Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo was the latest and perhaps highest-profile Democrat to slam Joe Biden's re-election campaign.

Cuomo, who was forced to resign from the governor's office in 2023 over sexual harassment claims, was critical of the president and his fellow Democrats on several issues on HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher Friday.

Maher - who qualified that he feels 81-year-old Biden is too old and should've dropped out - wanted Cuomo's analysis of the campaign he's running now that it appears he's staying in the race.

'I don't think he's running an especially good campaign, frankly,' Cuomo said. 'I think there's a big question that he has to answer which is about his age, viability.'

Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao's home was raided by the FBI over pay-to-play allegations against her boyfriend, a former aide claims - with the worker also revealing a huge upset in the pair's relationship.

The Democrat lawmaker's home on Maiden Lane was searched around 5:30 am PT Thursday.

Renia Webb, who served as Thao's chief of staff for 18 months, says she's been interview by federal agents and believes they may be looking into her boyfriend Andre Jones.

Webb - who says she ran her office and her campaign - accuses Jones of classic pay-to-play corruption, including trying to lobby for jobs for Thao's donors and allies.

Democratic Rep. Pramila Jayapal laughed at recent coverage of an illegal migrant arrested for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl and called it 'fear-mongering' on an appearance with Joy Reid.

Reid argued some Americans believe immigrants commit more crimes because networks report it more. She specifically called out Fox News.

The Congressional Progressive Caucus chairwoman was then shown a chyron from the network about the arrest of Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, 25, after he was accused of binding, gagging and raping the girl in a park in Queens, New York.

Reid suggested falsely that Fox News hadn't covered Biden's executive order protecting up to 500,000 migrants from deportation.

Just two weeks after Craft Ventures co-founder David Sacks hosted a high-profile fundraiser for former President Trump at his Silicon Valley mansion, filled with venture capitalists and tech elites, Trump made an appearance on Sacks' podcast on Thursday, covering a wide range of topics from taxes and tariffs to energy to artificial intelligence to foreign policy decisions to Ukraine to China to Covid to immigration and many other issues the Biden administration seems to be failing on.

The podcast features Sacks, entrepreneurs Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, and David Friedberg, who spoke with Trump for about 50 minutes - asking intelligent and clear questions. There were no 'gotchas' like you see with corporate media activists.

America's status as the world's greatest power will end for the same reason as its predecessors - crushed by a mountain of debt that politicians find convenient to ignore, historians have warned.

And the United States' century at the top could be coming to an end quicker than expected with countries in Asia increasingly likely to pull the plug.

Interest payments on the debt overtook spending on defense earlier this month, but it will not be force of arms that brings the country down, according to historian Professor Niall Ferguson.

'Any great power that spends more on debt service than on defense will not stay great for very long,' he said in a piece he penned for Bloomberg, explaining a theory he calls Ferguson's Law.

Six years after California legalized marijuana, the bodies keep piling up. Earlier this year, six men were murdered in the Mojave Desert. Four of the men had been burned after being shot with rifles. In 2020, seven people were killed at an illegal pot operation in Riverside County.

Violence like this was supposed to disappear after legalization. Legalization advocates argued that making the drug trade legal would end the grip of the cartels. Instead, the legal market has failed, and the cartels are taking over sizable parts of California and the rest of the country.

California's legal drug revenues have fallen consistently, as have those in other legal drug states including Colorado, whose model helped sell the idea that drug money would fix everything.

Despite falling revenues, Colorado legislators brag about $282 million in drug revenue. That number may sound high, but it's a drop in the bucket considering the money that the state and cities like Denver are spending on homelessness, drug overdoses and law enforcement.

While the legal drug business is also collapsing in California, the state is spending a fortune fighting marijuana even as it tries to tax it. Gov. Gavin Newsom paradoxically promised to close the budget deficit with $100 million in drug revenue, meant to be used to fund law enforcement and fight substance abuse. The state seized over $300 million in illegal pot this year and uses satellite imagery and heavily-armed raids to fight untaxed marijuana.

But despite all those efforts, illegal marijuana has won and legal marijuana has lost

If you are looking for hugely controversial – and some say out-of-touch – opinions, look no further than The View. These vocal ladies really believe their bloated thoughts are critically important, perhaps because cameras are pointing at them. But time and again, they run afoul of millions of Americans.

