Thought for the day

"I offered my opponents a deal: "if they stop telling lies about me, I will stop telling the truth about them"." -- Adlai Stevenson, campaign speech, 1952

Typical trolling included terms such as 'it's just summer' and used terms such as 'snowflakes' and the 'woke-brigade', which the Met Office and BBC were accused of spreading alarm.

Examples of trolling included tweets saying: "Oh please. You were obviously never around in 1975/76. Get a grip." Another said: "When will you be apologising for such pathetic, absurd fear mongering nonsense? Or perhaps you should resign in disgrace."
