Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), who passed away Friday at age 90, once assailed illegal immigration as a net drain on working and middle-class Americans.

In 1993, while giving a press conference in the Senate building, Feinstein spoke about the prospects of the North American Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which was set to go into effect the following year. As part of NAFTA, Feinstein said Mexico ought to be required to enforce its side of the United States-Mexico border to stop illegal immigration in its tracks.

“I think you’ve seen the figures [for] state and local governments of what the cost is. It’s over $2 billion in California alone…that’s why the issue is now joined with two million illegal immigrants,” Feinstein told reporters before explaining how illegal immigration crushes Americans:

It’s a competition for space, whether the space is a job, the space is a home, [or] a place in a classroom, it becomes a competition for space. This is a country that’s based on immigration…and yet at times, you become so overtaxed you have to concentrate on saying, the people who should be here are those who come legally at this time…And for the time being, we’ve got to enforce our borders. [Emphasis added]

I wrote two articles about the late Senator Feinstein.

The second one was: Dianne Feinstein: Thy Name Is Corruption:https://vidrebel.wordpress.com/2013/01/06/dianne-feinstein-thy-name-is-corruption/#comment-60122

The first article in this series related how her Senate bill, the Desert Wilderness Protection Act, transferred hundreds of billions of dollars of gold to Southern Pacific’s real estate subsidiary.

Senator Dianne Feinstein has received scrutiny due to her husband Richard Blum’s government contracts and extensive business dealings with China and her past votes on trade issues with that country. Perini Corporation is controlled by Blum. URS Corp, which Blum had a substantial stake in, bought EG&G, a leading provider of technical services and management to the U.S. military, from The Carlyle Group in 2002; EG&G subsequently won a $600 million defense contract. In 2009 it was reported that Blum’s wife Sen. Dianne Feinstein introduced legislation to provide $25 billion in taxpayer money to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp, a government agency that had recently awarded her husband’s real estate firm, CB Richard Ellis, what the Washington Times called “a lucrative contract to sell foreclosed properties at compensation rates higher than the industry norms.”

In 2009 the University of California Board of Regents, of which Blum is a member, voted to increase student registration fees (roughly the Univ. of California equivalent of tuition) by 32%. Shortly thereafter, Blum’s Capital Partners purchased additional stock in ITT Tech, a for-profit educational institution. These events suggest a conflict of interest on Blum’s part.”

She was for six years the top Democrat on the Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies (or “Milcon”) sub-committee, where she may have directed more than $1.5 billion to those two military contractors, URS Corporation and Perini Corporation controlled by her husband. She resigned from the Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee.

The Russian Ministry of Defenses has provided a detailed summary of Ukrainian losses during week seventeen of the so-called spring counteroffensive.

According to the ministry, the Russian military carried out nine group strikes with high-precision long-range missiles and drones between September 24 and 29. The strikes hit ammunition depots, military-technical hardware, saboteurs training sites and accommodation points for Ukrainian troops and foreign mercenaries.

As a result of the strikes, the control center of the so-called International Legion and two large arsenals with weapons and ammunition were destroyed.

“The supply of foreign-made weapons and logistical support for Ukrainian troops operating in Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions were disrupted,” the ministry said.

The ministry also provided details about the combat situation in different directions within the special military operation zone over the past week.

In the Donetsk direction, Kiev forces continued to attempt offensive actions close to Artemovsk, Avdeevka and Marinka over the past week. The Russian Yug Group of Forces repelled 31 attacks there.

Former vice president of France’s National Front and president of Les Patriotes, Florian Philippot, said in a social media post that it is necessary to “stop supporting the Nazi excesses of the Kiev regime” following the double scandals of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s honouring of a Nazi and his backing of anti-India Sikh separatist forces, known as Khalistanis.

Philippot, in a post on X about Trudeau and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, wrote:

“These two recently honoured a former Waffen-SS soldier in the Canadian Parliament! An old Ukrainian Nazi. Now, they are trying to pretend they did not know about it. What an ‘unfortunate tribute’ is that? Let us no longer accept these lies: let us stop supporting the Nazi excesses of the Kiev regime! Let us stop financing this horror! Let us work for peace! Quickly!”

Berlin and Kiev’s plans for a joint venture on Ukrainian soil will unlikely be implemented in the foreseeable future, Alexei Leonkov, a military analyst and editor of the Arsenal Otechestva (Arsenal of the Fatherland) magazine, told Sputnik.

German arms manufacturer Rheinmetall has received the go-ahead from the country’s Federal Antimonopoly Office to set up a joint venture with the Ukrainian Defense Industry, previously known as Ukroboronprom.

