The U.S. government is borrowing $4.9 billion each day on average, driving the deficit for the first 8 months of this current fiscal year to $1.2 trillion, according to the latest data from the Congressional Budget Office.

"With little surprise, our economic challenges have continued to mount with our debt only four years away from reaching a record share of the economy and interest costs soaring past our defense budget this year," Maya MacGuineas, president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, said in an analysis published on Monday.

"The Social Security retirement trust fund is still on track to face insolvency in less than a decade with Medicare not far behind. Without changes, retirees will be facing potential across-the-board cuts to their benefits," she also said.

A top US military commander says the US plans to send swarms of drones and unmanned submarines into the Taiwan Strait

The US military is planning to create a “hellscape” of drones in the Taiwan Strait if China moves to attack Taiwan, the top US military commander in the region has told The Washington Post.

Adm. Samuel Paparo, the head of US Indo-Pacific Command, told Post columnist Josh Rogin that the idea would be to send thousands of drones, unmanned submarines, and drone boats into the Strait to buy time for the US and Taiwan to prepare a defense of the island.

“I want to turn the Taiwan Strait into an unmanned hellscape using a number of classified capabilities,” Paparo said. “So that I can make their lives utterly miserable for a month, which buys me the time for the rest of everything.”

The US has taken steps in the direction of developing swarms of drones for a future war with China. Last year, Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks outlined a plan to deploy thousands of drones controlled by Artificial Intelligence, known as the “Replicator Initiative.”

“With Replicator, we’re beginning with all-domain, attritable autonomy, or ADA2, to help us overcome the [People’s Republic of China’s] advantage in mass: more ships, more missiles, more forces,” Hicks said at a conference in September 2023. She added that the US plans to deploy the drones “at a scale of multiple thousands, in multiple domains, within the next 18-to-24 months.”

Paparo framed the plan as necessary to deter China from attacking Taiwan, but the US military buildup in the region and its new support for Taiwan has only raised tensions and is making a conflict more likely. The admiral also used Cold War-style language when discussing the situation in the Asia Pacific, saying regional countries need to make a choice between the US and China.

Claire's Observations:  If the weaponry about which Adm. Samuel Paparo speaks is "as good as that sent to Ukraine", the US is absolutely doomed in this potential military action.  Admiral Paparo may well not have "a month" with which to distract the Chinese military; he may have  barely a week, if he is lucky.

The big question for me is,  what can he do to distract the Chinese before he is able to get his forces repositioned , to enable US ground troops to do what they need to in order to fight off the Chinese troops?!?!?!?  Unfortunately, that appears to be a mystery to me.

Famed Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz explained over the weekend how former President Donald Trump may be able to have the U.S. Supreme Court quickly review his hush money conviction in Manhattan last week.

Following his 34-count felony conviction on Thursday, Trump and his legal team vowed to quickly appeal it. Dershowitz said it’s possible the nation’s highest court could review the case before the presidential election, The Epoch Times reported.

Legal experts have told the outlet that the standard practice is for all possible appeals in the New York state court system to be exhausted before an appeal reaches the Supreme Court.

However, there has been speculation about the possibility of expediting this process.

George Soros-funded Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has refused to attend a House Judiciary Committee hearing to testify.

The Democrat prosecutor says he is “too busy” to attend the hearing on June 13.

Bragg and his prosecutorial team were quick to take victory laps in the wake of the guilty verdict in President Donald Trump’s “hush money” case.

However, in the time since the verdict was read, Bragg has found himself, for the first time, being asked questions about the case that he might not want to answer.

It now appears that the walls are closing in.

According to the Washington Examiner, House Republicans have requested that Bragg and one of his prosecutors attend a testimony on June 13.

Bragg is already coming up with weak excuses as to why he can’t attend.

Poultry farms worldwide may soon be subjected to mass cullings based on the latest round of viral fearmongering orchestrated via the WHO.

The desperate globalist quest for a new “pandemic” may have finally found a clincher in the form of a confirmed death from avian influenza in Mexico City recently. The culprit subtype this time happens to be the H5N2 rather than the highly-publicised and dreaded H5N1 virus.

It was the H5N1 subtype which was pencilled to spark the next great pandemic by the usual mainstream suspects. Variants of this virus have been detected in cats and cows in the United States; in an Australian child travelling from India; in milk in “very high concentrations” (via bird-to-cow, cow-to-cow and cow-to-bird transmissions); and had killed a dolphin and a polar bear for the very first time.

