California officials launched an investigation after more than a dozen migrants were flown to Sacramento on a mystery private jet on Saturday and “dumped on the doorstep of a local church without any advance warning.”

Gov. Gavin Newsom and Attorney General Rob Bonta met with the group Saturday, who had documentation “purporting to be from the government of the State of Florida,” Bonta said in a release.

The group was taken from Texas to New Mexico before being flown by private jet to California “with no prior arrangement or care in place,” Bonta said.

When we think of wind power as a source of energy, we might think of huge, ugly turbines blighting the landscape. But one village in Iran reveals how our ancestors built turbines using wood and clay, not steel and concrete; with such smarts, they are still being used today—some thousand years on.

The name of the tiny town in the country’s northeast means “storm’s sting,” due to the ferocity of the winds that blow from the north year-round. Situated on a windswept plain approximately 25 miles (40 kilometers) from the Afghan border, Nashtifan is famous for its ancient windmills, the oldest in the world.

Blending into the semi-desert landscape, constructed high on a hill, an army of 40 windmills stand up to 65 feet (approx. 20 meters) high and serve two purposes: to act as a buffer, protecting the village from the raging air currents, and to grind grain into flour. Locals call the technique of using wind to power milling machinery “asbad.” In a stroke of genius, Iranian architects positioned and designed the windmills in such a way as to “catch” the air in openings, causing the blades to spin, which in turn powers a vertical shaft that turns a millstone, grinding the grain.

After the city council approved a multi-million dollar migrant aid package, outraged Chicago residents raised their concerns and frustrations at a meeting earlier this week.

One of those residents joined "Fox & Friends Weekend" to amplify the concerns of his Chicago neighbors and offer other areas where the $51 million could be spent.

"It's just a mess here," Chicago resident Andre Smith said. "We have in Chicago $160 million that was spent for the migrants with no records, no plan. And now we're fixing to spend $51 million that was passed at city council with no record, no plan for 500 migrants for 30 days. That's unheard of."

A former White House doctor for presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama has raised concerns over Joe Biden's health and said it is 'malpractice' to allow him to seek re-election.

Texas congressman Ronny Jackson has claimed he is 'not fit mentally or physically' to lead the country and 'it's a bad situation for us'.

The now-Republican politician slammed White House officials for allowing Biden, 80, to run for a second term and said those close to him like his wife Jill should be stopping him.

His comments come after Biden fell on stage during a graduation ceremony at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado on Thursday.

The recent stumble marks the fourth time he has fallen in public since taking office in January 2021.

This is the astonishing moment a Chinese warship comes within 150 yards of an American destroyer in Taiwan Strait, just days after the Pentagon said it would not stand for 'bullying' by Beijing

Footage obtained by Global News, shows a People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) warship cut across the bow of a U.S. guided-missile destroyer on Saturday while it was transiting the Taiwan Strait.

USS Chung Hoon and HMCS Montreal had also been transiting the strait on a rare joint mission when a PLAN warhsip cut across the bow of Chung-Hoon.

According to Global News, the Chinese warship made a course to cut across the destroyer and had been advised over the radio by the U.S. crew to alter course.

The commander of the HMCS Montreal told Global News he believes the incident was 'clearly instigated by the Chinese.'

Economic estimates show a positive relationship between low taxes and entrepreneurship. Lower taxes also promote economic growth. Yet, the nascent marijuana industry is being taxed to the point where it is becoming an impediment to growth. Some policymakers are laboring under the impression that citizens have an obligation to enrich the state.

The thinking is that all activities must be captured by the tax net. New rules will even make PayPal transactions over $600 liable to taxation. Such policies are depriving citizens of investment capital and disposable income. Nevertheless, they are portrayed as the noble goals of a benevolent government.

Indeed, the state requires money to function, but debates still loom about its legitimacy and that of the income tax. Hence, politicians ought to curb their appetite for spending, promise less, and desist from pursuing useless military excursions. The state should be satisfied with what it collects from citizens because it is not owed anything.

People are already compelled to pay the income tax. Therefore, if they choose to earn extra income and use PayPal or other platforms to conduct transactions, that’s their business. The government is not entitled to any of what they earn. Few share this view, but the IRS is an intrusive agency whose influence should be curtailed.

The ingenuity of the American people made this country great rather than rapacious government institutions. Americans must defend themselves against government encroachment instead of passively watching the state taxing them into penury.

