“There are instruments so dangerous to the rights of the nation and which place them so totally at the mercy of their governors that those governors, whether legislative or executive, should be restrained from keeping such instruments on foot but in well-defined cases. Such an instrument is a standing army.”

- Thomas Jefferson, 1789

Most people think everything is fine. The Fed is getting inflation under control and soon they’ll be able to cut interest rates, keeping the economy from falling into a deep recession. In his podcast, Peter Schiff poured cold water on this narrative. He explains why the Fed won’t be able to repeat the magic it pulled off after the financial crisis and COVID.

Oil prices continued to climb last week. Meanwhile, bond yields also continue to push higher.

As Peter pointed out, one of the big reasons CPI came down so quickly was falling energy prices.

People forget oil prices fell almost 50% from their peak, and that fall ended in May of this year. But that big decline in oil prices was a major factor in bringing headline inflation from 9% to 3%. And it’s not just the rate hikes that did it. I mean, they were partially responsible because the rate hikes pushed up the dollar and the dollar going up brings oil prices down.”

Tesla shares are up nearly 6% in the pre-market session after Morgan Stanley's Adam Jonas raised his price target on the name to $400, upgraded the company to "overweight" and named Tesla a top pick.

Jonas predicts that Tesla's Dojo supercomputer may add as much as $500 billion to the company’s market value as a result of faster adoption of Robotaxis and the company's network services. Jonas says the technology can open up "new addressable markets" in the same way AWS did for Amazon.

Dojo could put Tesla at “an asymmetric advantage” in a market potentially worth $10 trillion, the note says.

In its 66 page note out Monday morning, MS wrote: "We believe that Dojo can add up to $500bn to Tesla's enterprise value, expressed through a faster adoption rate in Mobility (robotaxi) and Network Services (SaaS). The change drives our PT increase to $400 vs. $250 previously. We upgrade to Overweight and make Tesla our Top Pick."

Russia and its partners within BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) need to work on a unification of payment systems and a mechanism to regulate trade in national currencies to boost mutual trade and be more independent, geopolitical analyst Pepe Escobar told Sputnik.

"We do not need a new BRICS currency, we don’t need a new euro, you don’t need something you can buy coffee with. You need what [Russian] President [Vladimir] Putin said, in fact, recently — a mechanism regulating trade in bilateral currencies and multilateral currencies [within BRICS and SCO] and also in parallel a unification of payment systems," Escobar said on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Russia's Vladivostok.

One of the ways to start the process is to initiate the unification of Russia's payment system, SPFS (System for Transfer of Financial Messages), China's CIPS (China International Payments System) and the Iranian system, the expert said.

The US dollar’s slow, creeping decline as the currency of choice for global trade and central bank reserve holdings accelerated in 2022, when Washington and its allies attempted, and failed, to sanction Russia into submission amid the crisis in Ukraine. Moscow and its partners reacted by ramping up trade in local currencies.

The ruble’s share in payments for Russian exports has topped 50 percent, and accounts for more than a third of Russia’s overall foreign trade, acting Federal Customs Service chief Ruslan Davydov has revealed.

“In the structure of our trade turnover, the ruble’s share is growing very strongly, of course. For example, in exports, over half of payments are in rubles. In imports, payments are still made mainly using the currencies of unfriendly countries; in general, ruble payments account for more than a third of overall trade turnover,” Davydov told Sputnik on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.

Washington has only stepped up its trade and sanctions war on Beijing since Joe Biden became US president. But China is increasingly settling payments with its trade partners in its own currency, undercutting the once-mighty dollar.

The Chinese yuan has recovered from its lowest point after intervention by the country's central bank.

The currency fell to a rate of 7.26 to the US dollar last week, but peaked at around 7.35 on Friday before settling at just over 7.32 on Monday. Unnamed currency traders in China said lenders were selling dollars.

Singapore-based foreign exchange strategist Christopher Wong said intervention by the People's Bank of China "underscores policymakers' resolve to keep the yuan depreciation pressure in check."

But "it remains early to tell if this is really a turnaround due to the effects of economic support measures," Wong said.

Corresponding with President Joe Biden's weekend visit to Vietnam, The New York Times published the contents of a leaked Vietnamese government document, produced by the Ministry of Finance, revealing a covert plan for the country to procure Russian weapons in contravention of US-led sanctions on Moscow.

