The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Friday approved the first treatment in the United States to utilize the novel gene-editing technology Crispr.

European Union policymakers have agreed on a broad new set of rules to govern artificial intelligence.

The EU agreement represents one of the world’s first comprehensive initiatives to control the use of the rapidly expanding technology with far-reaching social and economic repercussions.

The A.I. Act establishes a new worldwide standard for governments wishing to capitalize on the potential advantages of artificial intelligence while guarding against potential concerns such as job automation, internet disinformation, and national security threats. The bill still has to go through a few additional processes before it can be approved, but the political accord implies that its broad contours have been established.

Germany, France, and Italy have argued against actively regulating generative AI models, dubbed “foundation models,” instead supporting self-regulation by the corporations behind them via government-mandated codes of behavior.

Their fear is that excessive regulation would limit Europe’s capacity to compete with Chinese and American leaders in technology. DeepL and Mistral AI, two of Europe’s most promising AI businesses, are based in Germany and France.

The current head of the Rothschild banking dynasty has called for governments around the world to usher in so-called “cashless societies” that will be controlled by artificial intelligence (AI) for “the common good.”

Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild insists that the World Economic Forum-developed plan is essential for promoting “equity” to “save the poor.”

In order to “save capitalism,” Rothschild is demanding that governments radically change their economies.

Rothschild is one of the founding leaders of the Council for Inclusive Capitalism (CIC), which was formed at the height of the Covid pandemic.

A three-judge panel has blocked major parts of New York state’s anti-gun law while allowing the state to create “sensitive sites” that limit where legal gun owners can carry.

However, the panel’s 261-page decision gave its thumbs-down to the state’s attempt to bar gun owners from carrying guns into churches, synagogues and other places of worship.

The ruling noted that its decision is not likely to be the last word as litigation continues that could include appeals to the U.S. Supreme Court. The ruling notes that it was focused on a request by Gun Owners of America and other plaintiffs for a preliminary injunction to block the law, not a review of the law itself.

The law required that anyone seeking a handgun permit appear for an interview with an official to ensure that they are of good moral character. The appeals court said the requirement “is not facially unconstitutional. A reasoned denial of a carry license to a person who, if armed, would pose a danger to themselves, others, or to the public is consistent with the well-recognized historical tradition of preventing dangerous individuals from possessing weapons.”

Senate Judiciary Committee Dick Durbin (D-IL) refused to commit to subpoenaing the flight records of convicted child sex predator Jeffrey Epstein — and suggested that no one had yet asked him to do so.

Epstein was questioned by Fox News correspondent Hillary Vaughn on Capitol Hill this week after Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) pushed to subpoena the flight records.

“Chairman Durbin, can I ask you a quick question?” Vaughn asked. “Why won’t you subpoena Jeffrey Epstein’s flight logs?”

“I don’t know anything about his flight logs,” Durbin claimed.

“But why don’t you subpoena them?” she pressed. “Why don’t you want to know?”

During a House Oversight Committee hearing, U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett referred to Texas and Florida as “deplorable states,” criticizing the Heritage Foundation for influencing legislation in those states.

The hearing was paused as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene moved to strike the comment from the record, but it was ultimately kept.

Crockett also insinuated that Republican power is due to gerrymandering and accused red states of denying transgender individuals their rights.

The watchdog group Judicial Watch has done a deep dive into the voter rolls of Washington, DC and some other places and found an absolute mess.

In Washington, DC, eligible voters are registered at a rate of 131%, violating standards of basic math.

It’s probably just an oversight, right? It couldn’t be a problem of fraud or anything nefarious.

A few weeks ago, from an international and domestic-U.S. public relations standpoint, Israel might have been able to bring its war in Gaza in for a hard landing. Now it has painted itself into a corner.

Gaza has been destroyed. By this time next year, so will Israel — not its physical plant, but its current status as a privileged, funded, protected nation-state.

The damage inflicted thus far is so severe and thorough that the Gaza Strip will be uninhabitable for the foreseeable future, at least several years. All or most of its 2.3 million residents, transformed into refugees, will be permanently displaced.