Claire's Observations:  While you still can, you may want to stock up on meat; chicken; and canned proteins of various types. Much of this may "go away" in order for corporations to force us to eat lab-grown meat or poultry only (To allegedly, "save the environment", of course!!).

You may also want to stock up on supplements you normally take, including Vitamin C and Zinc, which may also be forced to "go away", courtesy of Big Pharma, which only wants you taking supplements by prescription.

And IF your health care professional starts "pushing you" toward an MRNA "bird flu vaccine", ask them how much their medical group is being compensated for "suggesting it."  And if they clam up, just smile, and say; "don't worry; I am sure that some of this has already been documented on line!!"

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has been caught charging U.S. taxpayers for the healthcare bills of the state’s illegal alien population.

According to local media, Newsom filed nearly $53 million worth of reimbursements that the state now must return to the federal government:

NBC15 reports:

California owes the federal government $52.7 million after it “improperly” requested reimbursements for services provided to noncitizens, according to a recent inspector general report.

The Golden State claimed Medicaid reimbursements for services it provided to “noncitizens with unsatisfactory immigration status,” the report reads. The category does not include those seeking asylum or refugees. States are prohibited from claiming such federal reimbursements except in medical emergency situations, which did not apply here, according to the report.

The U.S. Central Command congratulated Israel over its “successful” hostage rescue operation on Saturday that managed to save four Israelis at the expense of three killed hostages, 297 dead Palestinians and another 700 injured.

“We commend the work of the Israeli security services that conducted this daring operation,” the statement read. “The United States is supporting all efforts to secure the release of hostages still held by Hamas, including American citizens. This includes through ongoing negotiations or other means.”

An eye-opening new report exposes how Israel organized and paid for an influence campaign aimed at encouraging American lawmakers to support the Jewish state in its bloody war in Gaza.

This is according to a report in the New York Times based on information from unnamed Israeli officials as well as documents outlining the operation. The body behind the effort was Israel's Ministry of Diaspora Affairs, which is tasked with helping Jewish people around the world connect with Israel. The ministry reportedly spent $2 million on the covert campaign and hired a political marketing firm in Tel Aviv known as STOIC to carry out the plan.

It is believed to have started not long after the October 7 attack by Hamas on Israel that saw around 1200 people killed and a further 250 taken hostage. This prompted a strong and swift Israeli response, and the Israel Defense Forces have been fighting Hamas in Gaza ever since, killing more than 36,000 Palestinians in the process and drawing a slew of strong international criticism. Although President Biden recently signed a military aid package for Israel to the tune of $15 billion, many Americans are opposed to the war and growing increasingly outraged over the rising death toll in the Gaza Strip.

Ukrainian forces are losing control of Chasovy Yar: Russian aviation and artillery play a key role.

A number of Ukrainian sources report a critical situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the city of Chasov Yar. According to them, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are losing the ability to effectively defend a significant part of this settlement. The Kanal microdistrict is gradually moving into the category of lost positions, and the Seversky Donets - Donbass canal is no longer a reliable line of defense.

The most active contribution to the destruction of the defensive lines of the Ukrainian troops is made by Russian aviation and artillery, which strike the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces around the clock. Constant shelling and airstrikes lead to significant losses among Ukrainian troops and create conditions under which further holding of positions becomes impossible.

Russian troops broke through the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kanal microdistrict of Chasov Yar, moving towards the Novy microdistrict. Yesterday's information about the successes of the 98th Airborne Division is confirmed not only by Russian, but also by Ukrainian resources.

The day before, paratroopers broke through a 500-meter corridor through the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kanal microdistrict, hoisting the Russian flag over one of the buildings in the depths of the area. Ukrainian publics confirm that half of the microdistrict came under the control of Russian troops, the other moved into the gray zone, which reached almost to the Seversky Donets - Donbass canal, separating the Kanal microdistrict from the Novy microdistrict.

External pressure from "concerned" scientists and members of the public reportedly resulted in a major study about Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) "vaccines" and cancer being retracted by Stockholm University in Sweden.

Research by Dr. Hui Jiang and Dr. Ya-Fang Mei linking COVID injections to cancer had to be pulled, authorities say, because it upset some people, including one scientist who questioned the "social relevance" of the paper. This same scientist claimed the science contained in the paper was "hacked by anti-vaccinationists."

The research team from Umeå University, also in Sweden, published their findings in the peer-reviewed journal MDPI Viruses back in October 2021 at the height of the Trump regime's Operation Warp Speed mass injection scheme. A video about the study that was posted to YouTube not even a month later quickly amassed more than 1.4 million views.