Biden met with the country's leader Nguyen Phu Trong on Sunday, and the two formally agreed to upgrade strategic ties between the US and Vietnam. But the NYT report demonstrates that "even as the United States and Vietnam have nurtured their relationship over recent months, Hanoi is making clandestine plans to buy an arsenal of weapons from Russia."

The revelation of the document strongly suggests that any agreements reached in Hanoi which the Biden White House is now celebrating as successful are likely to be fleeting and without much depth in the near and long-term.

According to details of the document's contents

The Ministry of Finance document, which is dated March 2023 and whose contents have been verified by former and current Vietnamese officials, lays out how Vietnam proposes to modernize its military by secretly paying for defense purchases through transfers at a joint Vietnamese and Russian oil venture in Siberia.

Signed by a Vietnamese deputy finance minister, the document notes that Vietnam is negotiating a new arms deal with Russia that would "strengthen strategic trust" at a time when "Russia is being embargoed by Western countries in all aspects."

A new poll of 6,000 Californians finds that cash reparations payouts to blacks are opposed 59%-28%.

Blacks think handing them money is a swell idea by a 76-16 margin in favor, but whites oppose it 65-25, Latinos are against 59-24, and Asians against 59-23.

Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom and state lawmakers created California’s Reparations Task Force in 2020 with the goal of establishing a path to reparations that could serve as a model for the nation.

It must have seemed like a good idea at the time to Newsom. I mean, you wouldn’t expect blacks, excuse me, Black people, to be the slightest bit greedy, now would you?

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday pushed back against plans announced by the leaders of India, Saudi Arabia and the EU to create a trade corridor that would link South Asia to Europe and bypass Turkey.

“We say that there is no corridor without Turkey,” Erdogan told journalists accompanying him to a G20 summit in India on Sunday. “Turkey is an important production and trade base. The most convenient line for traffic from east to west has to pass through Turkey.”

The transport link, dubbed the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor, or IMEC, aims to establish railway lines and shipping that will pass through the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Israel, then reach to Greece and Europe.

A memorandum of understanding on the corridor was signed by the European Union, India, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the US and other G20 partners.

One of the main objectives of the project is to cut shipping times by 40 percent and save money on other costs, and fuel use.

As the extent of the damage caused by the earthquake that struck southwest Morocco became clear on Saturday morning, many Algerians called on their leaders to offer humanitarian aid to their longtime regional rival.

Decades-old tensions between Morocco and Algeria have deteriorated since Algiers broke diplomatic relations with Rabat in August 2021 and closed its airspace to civil and military planes.

On Saturday, however, the Moroccan foreign ministry expressed the “great sadness” and the “deep affliction” with which Algeria was following the consequences of the earthquake, the most powerful to hit Morocco since 1900.

At least 2,497 people have been killed, with thousands more injured and many still missing, according to the latest update by the state news agency.

“In this painful ordeal, Algeria presents its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and the brotherly Moroccan people, assuring them of its deep compassion, and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured,” it said.

Sweden has again boosted its planned defence budget for 2024, taking the total planned increase for the year to 27 billion crowns ($2.44 billion) and exceeding the NATO threshold of 2% of GDP, the government said on Monday.

The defence minister announced that Sweden would add 700 million to the defence in its upcoming autumn budget, lifting the overall defence spending to 119 billion crowns in 2024, almost double that of 2020.

The spending is expected to be equivalent to 2.1% of Swedish GDP, he said.

"We are in the most serious security policy situation since the end of the Second World War," Minister of Defence Pal Jonson told a news conference.

An Egyptian state security prosecutor renewed on Sunday, 10 September, the dentation of several women for 15 days, pending further investigations into the charges of allegedly supporting and fundraising for a terrorist group.

The female detainees, most of their identities have not yet been disclosed, had in recent months formed a group named "Our Group Kitchen," which volunteered to cook decent meals for political prisoners and promoted the initiative on social media, according to a report released by Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, the Arabic language sister company of The New Arab.

The report added that women took turns delivering the meals; each one would distribute the food among inmates on the day of her scheduled visit.

