“The story of its ruin is simple and obvious; and, instead of inquiring why the Roman Empire was destroyed, we should rather be surprised that it had subsisted so long. The victorious legions, who, in distant wars, acquired the vices of strangers and mercenaries, first oppressed the freedom of the republic, and afterwards violated the majesty of the purple. The emperors, anxious for their personal safety and the public peace, were reduced to the base expedient of corrupting the discipline which rendered them alike formidable to their sovereign and to the enemy; the vigor of the military government was relaxed, and finally dissolved, by the partial institutions of Constantine; and the Roman world was overwhelmed by a deluge of Barbarians.” — Edward Gibbon. The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, Chapter 38 “General Observations on the Fall of the Roman Empire in the West”

Amidst fierce competition for viewership, the Cable News Network (CNN) is grappling with strategies to attract more viewers to its programs.

Recent data revealed a notable decline in CNN's ratings, reaching a 33-year low.

CNN's Brian Stelter, who frequently warns about the dangers of "disinformation" and accuses others of circulating it, was called out by a college freshman during a recent liberal conference at the University of Chicago for his network's long history of pushing false or misleading stories.

"With mainstream corporate journalists becoming little more than apologists and cheerleaders for the regime, is it time to finally declare that the canon of journalistic ethics is dead or no longer operative?" Christopher Phillips asked the "Reliable Sources" host. The college student also asked why "mistakes" by CNN all tend to favor Democrats and work against Republicans.

Stelter didn't address the substance of the questions asked by the student. Instead, he called claims of liberal bias a "popular right-wing talking point." CNN sounds the alarm about the dangers of disinformation, but has also been a purveyor of disinformation themselves.

“I think bird flu is going to be the cause of the great pandemic – where they’re teaching these viruses to be more infectious for humans,” he said.

Dr. Robert Redfield, the former Director for the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) under the Trump Administration, recently divulged in an interview for the third time publicly that he believes bird flu will be seen as the “great pandemic,” attributing it to a lab-leak from gain-of-function escape from a laboratory.

Redfield expressed his viewpoint in a short interview with Newsweek on April 8th, talking about new supposed allegations in the quest to discover the true origins of Covid-19. Unlike his counterpart Dr. Anthony Fauci, who has supposedly disagreed and quarreled with Fauci on different occasions, Redfield has argued with Fauci on the origins of Covid-19 and how to treat it. Redfield very early on claimed Covid-19 was the result of gain-of-function experimentation that leaked from a lab.

Near the end of the interview, Redfield shifted his attention towards bird flu and the current spread that’s going on right now. Redfield said: “Right now, it takes five amino acid changes for it to be effectively infecting humans. That’s a pretty heavy species barrier – but this virus is already in 26 mammal species, as you most recently saw cattle. But in the laboratory, I could make it highly infectious for humans in just months.”

House Republicans Take the Lead in Preventing Any Accountability for Israel’s War Crimes

House Republicans are reportedly working on a bill to sanction the International Criminal Court, after its top prosecutor sought the arrest of both Israeli and Hamas leaders in connection with the Gaza conflict.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Louisiana Republican, said it was “disgraceful” and “lawless” to hold Israel accountable.

The UN agency for Palestinian refugees reports that 800,000 Palestinians have been driven from Rafah in the past week, but Biden declares there is no genocide in Gaza and that America will “always stand with Israel.”

Both US political parties support genocide. Be a Proud American.

Yet another fleet of Boeing airplanes was found to have a potentially disastrous flaw — one that could set the entire aircraft ablaze.

The aircraft manufacturer discovered that its 777 liners have poor electrical insulation near its fuel tank, according to a proposed rule the Federal Aviation Administration posted in March.

“This condition, if not addressed, could result in an ignition source inside the fuel tank and subsequent fire or explosion,” the Airworthiness Directives note states.

The World Health Organization (WHO) body of experts are set to convene in Geneva, Switzerland, at their 77th World Health Assembly from May 27 to June 1, 2024. At the assembly, WHO’s member countries will cast their votes on the final version of the agency’s “pandemic agreement.”

This agreement will give the beleaguered agency more power over sovereign nations, including the power to order targeted lockdowns and mitigation measures. The agreement will allow a global body of experts to use surveillance tools and implement broader mandates for PCR testing, masks, so-called vaccines and other countermeasures. Right now WHO is developing a standardized algorithm to quantify airborne transmission risk to dictate public policies on human interactions.

