They hate us and commit acts of terror because one day, as they are going about their normal lives, there is a horrendous blast and people they have known all their lives are lying in bloody shreds at their feet, mixed in with shrapnel stamped 'Made in the USA.'" -- Michael Rivero

Cops arrested a 21-year-old gangbanger Monday for the murder of an innocent Bronx grandmother who was gunned down while running errands last week.

Joshua Evans was busted on murder and manslaughter charges for the broad daylight shooting that killed Enriqueta Rivera, 71, and wounded a 34-year-old woman Thursday in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx.

Evans was also hit with charges of attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Evans allegedly opened fire at a member of a rival gang during an argument on East 138th Street near Brook Avenue just after 12:30 p.m.

The gunman missed his target and struck the two women in the busy commercial corridor.

“They are two innocent women, two Bronx residents, two unintended targets both struck by senseless gunfire,” NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said at a Monday press conference.

Rivera — described by those who knew her as a beloved grandmother and community member — was walking on the sidewalk with a shopping cart when she was shot through the heart, police said.

In San Diego, California, more immigrants are being dropped off at different transportation hubs.

More than 2,000 illegal asylum seekers were reportedly dropped off in the county just last week, according to a representative for San Diego County District 5.

Immigrants are experiencing their first taste of American culture at the Iris Transit Center. The representative went on to explain that U.S. Customs and Border Protection had dropped off at least 292 people there on Sunday morning alone.

Disgraced YouTuber and family blogger Ruby Franke, who was recently arrested for alleged child abuse, received more than $80,000 in Payroll Protection Program loans during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

Deseret News reported that records from ProPublica's PPP database revealed that 8 Passengers LLC., Franke's company, received $41,810 on two separate occasions during the pandemic. The first payment was approved in April 2020, and the second was approved in January 2021. Both of the loans were forgiven in May 2021 and August 2021 respectively.

As a result, her company received a total of $83,620 from the government's loan program. The database indicated that 8 Passengers had just two employees and was listed in "other motion picture and video industries." Cache Valley Bank was the lender of the loans, which apparently covered payroll.

The company was registered under Franke's name in 2016, but in August 2022, its license in Utah expired and it was never renewed. This occurred just one year after the PPP loan was forgiven, according to the report.

Blair Featherman, a Colorado woman who was filmed hurling racial slurs at a Latino family, has claimed that unseen footage from the incident supports her assertion that she was assaulted by a man and several women at her Denver apartment complex.

In an interview with "Inside Edition," Featherman described the incident, stating, "They swarmed over like a swarm of bees, it was very fast. I got pushed first by a man, and then the women jumped on me." She claimed that there had been multiple instances prior to the July incident where non-residents would infiltrate the pool area by following residents in or out of the facility.

Featherman expressed her suspicion that the individuals she was filmed with were non-residents. She asked them to produce the key fob required for access to the area, and when they refused, she alleges that the group assaulted her.

She also suggested that an unseen video from the day of the incident shows her being attacked, pointing to a moment in the original video where her feet are seen going vertically in the air as she retreated to a poolside lounge chair. "I was literally curled up in a ball, just like this, trying to do as much as I could to get them from getting in close to me," she explained. "I poked some eyes and I think I pulled a girl's hair, but that was in defense because I had four women on top of me."

In a recent report by NBC News, it was revealed that distinguishing COVID-19 from common colds and allergies has become increasingly challenging for doctors.

The report, which was met with derision from online critics who claimed the revelation was three years overdue, highlighted the shifting symptomatology of the virus.

The article, published on Saturday, noted that the symptoms of COVID-19 are now more akin to those of the common cold and allergies. "Doctors say they're finding it increasingly difficult to distinguish COVID from allergies or the common cold, even as hospitalizations tick up," the report stated.

The report further acknowledged that the previously distinctive symptoms of COVID-19, such as a dry cough or loss of taste or smell, are now less prevalent. "Instead, doctors are observing milder disease, mostly concentrated in the upper respiratory tract," NBC News reported.

Former college swimmer Riley Gaines highlighted the utter absurdity of radical leftist gender ideology after someone made the oft-repeated, preposterous claim that transgender women are women.

"Trans women are women," J. Perkins, who describes himself on X as an "antiracist educator" and "higher ed lawyer," wrote a dozen times in a post. He also calls himself "woke."

"Hot dogs are dogs," Gaines mockingly wrote 12 times in a row when responding to Perkins' post. "A confident, outlandish statement ≠ reality," she added.