Sky Mali, the only commercial airline flying to Timbuktu in Mali's interior, has cancelled flights there due to insecurity, it said on Monday, deepening the isolation of the northern city which has been under a month-long Islamist blockade.

Timbuktu, a UNESCO World Heritage site and ancient trading centre on the edge of the Sahara desert, has been suffering from a shortage of food and aid supplies since a local affiliate of al Qaeda cut off access by road and river in mid-August.

Two residents told Reuters that they heard shell fire near the city's airport on Monday morning.

Sky Mali later issued a statement saying it had suspended all flights to and from Timbuktu until further notice, citing a security alert.

The operator of the wrecked Fukushima nuclear power plant said Monday that it has safely completed the first release of treated radioactive water from the plant into the sea and will inspect and clean the facility before starting the second round in a few weeks.

The Fukushima Daiichi plant began discharging the treated and diluted wastewater into the Pacific Ocean on Aug. 24. The water has accumulated since the plant was damaged by a massive earthquake and tsunami in 2011, and the start of its release is a milestone in the plant’s decommissioning.

The discharge, which is expected to continue for decades until the decommissioning is finished, has been strongly opposed by fishing groups and by neighboring countries. China has banned all imports of Japanese seafood in response, hurting producers and exporters and prompting the Japanese government to compile an emergency relief fund. Groups in South Korea have also fiercely protested, demanding Japan stop the release.

Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, at summits last week of Southeast Asian countries and the Group of 20 nations, stressed the safety and transparency of the release to win international support and sought the immediate lifting of China’s ban.

The number of 9/11 first responders who have died from Ground Zero-related health complications is now nearly equal to number of first responders who died during the attacks.

Driving the news: The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) announced last week the addition of 43 names of first responders who died from 9/11-related ailments to its memorial at the World Trade Center.

  • The names added include those of firefighters, paramedics and EMTs.
  • "These brave men and women showed up that day, and in the days and months following the attacks to participate in the rescue and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center site. We will never forget them," Fire Commissioner Laura Kavanagh said in the press release.

By the numbers: In the 22 years since 9/11, 341 "FDNY members have died from rare cancers and diseases caused by the toxic dust at Ground Zero," the Uniformed Firefighters Association wrote in a Facebook post on Monday.

  • The count is nearly equal to the 343 New York City firefighters who died on September 11, 2001.

President Donald Trump has demanded U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan recuse herself from his D.C. January 6th case.

Trump’s lawyers wrote:

Judge Chutkan has, in connection with other cases, suggested that President Trump should be prosecuted and imprisoned. Such statements, made before this case began and without due process, are inherently disqualifying. Although Judge Chutkan may genuinely intend to give President Trump a fair trial—and may believe that she can do so—her public statements unavoidably taint these proceedings, regardless of outcome. The public will reasonably and understandably question whether Judge Chutkan arrived at all of her decisions in this matter impartially, or in fulfillment of her prior negative statements regarding President Trump. Under these circumstances, the law and the overwhelming public interest in the integrity of this historic proceeding require recusal.

Trump’s lawyers then point out Chutkan’s statements, which the former president believes blames him for causing the Capitol Hill Riot:

He went to the Capitol because, despite election results which were clear-cut, despite the fact that multiple court challenges all over the country had rejected every single one of the challenges to the election, Mr. Palmer didn’t like the result. He didn’t like the result, and he didn’t want the transition of power to take place because his guy lost. And it is true, Mr. Palmer — you have made a very good point, one that has been made before — that the people who exhorted you and encouraged you and rallied you to go and take action and to fight have not been charged. That is not this court’s position. I don’t charge anybody. I don’t negotiate plea offers. I don’t make charging decisions. I sentence people who have pleaded guilty or have been convicted. The issue of who has or has not been charged is not before me. I don’t have any influence on that. I have my opinions, but they are not relevant.

The Dominican Republic will seal its border with Haiti in its northern Dajabon province if a conflict over access to water from a shared river is not resolved in the coming days, a government spokesperson said on Monday.

Speaking at a press conference later in the day, the Dominican president insisted a final decision on the possible border closure would not come until Thursday.

Dajabon is one of the few remaining functioning borders between Haiti and the Dominican Republic, which has been tightening its border security amid worsening gang warfare in Haiti.

