"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." -- Thomas Jefferson

From emails and photos to sworn testimony and FBI documents, the House impeachment inquiry has meticulously established that Joe Biden met in person with many of his son's large foreign clients, including Russian, Chinese and Ukrainian business executives.

That evidence mounts as lawmakers try to debunk the president's claims he had nothing to do with his family's business.

"Hunter Biden offered nothing of value to any of these foreign nationals. The only thing he had a value was his father, who was the sitting vice president of the United States and someone that they hope would be president someday," House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer told the "Just the News, No Noise" television show Tuesday night after an explosive impeachment inquiry interview earlier in the day with former Biden business partner Tony Bobulinski.

Asked how many of the large foreign clients who paid Hunter Biden's businesses millions did not meet with his father, Comer answered: "I haven't found a single person."

You’re probably familiar with Johnson & Johnson family products. I remember using it as a child and well into my teen years. But what I, and many people to this day didn’t know, was that their products contain cancer-causing ingredients.

Although Johnson & Johnson labels their bath products as being “baby safe,” they have recently faced lawsuits and public outrage over their baby products and the ingredients they use.

Questionable Ingredients

The Environmental Working Group, a non-profit environmental research organization, describes the dangers of the ingredients used in Johnson & Johnson products. These ingredients include quaternium-15 and 1,4-dioxane.

Quaternium-15 is a formaldehyde-releasing preservative, and well-known carcinogen that causes burning sensations in the eyes, nose and throat; watery eyes; wheezing; nausea; and skin irritation. Daily exposure is linked with leukaemia and brain cancer.

In fact, the North American Contact Dermatitis Group considers quaternium-15 to be among the most clinically significant contact allergens in children.

Other formaldehyde-releasing chemicals used by Johnson & Johnson include DMDM hydantoin, imidazolidinyl urea, and diazolidinyl urea.

1,4-dioxane is another carcinogen that causes vertigo upon inhalation, as well as drowsiness, headache, anorexia, and irritation of the eyes, nose, throat and lungs. It also causes skin irritation upon contact. This chemical is also a by-product of ingredients like PEG-100 stearate, sodium laureate sulphate, sodium myreth sulphate, polyethylene and ceteareth-20.

The State of Texas has launched a lawsuit against Pfizer and its drug manufacturer, Tris Pharma, after evidence revealed the companies sold ADHD medication to children even though they knew the drug was ineffective and caused brain damage.

The suit, filed by Attorney General Ken Paxton in the Harrison County District Court, claims that Pfizer knowingly distributed a drug used for treating (ADHD) to children on Medicaid – despite the drug’s extremely harmful side effects.

A star witness in the Fani Willis case has admitted he was accused of sexual assault by a law firm colleague, contradicting his previous evidence and leaving the judge 'wondering' about earlier testimony he provided on the DA's affair.

Terrence Bradley, a former law partner of Nathan Wade and who represented the Trump prosecutor during his divorce, admitted on Friday afternoon that he resigned from the firm largely because of the allegations made by his co-worker.

The confession opened questions about Bradley's credibility and his knowledge of the romantic relationship between the Georgia DA and Wade, whom Willis hired in the election interference case against Donald Trump

Bradley testified earlier that the reason he left the firm was related to Wade's divorce proceedings and refused to answer what he knew about the relationship between Willis and Wade citing attorney-client privilege.

A Houston college student sentenced for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021 breach at the U.S. Capitol is one of the alleged victims of a FBI agent who was indicted for theft.

Alexander Fan was sentenced to 12 months probation for trespassing during a sentencing hearing on Friday. His attorney, Mark Thering, said he pleaded guilty and expressed genuine remorse in a statement to the court.

Fan's home was searched after his arrest in June 2023. Court records filed ahead of the hearing state, "the next day, Fan reported to the FBI that some items--including cash and silver bars--had gone missing from his bedroom. These items were not seized pursuant to the warrants."

France’s decision to block the French-language Telegram channel of the TASS news agency shows that they want to stop any information coming from Russia, the embassy in Paris said.

"No sooner had the ink on the Viginum agency’s report on ‘the pro-Russian propaganda network’ dried than the French authorities took action to unveil the objectives of this biased anti-Russian initiative. Access has been denied to the French-language Telegram channel of TASS, the 100-year-old and world-renowned news agency, as well as a number of other online resources, which were mentioned in the document, meant for the francophone audience. It is now totally evident that this Russophobic narrative was designed solely as a pretext to cut off any information coming from Russia," the Russian embassy emphasized.

The embassy pointed out that the French authorities are heading towards "establishing a ‘Ministry of Truth’ (in the dystopian novel ‘1984’ such a ministry is in charge of falsifying historical events) and are trying to authorize themselves to decide on behalf of their citizens what kind of information is suitable for them and which is not."

In the latest signal of his resolve to stem the flow of illegal immigrants into the United States, Texas Governor Greg Abbott on Friday announced that the Lone Star State will build a military base along the Rio Grand at the border city of Eagle Pass.

Spanning 80-acres, "Forward Operating Base Eagle" will house upwards of 1,800 Texas National Guard soldiers supporting Operation Lone Star, and will be expandable to house 2,300. Texas Maj. Gen. Thomas Suelzer said the camp will have 300 beds by mid-April, and will add another 300 beds every month after that.