Reiner Fuellmich, the Germany attorney, who was about to file charges against the pharmaceutical companies for deaths and injuries from the Covid “vaccine,” was kidnapped in Mexico by the German government and placed in solitary confinement in Germany on obviously false charges in order to prevent the lawsuit. Barry Young, the New Zealand Covid database administrator who released the official data showing that the alleged “vaccine” was a deadly killer, has been arrested for revealing the truth.

In 2021, I covered the trial of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer convicted of murdering George Floyd, for American Renaissance. Now, a documentary about the trial and the effects of Floyd’s death on policing in Minneapolis has been released. The Fall of Minneapolis was produced by investigative reporter Liz Collin, who based the film on her book They’re Lying: The Media, The Left and the Death of George Floyd. The Fall of Minneapolis premiered on Rumble on November 16. As of December 7, it had more than three million views, 6,500 likes, and only 31 dislikes. Released on YouTube on November 23, by the same date it had 478,000 views and 13,000 likes. The film uses interviews with several Minneapolis police officers (including Derek Chauvin and Alex Kueng, the black officer also convicted in Floyd’s death), news reels, and trial footage, to give a police officer’s view of the 2020 BLM riots.

Palestinians have become sand in the eyes of the Mideast. How did this happen? From where did they come?

In the early 1950’s, my mother, a journalist and lecturer, went to Palestine sponsored by a number of US newspapers and, secretly, by the US State Department.

Newly founded Israel’s official position was that Palestine – and particularly the fertile Galilee region – was a ‘land without people for a people without land (meaning Jewish immigrants).’

My mother discovered hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refugees living in huts made from tin cans or cardboard boxes. There were some tents erected by foreign aid agencies and the United Nations. The refugees were huddled together in the biting cold. Many were near starvation.

In summary, Esaver Watt is a fraudulent scam operation that uses misleading claims, paid ads, fake reviews, and non-existent celebrity endorsements to peddle useless power savings devices for $49.

The cheap electrical components inside Esaver Watt provide no real electricity bill reduction as heavily touted in its deceptive marketing. At best, Esaver Watt is an overpriced LED light with a placebo effect. At worst, it’s an electrical hazard and fire risk.

Do not trust anything promoted by Esaver Watt. Their promises of slashing your electricity bills by 40% with a simple plug-in device are patently false. No magic scaler can override your actual energy usage.

In case you hadn’t noticed, the liberal media, and the liberal Establishment behind it, hates “right-wing extremists.” Since 2016, when Trump was elected on a control-the-borders platform, “right-wing extremism” has replaced “Islamic terrorism” as the new bogeyman. Don’t like mandatory vaccines and COVID lockdowns? You’re a “right-wing extremist” and deserve to be censored. Don’t like censorship? You’re defending “right-wing extremists” so you must be one yourself. Don’t like the war on Russia? You must be a “right-wing extremist” like Putin, who is the new Hitler because he doesn’t like LGBTQ indoctrination and mandatory sex change surgery for toddlers.

In the past, being antiwar, pro-free-speech, pro-civil-liberties, and pro-alternative-medicine put you on the left side of the spectrum. Now those are all signs of “right-wing extremism.”

What’s so terrible about all this “right-wing extremism”? Ultimately, it’s all about the Nazis. If you are pro-free-speech, you’re giving a platform to Nazis. If you support the COVID dissidents, you must like that one guy with the swastika tattoo at the rally where RFK Jr. spoke. And if you don’t support the war on Russia, and refuse to click your heels and sig heil for Zelensky, it must be because you are a follower of the new Hitler, Vladimir Putin.

