Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's met with Twitter/X owner Elon Musk on Monday as part of a public discussion on the dangers of artificial intelligence.
The Washington Post reported last week the meeting was going to be to discuss "anti-Semitism on X," whereas Musk said it was going to be about AI.
Israeli software maker Insanet has reportedly developed a commercial product called Sherlock that can infect devices via online adverts to snoop on targets and collect data about them for the biz's clients.
This is according to an investigation by Haaretz, which this week claimed the spyware system had been sold to a country that is not a democracy.
What happened to Elon Musk this past week showcases how completely unhinged and dangerous U.S. policy to Ukraine has become.
The condemnation began when the Washington Post published excerpts from a new biography on Musk revealing that he turned down a Ukrainian request to help launch a major sneak attack in September 2022 on the Crimean port of Sevastopol.

That incident has been widely misreported as Musk ordering SpaceX to deactivate Starlink to thwart the Ukrainian attack.
Many users were upset when their search on Threads for content related to “COVID” and “vaccines” was met with a blank screen and a pop-up redirecting them to the website of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
“Zuck treats users like children. He gets to decide what they will see and talk about. This is reason alone enough to reject Threads and embrace X,” said Michael Robertson, a tech CEO, in a post on X.
