"'Congress shall make no law respecting an institution of religion.' -- The First Amendment to the Constitution

A Nativity scene (or a Menorah for that matter) is not a law, it is a decoration. And on that basis, even though I myself am an atheist, I do not have a problem with Nativity scenes on government property, other than they are a reminder that those are the people we are bombing to steal their oil.

I do draw the line at the Ten Commandments being on display on government buildings with its prohibitions against lying, theft, and killing, as that hostile work environment!" -- Michael Rivero

An Ohio woman who died during a routine surgery performed by a controversial doctor was allegedly propped up to make her look alive in an effort to fool her family into believing she had survived the procedure, a lawsuit claims.

The family of Sheila Sue Trimble claims that the 65 year-old was in 'good health' when she entered Adena Health in Chillicothe for a heart catheterization on August 18. That procedure was a straightforward and routine one, the suit claims.

They allege that they were urged to turn off Trimble's life support, despite hospital staff knowing that she'd already died..

Records seen by local newspaper the Scioto Valley Guardian show Trimble died at 1pm, according to the suit. Her death certificate records her time of death as 3:05pm - the same time her family were ushered in, it is alleged.

In Facebook posts, several members say that Dr. Jarrod Betz - Trimble's cardiologist - repeated the claim that he cut into an artery during the original surgery.

Betz has previously faced investigations into accusations that he is not properly credentialed to perform complicated and advanced heart procedures.

Donald Trump called Joe Biden a 'wretched old vulture' and a 'rotten politician' trying to 'rape and pillage' American jobs in a speech to workers at a non-unionized auto plant on Wednesday night.

The former president and frontrunner in the GOP polls largely ignored the second presidential debate, instead launching an attack on Biden and his green policies he says are destroying U.S. manufacturing.

As his GOP rivals prepared to take the stage in California, Trump told workers at Drake Enterprises, a non-unionized auto parts supplier outside Detroit, that he'll protect their jobs, battle environmental 'lunatics' and said Biden was only interested in enriching his family.

'For decades you've watched rotten and crooked politicians like Biden treat American jobs as disposable and American workers as expendable. They sat back when we got rich by taking bribes to let other countries rape and pillage our jobs and our wealth,' he told the crowd.

Trump repeatedly urged the striking UAW union to endorse him. The union's boss Shawn Fain has repeatedly criticized the former president and he appeared at Joe Biden's side on the picket line in Michigan on Tuesday.

Fans of classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon 'The Jetsons' will know it is set in a comical future where flying cars are a common sight.

Meanwhile, cult 90s film 'The Fifth Element' depicts Brue Willis as a flying taxi driver, shuttling passengers around the skies of New York in the 23rd century.

But according to experts, the days of flying taxis being consigned to fiction will be over in just a few years.

Under a year from now, the first commercial air taxi will ferry visitors on trips around Paris at the 2024 Summer Olympics, finally heralding the arrival of the technology.

Sir Stephen Hillier, chair of the Civil Aviation Authority, thinks we are on the brink of a 'flying taxi' boom and the brink of a 'new revolution'.

U.S. Democrat Senator Bob Menendez pleaded not guilty Wednesday to bribery charges. Federal prosecutors have accused both Menendez and his wife of accepting cash and gold bars in exchange for assisting the Egyptian government and interfering in law enforcement investigations.

“I think he’s trying to pull one over on everybody,” said Paul Kamenar, counsel for the National Legal and Policy Center.

In a 39-page indictment, federal prosecutors allege they found over $480,000 in cash “stuffed into envelopes and hidden in clothing, closets, and a safe.” Menendez (D-N.J.), earlier in the week, told the press that much of that money was withdrawn from his savings to prepare for possible emergencies.

“For 30 years, I have withdrawn thousands of dollars in cash from my personal savings account for emergencies and because of the history of my family facing confiscation in Cuba,” Menendez said.

Kamenar is calling Menendez’s bluff though.

“When you look at his financial disclosure forms, which I did for the last 10 years, he had two accounts,” Kamenar explained. “One was his old Congressional savings account, and now his Senate account. And, yes, the House account dipped about $15-20,000.”

“But the Senate account went from the $50-100,000 range in 2013 to $100-250,000 in 2018,” Kamenar continued.

President Joe Biden’s visit to Michigan Tuesday amid the ongoing United Auto Workers (UAW) strike lays bare the ongoing fight between two reliable factions of the Democratic Party. This squabble has long-lasting implications that extend beyond current events, and every would-be Democratic standard bearer is caught betwixt and between with no easy way out.