Claire's Observations:  this is a significant escalation, on the part of Texas, and one which  the Bidenistas are going to just hate;  the question is, what will they attempt to do, as this evolves, and how will the state of Texas respond to such moves from the Feds?!?

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky have signed a security pact under which Berlin will supply Kiev with military and economic aid for another ten years.

Inked on Friday, the agreement commits Germany to providing “unwavering support for Ukraine for as long as it takes in order to help Ukraine defend itself” and restore its 1991 borders. In addition to retaking the regions of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson, and Zaporozhye, this feat would also involve the seizure of Crimea from Russia, which some American officials and Kiev’s former military chief view as next to impossible.

On top of military aid, the plan binds Germany to training Ukrainian police officers, transferring weapons manufacturing technology, paying for green energy projects, and a range of other efforts to help the Ukrainian government “continue providing services to its people”

A negotiated settlement to end the conflict between Ukraine and Russia is both possible and desirable, a report published by the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft said.

Former CIA analyst George Beebe and Eurasia expert Anatol Lieven, the authors of the 43-page paper, believe that it is possible to reach a compromise by diplomatic means.

"Conventional wisdom holds that a negotiated end to the Ukraine war is neither possible nor desirable. This belief is false. It is also extremely dangerous for Ukraine’s future," the US think tank highlighted in the report.

On February 16, Alexei Navalny, widely known as a Russian opposition politician, died in the colony in Siberia. The official cause of death has not yet been announced, the investigation is ongoing; but the West has already apointed its culprit.

According to official reports from the colony, the prisoner suddenly felt ill during a walk. Navalny “almost immediately lost consciousness,” medical workers were sent to him, and “an ambulance crew was also called.” The doctors carried out “all the necessary resuscitation measures, which did not give positive results.” The doctors who arrived pronounced him dead. According to preliminary data, the cause of death could be a thrombus.

The infamous politician Navalny was a flamboyant figure widely touted in the West by the MSM as the “main freedom fighter” in Russia. In fact, the oppositionist was imprisoned several times not for his political struggle, but for ordinary financial fraud, non-compliance with court requirements and violations of the criminal code.

The US does not believe Russia poses a direct threat to NATO’s eastern flank in the near future, White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told Polish news outlet Interia on Friday.

Kirby was asked about the possibility of a full-scale war between NATO and Russia, after recent Western claims of Moscow’s supposed threat to the US-led bloc.

“We do not see such an imminent threat at the moment,” Kirby said. “Now, of course, Russia is focused, not to say trapped, in Ukraine. We do not see a direct threat to NATO, to the eastern flank, we do not see it at the moment.”

At the same time, Kirby noted that Moscow opposes the strengthening and expansion of NATO, and that Russia treats the Ukraine conflict as a confrontation with the West and the US in particular. “That is why we are consistently strengthening our presence on NATO’s eastern flank. The president [Joe Biden] has sent an additional 25,000 [American] troops to Europe,” the spokesman stated.

A New York judge has temporarily barred former US President Donald Trump from running his businesses in the state and ordered him and his organization to pay $354 million in fraud damages for submitting false business reports.

Friday’s civil court ruling by Judge Arthur Engoron includes a three-year ban on Trump serving as an officer or director of any New York business, including the Trump Organization. Trump and his company were also barred from applying for any bank loans in New York. The monetary damages were imposed on the ex-president and other Trump Organization executives, including his two eldest sons.

Trump and his business associates were accused of using exaggerated asset valuations to obtain favorable terms on loans and insurance policies. Engoron acknowledged in his ruling that all of the loans in question were paid back in full and on time, but he argued that the absence of a victim “does not extinguish the harm that false statements inflict on the marketplace.” He added, “The next group of lenders to receive bogus statements might not be so lucky.”

Ursula von der Leyen, the European Commission president, has some disturbing skeletons in her family wardrobe.

Her political roots in Nazi Germany account for the insane war-driven agenda of the European Union toward Russia under her stewardship and her total subservience to the U.S. imperialist objective to defeat Moscow.

Author Evan Reif explains how her politician-father Ernst Albrecht packed his regional government with unreconstructed Nazis and former Wehrmacht officers when he was governor of Lower Saxony in the 1980s.

The last few years have been years of miscalculation for the West. Big things have been planned and put into action, and failed. All the wars, all the sanctions, all domestic and economic ‘initiatives’, and all responses to what the adversaries have done are failing or have already failed. In fact, the failure of any venture by the West has become almost guaranteed. This has a lot of people scratching their heads – they simply can’t fathom how this can happen.

At the same time the real goals of the western political class have come under increased scrutiny. Everything they do seems to be designed to make things worse for western societies on all levels, including economic, social, health, and so on and so forth. Why, exactly, is that?

It is like incompetence and malice have conspired to create the worst situation imaginable.

Recently I wrote a piece where I suggested that the western ruling class undergoes a filtering process to ensure that they have the right personality and attitudes for their task of deconstructing western societies. I furthermore suggested that this filtering process results in a pool of ruling elites who are either narcissists or forced to behave as such to keep their jobs.
