"'Congress shall make no law respecting an institution of religion.' -- The First Amendment to the Constitution

A Nativity scene (or a Menorah for that matter) is not a law, it is a decoration. And on that basis, even though I myself am an atheist, I do not have a problem with Nativity scenes on government property, other than they are a reminder that those are the people we are bombing to steal their oil.

I do draw the line at the Ten Commandments being on display on government buildings with its prohibitions against lying, theft, and killing, as that hostile work environment!" -- Michael Rivero

George Stephanopoulos gave his blunt assessment of Joe Biden's performance in their blockbuster interview Friday -- then immediately regretted it.

Biden's lackluster performance in a ABC News interview with the former White House Press Secretary on Friday followed a disastrous debate performance last month.

Stephanopoulos, 63, was stopped for an interview to give his reaction to the fallout from his chat with the president.

He was asked if Biden should step down by a pedestrian and responded: 'I don't think he can serve four more years.'

The video soon caught fire on the internet and now the longtime ABC News fixture has offered a statement of regret.

The Richard Nixon Foundation slammed Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson after the Democrat placed the blame for crime in his city on the man who served in the White House - 40 years ago.

Johnson, 48, sparked backlash following the July Fourth holiday weekend - where 19 were killed and over 100 were injured by shootings in Chicago - after he cited Nixon as a 'root cause' of the crimewave.

'Black death has unfortunately been accepted in this country for a very long time,' he said at a news conference. 'We had a chance 60 years ago to get at the root causes, and people mocked President Johnson. And we ended up with Richard Nixon.'

In response, Jim Byron, the president and CEO of the Richard Nixon Foundation, told Fox News that Johnson was 'passing the blame, in this case ridiculously and gratuitously.'

The US military recently completed the construction of the floating pier which was to be used to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza. The pier was a total disaster from day one. Large waves and strong currents destroyed the pier. Vessels breached on shore after heavy waves. Now just after 21 days – and $320 million of taxpayer money – the pier will be permanently dismantled.

President Joe Biden's fitness to lead is under the microscope as he welcomes world leaders to Washington D.C. for the NATO summit while Democrat support wanes.

The White House has desperately tried to brush off suggestions that allies are concerned about the 81-year-old's mental and physical health after his car-crash debate performance against Donald Trump.

Biden's press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was peppered with questions about his health at her briefing on Tuesday and gave a startling response when asked if the president would personally deal with a nuclear attack after 8pm.

Meanwhile, Cook Political Report updated its Electoral College ratings in six states - all which have shifted in Trump's favor since the debate.

As the Gateway Pundit reported earlier today, Republican Senator Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma has passed away at the age of 89. While reporting this sad news, multiple liberal media outlets decided to take this opportunity to smear the deceased senator as a ‘climate change denier.’ One person on Twitter/X pointed out that the Washington Post has been kinder to terrorists when reporting their deaths.

A new technical proposal by Chinese scientists for conventional computers breaks the speed record of Sycamore, Google's quantum computer!! Sycamore is the most powerful quantum computer currently owned by Google. Due to the peculiarity of qubits, its basic units of information, it is capable of solving a task in 200 seconds that would take a conventional supercomputer 10,000 years to complete. Because of this, Google claims that Sycamore has “quantum supremacy,” a formal concept of computing that describes quantum computing systems that are capable of performing processes that are impossible not only for certain conventional computers, but for any traditional computing system.

House Democrats emerged from a critical private meeting on Joe Biden's future sullen, scrambled and downcast - as though they just got out of a funeral procession.

The summer heat beat down on dejected Democrats as they exited a secretive closed-door meeting where it appears there was no agreement made about Biden's future at the top of the 2024 ticket.

Not a single Democrat who emerged from the hour-long session indicated that there was consensus on whether Biden, 81, has the full backing of the caucus at his age over a week since his disastrous debate.

One lawmaker admitted to DailyMail.com there were major disagreements inside at the meeting over whether Biden has the health and wherewithal to secure the nomination.

When you are creeping out on a very high tree limb, everything may seem fine until suddenly the limb snaps and disaster strikes.  I think that is a perfect metaphor for what we are facing as a country.  Our politicians in Washington have artificially propped up our economy for years by piling up 34 trillion dollars in debt, and the “experts” at the Federal Reserve have artificially propped up the financial markets for years by pumping trillions upon trillions of dollars that they created out of thin air into the system.  But now we are so far out on a limb that there is no way back, and there is no safety net below.  Ultimately, our fate will be the same as this guy…

A court in Russia ordered the arrest of the widow of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny during a hearing on Tuesday that was conducted in absentia as part of a sweeping Kremlin crackdown on the opposition.

Yulia Navalnaya, who lives abroad, would face arrest if and when she returns to Russia.