The Dominican Republic will completely close off the border to land, maritime and air commerce if the conflict is not resolved by Thursday, Dominican authorities said in a statement earlier on Monday, adding new visas for Haitians would also be suspended.

Construction work on a canal diverting water from the Massacre River was launched unilaterally by Haitians without government support, the statement said, accusing its neighbor of a treaty violation.

[Yesterday was] the 22nd Anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center and Pentagon known as 9/11. A generation of 22-year olds has grown up after 9/11, and the event probably means nothing to them. They learn that it was an attack on America like the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, and 9/11 disappears into history.

It is unlikely that anyone under 40 is much concerned with 9/11. A 40-year old today would have been 18 in 2001 and would likely dismiss 9/11 concerns as conspiracy theory. Today’s youth are more likely to be marching in support of “various ubiquitous social issues” than wondering about the source and purpose of the 9/11 attack.

Over the years I have reported the mounting evidence provided by scientists and by architect Richard Gage‘s Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth until the organization he created removed him at the request of the government, effectively destroying the organization.

But for me the proof that 9/11 was an inside job has always been that no one in government and security agencies was ever held accountable for the worst humiliation ever inflicted on an alleged “superpower.”

Instead, it took a year before the White House even agreed to an official coverup with the 9/11 Commission, another in the long line of commissions like the Warren Commission that validates the official story. If a few young Saudi Arabians had actually defeated the entire national security apparatus of the United States, the White House would have been screaming, and heads would have rolled.

The neoconservatives had just called for a “new Pearl Harbor” so they could launch their wars of destruction of Israel’s enemies in the Middle East. They immediately blamed 9/11 on “Muslim terrorists” and began their invasions that halted only when Russia blocked the neoconservatives’ overthrow of Syria. So it is pretty clear who is responsible for 9/11 and why.

Many Americans today understand what really happened, but the government will never admit it. It takes decades for the truth to come out, and by then everyone affected by the event is dead, and the event becomes ancient history.

An article from CNN that’s based upon Walter Isaacson’s upcoming new bio, Elon Musk, says that Musk turned down the insistence from the governments of America and Ukraine to enable them to possibly destroy Russia’s largest naval base, which is in the Crimean region of Russia — a naval base that Ukraine claims to be Ukrainian territory though it had been Russian territory from 1783 to 1954 when the Soviet Leader Khrushchev arbitrarily transferred Crimea from Russia to Ukraine — and that Musk did it because Russia’s Government had told him that if such an invasion would succeed, then Russia would use any means necessary in order to defeat Ukraine, up to and including a nuclear attack against the United States itself.

In Russia’s view, Crimea is Russian territory again since the 16 March 2014 plebiscite produced more than 90% voting to rejoin Russia; and, so, any Ukrainian invasion of it would be a Ukrainian invasion of Russia. (Independent Gallup polling of Crimeans, done both before and after that plebiscite, likewise showed — both times — that over 90% of Crimeans wanted and supporting Crimea’s being returned to Russia.)

On September 8th, CBS News headlined “Elon Musk says he denied Ukraine satellite request to avoid complicity in ‘major act of war’ vs. Russia”, and reported that,

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has said that he prevented a Ukrainian attack on a Russian Navy base last year by declining Kyiv’s request to activate internet access in the Black Sea near Moscow-annexed Crimea. Satellite internet service Starlink, operated by Musk-owned company SpaceX, has been deployed in Ukraine since shortly after it was invaded by Russia in February 2022.

“There was an emergency request from government authorities to activate Starlink all the way to Sevastopol. The obvious intent being to sink most of the Russian fleet at anchor,” Musk posted Thursday on X, formerly named Twitter.

