Video evidence also showed unambiguously that the collapse progressed from the top to the bottom, and there was no evidence ... of any blast or explosions in the region below the impact and fire floors as the top building sections ... began their downward movement upon collapse initiation. In summary, NIST found no corroborating evidence for alternative hypotheses suggesting that the WTC towers were brought down by controlled demolition using explosives. [NIST]

9/11 WTC Explosions:
The Official Collapse Theory Implodes

NIST is adamant that the twin towers' collapses were initiated by nothing more than aircraft impacts, office fires and gravity. The following video details a gravity driven demolition and compares it to the collapse of WTC 1. Please watch it carefully.

If the WTC collapses were driven by gravity then it stands to reason that there would be many large pieces of wreckage following the collapses.

This wasn't the case.

"You have two 110 story office buildings. You don't find a desk. You don't find a chair. You don't find a telephone, a computer. The biggest piece of a telephone I found was half of the keypad ... The building collapsed to dust."
Peter Tully, president of [Tully Construction], was, notably, the only person willing to speak openly with AFP about his work at the WTC site. ... “Think of the thousands of file cabinets, computers, and telephones in those towers—I never saw one—every thing was pulverized,” Tully said. “Everything that was above grade—above the 6th and 7th floor—disintegrated . . . it was like an explosion.” Tully Construction specializes in concrete. AFP asked Tully if he had ever seen concrete pulverized as it was at the WTC. “No—never,” he said. [AFP]

Floors would fall at near freefall speed if explosives eliminated the support of the buildings' cores. The end result of quarter mile high 110 story buildings smashing down would be total obliteration at ground level.

So is there any evidence of explosives in the buildings?

Yes.

"If you could plan ... the worst case scenario high rise mission ... you had it on 9/11. There were numerous secondary explosions taking place in that building, they were continuous explosions."

"Shortly after 9 o'clock ... [Albert Turi the Chief of Safety for the NYFD] received word of the possibility of a secondary device, that is another bomb going off. He tried to get his men out as quickly as he could, but he said there was another explosion which took place, and then an hour after the first hit ... he said there was another explosion ... he thinks that there were actually devices that were planted in the building."
Lou Cacchioli, Firefighter in WTC 1: At that point, Cacchioli found one of the only functioning elevators, one only going as high as the 24th floor ... "Tommy Hetzel was with me and everybody else also gets out of the elevator when it stops on the 24th floor," said Cacchioli, "There was a huge amount of smoke. Tommy and I had to go back down the elevator for tools and no sooner did the elevators close behind us, we heard this huge explosion that sounded like a bomb. It was such a loud noise, it knocked off the lights and stalled the elevator.

"Luckily, we weren't caught between floors and were able to pry open the doors. People were going crazy, yelling and screaming. And all the time, I am crawling low and making my way in the dark with a flashlight to the staircase and thinking Tommy is right behind me. "I somehow got into the stairwell and there were more people there. When I began to try and direct down, another huge explosion like the first one hits. This one hits about two minutes later, although it's hard to tell, but I'm thinking, 'Oh. My God, these bastards put bombs in here like they did in 1993!' [Arctic Beacon]

The collapses were preceded by explosions at the base of buildings. The following video documents four explosions.

The absence of high frequencies in the above video's audio track indicates the sounds travelled through the ground and reached the camera's microphone though a tripod.

People in the area of the World Trade Center heard three explosions prior to each collapse.

"I had heard a distant boom boom boom, sounded like three explosions. I don't know what it was. At the time, I would have said they sounded like bombs, but it was boom boom boom and then the lights all go out." [Keith Murphy -- (F.D.N.Y.)]
"We were standing underneath and Captain Stone was speaking again. We heard -- I heard 3 loud explosions. I look up and the north tower is coming down now, 1 World Trade Center." [Greg Brady -- E.M.T.]
"That's when [the North Tower] went. I looked back. You see three explosions and then the whole thing coming down." [Frank Campagna -- Firefighter]

The final explosion was widely heard and accompanied by a ground level fireball.

"I spoke with some law enforcement officials moments ago .. and they told me they have reason to believe that one of the explosions at the World Trade Center, aside from the ones that may have been caused by the impact of the plane with the building, may have been caused by a van that was parked in the building that may have had some type of explosive device in it, so their fear is that there may have been explosive devices planted either in the building or in the adjacent area. This is what the media said about the collapses on 9/11:

"This is clearly, the way the structure is collapsing, this was the result of something that was planned. It's not accidental that the first tower just happened to collapse and the second tower just happened to collapse in exactly the same way. How they accomplished this we don't know."

"I'm reasonably sure that it wasn't the impact of the planes alone that did this, I mean I think that you don't need to be an engineer to hypothesise that something else compromised them. They ... have imploded."

It is clear from the above videos that explosions occurred in the towers before and during the collapses. This begs the question as to why NIST is trying to deny the undeniable. Why doesn't their report correspond with the FBI's initial cover story and state truck bombs in the WTC basements initiated the collapses?

An explanation lies in an event which took place a few miles from the World Trade Center on the evening of 9/11:

This text will be replaced
"CBS2 has learned ... that two men are in custody tonight after being arrested at the George Washington bridge with an entire truckload of explosives. Now I'm told those explosives could have been enough to blow up the entire span and all the cars and the people that were on it ... the explosives were destined for underneath the George Washington bridge..."

If the GW bridge bomb had gone off as planned the news headlines on September 12 would have probably been "Twin Towers brought down by planes and truck bombs, George Washington bridge devastated". The wrecked bridge would have been used to propagandize the destructive power of truck bombs and point to their use in the towers.

The only thing that prevented total carnage on the bridge was exemplary work by the NYPD. The news broadcast leaves it unsaid that the men arrested were Israelis.

This Israeli connection provided a real quandary for NIST. If their report mentioned vehicle bombs in the World Trade Center then attention would be focussed on the fact that the only people driving explosive laden trucks around New York on 9/11 were Israelis. This doesn't look good when you're trying to pin the blame on Arabs.

The cover story of truck bombs imploding the twin towers was effectively blown.

As a result, NIST's report is a half-baked collapse theory which is totally divorced from reality, and it focuses solely on the implausible scenario of office fires perfectly imploding the twin towers minutes after aircraft impacts.

"The building was designed to have a fully loaded 707 crash into it, that was the largest plane at the time. I believe that the building could probably sustain multiple impacts of jet liners because this structure is like the mosquito netting on your screen door - this intense grid - and the plane is just a pencil puncturing that screen netting. It really does nothing to the screen netting."

NIST's report is nothing more than a smokescreen to divert attention away from the true perpetrators of 9/11 and Israel's role in events. Its aim is to eliminate difficult questions about inconsistencies in the official story, and it is succeeding. The flawed nature NIST's report has resulted in people spending countless hours analyzing WTC collapse videos instead of questioning why a potential massacre on the George Washington bridge has been covered up.

Don't be taken for a fool.

Do the research. Ignore the trivia. Expose the liars.