Moscow's Basmanny District Court ruled to arrest Navalnaya on charges of alleged involvement in an extremist group.

Navalny, the fiercest political foe of Russian President Vladimir Putin, died in February in an Arctic penal colony while serving a 19-year sentence on extremism charges that he had condemned as politically motivated.

The devastation of Germany by total warfare during World War II cast serious doubt on Germany’s postwar ability to survive. Never before in history had a nation’s life-sustaining resources been so thoroughly demolished. Returning from victory in Europe, Gen. Omar Bradley stated, “I can tell you that Germany has been destroyed utterly and completely.”[1]

Despite soothing words from Allied leaders at the Yalta and Potsdam Conferences, it soon became evident to the Germans that the Allies did not arrive as liberators. Instead, the Allies arrived as conquerors as vengeful, greedy and ruthless as any who had ever won a war. This article documents the plundering and destruction of Germany that continued after the end of World War II.

The United States and its satellites are making attempts to whip up war hysteria and demonize Russia while pushing for militarism and expansionism at a NATO summit, Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said on Tuesday.

"The first day of the NATO summit reaffirmed the aggressive nature of the alliance. The United States and its allies continued to preach militarism and military expansion. Western countries disguised as democracies have once again demonstrated their desire to impose authoritarian orders based on rules beneficial to the `golden billion’ around the world," the Russian Embassy quoted Antonov as saying on its Telegram channel.

"Many states of the global majority face the aggressive policy of the collective West on a daily basis and have experienced first hand the tricks of the neocolonizers: since you have a weak man before you, kick him, then demand territories for military bases from him, get him into military blocs, influence his domestic and foreign policies," the diplomat maintained. "And if someone resists, then you can send troops to impose your will by force of arms," he continued, referring to former Yugoslavia as a case in point.

President Joe Biden avoided a near disastrous slip-up during his welcome speech to NATO leaders on Tuesday as the eyes of the world watched him to judge his fitness to serve four more years in the White House.

The president, visibly reading from the teleprompter, read a three-word instruction to himself as he awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg - but was saved from utter embarrassment by the audience applause.

'Ask the military aide,' Biden said while preparing to award Stoltenberg the nation's highest civilian honor.

Biden then quickly caught himself, while the crowd drowned up the flub with cheers.

The Baltic Sea, our vulnerable inland sea, is one of the most trafficked, fragile and polluted seas in the world. On top of numerous environmental problems, rapidly increasing military threats are present in the Baltic Sea.

In addition to the increasing number of permanent troops in the Baltic Sea Region, the number of war exercises has increased. The number of participants and participating countries has also increased. The nature of the exercises has also changed. Before, mainly crisis management was exercised. Nowadays also heavily armed and well equipped troop clashes are simulated, as well as nuclear warfare. Furthermore, the number of airspace violations and dangerous close by flights escalated in the summer of 2017.

Military exercises that include thousands and even tens of thousands of participants, and that are arranged several times a year by both western countries and Russia, dramatically add to the tensions between the western countries and Russia and contribute to the environmental pollution in the area. The exercises are a threat to world peace and a waste of valuable resources which should be used to tackle existing and future environmental challenges.

Germany and eight other countries on the Baltic Sea aim to jointly procure naval mines, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said on Tuesday, as Russia is taking an increasingly assertive stance in the Baltic Sea region.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Washington, Pistorius said Russia had been challenging the borders in the Baltic Sea time and again.

"Just recently we have seen how Russia tries to extend Russian territorial waters outside Kaliningrad. We are all unmistakably clear that we will not allow such advances," he said.

"To that end, we need the necessary capabilities for deterrence and defence, one of them being naval mines."

Pistorius was referring to an incident in May when Estonia blamed Russian border guards for removing navigation buoys from the Estonian side of the Narva River separating the two countries.

How has America's pursuit of power and militarism led to financial ruin and political corruption? Join us as Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski exposes the dark underbelly of U.S. post-World War II conflicts, revealing the staggering human and economic costs. We scrutinize the bipartisan nature of America's militaristic engagements and question why democracies, specifically the U.S., are so prone to war. Colonel Kwiatkowski unpacks how money and power fuel deadly decisions, resulting in a culture of militarization that seems irreversible, and scrutinizes the stronghold of foreign lobbies on American politics.

In this eye-opening episode of Judging Freedom, we also critique the failures of both elected officials and unelected advisors in shaping foreign policy. From the neglect of frontline realities to the influence of the donor class, we dissect the systemic shortcomings in U.S. leadership. We dive into a recent exposé, initially brought to light by Max Blumenthal and Aaron Maté, and now backed by new evidence from Haaretz. Uncover the U.S. government's denial of these findings and the broader implications for America's international standing. Don't miss this critical conversation that challenges conventional narratives and demands accountability.