Winston Churchill’s Jewish handler, Professor Frederick Lindemann (1886-1957), who hated Germans and Whites with a passion, envisioned a unified world behind a single global government. He claimed that a small elite would one day rule the world and that “a society governed by supermen and served by helots would be more stable.”[1] He also believed that science would eventually produce a race of men with the “mental characteristics of worker bees.”

“In Lindemann’s Jewish supremacist worldview,” notes author M. S. King, “the ‘worker bees’ would be mixed-race and the ‘supermen’ would no doubt be the Jewish Globalist elite. Naturally, before this New World Order could emerge, the ‘White Man’ would have to first ‘abdicate’ his leading position in Europe and America.”[2]
Here is a brief excerpt from The Prof one of the many books on doomsday prophet F. Lindemann, who hated Whites intensely:

Professor Frederick Lindemann, the Chief Advisor to Winston Churchill and the inspiration and architect of the air crucifixion of Germany was in a reflective mood after the war. Towards the end of his life, Lindemann made a remark on more than one occasion with such an air of seriousness that he seemed to regard it as his testament of wisdom, and I accordingly feel it incumbent upon me to record it here, although not in perfect sympathy with it.

“Do you know,” he asked, “what the future historians will regard as the most important event of this age?”

“Well, what is it?”

“It will not be Hitler and the Second World War; it will not be the release of nuclear energy; it will not be the menace of Communism.”

These negatives seemed very comprehensive. He put on an expression of extreme severity and turned down the corners of his lips: “It will be the abdication of the White man.” Then he nodded his head up and down several times to drive home his proposition.

In the ongoing battle by US University administrators to remove the correct definition of “Genocide” from the minds of their students including the one provided by Websters and Oxfords’, the campus re-education program at the University of California/ San Diego over the past two weeks is proving unsuccessful.

The tents may be gone. The “Constant of Conscience” of their students has not.

In the opening salvo in the “War For Your Mind,” as shown at UC San Diego the students have already learned the practical importance of the First Rule of Democracy. As showcased in an homage to the students, “On the Importance of Tents, it is a force to be reckoned with. Last week it produced for the UCSD students their first victory.

How sweet was that taste, this time?

Meanwhile, geriatric America does nothing but pray for their orange savior to hopefully get it right this time after November and in turn swallow the excuses for Israeli genocide faster than their next vodka and tonic.

Thankfully, the age of mortality in America is ever plummeting and therefore providing a small degree of hope.

The “Soviet Threat” which became Washington’s foreign policy mindset was a self-serving creation of Allen and John Foster Dulles. The consequences of their creation and its recreation by the US neoconservatives await us unaddressed.

Some years ago I reviewed Stephen Kinzer’s book, The Brothers, an extraordinary account of two men long serving at the top of the US government, Secretary of State John Foster Dulles and CIA Director Allen Dulles.

Both were appointed to office by President Eisenhower. Allen Dulles was the Director of the CIA, and John Foster Dulles was the Secretary of State. The interests of the two men’s law firm became in effect the agenda of the government of the United States.

Both men used their power in service of their powerful law firm, Sullivan & Cromwell. Both are examples of the privatization of government to serve private interests. Foreign government that got in the way of their firm’s clients’ interests, they plotted to overthrow.

To justify their use of the US government in service to the clients of their law firm, the brothers invented the “communist threat of world subversion” and inaugurated the Cold War. The brothers came up with six monsters to destroy.

An Ohio Democrat looks to be test-driving a new phrase for the gun control lobby; rebranding semi-automatic firearms as “mass casualty weapons” in a new bill that would ban their possession and use across the state.

So what exactly is a “mass casualty weapon”, at least in the eyes of Dayton Democrat Rep. Willis Blackshear? As his legislation defines it:

“Mass casualty weapon” means any semi-automatic firearm designed or specially adapted to fire more than thirty one cartridges without reloading, other than a firearm chambering only .22 caliber short, long, or long-rifle cartridges.

An anti-gun judge could easily interpret this to ban the possession of any semi-automatic firearm with a detachable magazine, which I suspect is Blackshear's intent. He could have written a bill banning magazines over 30-rounds if he wanted, but instead he (or more likely, his friends at Everytown) decided to go after a broad ban on semi-automatic firearms; daring Republicans to support the ownership and carrying of “mass casualty weapons”.

