House Republicans have kicked off their own version of a Jan. 6 committee that will “reinvestigate” what happened at the U.S. Capitol in 2021. Georgia Republican Rep. Barry Loudermilk, the chairman of the committee, said they will “investigate both sides” and “show what really happened on Jan. 6.”

Several Republicans were issued subpoenas by the Democrat-led committee last year. Now, Republicans are debating turning up the heat on the woman responsible for selecting the panel: Nancy Pelosi.

Republicans previously sent Pelosi a letter asking why she did not do more to protect the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, including requesting National Guard deployments and a bulked-up Capitol Police presence.

“I’m gonna tell you the truth: Yes, I do,” said Georgia GOP Rep. Buddy Carter when asked if he believes Republicans should issue a subpoena to Pelosi.

Republican leaders of two key House committees have launched a probe into the Biden administration’s handling of fossil fuel leasing practices after a leaked “energy security” memo.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer and Natural Resources Chairman Bruce Westerman informed senior Department of the Interior official Laura Daniel-Davis of a probe in a letter. The correspondence criticized the DOI’s oil and gas leasing delays and Daniel-Davis’ recent memo prioritizing climate considerations over energy security. Seventeen House Republicans joined in signing the letter.

“The Biden Administration has obstructed America’s energy producers in an effort to force a radical Green New Deal agenda on the American people,” Comer told Fox News in a statement. “The Democrats’ ongoing war against America’s oil and gas industry has only driven energy prices higher and families across the country are paying the price.”

In May 2022, the country learned that it was Hillary Clinton’s campaign that was behind the entire Trump-Russia collusion hoax.  We know this because her former campaign manager Robbie Mook said so under oath during the Sussman trial.

The entire Trump-Russia collusion narrative was a lie.  The Democrats and media knew it was a lie.  We now know that the Hillary Clinton Campaign was behind the entire narrative.  Democrats used this in their attempted coup of the sitting president.  They jailed and bankrupted innocent men in their coup attempt.

It was all a lie and Hillary hatched the lie and then later promoted the lie.

On Tuesday, leading Republican presidential contender and 45th President Donald J. Trump announced a groundbreaking plan to end birthright citizenship for the children of illegal migrants.

"Joe Biden had launched an illegal foreign invasion of our country, allowing a record number of illegal aliens to storm across our borders. From all under the world, they came. Under Biden’s current policies, even though these millions of illegal border crossers have entered the country unlawfully, all of their future children will become automatic U.S. citizens," Trump said in a video release, posted to his Truth Social account this Tuesday. "Can you imagine? They’ll be eligible for welfare, taxpayer-funded healthcare, the right to vote, chain migration, and countless other government benefits, many of which will also profit the illegal alien parents. This policy is a reward for breaking the laws of the United States and is obviously a magnet helping draw the flood of illegals across our borders. They come by the millions and millions and millions.”

As I scoured through Crisis Magazine’s archive, I noticed there was not even a single mention of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.). So I thought that, given his recent announcement of his bid for the leadership of the Democratic Party, a piece about him would be of interest to Crisis readers.

His uncle, John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States, was assassinated in 1963. Five years later, in 1968, his father, Robert F. Kennedy, the former United States attorney general, who at the time was running for the Democratic presidential nomination, was also assassinated. His cousin, the son of JFK, also known as John-John or JFK Jr., who was an American attorney, journalist, and magazine publisher, tragically died in a plane crash in 1999. Needless to say, the Kennedy family has been marred by tragedy.

So, who is RFK Jr., and why should American voters care? I’ll sketch out the main reasons as to why I believe RFK Jr. could be a strong candidate beyond partisan lines for those who are looking to vote for a person beyond the disappointment of two political parties. At 69 years old, he’s the fourth member of the Kennedy family to run for the Democratic nomination for president. He is an environmental lawyer and the founder and chairman (currently on leave) of the Children’s Health Defense (CHD).

On May 20, 2022, Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager, Robby Mook, finally admitted that it was Hillary Clinton herself who had greenlighted her presidential campaign’s scheme to smear Donald Trump with Russia collusion claims. Mook’s admission, made during his testimony in Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann’s trial for lying to the FBI about Clinton’s scheme, marked the final chapter in a six year saga that ruined a presidency and turned the world order on its head.

It all began in early 2016 when Jennifer Palmieri, Director of Communications for the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign, received an email from Joel Johnson, a senior advisor to Bill Clinton. Johnson wrote: “who is in charge of the Trump swift boat project? Needs to be ready, funded and unleashed when we decide—but not a half assed scramble.” Palmieri sarcastically replied: “Gee. Thanks, Joel. We thought we could half-ass it. Let’s discuss.”

The exchange was buried in a huge trove of emails from Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta that were released by whistleblower group Wikileaks in October 2016. The significance of the two emails was largely overlooked at the time. It was only with hindsight, and the progressive unraveling of Hillary Clinton’s scheme to vilify Donald Trump, that their importance has become apparent.

Greg Reese’s latest video contains clips from a recent podcast with 90-year-old Socialist professor and activist, Frances Fox Piven, who is a big fan of the BLM protests and of The Squad and who is one of the creators of the Cloward-Piven Strategy to collapse our current Welfare system in order to usher in a national “solution” to poverty in the form of a Universal Basic Income.

Many people cannot fail to see that the US Government’s importation of millions of illegal migrants from the Southern Border appears to be the implementation of the Cloward-Piven Strategy.

The health/science unit for fifth graders at Founders Memorial School in Essex Junction, Vermont will now refer to individuals as “person who produces sperm” or “person who produces eggs” instead of using the terms “male” or “female.”

It is time for our science/health unit about the human body focused on puberty and the human reproductive systems. This unit will take place during the last few months of school. We will focus on the physical and emotional changes that occur during puberty and briefly introduce the basic structure and function of human reproductive systems. Students will be participating in whole group discussions and have private reflection time. There will also be three interview opportunities coming home throughout the unit.

The Biden administration's plan to discharge billions of dollars of student loan debt has been in limbo for months, blocked by lower courts and awaiting a decision from the conservative-majority Supreme Court.

The plan, which would provide up to $20,000 in debt relief to 43 million eligible people, is a significant political pledge made by President Joe Biden to energize younger voters. However, the Supreme Court has expressed skepticism about the administration's authority to forgive such a large amount of student debt, and the plan's fate now rests in the hands of the justices.

The court is set to rule on two cases related to the debt relief plan, among 30 other cases in its current term. The conservative justices have doubts about the plan's legality, which was announced by Biden in August and originally scheduled to take effect last fall. The challengers argue that the proposal violates the Constitution and federal law, partly because it circumvents Congress, which they say has the sole power to create laws related to student loan forgiveness.

Senator Dianne Feinstein, a Democrat from California, reportedly displayed confusion last year while observing Vice President Kamala Harris presiding over the Senate for a tie-breaking vote.

According to The New York Times, Feinstein, who is 89 years old, appeared unaware during one voting of why Harris, who had previously broken numerous ties, was taking up her role as President of the Senate. A witness in the report said Feinstein allegedly asked colleagues, "What is she doing here?"

With the Senate evenly split in a 50-50 majority for the first two years of the Biden administration, Democrats needed every member of their party plus Harris' tie-breaking vote to approve many bills and nominations. However, Feinstein's deteriorating memory was well-documented last year, with some lawmakers and former aides telling the San Francisco Chronicle that she can no longer fulfill her duties and represent California's nearly 40 million people without substantial assistance from aides.
