The flow of thousands of migrants daily through the treacherous migratory highway, the Darien Gap, has been cut off following the capture of a number of boat captains who had been ferrying the migrants to the starting point of their jungle trek.

The stoppage began when Colombian law enforcement captured two boat captains in the northern city of Necoclí on Monday. The companies that employed them halted all transport services in protest, effectively cutting off the officially estimated 2,000 people a day that enter the jungled passage hoping to reach the United States.

Democrat assemblymember Joaquin Arambula (Fresno) recently introduced Assembly Bill 1840 to extend a first-time homebuyer loan program to illegal aliens.

Elon Musk took to his X account to deliver a dire warning over Joe Biden’s border crisis he says is “crushing the country.”

In his Feb. 27 post, Musk warned that “Dams are bursting all over the country.”

“America is only 4% of Earth’s population. If only 1% of the rest of Earth moves here, that would crush all essential services,” he said about the flood of illegals breaching out borders.

“I am ringing the alarm bell, because the flood of illegals is crushing the country!” Musk concluded.

A South St. Louis Church that caters to African refugees and migrants was shut down this week. City officials closed the church after a young woman was found beaten, bloody, and tied up with ropes. The victim said she was kidnapped by church officials.

The church caters to Africans who have resettled in St. Louis. Many of the congregants do not speak English but still speak Swahili.

A few years ago, Oregon decided to decriminalize drug use, perhaps in an attempt to further prove their progressive values. Things did not work out as planned.

In addition to a sharp rise in crime and homelessness, Portland and other areas in the state saw a dramatic rise in drug related deaths, many of them due to fentanyl use.

Now lawmakers are pushing to recriminalize drug use and even Democrats are supporting the effort.
