"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of a higher obligation…To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus, absurdly sacrificing the ends to the means." -- Thomas Jefferson

The USS Liberty was an attack on America that President Johnson was willing to cover up for political gain, but he was not alone. More well-known names like Amiral John McCain had a hand in this sinister cover-up, but those lambs were the brave sailors of the USS Liberty.

President Joe Biden’s son was in federal court, prepared to plead guilty to misdemeanor tax offenses. The culmination of a sprawling investigation, the deal between Hunter Biden and prosecutors was going to spare him a politically explosive trial in the middle of his father’s reelection campaign and likely prison time.

But it all fell apart.

Now, Hunter Biden is headed to trial on federal gun charges in a case brought by his father’s Justice Department at a time when America’s political and legal worlds are colliding like never before. Dogged for years by investigations, scrutinized over his troubled personal life and vilified by Republicans, the younger Biden is now also confronting the threat of felony convictions and time behind bars.

The case opening Monday with jury selection in Delaware is not about Hunter Biden’s business dealings, which have been the focus of the yearslong federal investigation and Republicans’ fruitless impeachment inquiry into the Democratic president. It’s about a gun Hunter Biden had for about 11 days — a .38-caliber Colt Cobra Special. Prosecutors say he bought it illegally in October 2018 because he falsely swore on a federal form that he was not a drug user. He never fired the gun, according to his lawyers, and it ended up dumped in a trash can.

The litany of grim medical conditions allegedly caused by Ozempic and similar weight-loss drugs are laid bare in a landmark court case which claims thousands of patients have suffered life-threatening side-effects.

Some users have been left bedridden after using the drugs while others are in constant pain and may never consume solid food again.

One patient who used Mounjaro, Eli Lilly's flagship diabetes and weight-loss drug, told DailyMail.com she can no longer consume solid foods and will likely receive nutrition and fluid through a tube directly into her small intestine for the rest of her life.

'It's devastated my life,' said Meredith Hotchkiss, 56.

Conditions linked to Ozempic, Mounjaro and similar drugs include gastroparesis, bowel obstruction and intestinal blockage. Attorneys allege the drugs have also caused 'malnutrition, dehydration, neurological disorders, and even death'.

Just before the jury returned a guilty verdict in corrupt Judge Juan Merchan’s kangaroo court, without even specifying what crime President Trump committed, Fox News host Jesse Watters highlighted serious concerns about communist New York Judge Juan Merchan.

The Gateway Pundit reported that GOP Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY) filed a misconduct complaint with the New York State Unified Court System related to the “random” assignment of far-left radical and conflicted Judge Juan Merchan to Trump’s NYC ‘hush money’ trial.

Stefanik announced, “I just filed an official misconduct complaint with the New York State Unified Court System related to the “random” assignment of Acting Manhattan Justice Juan Merchan, a Biden donor whose daughter is fundraising millions off his unprecedented work, to criminal cases against President Donald J. Trump, his companies, and his allies.”

Stefanik is not the only one raising questions about the “random” assignment of crooked Judge Juan Merchan as the judge to oversee the Trump Bragg case.

Trump attorney Alina Habba also raised concerns that Merchan was also “randomly” chosen to oversee the Steve Bannon case, the Allen Weisselberg case and now the President Donald Trump case.

Watters discussed how fishy the appointment was.

ABC News' George Stephanopoulos clashed with Trump attorney Will Scharf over his hush money conviction on Sunday, with the anchor threatening to cut the lawyer's mic.

Scharf appeared as Trump and his team went on a media blitz Sunday in the wake of the ex-president being found guilty on 34 counts Thursday.

The attorney pushed a familiar line for the defense on ABC's This Week, that the conviction is the result of collusion between Joe Biden and the progressive Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, who prosecuted the case.

Stephanopoulos dismissed this line of thinking: 'Of course, the attorney general of Manhattan has nothing to do with the Department of Justice.'