The FBI continues to be the center of controversy as whistleblowers and former agents speak out against the alleged politicization taking place within the bureau.

Nicole Parker, a former special agent for the FBI, joined “Mornings with Maria” on Friday to discuss what she experienced during her time at the bureau and the “terrifying” consequences for whistleblowers who dare to hold the agency accountable.

“You have people that are seeing things that they do not agree with, but they are terrified to speak up, Maria. They are terrified,” she stressed. “Look at what they [FBI] did to some of these whistleblowers,” she said.

In May, the House Judiciary Committee and Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government released a report that revealed new whistleblower testimony from several current and former FBI employees, exposing the “abuses and misconduct in the FBI.”

The individual behind the information that then-Vice President Joe Biden was involved in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national is a "highly credible" FBI confidential human source who has been used by the bureau in multiple investigative matters dating back to the Obama administration, Fox News Digital has learned.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and GOP Sen. Chuck Grassley were approached by a whistleblower alleging that the FBI was in possession of a document — an FD-1023 form, dated June 30, 2020 — which explicitly detailed information provided by a confidential human source alleging Biden, while serving as vice president, was involved in a $5 million criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national in exchange for influence over policy decisions.

A source familiar told Fox News Digital on Friday that the confidential human source who provided the Biden information to the FBI was a "pre-existing" FBI source who has been used in multiple investigative matters separate from the Biden information.

Newly released security footage from the January 6 incident at the U.S. Capitol Building in 2021 reveals a very different experience for then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi than the impression she previously gave of being in grave danger.

“Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has described having to evacuate a riotous Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, as traumatic,” Just the News reported in a post containing the new footage.

“But Capitol Police security footage obtained by Just the News shows the long-time Democrat leader exited Hollywood-style from the home of Congress that fateful day with her daughter filming her as security officers tried to guide her through a secret safe passage corridor,” the report continued.

Not only that but Pelosi — who at the time was third in line to the presidency — was also surrounded by perhaps as many as 20 security personnel who were most likely armed.

Just The News reporter John Solomon on Friday released unedited January 6 footage that proves the January 6 Select Committee presented footage with doctored audio.

In a video presented during a Congressional hearing, rioters can be seen breaking windows and entering the Capitol building during the January 6 election protests in 2021. In the committee’s footage, people can be heard shouting “go, go, go” overlayed over sounds of windows breaking and loud bangs.

The footage also contained the voice of a Capitol Police officer yelling, “We have a breach in the Capitol!”

Solomon — who was one of three journalists granted access to the footage by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) last week — shared the unedited footage for the first time on Friday. It turns out the uncut footage was completely silent with none of the sounds added in by the committee’s production team.

“That footage was thrown in there to create a dramatic, movie-like effect. It’s no longer evidence now,” Solomon said. “It’s now been turned into, a little bit of propaganda. It’s one thing if they told the public that they did it, but they don’t.”

A health centre in England provided new parents with questionnaires asking if they considered their babies to be transgender or non-binary.

A form offered by a general practitioner practice in Birmingham to parents of newborns quizzed them if they considered their child to be either “male (including trans man)”, “female (including trans woman)”, “non-binary”, “other (not listed)” or “not stated”.

Sharing a screenshot of the form, a woman posted on Twitter: “So my mate has had a baby recently and had to register this precious new life. This is the newborn registration form she’s faced with.”

“I think she’s going to register baby as Other = dinosaur gender,” she joked.

The Woodgate Valley Health Centre insisted the form was used by new patients of all ages wishing to register, not just newborns, telling The Sun that it was a “standard new patient registration form for any new patient” that “includes, but is not limited to, parents registering a newborn baby”.

The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv issued a ruling to oblige the Ukrainian State Bureau of Investigation to start a pre-trial investigation in connection with the possible treason of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, former Verkhovna Rada deputy Geo Leros said on May 30 in his Telegram channel.

“Let me remind you that the pocket SBI refused to investigate Zelenskyy’s high treason when he appointed FSB agents to key positions in the SBU, but we were obliged by the court to enter information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations and begin a pre-trial investigation,” the former deputy said.

He cited a photograph of a copy of the ruling of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv, by which the court obliges the State Bureau of Investigation to conduct a pre-trial investigation at the request of Leros. In his message on the Telegram channel, the deputy clarified that the court ordered to initiate a criminal case “against Zelensky and co” under Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason).