“I backdoored my way into the Capitol to see these videos” as well as “into seeing some of this evidence that was under court seal,” he tells Poulos.

He was able to verify that what he saw in court was in fact a suppression of evidence “that would quite likely be exculpatory evidence for these defendants.”

However, that’s not all Baker has found.

“What we have discovered is not only suppression of evidence, but also the creation out of thin air of evidence that did not exist for the purpose of convicting,” Baker tells Poulos, adding that “there are people who have been scapegoated who have become the patsies, who have become the anointed leaders of the insurrection.”

Those “anointers leaders” were in fact “not at all” and “have been falsely accused.”

While Baker cannot currently release the names of these scapegoats, he will soon be able to take a few Blaze reporters with him into the video room, where he says he will finally be able to “get this off my chest.”

A top NATO official warned that rising ammunition prices could mean that Western countries do not spend enough on the military to sufficiently arm Ukraine. Washington and its allies have pledged nearly $100 billion in weapons to Kiev since the Russian invasion last year.

On Saturday, the chair of NATO’s military committee, Dutch Admiral Rob Bauer said alliance members need to spend more on defense to account for the rising prices. “Prices for equipment and ammunition are shooting up. Right now, we are paying more and more for exactly the same,” he said. “That means that we cannot make sure that the increased defense spending actually leads to more security.”

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the US has pledged over $43 billion in arms to Kiev. The increase in demand for arms has led to an increase in the stock prices of American weapons merchants.

Former Pentagon officials have warned that arms makers are exploiting the war in Ukraine to price gouge the Department of Defense. Shay Assad, who worked as a Pentagon contract negotiator for 40 years, told 60 Minutes that such firms overcharge the DoD for everything from “radar and missiles … helicopters … planes … submarines… down to the nuts and bolts.”

Ivanka Trump, daughter of former President Donald Trump, made a trip to Hawaii to help those who are still suffering from the tragic wildfires that took place last month.

The former first daughter was on a charity mission with CityServe International, which included serving over 250,000 prepared meals to displaced families who are struggling to get back on track after the biggest wildfires in American history.

Additionally, Ivanka visited a Lahaina church that was being utilized as a temporary food bank and was able to talk to locals who now are trying to start their lives over.

“Her humble presence lifted spirits and reminded the people of Lahaina that they are not forgotten,” CityServe said in a statement.

“Amid the tears being shed, there are tangible signs of hope and love, and with the arrival of meals and supplies, our partners and team joined Ivanka in lifting boxes of supplies, comforting survivors and sharing meals to those who have lost everything,” the organization continued.

According to CityServe, Ivanka Trump distributed food, water, local produce, gift cards, and other essential supplies for those in need.

Furthermore, the charity is also providing gas cards and air filters to locals, which comes after residents were advised by officials to not drink the water in the area.

A group of self-identified Antifa supporters who wanted “civil war and revolution” on Jan. 6 sought online blueprints for federal buildings so they could firebomb them and discussed using a Roman legion formation to attack police lines, a Sept. 15 court filing alleges.

Defendant William Pope of Topeka, Kansas, included the information in a renewed U.S. District Court push (pdf) to compel federal prosecutors to produce all bodycam footage and video filmed by Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) undercover officers on Jan. 6, 2021.

Mr. Pope, 37, publisher of the news website Free State Kansas, was at the Capitol on Jan. 6, covering the protest and subsequent violence.

Federal prosecutors charged him with civil disorder, corruptly obstructing an official proceeding, entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, impeding ingress or egress in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly conduct in a Capitol building, impeding passage through the Capitol grounds or buildings, and parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building. He faces a July 2024 trial.

According to Pope’s latest motion, MPD officers made a traffic stop at 10:15 a.m. on Jan. 6 of a vehicle containing three Antifa operatives: Jonathan Kelly, Logan Grimes, and Dempsey Mikula.

Kremlin military police are starting to get concerned about the possibility of the U.S. releasing virus-spreading mosquitoes on them. Bill Gates and his globalist partners could be planning to attack Moscow, the Russian capital (and try to assassinate Putin in the process), with genetically mutated mosquitoes equipped with gain-of-function viruses concocted in laboratories.