That is doubly true when they talk about politics. Even the “conservative” co-host they roll out from time to time rarely expresses a real conservative view, as Republicans often say.

Recently, the co-hosts were complaining about—you guessed it—Donald Trump. Joy Behar was in rare form, attacking a recent decision by Louisiana to post the Ten Commandments in public schools. She then used that to attack the former president, and in the same breath she managed to insult every Christian who will back the Republican this fall.

From Daily Caller:
“The View” co-host Joy Behar suggested Thursday that people who vote for former President Donald Trump are not true Christians…

When Nancy Pelosi was in charge, she conducted a commission aimed at blaming Donald Trump for the unfortunate events of January 6, 2021. She put together a team of anti-Trump Democrats and a few RINOs (notably, most of those Republicans are now out of a job).

The event was more for show, as Pelosi sought to air hearings on prime-time TV … I guess she still thinks it’s 1998 when people watched primetime TV.

Among the many controversial moves this commission made were criminal referrals for several Trump allies who refused to testify. These private citizens refused subpoenas for what they believed was a witch hunt against a former president, and now two of these men are now facing jail time for not playing ball with Pelosi. But House Republicans are working to right this wrong.

From Daily Wire:
A group of more than two dozen House Republicans unveiled this week a resolution that aims to rescind January 6 Committee subpoenas against several associates of former President Donald Trump.

Tim Sheehy is a former Navy SEAL who graduated from the United States Naval Academy and served multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He earned a Bronze Star with Valor for his distinguished service and a Purple Heart for his wounds. And after leaving the Navy, he started a successful aerial firefighting business which now employs 200 people.

Fed up with the direction of the country, Sheehy is now running for Senate in the state of Montana and hoping to unseat his opponent— Montana’s incumbent Senator Jon Tester.

Tester has represented Montana in the Senate since 2007, during which time the national debt has increased by more than $25 trillion.

Senator Testor has certainly played his part in helping to expand the debt; he has consistently voted for almost every big-spending, deficit increasing piece of legislation that comes across his desk.

For 17 years he passed massive budget deficits; raised the debt ceiling; handed out trillions of dollars of free money during COVID; and sent endless, unchecked funds to Ukraine.

Then, when his free-spending policies resulted in the worst inflation the country had seen in four decades, Tester then voted for the pitifully named “Inflation Reduction Act”, which has resulted in even higher food, fuel, and housing prices.

But according to Tester, it’s people like Tim Sheehy— the wounded Navy SEAL veteran who started a successful business— who are to blame.

Patty Morin, the mother of the murder victim Rachel Morin, revealed that Donald Trump called her. The former president offered condolences for the tragic loss of her daughter—whose murder left five children without a mother. Patty said Trump was “genuine and truly wanted to know how our family was coping.”

On the other hand, Patty stated that nobody within the Biden administration has reached out to her or anyone else in the family. When asked about Rachel Morin’s murder, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas refused to take responsibility. He didn’t even mention Rachel’s name and instead blamed a “criminal” for the act.

Yet Mayorkas, who has allowed millions of illegals to flood the country, ignored the fact that this criminal was in America because of him. Mayorkas, under Biden’s direction, is letting in potentially dangerous people. Mayorkas’ orders to Border Patrol are preventing the agency from deporting these criminals out of the country, and despite all his denials, Mayorkas has no intention of fixing this problem.

When Joe Biden entered office, some taxpayers were worried. The career politician was likely going to use his power to pass massive spending bills that would burn up tax dollars but may not actually achieve anything tangible. And many say this is exactly what happened: Biden’s administration has spent trillions of dollars within the last few years.

And we could ask, what do we have for that? Well, it seems we’ve got, among other things, a wide open border, raging crime, rampant inflation, and two wars overseas.

But one of the biggest failures of the Biden administration has only come to light this week. The Washington Times pointed out how Biden allocated $42 billion to a project that could have helped countless Americans—especially conservatives in rural areas. Now, tech billionaire Elon Musk is pointing out what really happened.

From The Blaze:
Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk ridiculed the Biden administration for spending more than $42 billion while failing to provide high-speed internet to any home or business after three years.

Webmaster addition: Where did that money go? Maybe to companies that kicked it back as campaign donations?