At loggerheads are the unions and the greens. At first glance, the UAW demands resemble a typical union strike: higher pay (a 40% increase) in exchange for fewer hours (a 32-hour work week) and better benefits. These asks may seem exorbitant for those whose wages have been outpaced by Biden-fueled inflation. Or as one Washington Post columnist put it, "too big a slice of a soon-to-shrink pie."

The UAW fault lines go deeper than the old guard "workers versus executive" dispute. Underlying everything is the forced transition to electric vehicles handed down by Biden, California Gov. Gavin Newsom and other governors beholden to the green lobby. A government mandate of EVs is disrupting the flow of car makers’ manufacturing.

The Federal Trade Commission and 17 states have filed a high-profile antitrust lawsuit against Amazon that could force major changes to the popular Amazon Prime service — which would be bad news for its 167 million American members.

Tuesday’s move is hardly surprising.

After all, FTC Chair Lina Khan rose to prominence by calling for antitrust enforcement against Amazon when she was still a Yale University law student and has been a vocal critic of the company ever since.

Unfortunately, the case is reminiscent of Captain Ahab’s doomed pursuit of Moby Dick — it is guided more by desire and ideology than a reasonable assessment of the costs and benefits.

The result will be a wasteful battle all but guaranteed to founder in court.

The agency alleges the tech giant uses data from third-party retailers to bolster its own house brands; leverages its Amazon Prime service to undermine rival delivery networks; boosts its own products relative to other products “Amazon knows are of better quality”; and penalizes retailers who charge lower prices on rival platforms.

Extreme gender ideology has permeated every facet of our lives, from the cartoons my four-year-old watches to medicine. We’ve all heard the stories of bathroom bills aimed at protecting – or harming – girls depending on your political flavor, and institutions of higher learning attempting to alter the words we’ve accepted as appropriate vernacular for hundreds of years.

What isn’t reported on enough is just how deep the gender ideology rot has become and the repercussions this push to erase women can and will have in the future. This week, a group of scientists primarily in anthropology were unceremoniously canceled by the American Anthropological Association.

Set to speak on the importance of sex as a binary construct in their fields later this year, they were told in a two-paragraph letter that they no longer were welcome and, worse yet, that their presence would “cause harm.”

Make no bones about it: it’s not just women in the crosshairs of gender ideologists; science itself is also a prime enemy.

Things got weird on “The View” once again on Tuesday when Joy Behar claimed that America would be alright if Joe Biden were to die in office, adding that the country would not survive if Donald Trump were reelected to the White House.

Behar Sounds Off

Fox News reported that Behar made these comments during a segment in which she and her co-hosts discussed “media chatter” over Biden being 80 years-old and reports that his team are trying to make an effort to ensure that he doesn’t fall down again.

“The question is this, let’s say, God forbid, Joe Biden dies in office. Isn’t that still okay for the country? The country will survive it. But if Trump wins, the country will not survive it,” Behar said. “That’s a fact.”

A federal judge issued a permanent injunction Tuesday against a Texas law that would restrict and even criminalize drag performances, handing a legal victory to a local drag performer who joined four other plaintiffs in suing state leaders to block the law from taking effect.

In his lengthy 56-page ruling, U.S. District Judge David Hittner concluded his order by saying Senate Bill 12 “is an unconstitutional restriction on speech,” adding he believed it violates the First and Fourteenth Amendments. Hittner also wrote in his ruling that Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and several other officials cannot enforce the law. His decision also came after he issued two temporary restraining orders to provide more time to announce his final decision.

The American Civil Liberties Union of Texas, which helped represent the plaintiffs in this case, released a statement Tuesday afternoon celebrating the judge’s ruling.

The lawsuit claims the 2018 and 2022 state constitutional amendments regulating the times, places, and manner of federal elections are legally null and void.

The U.S. Constitution, Article I, Section 4 (the Elections Clause), requires the state legislature to regulate the times, places, and manner of federal elections. However, Michigan’s constitutional amendments (Proposal 3 of 2018 and Proposal 2 of 2022) bypassed the state legislature and, in doing so, usurped the legislature’s federally mandated constitutional authority.

Ukrainian troops are surrendering in droves, Russian TASS news agency claims, to the extent that Moscow has set up a special radio frequency so Ukrainian soldiers wishing to survive the Meat Grinder can do so safely.

Approximately 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers have surrendered to the Russians using the special 149.200 “Volga” radio frequency, which has been operating since mid-summer, TASS reported.