Paul Homewood has written a cracking piece in TCW: Defending Freedom about why the BBC’s multi-million pound new fact-checking unit should start by investigating the deluge of misinformation about the ‘climate emergency’ pumped out by the… BBC.

THE BBC has set up a new ‘disinformation unit’, BBC Verify. Marianna Spring, the BBC’s Disinformation Correspondent, says she is currently studying “the U.K.’s conspiracy theory movement” which she claims has “evolved and intensified” since the Chinese coronavirus outbreak. Spring identified “alternative media” as a source of so-called conspiracy theories.

“I’m looking at the way alternative media is funded, I’m looking at its impact on local communities, I’m looking at its connections with far-right figures and also its foreign links,” she said.

The millennial journalist’s reference to ‘far right’ rather gives the game away. Evidently disinformation from the left wing or globalists is OK then! And what she means by far right is not neo-Nazi, but ordinary conservative, Christian views, once regarded as mainstream and still held by most of the British public.

The whole thing is laughable anyway, because the BBC itself is one of the biggest sources of disinformation, certainly where climate change is concerned. So I suggest BBC Verify begin by looking into the BBC’s own coverage.

In a swift response to an unfortunate incident, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has extended an invitation to Rushingbrook Children’s Choir that was stopped midway through their performance while singing the National Anthem at the U.S. Capitol. Expressing his disappointment, McCarthy condemned the interruption and declared it “unacceptable.”

The Gateway Pundit was first to report on Friday that the Rushingbrook Children’s Choir was stopped while singing the National Anthem in Statuary Hall at the United States Capitol last Friday, May 26th.

The Capitol Police did not allow the young children to finish the song and sought to explain to the choir director that singing the national anthem at the nation’s Capitol is considered a form of demonstration and/or might offend someone.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott went on record asking Dominion Voting Systems to explain if, as reported, the company played a role in the cancellation of Fox News host Tucker Carlsons’ primetime show.

Fox News and Carlson “parted ways” last month despite Carlson being the network’s most popular primetime host. The announcement came just days after Fox News reached a settlement with Dominion over its claims that the news network defamed the company by “spreading election lies” about the 2020 presidential election.

“If the public reporting is accurate that Dominion Voting Systems demanded that Tucker Carlson be fired as part of a litigation settlement, then I am happy that Dominion does not operate in Texas, and I don’t think that they should do so in the future,” Abbott tweeted Saturday.

Only a small number of people with gender dysphoria have surgery to align their bodies with their desired sex — but the rate of complications is high.

One of the largest surveys of trans adults earlier this year indicated that one in six (16 percent) go under the knife to alter their physical appearance.

But research suggests that up to half of trans men and women suffer post-op issues or pain so severe they need medical attention or additional surgery months later.

The complex operations involve crafting the genitalia of the opposite sex using veins, arteries, muscles and skin from other body parts. The surgeries are risky due to surgeons having to connect delicate and complicated networks of blood vessels, as well as creating the ability to urinate.

For trans men, devices are often implanted to allow them to achieve erections and more enjoyable sexual experiences.

A former Anheuser-Busch executive has claimed that institutional investors are pushing left-wing ideology on the companies they invest in, spurring recent controversies like the ones that engulfed Bud Light and Target.

Anson Frericks, a co-founder of Strive Asset Management who previously spent a decade at Anheuser-Busch, made the claim in an interview on Tuesday on Fox News

'You just have to follow the money. Take a look at BlackRock, State Street, Vanguard -- they manage $20 billion worth of capital,' he said.

Frericks said a lot of the money managed by institutional investors comes from big pension funds like those of the state of California, which put ideological pressure on the money managers.

Before the ink was even dry on President Biden and Speaker McCarthy's debt limit deal, senators were carving out ways to get around spending limits by passing 'emergency' bills to boost defense spending and the war in Ukraine.

Some House Republicans are balking at putting the nation further into debt to pay for a foreign war.

Defense spending became a front-and-center issue for GOP negotiators working with the White House

Republicans wanted more, President Biden wanted less. They ultimately settled on Biden's request for fiscal year 2024 - $886 billion, a three percent increase that Senate hawks said amounted to a cut when factoring for inflation

In fiscal year 2025, the cap would be $895 billion - a one percent increase from 2024.