I review three recent papers:

Sep. 7, 2023 – Zurlo et al – The anti-SARS-CoV-2 BNT162b2 vaccine suppresses mithramycin-induced erythroid differentiation and expression of embryo-fetal globin genes in human erythroleukemia K562 cells

  • Italian researchers treated K562 stem cells with increasing concentrations of Pfizer COVID-19 mRNA vaccine
  • What are K562 stem cells? – K-562 are lymphoblast cells isolated from the bone marrow of a 53-year-old chronic myelogenous leukemia patient. The K-562 cell line is widely used in immune system disorder and immunology research.
  • What are lymphoblast cells? Immature white blood cells that develop into healthy immune cells called lymphocytes. In leukemia, lymphoblasts don’t mature, instead they multiply rapidly in bone marrow and interfere with all blood cell production.
  • researchers were able to inhibit the growth of stem cells as Pfizer dose increased
  • Spike protein levels also increased with higher Pfizer mRNA doses
  • Spike protein increased expression of pro-inflammatory genes through up-regulation of NF-kB
  • Spike protein drastically decreased expression of several globin genes
  • Spike protein suppressed erythroid differentiation of stem cells
  • The impact of SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein on cellular functions is of key interest
  • “searching for circulating Spike in plasma of COVID-19 patient might help in understanding unexpected adverse effects following COVID-19 mRNA vaccination”
  • Conclusion: “SARS-CoV-2 S-protein, COVID-19 mRNA vaccines and SARS-CoV-2 infection might have dramatic effects of the hematopoietic compartment
  • Conclusion: “need of great attention on possible alteration of hematopoietic parameters following SARS-CoV-2 infection and/or COVID-19 vaccination”

The hits just keep coming…

After spending a few days in India and Vietnam, Joe Biden on Monday arrived in Alaska to deliver remarks on 9/11.

The Regime sent Kamala Harris to Ground Zero to participate in the 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony in New York while Biden shuffled around in Alaska.

Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked White House staffers why Joe Biden won’t be attending the 9/11 ceremony.

White House staffers callously brushed off the question and said it has been 22 years since the Twin Towers were attacked and 3,000 Americans lost their lives so there is no point in Biden visiting the site of any of the attacks.

“When I asked a White House official why it is that President Biden was here and missing the 9/11 commemorations at the attack sites, the analogy that I was given is that 22 years after Pearl Harbor, U.S. presidents were not still going to visit Hawaii,” Peter Doocy said.

Biden’s shameful excuse is also a lie.

JFK visited the USS Arizona Memorial in 1963 and laid a wreath for those who perished in the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack.

We really don’t need to know anything more.

We already know that Joe Biden is corrupt.

He may not be Representative William Jefferson cash-in-the-freezer corrupt, or Governor Rod Blagojevich I’m-going-to-sell-this-Senate-seat corrupt. But he was complicit in an inherently corrupt enterprise that centered on selling access to him when he was a high official of the United States government who had incredible power and was entrusted with handling sensitive matters.

Consider Burisma, the corrupt Ukrainian energy company that paid his son lavishly to serve on its board. At any point, Biden could have shut down this operation to use his son to get to him, and at any number of junctures it should have been obvious — if it wasn’t all along — what was happening. Biden did nothing and, in fact, played along.

In other words, he made himself party to a grotesque influence-peddling scheme beneficial to his family. Is there any standard by which this is okay?

(I should mention that the catalyst for this piece was a conversation with Andy McCarthy on his podcast The McCarthy Report last week; Andy set everything out with his accustomed clarity.)

The quick version of the background on Burisma is that it was founded by Mykola “Nikolay” Zlochevsky, who had to go on the lam after the government of Viktor Yanukovych fell in the Maidan Revolution. The new government of Petro Poroshenko put Zlochevsky under investigation. (The practice of investigating and prosecuting officials of the prior regime is a common practice in shady parts of the world, and now, also, of course, the United States.)

New York City public schools are facing a wave of new students on the first day of the school year Thursday as the nation's largest district grapples with a massive influx of immigrants.

City officials were reportedly scrambling to enroll an estimated 19,000 immigrant students into the city's public schools, often while exempting them from vaccine requirements typically required of students.

The crisis in the nation's most populous city is unfolding as President Joe Biden and his administration have faced widespread criticism over their handling of the southern border crisis, which has seen millions of immigrants flow into border states from Central America.

In response, border state governors such as Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) began busing immigrants to major metropolitan areas such as New York City, Washington, D.C., and Chicago, with the Big Apple receiving more than 60,000 immigrants over the past year.

Amid the crisis, Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) and New York City Democratic Mayor Eric Adams have been calling on the Biden administration to assist the state and city with the thousands of immigrants. Adams, in particular, has asked the administration to grant work visas to allow the immigrants to work legally in the United States and has openly criticized the Biden administration for its handling of the immigrant crisis.