It’s a fact that a Columbian mosquito factory not only exists but is funded by the insidious Bill Gates. At this factory, scientists are breeding at least 30 million virus-infected mosquitoes every week. Using the infected mosquitoes like weapons of mass destruction, the United States and NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) could release them from drones or catapult them from the western border of Ukraine, into Russia, and literally wipe out millions of Russians in a matter of weeks or months.

But, if they can do that to Russia, where else could infected mosquitoes be released in order to depopulate or infect millions if not billions of human beings?

A violent assault on a Seattle gas station clerk by teenagers, all for $100 and cigarettes, further highlights the growing culture of violence plaguing America's younger generation.

Local news Fox 13 said the gas station clerk in Normandy Park was attending the register Friday night when a gang of young teens, driving a stolen Kia and Hyundai, ransacked the store, and in the process, one of the kids brutally beat the clerk while the others stole $100 from the register and cigarettes.

"Kids don't seem to fear anything anymore," Leah Johnston, the gas station cashier at Friendly Normandy Market, told Fox 13, adding, "There's like, no repercussions for them the way there used to be."

Johnston is correct. Progressive cities like Seattle have defunded police and only emboldened criminals to commit thefts and other violent crimes.

She explained the robbery only lasted 25 seconds. During it, she described, "They were laughing. They had no [regard] for anything. They don't care anymore."

Johnston continued, "I know of people who have been robbed, I know in the back of my mind it can always happen. But, I never thought that I would be attacked the way I was attacked."

If you already previously got “vaccinated” and “boosted” for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), congratulations: you accomplished absolutely nothing except for the destruction of your immune system because the latest circulating COVID “variants” are no match for anything other than the newest COVID jabs to be approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

This is basically what New York Gov. Kathy Hochul told her constituents this week following the FDA’s decision to approve and emergency use authorize (EUA) the “updated” COVID jabs from Pfizer and Moderna.

According to Hochul, all previous COVID injections are ineffective against newer variants like Omicron XBB.1.5. As such, the fully vaccinated will need to head on down to the clinic once again to take these latest Big Pharma shots if they hope to stay protected this fall and winter.

“It is literally a new vaccine,” Hochul said, delivering that line in her best “valley girl” voice. “It is not a booster shot. It is not an enhancer. It is a new vaccine designed to attack the new variants.”

Put another way, Hochul is basically saying that Operation Warp Speed did nothing and that now everyone must get jabbed once again if they wish to survive COVID 2.0.

Taiwan’s Defense Ministry said it detected 103 Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) warplanes operating around Taiwan from 6 am Sunday to 6 am Monday, the most in a 24-hour period since Taipei began releasing the figures in September 2020.

According to The New York Times, the previous daily high was 91, which was recorded on April 10, when China was conducting major drills around the island in response to Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen’s meeting with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) in California.

China has significantly stepped up its military activity around Taiwan in response to the island’s growing military and diplomatic ties with the US. Most notable was the massive live-fire exercises that the PLA held in response to then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visiting the island in August 2022.

Out of the 103 PLA aircraft reported by the Taiwanese Defense Ministry on Monday, 40 crossed the median line or entered the southwest and southeast corners of Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). Taiwan’s ADIZ extends far beyond its airspace, and there’s no indication the PLA aircraft came that close to the island.

The US is planning to open a Space Force command post in Japan as it’s looking to increase its space capabilities in the Indo-Pacific region as part of the buildup aimed at China.

Last year, the US established Space Force command posts in Hawaii and South Korea, which both fall under US Indo-Pacific Command. When President Biden hosted the leaders of South Korea and Japan at Camp David last month, the three nations agreed to increase space cooperation.

Maj. Charles Taylor, deputy commander of Space Forces Korea, told Stars and Stripes that there was already a small number of Space Force members, known as guardians, in Japan. Taylor declined to say where the Space Force command post will be located in Japan or how many personnel will be stationed there.

The US military has said the purpose of its Space Force base in South Korea is for “space operations and services such as missile warnings … and satellite communications with the region.” Chinese military experts told The South China Morning Post that the establishment of the Space Force outposts in East Asia would fuel a US-China space race.

In an interview with ABC This Week on September 10, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken was asked about the possibility of negotiations with Russia. “You spent quite a bit of time with President Zelenskyy,” ABC’s Jonathan Karl said. “What is your sense?  How does he see this ending? Does he see himself coming to a negotiating table with the Russians at some point? How does this end?”