"Any cell that has spike protein in it, if it needs its DNA repaired ... then spike protein can reduce the DNA repair," explained Dr. Mobeen "Been" Syed, the medical educator who put together the YouTube video.

"Cancer cells are the cells where the DNA has escaped the repair."

Political commentator Candace Owens asks the audience at Turning Point USA’s Young Women’s Leadership Summit in San Antonio, Texas to think about the way modern feminism has been packaged to psychologically condition women. “It begins as soon as you enter the school system, you start to see these things. You start to understand that feminism as a term is all around you and it is something that you are being force fed whether you recognize it or not,” she says. “And make no mistake—there is absolutely nothing feminine about feminism.”

An obese woman has won Miss Alabama, with the organizers of the contest insisting that the intention of the beauty pageant was to “foster a positive self-image.”

Yes, really.

After Sara Milliken learned that she had won the competition and would go on to represent her state at the national level, she hit back at critics who questioned her weight.

Even something that you type over a screen can have a lasting impression on people,” she told WKRG.

According to a report by the news network, “The purpose of the national American Miss program is to grow confidence and foster a positive self-image.”

This despite the fact that the level of obesity displayed by Milliken is linked with all manner of horrible diseases like diabetes, heart disease, strokes, and certain cancers.

Respondents weren’t very impressed with the result.

Dang I didn’t realize this was a cattle auction,” wrote one.

Webmaster addition: One reason we have an obesity problem in the US is that food companies add chemicals to food that make you eat more (like MSG), so that you buy more, and they make more money. But it appears that, not wanting to reduce profits (and have a healthier population) the goal is to make obesity fashionable!

The consolidation of the corporate media entities continues apace, with CNN set to feature Associated Press (AP) content on its website for the first time in nearly 15 years. CNN staffers fret that the move, pushed by the network’s CEO Mark Thompson, is a prelude to layoffs as the corporate news organization moves away from original reporting.

The CNN-AP deal is the latest in a line of schemes to revive the network’s collapsing audience. In late May, it was revealed the network logged its lowest primetime ratings since 1991. According to Nielsen data, the network’s 8 PM to 11 PM programming from May 13 through May 19 attracted only 83,000 viewers among the coveted demographic of 25-to 54-year-olds.

Actor John Leguizamo has taken out a full-page ad in the New York Times to urge industry insiders voting for Emmy Awards nominees to vote for “non-white artists” because there isn’t enough “inclusion” in the entertainment industry.

“America is better when it is inclusive,” the Spawn star wrote. “It is more profitable. It is more creative! Let’s not give up. I’m still woke! Are you?”

“Please let this be the year we finally embrace change,” Leguizamo’s ad began. “The year we truly find Equity, and see artists of color represented across not just one category, but ALL categories.”

“I know you’re tired of hearing words like ‘inclusivity’ and ‘diversity’ – treading water while you try to understand how to put actions behind these sentiments. Look no further! It’s simple!” his ad continued.

“There are hundreds of prolific non-white artists who deserve to be considered for Awards this year, not because they are simply… Black, Brown, Indigenous or Asian but because they are truly grear,” he wrote, “exceptional artists who have achieved that greatness with a foot on their neck for far too long.”

This article was written as a contribution to the 2024 Chisinau Forum: ‘Unrestricted warfare: a holistic approach to the Great Reset’.

Over the last few years, I have been doing a bit of research into the connections and parallels between the Great Reset and war.

Although my focus has been mostly on the First World War, I have come to the conclusion – shocking for some, perhaps, but utterly unsurprising for others – that the agenda behind all modern wars is the same as that behind the Great Reset, Fourth Industrial Revolution, New World Order or whatever else you choose to call it.

This agenda – a long-term and multi-faceted agenda – is that of the entity I have taken to calling the criminocracy, a global mafia which, as I explained in my booklet Enemies of the People, is dominated by the Rothschild financial and industrial empire.

The overall aim is the consolidation and expansion of the criminocracy’s power and wealth, the two terms being virtually synonymous in this corrupted era that René Guénon termed the Reign of Quantity.

We can break this down into three aspects:

Short-term goals – ie: given that the whole thing is ultimately about money, immediate financial advantage.

Medium-term goals – ie: the setting-up of forthcoming financial advantage.

Long-term goals – the creation of the social conditions which will be to the financial advantage of the criminocracy in decades to come.

As far as short-term financial advantages to the Great Reset are concerned, as reflected in its initial Covid phase, they are quite obvious.