Lack moral clarity? The presidents stood up for free speech, which is exactly what they should be doing. [Billionaire Harvard donor Bill] Ackman’s position is a complete mess – he doesn’t want these women running the Ivy league because they are DEI hires and he wants Jews protected as a DEI protected class and he wants free speech protections on campus but not for Palestinians. None of that makes any sense. The only way to explain his position in the most crude but consistent way possible is that as a Jew he wants Jews running the Ivy league for the benefit of Jews, as was the case about two to three years ago. Naturally as a Jew he wants to turn back the clock to the very recent past when people like Amy Gutmann and Larry Bercow were running Penn and Harvard, the sort of people who he understands and can call on the phone. Magill and Gay are not his kind of people and he can’t call them on the phone and he wants them gone. That’s all there is to it.

Washington D.C. officials have been compelled to comply with legal threats from a judicial watchdog and is now purging its voter rolls of over 100,000 ineligible names.

“We sent notice letters to election officials in the District of Columbia, California, and Illinois, notifying them of evident violations of the National Voter Registration Act(NVRA) of 1993, based on their failure to remove inactive voters from their registration rolls,” Judicial Watch announced on Friday.

“In response to our inquiries, Washington, DC, officials admitted that they had not complied with the NVRA, promptly removed 65,544 outdated names from the voting rolls, promised to remove 37,962 more, and designated another 73,522 registrations as ‘inactive’,” the announcement noted.

A new systematic review has been published in Archives of Disease in Childhood, one of the journals of the British Medical Journal, by Sandlund et al. titled ‘Child mask mandates for COVID-19: a systematic review‘.

Since no randomised controlled trials have even been conducted on child mask-wearing or mask mandates, the authors systematically reviewed observational studies and included 22 in the final analysis: six found child mask mandates were associated with lower rates of infection; the other 16 didn’t.

But the studies that found they didn’t weren’t just greater in quantity; they were higher quality too.

Of the six studies reporting a significant negative correlation between masking and COVID-19 cases, five had critical and one had serious ROB [risk of bias].

Of the 16 studies failing to find a significant correlation, one (6.3%) had critical, 10 (62.5%) had serious, five (31.3%) had moderate and none had low ROB. [emphasis added here and below]

 The U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) conducted a joint military exercise with the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) on Thursday in an apparent effort to deter socialist Venezuela from invading the the South American country.

Hunter Biden on Friday claimed that Republicans are trying to “kill” him to destroy his father’s presidency, and the corruption allegations against him “literally have every earmark of what the Russians did.”

“I have continued to be under investigation for now five years for all of these conspiracy theories and things,” Biden told left-wing musician Moby on his podcast, “Moby Pod.”

The interview came out a day after he was charged with nine federal tax crimes in Los Angeles.

The charges, which include evasion of taxes, failure to file/pay taxes, and false/fraudulent tax return, were brought by Special Counsel David Weiss in the Central District of California. The 56-page court filing details Hunter’s “four-year scheme” to avoid paying over $1 million in tax obligations and to file false returns.

Weiss has thus far steered clear of charging Hunter for anything related to the Biden family’s influence-peddling operation that could implicate Joe Biden, including bribery, money laundering and registered foreign agent (FARA) violations.

Every school child in Colorado is taught about the Sand Creek Massacre of 1864. On a wintry day in November of that year, an untrained and undisciplined territorial militia attacked an Indian camp near the eastern border of the territory leaving 150 to 200 dead. The tragedy has long been the subject of roiling debate about who or what was to blame. When the History Colorado Center opened a new exhibit on the event in 2012, visitors were offered competing perspectives of Indian, soldier, and settler.

The exhibit was immediately assailed by native activists for not taking an exclusively “indigenous perspective.” They demanded “co-authorship” of the exhibit, which was shut down. Last year, a revised exhibit opened, greased by a $400,000 federal grant. The History Colorado Center announced proudly that the entire show had been “vetted and approved by tribal representatives.” The Denver Post enthused that “there are no detached experts on local history telling the story about how things happened.”

The result is a farce. It portrays the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes whose members were killed that day as peaceable spiritualists who spent their days nurturing family and staring at the skies. Malicious whites out to steal their land and commit genocide set upon them unprovoked. The whole thing just goes to show the need for “contemporary sovereignty” for native Americans as well as billions in reparations for centuries of harms.
