The Israeli government is pushing a new online film. It copies the visual style of the praised documentary, NAZA. The original movie investigates how the military uses artificial intelligence to target people in Gaza.

That original film won big at the Venice international film festival, reports The Guardian. But the new version wants to shift the narrative.

Quneitra farmers increasingly cut off from their fields

Among the towns and villages impacted by Israel’s incursions into southwest Syria, few have had more problems than Jabata al-Khashab. The village, in northern Quneitra Governorate, is within the UNDOF demilitarized zone and subsequently is de facto occupied by the Israeli military, who seized much of the UNDOF zone starting at the end of 2024.

A former Israeli lawmaker has published election campaign adverts on public buses bearing the slogan: “Occupation. Expulsion. Settlement.”

Moshe Feiglin, chairman of the Zehut party, defended the slogan after it drew criticism online.

A longstanding advocate of expelling Palestinians from their homeland, Feiglin said on Instagram that people should get used to his policies.

What if the global oil crisis gets much, much worse?

I’m not talking about another $10 move in crude. I’m talking about a genuine global energy emergency, where oil reaches $150 or even $200 a barrel, physical shortages begin shutting down meaningful portions of the global economy, and central banks find themselves confronting an inflationary recession.

A French administrative court on Wednesday suspended a ban imposed Tuesday on a pro-Palestinian demonstration planned in Paris for the evening, allowing the rally to proceed, according to the court.

The court said the demonstration did not constitute a “trouble to public order.”

The rally, called by the Urgence Palestine collective “against the genocide in Gaza and for respect for the ceasefire,” can therefore go ahead Wednesday evening.

More than one in 10 people from Gaza’s pre-war population has been killed or wounded by Israeli fire since Israel launched its genocidal war against Palestinians in the territory in October 2023.

Nearly every family is now grieving for the dead or caring for the injured, while most residents have been forced to move repeatedly to escape fighting and evacuation orders.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas and other Palestinian resistance organizations launched an attack out of the Gaza Strip and into Israel under the code name “Al-Aqsa Flood.” Israeli and Western mainstream media and politicians rapidly labelled this a massive act of terrorism and flooded the world with tales of horrific atrocities allegedly perpetrated by the Palestinians, such as sadistically murdering children and women and committing mass rape.
