Such global unity has never existed, except in the fevered hopes of U.S. officials. Biden neglected to mention that virtually all of the 40 countries contributing to Ukraine’s defense are NATO members or other U.S. allies and security dependents. Support elsewhere in the world for sanctions and other components of its policy against Moscow has been notable by its absence. 

On Thursday, after Russian President Vladimir Putin called up 300,000 reservists and warned that he was prepared to use nuclear weapons in case of a NATO attack on Russia, European Union (EU) officials recklessly pledged to continue escalating the conflict. They announced new sanctions on Russia, which will further raise food and energy prices that are devastating workers’ budgets, and continued arms deliveries to Ukraine.

The pivot comes full circle as domestic terrorists replace Islamic Jihadists. The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) that supports this strategy has no less than 6 members of the Trilateral Commission on its Board of Directors, including Henry Kissinger and Leon Panetta. Democrats plan to “dump” President Biden and call on Hillary Clinton to run for a third time in 2024 out of fear that a more radical left-wing candidate could end up on the ticket, veteran political consultant Dick Morris said in a new interview.

Former President Donald Trump said during a Save America rally in North Carolina on Friday that President Joe Biden is “cognitively impaired” and warned that his leadership might lead the United States into World War III.

Trump’s comments on Biden’s mental capacity came during the end of his rally, when he talked about America being a “nation in decline.” Trump also delivered the end of his speech with ominous music playing in the background, as he has done at several of his rallies.

The Russia-Ukraine conflict and other stories played up by major US media outlets have apparently failed to strike a nerve with many Americans, who are far more concerned about such issues as violent crime and inflation heading into the midterm congressional elections in November, a leading polling firm has revealed.

It is easy to find the courage necessary to support a moral position if that position benefits oneself. True moral courage, however, is proven when one chooses to support that which is morally and ethically right even when such a position is to one's one detriment.