'I vehemently disagree that the district attorney in New York was not politically motivated here, and I vehemently disagree that President Biden and his political allies aren't up to their necks in this prosecution,' Scharf responded.

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has criticised US president Joe Biden in a rare rebuke, claiming that the US' decision to allow Ukraine to attack Russia with American weapons doesn't go far enough.

While Zelensky, speaking at Asia's top security summit in Singapore, thanked Biden for allowing Ukraine to strike limited Russian territory with US arms, he said restrictions need to be dropped.

The US last week gave Ukraine permission to use American missiles to fire in to Kharkiv, where Russian troops have been building up in numbers. But this is the only area they are allowed to fire into, and Ukraine is only allowed to fire certain weapons.

Zelensky said: 'Is that sufficient? No. Why? Because I have given you the example of airfields from which Russia is permanently firing, in calm, knowing that Ukraine will not fire back because it has no corresponding systems and no permissions.'

He said that Russia has the advantage with the restrictions put on Ukraine, as its armies can carry on using artillery and long-range weapons to hit civilian infrastructure.

Recent reports reveal that Senator Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona has utilized over $200,000 in taxpayer funds for private air travel since 2020. The Daily Beast disclosed in January that Sinema incurred $116,000 in private plane expenses in 2023, charged to her Senate office budget.

Taxpayers have allegedly footed a bill of approximately $210,000 for Sinema’s air travel since 2020. Despite being elected as a Democrat in 2018 and subsequently switching to an independent, Sinema reportedly did not conduct any publicly accessible, in-person town hall meetings while accumulating these expenses, as per Fox News.

The US Department of State lied to Congress when it said Israel was not restricting the flow of aid into Gaza, a former official has claimed after resigning in protest.

Stacy Gilbert served in the State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration for 20 years. She left her job as a senior adviser on Tuesday, citing objections in relation to a 46-page memo titled NSM-20, which was provided to US lawmakers on May 10, she told Reuters and The Guardian.

In the memo, the State Department said Israel had not breached a US law that prohibits the provision of arms to nations that restrict American humanitarian aid.

Gilbert was one of the experts consulted for the report and says the conclusion did not correspond to reality.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) is proposing a ban on cellphones in New York schools as part of a broader effort to address youth mental health issues and curb teens’ use of social media.

Hochul announced her intentions on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, emphasizing that excessive phone use during school hours detracts from students’ education. “Why are our young people on their devices all day long during school hours?” Hochul asked. “You don’t have to be in the world of social media throughout the day.”

The details of the proposal, which she plans to introduce in the next legislative session starting in January, remain vague. However, Hochul noted the importance of protecting kids’ mental health and suggested low-tech alternatives like flip phones without internet access to ensure parents can still communicate with their children in emergencies.

A federal judge derided an apparent effort to get the judge overseeing former President Trump’s criminal classified documents case removed, arguing the Florida judge appeared to be the victim of an "orchestrated campaign."

Judge Aileen Cannon was the target of more than 1,000 complaints in a single week last month, with critics accusing her of intentionally stalling the criminal case against Trump until after the election, according to a report from CNBC.

But 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals Chief Judge William Pryor shot down the effort, saying in a May 22 order that he "has considered and dismissed four of those orchestrated complaints as merits-related and as based on allegations lacking sufficient evidence to raise an inference that misconduct has occurred."

The UN humanitarian mission in the Gaza Strip says the Israeli assault on Rafah has forced nearly 2 million refugees to flee once again.

"Thousands of families have been forced to flee due to Israeli military operations," the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) said in a statement. "An estimated 1.7 million people have been displaced to Khan Younis and central areas of the Gaza Strip."

Taisha Simon had heard of people stealing money the federal government gives families to buy groceries, but she didn't realize she would become one of their victims.

It happened last June when the 42-year-old mother headed out for the big shop she does at the beginning of each month after getting $939 in US food aid for her and her four children.