According to Rheinmetall, "The JV [joint venture] is to be based in Kiev and engage in service and maintenance as well as the assembly, production and development of military vehicles."

The developments come as a US newspaper reported that Kiev is due to host Western officials and international arms manufacturers for a forum on Friday, touted as an opportunity to increase weapons production inside Ukraine. The newspaper cited Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba as saying that representatives of 165 military contractors from 26 nations are expected to take part in the forum.

Alexei Leonkov told Sputnik that Kiev and Berlin are currently writing up an agreement of intent, which is presented as if the decision on the JV has already been made.

Actually, however, there are several factors that make these plans by Berlin and Kiev doubtful, the Russian analyst pointed out.

While scientists are hailing the creation as an easy way to vaccinate the masses, critics wonder if the development of an airborne vaccine could be used for nefarious purposes, including covert bioenhancements,2 which have already been recommended in academic literature.3

Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of ‘Hamilton,’ wants taxpayers to bail out the struggling theater industry with a cash infusion of $2.5 billion dollars.

One of the reasons theater companies are struggling is because of closures during the pandemic, but the main reason is the industry’s embrace of wokeness over the last few years. The theater industry has always been liberal, but they have now completely embraced the radical left, alienating many of the people who might have supported them in the past.

Does Miranda not remember singling Mike Pence out at the end of a performance of Hamilton right after the 2016 election? Now he expects conservative taxpayers to bail out his failing industry? Really?

If so many Ukrainians weren’t dying this would be a joke. But with thousands of dead and injured this is no laughing matter.

Only four months ago UK military chief Admiral Sir Tony Radakin told a British parliamentary committee that Russia was now “so weak” that it could no longer wage a military counteroffensive of its own.

Now he’s saying that the Ukrainian counteroffensive has stalled because Russian defences were stronger than anticipated.

That’s a big turnaround in just four months. So either Radakin was arrogantly underestimating Russia’s military capacity when he said that it was all but exhausted. Or he was seriously misinformed. Either way, Radakin’s initial assessment has led to the deaths of tens of thousands of Ukrainians who were ordered to continue offensive operations.

That’s because advice from the likes of Admiral Sir Tony Radakin probably contributed to President Zelensky’s insistence that the Ukrainian counteroffensive continue. Thereby leading to the unnecessary slaughter of young Ukrainian conscripts.

While Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has enjoyed great success in cajoling Western countries to contribute a vast amount of military hardware to support Kiev’s fight against Russia, there is one precious commodity he must provide for himself: manpower.

The NATO-bloc countries can send Ukraine all of the military equipment at its disposal, but if there are no qualified personnel to operate the sophisticated machinery the massive contributions will be of no avail. And make no mistake: Ukraine is bleeding troops faster than they can replace them.

Last month, Russia President Vladimir Putin said Ukraine’s counteroffensive against Russian forces had so far failed and the Ukrainian army had suffered heavy losses of 71,000 men in the three-month-long attacks. Even the Western media does not dispute that figure. That’s an astonishing death toll that does little to encourage Ukrainian patriots to rush to their local recruitment office to enlist on behalf of their beleaguered country. In fact, with Kiev unable to conceal news of the disastrous battlefield results, the only way to get fresh recruits has been to grab men off the street in broad daylight.

While martial law prohibits men aged between 18 and 60 from leaving Ukraine, many have chosen to hide at home to avoid the dreaded military summons, or, when that fails, pay hefty bribes from $2,000 to $10,000 per person to avoid conscription. Meanwhile, an estimated 6 million Ukrainian refugees have escaped to the European Union since the opening of hostilities in February 2022. Zelensky has appealed to European countries to return the Ukrainian draft dodgers with limited success. Thus far only Poland has agreed to return their Ukrainian males seeking shelter.

Sweden’s prime minister summoned the head of the armed forces and the police commissioner in a bid to stem gang violence, he said on Thursday, following a wave of violence that has taken at least 11 lives in September alone.

Two people were killed in separate shootings in Stockholm on Wednesday, and a woman in her 20s, thought to be an innocent bystander, was killed when a bomb tore up a house in Uppsala in the early hours of Thursday.

“This is a difficult time for Sweden. A 25-year-old woman went to bed last night on a completely ordinary evening but never got to wake up,” Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said during a rare televised address to the nation.

“We will hunt the gangs, we will defeat the gangs,” he said.

Kristersson formed a centre-right minority government after last year’s election with support of the populist and anti-immigrant Sweden Democrats, ending eight years of Social Democrat-led governments in Sweden.

Anderson Cooper is the quintessential elitist propaganda pusher posing as a journalist, which is why he had nothing to say when confronted with the truth recently about a long-standing CIA program.

