A fundraising arm of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) has shoveled nearly $5 million into opposing incumbent Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., in his upcoming congressional primary as the group targets progressive critics of Israel's invasion of Gaza.

After contributing just over $2 million to the race last week, the United Democracy Project (UDP) super PAC has spent another almost $1.3 million on ads supporting Bowman's opponent, moderate Democrat George Latimer, and another nearly $1.4 million in negative advertisements about Bowman, campaign finance disclosures released Wednesday showed.

Craig Holman, the government affairs lobbyist for progressive consumer advocacy organization Public Citizen, said that that sum is a "very abnormal" and "extraordinary amount" for an outside group to spend in a congressional race. He told Salon that congressional races typically only see outside spending totals in the hundreds of thousands of dollars for all candidates combined.

The first of Off-Guardian's short videos marking the 75th anniversary of George Orwell’s 1984 and, they hope, a timely reminder it is much more than the famous memes of Room 101, Big Brother, Doublethink or Newspeak.

Firstly – The Lottery.

"The Lottery, with its weekly pay-out of enormous prizes, was the one public event to which the proles paid serious attention.

It was probable that there were some millions of proles for whom the Lottery was the principal if not the only reason for remaining alive.

It was their delight, their folly, their anodyne, their intellectual stimulant.

Where the Lottery was concerned, even people who could barely read and write seemed capable of intricate calculations and staggering feats of memory.

There was a whole tribe of men who made their living simply by selling systems, forecasts, and lucky amulets.

Winston had nothing to do with the Lottery, which was managed by the Ministry of Plenty, but he was aware (indeed everyone in the party was aware) that the prizes were largely imaginary.

Only small sums were actually paid out, the winners of the big prizes being nonexistent persons."

Every once in a while, you listen to someone, and what comes out of their mouth is so raw and real, it makes you wonder if they meant to say it. That’s exactly what many people are saying about comedian Louis C.K. after his recent chat with Joe Rogan about Biden’s devastating border invasion. It was one of those candid moments where he let the beans spill all over the floor, revealing, firstly, that this invasion was planned. He then went on to discuss why the left is determined to see America overrun with uneducated, low-skilled, and often-times criminal illegals.

As Louis C.K. pointed out, he believes it’s simply not “fair” that the US is so much better than everyone else. According to what he expressed, the leftist mindset is that we need to be brought down a few pegs, and the quickest way to do that is by importing low-IQ, low-skilled filth into the country. This isn’t how you create “fairness.” It’s how you topple an entire country from within. And the fact of the matter is, the left knows this and is more than okay with it. Just look at what the left is doing with their twisted and dangerous DEI agenda that promotes people based on charity, not excellence. We’re dumbing down the US at a rate that’s mind-blowing, and it will take decades to recover from this.

The left wants to turn the US into a third-world country, all to satisfy some misguided elite white guilt and even out the playing field.

The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy has made a number of significant breakthroughs in improving its capabilities, according to recent interviews with personnel marking the 70th founding anniversary of the country’s submarine force. In an interview with the state run China Central Television (CCTV), submarine detachment captain Wen Xuexing provided insight into progress in submarine capabilities, stating: "We have achieved historic breakthroughs in terms of maritime verifications on our torpedo attacks and missile attacks. This means that our combat capabilities are stronger, we can reach regions farther away, and we are more confident in our missions.” “The country's submarine force development comprises both nuclear-powered and conventional boats, with nuclear-powered being the main focus," he elaborated at the time. The report featured a rare clip showing a live torpedo hitting the stern of a target ship, following a test attack sinking a retired Type 074 Yuhai Class amphibious landing ship.

On June 18 a Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy Type 094 Jin Class ballistic missile submarine surfaced near the Taiwan Strait, in a rare show of force, which has widely been seen as a signal to Western states that have increased their military focus on the area. Taipei-based media outlets published a number of photos of the ship,  which reportedly surfaced just 200 kilometres off the island’s west coast. The submarine was joined by an unidentified surface ship at the time. Type 094 Class submarines form the backbone of the Chinese Navy’s strategic nuclear deterrent, with six of these 11,000 ton ships currently in service each carrying 12 intercontinental range ballistic missiles. It remains uncertain whether these ships continue to rely solely on the JL-2 ICBM, or whether they have begun to deploy the enhanced JL-3, after it saw multiple underwater test launches beginning in the late 2010s. The new missile has an estimated engagement range of up to 14 kilometres, and is expected to also equip the Type 094’s successor currently under development under the Type 096 submarine program.