The New College of Florida kicked off the inaugural school year of its conservative makeover invigorated by a record freshman class enrollment but also dogged by growing pains and political fallout from a liberal exodus.

In January, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) appointed a slew of new trustees to the college's board representing a who's who of prominent conservative activists and scholars and tasked them with remaking the small Sarasota college into a bastion of conservative thought, a sharp reverse from the college's reputation as a sanctuary of left-wing and liberal views.

The radical changes were swift. By March, the board had fired the president of the college and hired Richard Corcoran, DeSantis's former education commissioner, to the position on an interim basis. Meanwhile, new trustee and Manhattan Institute senior fellow Chris Rufo proudly proclaimed that the new trustees were restoring classical liberal arts education to the college. In the ensuing months, the trustees would ban diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, establish a collegiate athletics program, vote to eliminate the school's gender studies department, and deny tenure to several New College professors.

The abrupt reorientation of the school infuriated the college's liberal professors and students who suddenly faced the reality that the college would no longer be the liberal oasis it had been. Faculty left in droves, and Hampshire College in Massachusetts offered New College students the opportunity to transfer while keeping their financial aid packages.

Democratic politicians and liberal pundits, meanwhile, blasted the changes at the college and accused the new trustees of violating academic freedom at the Florida college. Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) used the school as a backdrop to his budding rivalry with DeSantis by visiting the campus in April, decrying the college's shift in direction as "an unbelievable assault."

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has paid massive sums to private sector attorneys for their services, and a portion of those relate to investigating and prosecuting former President Donald Trump, according to county records.

Nathan Wade, Willis’s lead prosecutor in the case, has raked in more than half a million dollars from the Fulton County District Attorney's Office from January 2022 to August 2023, according to a payment history.

Christopher Campbell, Wade's colleague at Wade & Campbell Firm, has been paid $116,670 from April 2021 to August 2023, the same records show.

Terrence Bradley, a former colleague of Wade's, was paid $74,480 from May 2021 to June 2022, according to the records.

Wade, a defense attorney who can bill by the hour, was hand-picked by Willis roughly two years ago to serve as special prosecutor in the Trump case. Wade is a former Cobb County fill-in municipal court judge who ran for Cobb County Superior Court and was defeated in 2012, 2014, and 2016. Willis chose Wade over career prosecutors who work on salaries, and while the legalities of that have not been questioned at this stage, some, like Phil Holloway, an Atlanta-based attorney for more than two decades, have found the use of Wade to be "unorthodox."

What a disaster…

According to a Fox News report, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm headed out for an electric vehicle tour this summer and it couldn’t have gone much worse for her and her staff.

She even fought with a family at a charging station.

From Fox News:

Granholm’s staff got into a tiff with an unhappy family earlier this summer after her team tried to hold an electric vehicle charging spot by parking a gas car there, according to an NPR story from Sunday headlined, “Electric cars have a road trip problem, even for the secretary of energy.”

The four-day trip from North Carolina to Tennessee was “intended to draw attention to the billions of dollars the White House is pouring into green energy and clean cars.”

Granholm’s ambitious southern trip that was “painstakingly mapped out ahead of time to allow for charging,” however, drew the ire of one family in particular, due to a familiar problem for electric car vehicle drivers.

“But between stops, Granholm’s entourage at times had to grapple with the limitations of the present,” NPR’s Camila Domonoske, who accompanied her on the trip, wrote. After Granholm’s staff realized there weren’t enough charging spots for electric vehicles at a stop near Augusta, Ga., “an Energy Department staffer tried parking a nonelectric vehicle by one of those working chargers to reserve a spot for the approaching secretary of energy.”

“That did not go down well: a regular gas-powered car blocking the only free spot for a charger?” Domonoske continued.

The Biden administration has reportedly approved a deal with Iran to pay the rogue regime $6 billion in exchange for five detained American citizens.

The deal, according to the Associated Press (AP), entailed the Biden administration issuing a blanket waiver for international banks to transfer $6 billion in frozen Iranian money from South Korea to Qatar without U.S. sanctions. The money would then be held in Qatar’s central bank for Iran to use, reportedly for the purchase of humanitarian goods.
