"The constitutions of most of our States assert, that all power is inherent in the people...that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed." -- Thomas Jefferson

Fast food menu prices purportedly outpace inflation since 2014, but skepticism arises due to perceived inaccuracies in CPI data manipulation. Affordability strains are evident, with a significant portion of Americans sacrificing meals, vacations, and medical treatments to meet housing costs. Homeownership increasingly becomes a luxury amid re-accelerating inflation and the likelihood of interest rate hikes.

The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project released a memo Thursday detailing recent records the project obtained which show the Biden Administration's coordination with left-wing groups to increase partisan left-wing voter registration.

In March 2023, the Oversight Project filed a FOIA request with the Department of Justice for all records regarding the department’s current or planned implementation of Executive Order 14019 (“Executive Order on Promoting Access to Voting”). Returns show that the Department of Justice hosted a listening session with “voting rights” advocates as part of this implementation but the sessions involved only left-wing 501(c)(3)s discussing voter registration efforts.

The documents uncovered by the Oversight Project show that the groups that attended the listening session were affiliated – either by political donation or party affiliation – with the Democratic Party. One Green Party-aligned group was in attendance, but not a single Republican.

Biden-appointed DC US Attorney Matthew Graves told a federal judge on Monday that Leo Brent Bozell, son of Media Research Center’s Brent Bozell, deserves 12 years prison time for charges related to January 6.

Brent Bozell, a prominent conservative, openly criticizes Joe Biden and George Soros. Now the Biden Regime is gunning for his son with terror enhancement charges.

Last year Leo Bozell, 44, was convicted of all 10 charges, including six felonies and four misdemeanors related to his role in the January 6 Capitol protest.

US District Judge John Bates, a George W. Bush appointee convicted Bozell without a jury.

Webmaster addition: In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence. -- The Sixth Amendment

In a normal year, May 1 is known as National College Decision Day, the deadline for students to commit to enrolling at a college, guided in part by their financial aid awards. But the Biden administration’s disastrous rollout of a new financial aid application has left tens of thousands of families in the dark about their students’ future and prompted several universities to push back their enrollment deadlines.

As of April 19, completed FAFSA applications were down nearly 30%. At best, it means many students and parents don’t know how much it will cost to attend college in the fall. Even worse, it may lead frustrated young people to skip college altogether.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is a notoriously cumbersome form that all prospective college students must fill out if they want federal loans or grants.

Previously more than 100 questions long, FAFSA’s current crisis can be traced to 2020, when the FAFSA Simplification Act dropped the number of questions on the form to about 40.

Ironically, because of the Biden administration’s incompetence, the simplification has led to massive complications and confusion for families this year as they apply for college. Focused on other priorities, the Biden administration failed to update the FAFSA website before October, when most students start applying.

Before becoming one of the Justice Department’s top leaders, Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke was allegedly involved in a violent domestic dispute, according to court documents, records, and text messages—an incident that ended in her arrest and was ultimately expunged. During her Senate confirmation, Clarke specifically denied ever having been arrested for or accused of committing a violent crime.

Clarke was nominated by President-elect Joe Biden on Jan. 7, 2021, and later confirmed by the U.S. Senate on May 25, 2021, to lead the DOJ’s “crown jewel,” as former Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. described the Civil Rights Division.

Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris celebrated Clarke as the first black woman to head the Civil Rights Division, promising she would focus on fighting voter suppression and hate crimes “across the country.”

Dealing with this subject has been quite difficult for me. Both the concept of the state stripping you of everything and the SHTF concept have as many backgrounds as diverse interpretations, so trying to approach this from a single point of view is a complicated task.

In my country, Venezuela, after 20 years of “revolution,” we have bottomed out and learned to live in situations we never imagined (so much so that I was able to write an article on survival techniques I never imagined myself using on daily basis).

It’s not that the governments before Hugo Chavez were much better. But there was a much more stable political and economic situation with access to the international market. In 1999, when Chávez’s government was instated, oil prices were the highest in Venezuela’s history. The newly born Communist policy in the country was hardly felt and had very few repercussions on the professional citizens who lived on a monthly salary.

If the good guys can’t resolve their petty differences, how will we ever defeat the bad guys? asks Dr. Meryl Nass.

Good question.

Before we get to Dr. Nass’ very sensible article, I would like to add a personal note.

Don’t let divide-and-conquer tactics become our downfall. Stay focused on who is trying to maim, kill and control us.