Firstly there were the profits from the sale of the so-called vaccines themselves – purchased and indemnified across the world by public authorities in an atmosphere in which there was no room for democratic scrutiny or debate.

Secondly, there was all the new equipment that could be sold, again globally, on the back of the so-called pandemic: face masks, plastic screens, handwash, signage, PCR tests and so on.

Thirdly there was the financial advantage gained by large businesses, particularly those operating online, from the lockdowns that severely affected smaller businesses.

In terms of war the most obvious cause of quick profit is from sales of armaments.

The arms trade is a key part of the criminocratic empire – as revealed by the term “military-industrial complex”.

At the time of the First World War, for example, Britain’s arms trade was controlled by a monopolising ring based around Vickers Ltd; Armstrong, Whitworth and Co Ltd; John Brown and Co Ltd; Cammell, Laird & Co, and the Nobel Dynamite Trust.

Historians Gerry Docherty and Jim Macgregor, who show how the criminocrats created and prolonged the war for their own profit, note: “The ring equated to a vast financial network in which apparently independent firms were strengthened by absorption and linked together by an intricate system of joint shareholding and common directorships.

“It was an industry that challenged the Treasury, influenced the Admiralty, maintained high prices and manipulated public opinion”. [2]

War also calls for vast amounts of raw materials, not just to manufacture the guns, ammunition, tanks, ships and aircraft, and all the associated paraphernalia, but also to transport goods and men over oceans and continents.

The Rothschild gang’s dominant role in the global oil industry, as well as in iron and steel and in railways, meant their cash tills were ringing heartily from this huge surge in demand – on both sides of the 1914-18 conflict.

There are other aspects of immediate financial gain, in the past and in the present, that are hard to identify with precision, because they fall into the realm of clearly criminal behaviour and thus are even more carefully concealed than other forms of skullduggery.

Two centuries ago, during the Napoleonic wars, the Rothschilds took advantage of food shortages and spiralling prices to operate on the black market in their home city of Frankfurt and sold provisions to armies at a considerable profit.

British goods, including cotton fabric, sugar, indigo and tobacco, were also transported across the Channel, via the Rothschilds’ warehouses, in defiance of Napoleon’s blockade.

War-related sanctions can be a profitable affair for those with the right contacts.

“Humanitarian” relief in wartime is often a convenient cover for massive and highly dubious transfers of money.

Docherty and Macgregor explain how, in the First World War, “aid” to Belgium amounted to “one of the world’s greatest con jobs”. [3]

The Commission for Relief in Belgium hailed itself as “the greatest humanitarian undertaking that the world had ever seen”. [4]

It later claimed to have spent over $13,000,000,000 on relief for the people of Belgium, a truly staggering figure for the period.

The man in charge was Herbert Clark Hoover (pictured), later president of the USA, whom the two authors do not hesitate to describe as “a confidence trickster and a crook”.[5]

With a certain inevitability, it turns out that he was deeply connected to the circles that had planned the very disaster which he was now allegedly alleviating.

Explain Docherty and Macgregor: “The American-born mining engineer lived in London for years and was a business colleague of the Rothschilds… He held shares in the Rothschilds’ Rio Tinto Company and was associated with the same all-powerful Rothschild dynasty which invested in his Zinc Corporation”. [6]

Around two-thirds of small business owners say that current economic conditions under President Joe Biden could force them to  close their doors, according to a new poll  from the Job Creators Network Foundation (JCNF) reported by the Daily Caller.

According to the report:

Around 67% of small business owners were worried that current economic conditions could force them to close their doors, ten percentage points higher than just two years ago, according to the JCNF’s monthly small business poll. Respondents’ perceptions of economic conditions for their own businesses fell slightly in the month, from 70.2 to 68.1 points, with 100 points being the best possible business conditions, while perceptions of national conditions increased from 50.4 to 53.2 points.

Digging deeper, 44% of small business owners say crime has increased in their area, while 39% say it's remained the same. Businesses making less than $100,000 per year were the most likely group to say that crime has increased, at 55%, while those with over $1 million per year in revenue were least likely to say that crime is on the rise.

"Small businesses are more vulnerable to high taxes and costly regulatory environments compared to their large corporate counterparts," JCNF president Elaine Parker told the Caller. "That’s why it’s no surprise that 26% of small businesses say they’ve considered relocating to a different state or city to chase more favorable tax rates and escape government red tape. This is an opportunity for free-market minded governors to continue making their states stand out from the crowd by implementing pro-growth policy reforms that will ignite Main Street.