An American shipyard that builds domestic cargo vessels and training ships for U.S. maritime colleges has agreed to a deal, in which it would be bought by a major South Korean shipbuilder.
Pending regulatory approvals, Philly Shipyard is set to be acquired by Hanwha Systems and Hanwha Ocean for $100 million from its Norwegian parent Anker ASA, according to a statement from the Philadelphia yard on Thursday.

“Recognized as a global leader, Hanwha brings a wealth of sophisticated shipbuilding experience that will enable Philly Shipyard to realize a grander vision for its employees and customers,” Kristian Røkke, chair of Philly Shipyard ASA, said in a Thursday statement.

The South Philadelphia shipyard was built following the 1996 closure of the former U.S. Navy Philadelphia Naval Shipyard and specializes in building Jones Act ships – vessels that meet the requirement of the 1920 law that requires American-built and flagged ships to move goods inside the United States.

In the last week, Houthi forces killed a merchant mariner, sunk a commercial ship and forced a crew to abandon another in flames. The attacks come as the Houthis continue to escalate its eight-month campaign against commercial traffic in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

The Houthis attacked MV Verbena, a Ukrainian-owned, Polish-operated bulk cargo carrier and Liberian-flagged MV Tutor, leading to both crews abandoning ship after the damage caused fires and flooding. Tutor sank following missile damage led to flooding, while Verbena’s crew abandoned the ship after it could not put out fires caused by the Houthi strike. Aircraft from the Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, as well as another commercial ship, helped evacuate the crews.

The group says its will not slow its assault on merchant ships unless Israel ends its attacks in Gaza.

This week marks the eighth month of the U.S. Navy’s combat operations against Houthi forces in Yemen. That’s four times longer than the first Gulf War. While Navy sailors have remained vigilant, fighting their ships, and eliminating a portion of their adversary’s combat capability, the Houthis and their Iranian enablers remain entirely undeterred.

Commercial mariners have gotten the message. After more than 50 attacks on shipping in the waters off Yemen, which have killed three, the marine transportation industry has all but abandoned the Red Sea. This caused one Commanding Officer of the Navy ships in the region to call the strategic sea lane a “ghost town.” One must wonder why the U.S. has a Navy in the first place.

The exodus of civilian shipping has only caused the Houthis to concentrate their kinetic effects on allied naval forces, creating the most intense combat conditions since World War II. In a sobering expose this week by the Associated Press, commanders of the U.S. Navy vessels involved described the nearly non-stop barrage of missiles and drones. In each case, the ships had only seconds to respond.

On Friday, a Nevada judge dismissed the case involving alternate electors who accused six Republicans of submitting fake certificates to Congress following the 2020 election.

Clark County Judge Mary Kay Holthus made a bench ruling on Friday at the Clark County District Court, dismissing the case, as reported by courtroom sources.

The judge indicated skepticism towards state prosecutors’ argument that Clark County was the appropriate venue for the case, seemingly favoring defense attorneys who contended that the certificate signing took place in Douglas County.

President Biden’s disastrous open-border policy is to blame for the horrific rape of a 13-year-old girl inside a Queens park, her distraught dad told The Post.

A week after his daughter was allegedly raped by Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, an illegal immigrant from Ecuador, the father charged “This is what happens” when undocumented migrants are allowed to flood into the US unchecked.

“The open border policy, I have never agreed with, because that just invites a lot of things that we don’t need,” said the 70-year-old dad, whose name is being withheld by The Post to protect his daughter’s identity. “And look what came in. Look what happened to my daughter.”

Folks, we are living in strange and interesting times!

We all know the FBI and others conspired to hide the Hunter Biden laptop to affect the outcome of the 2020 elections. They knew the laptop was real, just like they knew Ashley Biden’s diary was real. But they denied it, suppressed the evidence, and spun stories to the media instead.