In recent months, most polling has been very bad for Joe Biden. Many swing state polls showed him losing to Trump and in some cases, he was losing very badly. This has terrified Democrats, and the Biden campaign even agreed to debate Trump, knowing he likely couldn’t recover without doing so.

Even then, many are convinced that Biden is sure to fumble horribly during these debates.

But, to the shock of millions, Fox News came out with a poll this week showing Biden winning: without much explanation, Fox claimed Biden is leading Trump nationally by 2 points. This contradicted everything we’ve seen recently and convinced many that Fox News is no longer a reliable source. One of Fox’s former contributors, Gov. Sarah Sanders, weighed in on this news.

From Fox News:
“I don’t actually put a lot of stock into national polls,” Sanders said, dismissing concern about a rebound for Biden.

“I think the place that really matters is the issues that are driving voters, and they’ll ultimately pick their candidate of choice on. And when you look at both battleground polls and issues that drive voters – the economy, the border, national security – Trump is dominating in all of those. I still think this is his race.” …

In any debate, having the final word can be a significant advantage. It allows the speaker to make a lasting impression, counter any last-minute attacks, and reinforce their key messages.

For Trump, known for his rhetorical prowess and sharp comebacks, this is like handing a maestro the conductor’s baton right at the climax of a symphony.

Think about it: Trump will have the opportunity to leave the audience with his unfiltered thoughts. This is huge. It’s not just about rebutting Biden’s points; it’s about framing the narrative as the debate closes.

This could very well tip the scales in Trump’s favor, especially among undecided voters.

Jim Hoft reported yesterday that America First Legal (AFL) released documents demonstrating how the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) put together a since-disbanded DHS intel group that included Deep State goons John Brennan and James Clapper to reclassify political dissent under the guise of “public health” so that ordinary Americans felt empowered to rat on their neighbors.

Now, AFL has released an even more infuriating batch of documents that should send chills straight up your spine because Trump supporters are on the menu.

These newly released internal files by AFL show the Biden regime classifies someone as a person likely to commit “domestic violent extremist” attacks. But instead of focusing on actual threats like Antifa and pro-Hamas supporters, they have declared Trump supporters as enemies of the state instead.

The Kremlin warned on Monday that any expansion of NATO military infrastructure in Ukraine would cross one of President Vladimir Putin's "red lines", and Belarus said it had agreed to take action with Moscow to counter growing NATO activity. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, a close Moscow ally, accused the United States of setting up training centres in Ukraine which he said amounted to military bases. He said he had discussed the issue with Putin. "It's clear we need to react to this...(We) agreed that we need to take some kind of measures in response," Lukashenko was quoted as saying by the RIA news agency. Ukraine began joint military exercises with U.S. and other NATO member troops last week, while Russia and Belarus held large-scale drills that alarmed the West.

As fighting rages across Ukraine, two versions of reality that underlie the conflict stare across a deep divide, neither conceding any truth to the other. The more widespread and familiar view in the West, particularly in the United States, is that Russia is and has always been an expansionist state, and its current president, Vladimir Putin, is the embodiment of that essential Russian ambition: to build a new Russian empire. “This was … always about naked aggression, about Putin’s desire for empire by any means necessary,” President Joe Biden said on Feb. 24, 2022. The opposing view argues that Russia’s security concerns are in fact genuine, and that NATO expansion eastward is seen by Russians as directed against their country. Putin has been clear for many years that if continued, the expansion would likely be met with serious resistance by the Russians, even with military action.

Crimea voted to secede from Ukraine in a referendum that most of the world has condemned as illegal. Early results – when 50% of the votes were counted – showed that 95.5% of ballots were in favour of joining Russia. Russia's lower house of parliament will pass legislation allowing Ukraine's southern Crimea region to join Russia "in the very near future", news agency Interfax cited its deputy speaker as saying on Monday morning. "Results of the referendum in Crimea clearly showed that residents of Crimea see their future only as part of Russia," Sergei Neverov was quoted as saying. Dozens of countries have sided with Britain against Russia after Moscow was accused of using a military-grade nerve agent to poison former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in England last month. Britain's top military laboratory said Tuesday that it cannot verify the nerve agent in the March 4 poisoning came from Russia. [See following article about Farage interview]