“Now more than 10,000 Ukrainian servicemen have already chosen life and used the 149.200 ‘Volga’ frequency to surrender. The captives are being fed; they are being provided with all necessary medical care,” a source told TASS, saying the radio frequency works along the entire front.

Owners of Apple's iPhone 15 Pro are checking the temperature of their new smartphones, claiming devices are heating up over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Several images of these temperature checks have been shared online, with one showing a silver iPhone 15 Pro that clocked in at 108 degrees.

The owner said he only used the smartphone for a five-minute call before it became too hot to handle

YouTubers are also testing the claims, with some finding the device hit 118 degrees.

Industry experts have suggested that the overheating is due to 'compromises made in the thermal system design to achieve a lighter weight.'

During the 1950s, the inactivated polio vaccine created by Jonas Salk was made using rhesus monkeys that were infected with SV40, a monkey virus that was later linked to cancer in humans.

From 1955 to 1963, hundreds of millions of people worldwide — in North and South America, Canada, Europe, Asia and Africa — received the vaccines, which at the time were heralded as a medical breakthrough.

In the archived 1956 video below, you can see a propaganda piece from that era, showing just how the ill-fated vaccine was made.

“Few back then grasped that these vaccines might also be a huge, inadvertent, uncontrolled experiment in interspecies viral transmission,” a 2004 article in The Lancet noted.

Burglaries targeting yachts and houseboats in the Oakland-Alameda Estuary have surged, prompting comparisons to the pirate movie "Captain Phillips."

The thieves not only steal valuable items but also sink the ships or discard the remnants of the plundered boats in the Oakland Harbor or along its shorelines. Dan Hill, a resident of the 800-foot waterway, estimates that each attack costs owners thousands to tens of thousands of dollars.

The boating community, feeling the impact of these crimes, has discussed arming themselves due to jurisdictional questions and a decline in law enforcement staffing levels. The Alameda side of the estuary is a popular boating area in San Francisco Bay, known for its pleasant weather and beautiful surroundings. However, since the summer, the presence of homeless encampments in and around Oakland has disrupted the lives of residents.

Hill describes the situation, saying, "We're in this little lagoon area, where the water comes in. There's a condo complex, beautiful parks. We started to see homeless people camping out there. That's never happened before. That being said, these guys are finding old abandoned boats, stealing them, and anchoring out illegal boats. And they're taking dinghies and riding around and stealing stuff off people's boats."

Webmaster addition: The globalists promised the world to immigrants who would simply walk across the border, and for a while, it was a great deal. But cities, states, and the nation have run out of money for illegal immigrants, so they are turning to crime.

The crowd at the second Republican presidential debate at the Reagan Library in California audibly groaned and booed former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie after he attacked former President Donald Trump for skipping the debate.

After answering a question about crime and using U.S. attorneys to prosecute criminals in Democrat-led cities, Christie pivoted to an attack on the former president. “And Donald Trump should be here to answer for that but he’s not,” Christie said before turning towards the camera.

“And I wanna look in the camera right now and tell ya’: Donald, I know you’re watching. You can’t help yourself,” Christie declared, drawing groans from the crowd. “And you’re not here tonight not because of polls, and not because of your indictments, you’re not here tonight, because you’re afraid of being on this stage and defending your record,” he continued.

“You’re ducking these things. And let me tell ya’ what’s gonna happen; you keep doing that, nobody up here is gonna call you Donald Trump anymore, we’re gonna call you Donald Duck,” Christie said before pausing in anticipation of cheers. Instead, he was met with groans and boos.

While visiting autoworkers in Michigan, former President Donald Trump was met with chants of “USA! USA!” when he pledged to roll back President Biden’s electric vehicle mandates and revitalize the gas-powered vehicle industry.

The Biden Administration has pledged to convert the federal government’s vehicle fleet from gas-powered to electric by 2030. As a result, automakers have received massive loans to produce electric vehicles.

The Biden Department of Energy announced this past June that it would loan Ford Motor $9.2 million in a joint venture to support the production of electric vehicle batteries across three factories in the United States, the largest such loan in the program office’s history.

Trump has long criticized the Biden Administration’s push towards electric vehicles, pointing to the fact that sales have not matched costs or administration demands. For example, Ford has said that it expects to lose roughly $3 billion in operating profit on its electric vehicle business this year. Executives are hopeful that profits from its gas-engine vehicles will be able to sustain the company until the program pays off.