According to a national poll, a whopping 79% of Americans have now said that if they had known the truth about the Hunter Biden laptop, they would have voted differently, and Trump would have likely won the election.

Furthermore, in a survey conducted by the New Jersey-based Technometrica Institute of Policy and Politics, the vast majority of those following the Hunter laptop story now believe the laptop is real. Of course, Hunter Biden’s recent trial for a handgun felony violation has proven that the laptop was his and that it was real.

But in addition to all the smoke and mirrors and lies surrounding the never-ending saga of Hunter Biden and the Biden Crime Family, there are other more concerning factors involving election integrity, particularly as it relates to the upcoming 2024 Elections.

On June 17, 2024, Federal District Judge Danny C. Reeves temporarily blocked the Biden Admin’s Title IX rule change in the case brought by six states against Biden’s attempt to replace sex designation with gender identity using rule changes under Title IX. This injunction comes on the heels of a similar ruling by Judge Terry A. Doughty granting relief to four other states. At least seven other cases have been filed against the rule change, backed by 20 other state AGs, and are presently making their way through the system.

The coverage of Biden’s rule changes uniformly claims that the administration’s rule changes seek to “expand Title IX protections” to include those claiming sex-opposite gender identity. This is categorically false. The designated users of segregated facilities and programs can either be defined by sex or by gender identity. However, since a “trans” identification opposes physiological sex, the designation cannot simultaneously respect both sex and sex-opposed gender identity. Such “expansion” necessarily REPLACES sex with gender identity

Will nuclear World War III happen this summer? The answer, we all hope, pray, and expect, is “no.” But the odds of what would be an unprecedented global disaster are at an all-time high. The Union of Concerned Scientists’ Doomsday Clock, stuck at a record-breaking 90 seconds to midnight since last year, should have moved a few ticks closer to Armageddon in late May, after Ukraine and its US backers began striking Russian early-warning radar sites tasked with detecting a US nuclear attack.

Russia announced that it would respond symmetrically by arming US adversaries with long-range weapons. Since then a Russian nuclear-capable fleet has visited Cuba, raising the prospect of another Cuban missile crisis, and Putin has embraced North Korea in such a way as to confirm rumors that Russia has indeed given North Korea Topol M missiles, as claimed by Theodore Postol. More such gifts to various US adversaries are undoubtedly in the pipeline.

His wife died a few months later in a fatal crash that Epstein claims might be connected to his testimony about Google’s search engine bias in US elections.

“They are picking our presidents, our senators, our members of congress, our attorneys general,” Epstein said on The Alex Jones Show in 2023.

A federal judge in Florida on Friday ruled that a U.S. law that bars people from possessing firearms in post offices is unconstitutional, citing a landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling from 2022 that expanded gun rights.

U.S. District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle, an appointee of Republican former President Donald Trump in Tampa, reached that conclusion in dismissing part of an indictment charging a postal worker with illegally possessing a gun in a federal facility.

Mizelle said that charge violated Emmanuel Ayala's right to keep and bear arms under the U.S. Constitution's Second Amendment, saying "a blanket restriction on firearms possession in post offices is incongruent with the American tradition of firearms regulation."

Newly obtained documents from America First Legal (AFL) have unveiled a controversial strategy by the Biden administration's Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The documents reveal that the DHS, under the guidance of a committee led by former CIA Director John Brennan and ex-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, classified Trump supporters as "domestic extremists" and sought to influence mothers and teachers to report these individuals to federal authorities.

The documents, part of the disbanded "Homeland Intelligence Experts Group," outline an insidious plan to expand government surveillance under the pretense of national security. Established in September last year, the group included prominent figures like Brennan and Clapper, who previously misrepresented Hunter Biden’s laptop controversy as Russian disinformation during the 2020 election.

AFL, a conservative non-profit, filed a lawsuit in November 2023, alleging that the group was packed with Democratic partisans and violated the Federal Advisory Committee Act due to its lack of balance and transparency. As part of an out-of-court settlement in May, DHS agreed to disband the group and release its internal documents.