Israel must take six punitive measures against the Palestinian Authority to combat its push for unilateral statehood and its legal campaign against the Jewish state, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said on Wednesday.

“At the last cabinet meeting, many ministers, including myself, made an unequivocal demand that harsh punitive measures be taken against the Palestinian Authority for its unilateral actions against Israel,” Smotrich said.National Security Adviser Tzahi Hanegbi was tasked with creating an action plan, but to date, nothing has happened, Smotrich said.He spoke up just after Ireland, Spain, and Norway announced their unilateral recognition of Palestinian statehood and two days after International Criminal Court Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan announced his intent to pursue arrest warrants against top Israeli and Hamas leaders.Smotrich called on Netanyahu to enact a six-point plan that included withholding tax fees collected on behalf of the PA and accelerating West Bank settlement construction.

The latest climate information video released by the Germany-based European Institute for Climate and Energy (EIKE) presents a recent paper by Huang et al appearing in the journal Geophysical Research Letters: “Contrasting Responses of Atlantic and Pacific Tropical Cyclone Activity to Atlantic Multidecadal Variability

The paper examines the influences of Atlantic Multidecadal Variability (AMV) on global tropical cyclones (TCs)

The north Atlantic undergoes approximately 60-year cycles of warmer and colder than normal sea surface temperatures. These changes in thermal surface energy play a role on modulating climate globally, especially in combination with other oceanic cycles.

Compared to the AMV negative phases, the AMV positive phase “significantly increases tropical cyclone frequency in the North Atlantic, including those making landfalls,” The authors found. “The increase is explained by warmer sea surface temperature, higher relative humidity, increased relative vorticity, and weaker vertical wind shear under the AMV positive phase.”

Authored by Andrew Korybko via Substack,

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen warned last week that Russia will ramp up its meddling ahead of next month’s parliamentary elections, which preceded European Commission Vice President Vera Jourova assessing that they’d be a test of the bloc’s disinformation resilience. This speculation is nothing new, but what’s different this time around is that the attempted assassination of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico will be on every voter’s mind, thus likely influencing the outcome.

The preceding hyperlinked analysis argued that fake news was responsible for radicalizing the pro-Ukrainian suspect into thinking that shooting his premier was a legitimate form of protest against what he’d been misled by the media into believing was his “pro-Russian dictator with blood on his hands”. This black swan event might have served the short-term interests of that leader’s many enemies, but the blowback could be considerable if it leads to a conservative landslide during next month’s elections.

Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban predicted that the upcoming vote will influence the direction of war and peace in Europe, and while the European Parliament admittedly can’t do much in terms of shaping the NATO-Russian proxy war in Ukraine, it could still exert positive pressure if conservatives win. It’s with that in mind that Eurocrats like von der Leyen and Jourova are fearmongering about Russian meddling since they want to preemptively discredit this potential outcome.

To be sure, the first of those two had no idea that an assassination attempt would be made against Fico the day after she shared her earlier mentioned warning, but the second’s assessment about the upcoming elections being a test of the bloc’s disinformation resilience came some days later. Instead of speaking vaguely about alleged Russian meddling, the Eurocrats are now honing their information warfare narrative to muddle the conversation about Fico’s attempted assassination and its political aftermath.

The targeted audience is the unclear number of on-the-fence voters who might usually lean liberal but have recently begun to sympathize with some conservative positions on issues like Ukraine. Last week’s incident was driven by the liberal media’s fake news about the Slovak leader, which might influence some of these voters to give the more narratively responsible conservatives their support. In an attempt to desperately prevent this, the Eurocrats want them think that it would be doing Russia’s bidding.

If the European Parliamentary elections have absolutely no effect on anything, then they wouldn’t care who votes for whom, but the outcome will clearly at the very least have a major impact on popular perceptions and could lead to cascading consequences like more anti-war protests across the bloc. It’s for this reason that the Eurocrats and their media allies, including those being promoted by state-run Ukrainian outlets like this one here, are pushing the abovementioned information warfare narrative.

The growing gap between liberals and conservatives over Ukraine, which is foreign policy issue that Fico was most closely associated with, is naturally occurring as a result of their polar opposite worldviews and not due to Russian meddling. It’s so emotive and significant that some from both sides have become single-issue voters who’ll cast their ballots purely based on candidates’ positions towards this. Attempting to discredit this trend as being due to Russian meddling is disrespectful to democracy.
