The White House chose Booker Elementary in part because of its proximity to an airport, but largely because of its demographics and its academic improvement, said Superintendent Wilma Hamilton. [Sarasota Herald-Tribune] |
Bush's 9/11 Booker
Elementary Broadcast:
Bravery, Stupidity, or Setup?
At 9:06 a.m. on September 11, 2001
Andrew Card supposedly whispered "A second plane hit the second tower. America is under attack" into President Bush's ear. It stands to reason that Bush would be a prime target of any attack, so why didn'tCard mention the fact that other hijacked planes were in the air? |

There are 6 airports located close to the Emma E. Booker Elementary School in Sarasota:
|
Planes from five of these airports
could have been hostile, but for some reasonCard
didn't feel this was worthy of a mention even though
Bush's location was public knowledge. Why? If 9/11 was a surprise attack then Bush should have been immediately evacuated from the school, but he wasn't. |
|
He and his staff felt so secure there
that they stayed until just after 09:30, and this allowed
Bush to make his scheduled TV broadcast - how convenient, and great
material for the history books. Bravery, stupidity, or setup? |