Blinken responded, as the US consistently has, by implying that the Ukraine-US side has always been willing to take the diplomatic route and that it is Russia who has been unwilling to negotiate. “And as to negotiations, Jon, it takes two to tango,” Blinken said. “And thus far, we see no indication that Vladimir Putin has any interest in meaningful diplomacy.” Blinken then added that “If he does, I think the Ukrainians will be the first to engage, and we’ll be right behind them.”

That answer took more than a little historical revisionism and more than a lot of nerve. Russia has three times engaged in meaningful diplomacy. All three took place in the early days of the war, and all three could have ended the war before the escalation and devastation. Russia first engaged in meaningful diplomacy with Ukraine in Belarus just three days after the war began. They then, once again, engaged in diplomacy mediated by then Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. Most promisingly, Russia signed a tentative agreement with Ukraine during the negotiations in Istanbul.

It has been clear for some time that US corporate news media have explicitly taken a side on the Ukraine War. This role includes suppressing relevant history of the lead-up to the war (FAIR.org, 3/4/22), attacking people who bring up that history as “conspiracy theorists” (FAIR.org, 5/18/22), accepting official government pronouncements at face value (FAIR.org, 12/2/22) and promoting an overly rosy picture of the conflict in order to boost morale.

For most of the war, most of the US coverage has been as pro-Ukrainian as Ukraine’s own media, now consolidated under the Zelenskyy government (FAIR.org, 5/9/23). Dire predictions sporadically appeared, but were drowned out by drumbeat coverage portraying a Ukrainian army on the cusp of victory, and the Russian army as incompetent and on the verge of collapse.

Triumphalist rhetoric soared in early 2023, as optimistic talk of a game-changing “spring offensive” dominated Ukraine coverage. Apparently delayed, the Ukrainian counteroffensive launched in June. While even US officials did not believe that it would amount to much, US media papered over these doubts in the runup to the campaign.

Over the last three months, it has become clear that the Ukrainian military operation will not be the game-changer it was sold as; namely, it will not significantly roll back the Russian occupation and obviate the need for a negotiated settlement. Only after this became undeniable did media report on the true costs of war to the Ukrainian people.

A US military whistleblower has warned the American people about a huge spike in cases of heart failure among service members who have received mRNA injections for Covid.

The brave whistleblower has chosen to shun anonymity and identified himself as active-duty Navy Medical Service Corps officer Lt. Ted Macie.

Earlier this year, Macie anonymously disclosed data from a Pentagon medical database showing a huge and officially unexplained spike in the rate of myocarditis in the military in 2021.

Myocarditis is a known side effect of Covid mRNA shots.

Severe myocarditis weakens the heart so that the rest of the body doesn’t get enough blood, according to Mayo Clinic.

Clots can form in the heart, leading to a stroke, heart attack, or cardiac arrest, often ending in death.

Israeli helicopter pilots who shoot missiles into Palestinian homes killing children are acting with “moral values,” and in the name of “democracy,” according to a “60 Minutes” segment on Israel’s anti-Netanyahu protests that aired last night.

The heroes of Lesley Stahl’s CBS News report from Israel were four Israeli reservists who are taking part in the “democracy” protests and refusing to serve under Netanyahu’s far-right government. They explained that they no longer trust the morality of their leaders:

Shira Eting: I was a combat helicopter pilot…. If you want pilots to be able to fly and shoot bombs and missiles into houses knowing they might be killing children, they must have the strongest confidence in the people making those decisions.

Ron Scherf [Commander in the special forces]: In the moral values of them.

Shira Eting: Exactly.

Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) is calling for two universities to censor pro-Palestine sentiment on their campuses.

In open letters to Princeton University President Christopher Eisgruber and University of Pennsylvania President M. Elizabeth Magill, the New Jersey congressman calls for a book on the IDF to be removed from a class syllabus and two Israel critics to be removed from an upcoming panel.

The book is The Right to Maim: Debility, Capacity, Disability by Jasbir K. Puar (Duke University Press, 2017). “Drawing on a stunning array of theoretical and methodological frameworks, Puar uses the concept of ‘debility’ — bodily injury and social exclusion brought on by economic and political factors — to disrupt the category of disability,” reads a description of the book on the publisher’s website. “She shows how debility, disability, and capacity together constitute an assemblage that states use to control populations. Puar’s analysis culminates in an interrogation of Israel’s policies toward Palestine, in which she outlines how Israel brings Palestinians into biopolitical beings by designating them available for injury.”

The military temporarily losing a fighter jet near Charleston, South Carolina, and asking the public to help find it is a plotline in which “Top Gun” (fighter jets) meets “The Hunt for Red October” (country can’t find its weapons system).