Her vulnerability, as it turns out, was a plastic, government-provided debit card that relies on outdated technology. The government uses Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards to issue food and cash assistance, and cardholders use them at the point of sale to pay for groceries.

When Simon checked out at her local Aldi's, her cart full of canned food and vegetables, nothing was left on her card. She paid for what she could out of pocket, but that fell far short of what her family needed.

"I cried every day because my 5-year-old has autism and my 17-year-old has ADHD and ODD and they have food sensitivity," said Simon, who works as an assistant manager at a retail store. "I wasn't able to feed them the way they were normally used to eating."

Simon's experience, unfortunately, isn't uncommon. It's part of a growing trend of identity theft targeting the 42 million lower-income Americans who rely on EBT cards to receive their government food and cash assistance.

"This is a really crummy crime," said Justin King, policy director at Propel, which provides a free mobile app for EBT cardholders. "You're stealing this money from these people, my heavens. This is devastating for folks who are on the edge already."

WHO director-general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and other globalists were met with failure at the May 27-June 1 World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland. Rather than win over critics with reassurances ahead of the next stage of his campaign to promote the failed scheme, Ghebreyesus instead doubled down, urging a crackdown on skeptics.

Road to failure

Ghebreyesus has spent several months promoting his "global pandemic agreement."

In his Feb. 12 Dubai address, entitled, "A Pact with the Future: Why the Pandemic Agreement Is Mission-Critical for Humanity," Ghebreyesus said, "We cannot allow this historic agreement, this milestone in global health, to be sabotaged by those who spread lies, either deliberately or unknowingly."

The critics whom Ghebreyesus branded liars and conspiracy theorists include those who reckon the pact would undermine national sovereignty as well as those skeptical of the WHO's competence. In the latter case, the WHO did itself no favors in recent years, particularly during the pandemic.

After all, the organization reportedly aided the Chinese communist regime in its cover up of COVID-19's origins; told the nations of the world not to restrict travelers from China or close their borders even though China had domestically; granted Beijing a veto over the WHO's COVID-19 origins report; and it endorsed vaccines that were not nearly as safe or as effective as advertised, including the blood clot-inducing Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine whose developer now faces a class-action lawsuit over injuries in the United Kingdom as well as a recent lawsuit in Utah. Prior to the pandemic, it also courted controversy with its sexual abuse scandal, wasteful spending, and corruption.

Ok folks, time for some controversy….

Half of you absolutely LOVE Derek Johnson, and the other half throw a fit every time I feature him.

I don’t know if he’s right about everything, but he seems to be right about much more than he’s wrong so I like him.

And I’m excited to show you his latest video because it’s absolutely spot on.

He published this after the Trump Guilty verdict was released and Derek is just smiling big time.

Why?

Because he says it had to be this way.

This was the plan all along.

This now opens up the door for the REAL ex-President criminals to now be charged.

No longer is it taboo for an Administration to go after a prior President.

In last Wednesday's blog I pointed out that three events could be examples of a covert warfare currently under way: the recent drone attack on a Russian early warning radar at Aramvir, the alleged incursion of a specialist team into a Raytheon facility in Tuscon (which, I hasten to add, may just be a completely fabricated story), and the recent murder of a Chchen man. As I pointed out in that blog, we're looking at a string of ifs, at least, with respect to those articles.

However, there is a bit of confirmation that something is going on by  U.S. Navy Admiral Daryl Caudle, according to this story shared by K.M.:

To address its continuing recruitment crisis, the British Army is considering enlisting those with autism or a previous mental health diagnosis.

The service reportedly directed outsourcing giant Capita to formulate a plan to potentially hire those who would normally face a blanket ban in the British Army.

Under current rules, applicants who have autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), or a history of depression are outright rejected.

But a report by The Telegraph said the army is pushing to reverse this policy, with plans to reassess its medical requirements by refining questions on ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and mental health.

Aspiring soldiers with autism or ADHD account for more than 500 failed applications in the British Army each year.