When Sam Dogen retired at age 34 with a net worth of $3million he vowed never to return to his grueling job in investment banking.

As a pioneer of the FIRE - financial independence, retire early - movement, he had meticulously planned for 13 years to ensure he had a passive income of $80,000 a year in retirement.

But a decade later, Dogen, now 45, is being forced to join the ranks of the unretired.

Amid soaring inflation and rising costs, he needs to go back to work to be able to afford his kids' college tuition, which he has calculated could cost a whopping $1.5 million.

If farmers and ranchers don’t produce enough food, we don’t eat.  So we should always be very thankful for our hard working farmers and ranchers.  Unfortunately, farms and ranches all over the United States have been hit by a string of disasters in recent months, and as a result food production has taken a turn for the worse.  So does that mean that we should expect that there will soon be shortages of certain items?  Unfortunately, it appears that is likely to be the case.  For example, it is being reported that approximately 90 percent of Georgia’s peach crop for this year has been destroyed

The Russian fighters aligned against Moscow who launched a cross-border raid from Ukraine into the Belgorod region of Russia last week used at least four tactical vehicles originally given to Ukraine by the United States and Poland, U.S. officials said, raising questions about the unintended use of NATO-provided equipment and Kyiv’s commitments to secure materiel supplied by its supporters.

Three of the Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles, also known as MRAPs, taken into Russia by the fighters were provided by the United States and the fourth was from Poland, according to people familiar with the U.S. intelligence finding, which has not previously been reported. Those people spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the sensitive issue.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against former President Donald Trump heated up again this week.

Bragg on Tuesday moved to oppose an attempt by Trump’s attorneys to move his hush-money case to federal court. Trump’s lawyers argued late last month that the case cannot be tried in a state court because the alleged violations took place while he was president, making them a federal matter.

In court documents filed Tuesday, prosecutors in Manhattan argued that the case should remain with the state court because the former president’s “alleged criminal conduct had no connection to his official duties and responsibilities as President, but instead arose from his unofficial actions relating to his private businesses and pre-election conduct.”

A Manhattan grand jury indicted Trump on 34 criminal charges of falsifying business records related to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

In an excellent display of how US foreign policy can be used as a means of pandering to domestic interest groups, the Biden administration has threatened to impose sanctions on Uganda as punishment for that regime's adoption of new laws criminalizing some types of homosexual behavior.

While it is abundantly clear that this move from the Ugandan state presents absolutely no threat to any vital US interest, the Biden administration apparently believes the situation requires immediate action by the US regime.

According to Axios, the Biden Administration's proposed actions

includ[e] whether the U.S. will continue to safely deliver services under the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief and other forms of assistance and investments. ... Biden administration officials will also review Uganda's eligibility for the African Growth and Opportunity Act, which provides eligible sub-Saharan African countries with duty-free access to the U.S. market for hundreds of products.

The World Health Organization (WHO) is proposing a set of recommendations for “social listening surveillance systems” designed to address what it describes as a “health threat” posed by online “misinformation.”

The WHO’s Preparedness and Resilience for Emerging Threats (PRET) initiative claims “misinformation” has resulted in an “infodemic” that poses a threat — even in instances where the information is “accurate.”

PRET has raised eyebrows, at a time when the WHO’s member states are engaged in negotiations on two controversial instruments: the “pandemic treaty” and amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR).

The latest draft of the pandemic treaty contains language on how WHO member states would commit to “social listening.” Under article 18(b), WHO member states would commit to:

“Conduct regular community outreach, social listening, and periodic analysis and consultations with civil society organization and media outlets to identify the prevalence and profiles of misinformation, which contribute to design communications and messaging strategies for the public to counteract misinformation, disinformation and false news, thereby strengthening public trust and promoting adherence to public health and social measures.”

Salespeople promoting Bud Light for a Florida–based distributor have grown accustomed to car horns, middle fingers and jokes amid a weekslong boycott, but say they have struggled to ignore thousands of dollars in lost commission pay, two sales supervisors at the distributor told ABC News.

A typical salesperson at the distributor made roughly $2,000 less in May than he or she would have over each of the previous two years, suffering primarily from a decline in Bud Light sales that reached as much as 60% over the week ending on Memorial Day, the sales supervisors said.

"This has really, really killed a lot of the guys who are commission-based. That's who it's really hurting," one supervisor said. "There's nothing they could've done -- this was thrown in their faces."