But the larger story of the F-35 Lightning II stealth fighter is like tax dollars meet “The Blob” (unstoppable force consumes everything in its path).

How in the heck?

“How in the hell do you lose an F-35?” wondered Rep. Nancy Mace, the South Carolina Republican, in a post on social media Sunday that speaks for everyone who read the headline about the state-of-the-art military plane that went missing earlier in the day after its pilot ejected and parachuted to safety. The debris field of the plane was located approximately two hours northeast of Joint Base Charleston, the Marine Corps and a defense official with knowledge of the search told CNN Monday evening.

“How is there not a tracking device and we’re asking the public to what, find a jet and turn it in?” she continued.

A more general and important question could be asked of the F-35 program writ large: How in the heck can you spend so much money on a plane that doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to?

The F-35 Lightning II is meant to be the crown jewel of America’s airborne fleet. Each of these next-generation fighter jets has a price tag that runs upward of $80 million, even before factoring in costs like maintenance. According to manufacturer Lockheed Martin, the F-35 “is more than a fighter jet, it’s a powerful force multiplier.” And now one of them has potentially crashed in a field in South Carolina.

That’s about par for the course for the F-35. Since it was first pitched in the early 1990s, a host of catastrophes, setbacks and cost overruns have made the F-35 the object of mass ridicule outside the Pentagon. For all its flaws, and despite it being the most expensive weapons system ever developed, there’s no danger that the program will be scrapped anytime soon. And honestly, that makes the F-35 the greatest tangible metaphor for U.S. military spending ever to exist.

Lockheed Martin says a new five-year deal to sustain the F-35 fleet won’t be reached by the end of this year. The Pentagon says it might not happen at all.

“For the F-35 program, and its continually expanding fleet, the process to put such a contract in place is complex, and we will take the time necessary to get it right. If we are unable to do so, we will move forward with another way to meet warfighter sustainment requirements. In the meantime, we continue to provide support through our existing contracts,” F-35 Joint Program Office spokesperson Russ Goemaere told Defense One in a statement.

Lockheed had long provided spare parts and sustainment services for the Pentagon’s F-35 under a succession of annual cost-plus-incentive contracts. In September 2021, DOD and Lockheed finalized a sustainment contract for fiscal 2021 to 2023 that included a mix of cost-plus-fixed-fee, and cost-plus and fixed-price incentive fees. But since 2019, company officials have been working to persuade DOD that it should move to five-year performance-based logistics, or PBL, contracts, under which the company would be paid to produce outcomes, not provide quantities of parts and services.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has accused protesters against his rule of “joining forces with the Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO) and Iran,” as he set off for a visit to the US on Monday.

As the right-wing leader departed from Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, hundreds of protestors chanted: “Go and don’t come back."

Mass protests have gripped Israel for eight months following Netanyahu’s move to overhaul the judiciary and significantly water down its oversight power.

Protestors have promised to follow Netanyahu wherever he goes on his overseas trips.

What if I told you one in 50 people who took a new medication had a “medically attended adverse event” and the manufacturer refused to disclose what exactly the complication was — would you take it?

And what if the theoretical benefit was only transient, lasting about three months, after which your susceptibility goes back to baseline?

And what if we told you the Food and Drug Administration cleared it without any human-outcomes data and European regulators are not universally recommending it as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is?

That’s what we know about the new COVID vaccine the Biden administration is firmly recommending for every American 6 months old and up.

The push is so hard that former White House COVID coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha and CDC head Mandy Cohen are making unsupported claims the new vaccine reduces hospitalizations. long COVID and the likelihood you will spread COVID.

None of those claims has a shred of scientific support.

In fact, if the manufacturers said that, they could be fined for making false marketing claims beyond an FDA-approved indication.

The questions surrounding Moderna’s new COVID vaccine approved this week are still looming.

Pfizer’s version, approved this week as well, also has zero efficacy data and has not been tested on humans at all. We only have data about antibody production from 10 mice.

The FDA, or Moderna (frankly, it’s hard to tell the difference sometimes), should disclose what happened to the patient who took the new vaccine and had a complication that required medical attention.

The public has a right to know.

The last time the Biden administration approved and recommended a novel COVID bivalent booster, last fall, with no human-outcomes data, it was an epic fail.

Only 17% of Americans took it (and some of those were forced to do so by their employer or school).