The video clip below tells you everything you need to know about Cooper and his colleagues in the mainstream corporate media. While they may support or not support various politicians, they can always be counted on to work as “partners” with the unelected powers who make up the administrative state.

So, yes, Operation Mockingbird is a real thing. It was revealed during hearings held by U.S. Senator Frank Church more than 45 years ago.

The Church Committee was a U.S. Senate select committee in 1975 that investigated abuses by the three-letter agencies, the CIA, NSA, FBI and IRS. These agencies, along with a lot of others that didn’t even exist in 1975, have since then only grown in their size, scope and power over our lives.

House Republicans have approved an amendment to slash U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s annual salary to no more than $1. The move comes as Congress remains in a gridlock over the budget, which could lead to a government shutdown.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Wednesday introduced the measure, which was approved in a voice vote as part of the 2024 fiscal year appropriations bill for the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD). (pdf)

"I'm proud to let you know my amendment to FIRE Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin just passed on the House floor," Ms. Greene wrote on X following the amendment's passage.

“Under his failed leadership, our military is being destroyed, and he doesn’t deserve to serve any longer. This is the first time in the 118th Congress the Holman rule has been used to hold a Biden official accountable. It’s time for more," she continued.

The Holman Rule is a provision that allows members of Congress to reduce the salary, fire federal employees, or cut specific programs during the appropriations process. The provision was first adopted in 1876. It has been dropped and reinstated at various times since its inception. Earlier this year, the GOP-led House revived the measure for the 118th Congress. The order was not adopted for the 116th and 117th Congresses. (pdf)

"Secretary Austin has not fulfilled his job duties," Ms. Greene said on the House floor. "As a matter of fact, he's destroying our military. During Secretary Austin's tenure, military recruitment has reached crisis levels of low recruitment."

A prominent World Economic Forum (WEF) official has called for an 86 percent reduction in the population of humans to give the globalist elite a “higher standard of living.”

The call was made by Dennis Meadows, who argues that the massive depopulation goal can be achieved “peacefully.”

Meadows is one of the main authors of the Club of Rome’s 1972 pro-depopulation book “The Limits to Growth.”

He is an honorary member of the Club of Rome and a member of the World Economic Forum.

Despite his book being published over 50 years ago, it forms a key part of the WEF’s agenda and his ideology is still very anti-human.

Meadows argues that most of the world’s population must be wiped out so that the survivors can “have freedom” and a “high standard of living.”

During a 2017 interview, Meadows claims that genocide of 86% of the world’s population is “inevitable.”

The European Union’s thought and speech police have issued a stern warning to Elon Musk that his social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, must comply with the EU’s Digital Services Act. The law will force social media companies to remove so-called hate speech and disinformation from their platforms.

The plan is to take the EU law global and force companies in America and other nations to shut down voices that the thought and free speech Nazi police deem to be offensive.

The EU is using Russian news as the poster child for the drive to restrict free speech. EU thought police claim that Russian propaganda is confusing the public about the Ukraine Russia war.

Google, Microsoft, Tik Tok, Facebook, and LinkedIn have already signed in to enforce the new EU anti-free speech law. Elon Musk is the only major hold out who has not caved in and promised to deplatform people the EU Nazis don’t like.

As a budget showdown looms in Congress, MAGA Republicans are alone in challenging the vast quantities of American weapons and cash being funneled to Kiev, with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene warning The Grayzone that increasing escalation could turn the proxy war into a “potential nuclear conflict.” When approached for comment, progressive members of the ‘Squad’ dodged our questions.

When the US House of Representatives passed a stopgap funding measure Tuesday evening, the lone Republican no-vote against it was cast by Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.

The rules package brought four appropriations bills to the floor, two of which would provide additional funding for the Ukrainian government.

Green and fellow Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz succeeded in convincing House GOP Speaker Kevin McCarthy to separate Ukraine funding from the Department of Defense Appropriations bill. The Ukraine funding bill passed by a healthy majority, with 117 GOP representatives and zero Democrats voting against the bill.

Rain has started to ease in New York but officials are warning that a flood risk remains in place after the region was pounded with the heavy deluge.

Heavy rain caused flooding across the region on Friday, leading Gov. Kathy Hochul to declare a state of emergency, as rising waters disrupted travel and stranded people in cars and homes.

The flood watch has been cancelled for all locations except New Haven County, Connecticut and Suffolk County New York as of Friday night.

But as city officials warned New Yorkers to stay at home and brace for the worst, startling scenes began to emerge around the city.

A whirlpool formed above a storm drain in Brooklyn, water gushing into brownstone basements with people seeking refuge outside and a sea lion attempting to escape her enclosure.
