Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) slammed the U.S. Department of Justice late this week for the charges it brought against President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, arguing that special counsel David Weiss effectively insulated the White House.
Mayoral candidate John Gomes’ campaign released a damning video on Saturday showing evidence of election fraud in the recent Bridgeport Democratic primary. The video has prompted an investigation by the Bridgeport Police Department for “possible misconduct.”
The video on the Gomes campaign’s Facebook page shows a woman dropping stacks of ‘illegal’ ballots into an absentee ballot box outside the Bridgeport government center, where the city’s Registrar of Voters office is located, CT Mirror reported.
The Gomes campaign was able to identify the woman in the footage as Wanda Geter-Pataky, the Vice Chairwoman of the Democratic Town Clerk and a vocal supporter of incumbent Mayor Joe Ganim, who is seeking reelection. Gomes’ campaign claims that the video shows Geter-Pataky dropping off stacks of absentee ballots ahead of the September 12th primary.
“Video surveillance proving that the mayoral election was unequivocally stolen through corruption within City Hall by tampering with absentee ballots,” John Gomes said on his Facebook page.
The foreign-born population of the United States is reaching record highs under the Biden administration.
Those from outside of the country amounted to 46 million people as of 2022, up nearly one million from the year before, according to Census Bureau data reviewed by NPR.
That’s an all-time record in terms of population, and as a percentage of the population.
The overall percentage of the national population that is foreign-born increased to 13.9 percent.
On Thursday, Rasmussen Reports released a 2024 Georgia presidential poll between leading 2024 presidential candidate and 45th President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden, as per usual, won by a landslide.
Rasmussen Reports and The Absolute Truth with Emerald Robinson surveyed 1,061 Georgia likely voters between September 8 -11 and found that if the 2024 presidential election were held today, President Trump would beat Joe Biden with a nine-point landslide victory, with 47 percent to Biden’s 38 percent.
“I’m the leading candidate by 50 points, and I’m leading Biden by a lot. And they want to see if they can silence me,” Trump correctly said during a speech on Friday at the Pray Vote Stand Summit.
“A majority (52%) of Georgia voters believe it’s likely that cheating affected the outcome of the 2020 presidential election in the state, including 30% who say it’s Very Likely cheating affected the election outcome. Thirty-five percent (35%) don’t think it’s likely the 2020 Georgia election was affected by cheating, including 22% who say it’s Not At All Likely. Another 13% are not sure,” Rasmussen reported.
Although Joe Biden reportedly beat Trump with 49.5 percent to Trump’s 49.3 percent in the 2020 presidential election, Rasmussen found that only 39 percent of respondents said they voted for Biden, while 46 percent said they voted for Trump.
Daily Mail revealed that the ‘mystery man’ with whom GOP congresswoman Lauren Boebert was booted out of a Denver theater Sunday night is none other than Colorado local and Aspen bar owner Quinn Gallagher – a Democrat.
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has appeared in a video online just days after unconfirmed reports suggested the key Kremlin ally was critically ill.
In a video posted to Kadyrov's Telegram account, the leader of the southern Russian republic filmed himself walking through the rain in an unspecified location, with a separate video showing a tarmac path with turf and a line of trees appearing to be captured from Kadyrov's point of view.
"I strongly advise everyone who cannot distinguish truth from lies on the internet to take a walk in the fresh air and put their thoughts in order," Kadyrov wrote in the caption of the two videos, uploaded to social media on Sunday.
Newsweek is not able to independently verify when, nor where, the video appearing to show Kadyrov was recorded. The Russian Foreign Ministry has been contacted for comment via email.
A homeowner in Georgia took matters into his own hands when he shot an intruder not once, but twice, after the intruder appeared to taunt him over the first gunshot wound he sustained.
According to Fayette County Sheriff Barry Babb, the incident occurred on Thursday when the homeowner called the police about the intruder. Simultaneously, the home's alarm company also alerted the authorities about the presence of an intruder.
Upon confronting the intruder in the basement, the homeowner issued a warning before firing a single gunshot that struck the intruder. Seeking to protect himself, the homeowner positioned himself at the top of the staircase on the second story of the house.
However, the situation took a turn when the suspect began ascending the stairs and defiantly told the homeowner, "You're gonna have to kill me." In response, the homeowner fired a second shot.
Deputies arrived on the scene shortly thereafter and struggled with the intruder to take him into custody. The suspect, who sustained two gunshot wounds, was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment. Sheriff Babb revealed that the suspect is believed to be connected to a "string of crimes," including a possible murder outside of Georgia. Law enforcement authorities in the separate state are collaborating with local police in their investigation.
Several organizations fueled by Democrat-aligned and left-wing funds have launched efforts in recent weeks to remove former President Donald Trump from the 2024 election ballot.
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), funded by left-wing donors like George Soros’ Foundation to Promote Open Society, filed a lawsuit Sept. 6 to remove Trump from the ballot in Colorado, citing the 14th Amendment’s language disqualifying anyone who took an oath to the Constitution and then “engaged in insurrection” from holding office. Free Speech for People and Mi Familia Vota Education Fund, also backed by left-wing donors, launched a campaign urging top state election officials and Secretaries of State to remove Trump from the ballot based on the same 14th amendment claims.
Free Speech for People’s legal director Ron Fein has also promised on multiple occasions to file legal challenges against Trump before 2024 primaries in multiple states. The organization filed a lawsuit against Trump in Minnesota on Tuesday.
Mi Familia Vota receives funds from multiple non-profits in Democrat-linked consultant firm Arabella Advisors’ network, including the New Venture Fund, the Sixteen Thirty Fund and the Hopewell Fund. The New Venture Fund granted the organization $290,000 in 2021 and $275,000 in 2020, while the Sixteen Thirty Fund provided $130,000 in 2021, according to tax documents.
The Hopewell Fund awarded Mi Familia Vota $150,000 in 2021 and $40,000 in 2020, per tax records. The funds from Arabella Advisors non-profit were provided either for “civil rights, social action, advocacy” or “environmental programs.”
Four years after the Hunter Biden scandal first burst into the limelight, news media fact-checkers are still revising their narratives. Once declarative in their findings, the latest fact checks have begun to hedge and equivocate in the face of contradictory evidence uncovered by Congress and open-records litigation.
The freshest example surfaced Friday when The Washington Post’s Glenn Kessler updated his reporting on how Joe Biden as vice president came to withhold $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees in late 2015 to force the firing of the Ukrainian prosecutor whose office was investigating the Burisma Holdings energy firm that employed Hunter Biden.
Citing documents uncovered by Just the News, Kessler admitted for the first time that Joe Biden may have “called an audible,” or changed the plan, on the firing of Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin on his way to Kyiv aboard Air Force Two in December 2015.
This month, Just the News reported newly uncovered State Department and European Union documents, both of which indicated that Ukraine had made adequate progress in its anti-corruption reforms, including within its Prosecutor General’s Office. “Ukraine has made sufficient progress on its reform agenda to justify a third [loan] guarantee” and “the anti-corruption benchmark is deemed to have been achieved,” the State Department Interagency Policy Committee and the EU European Commission confirmed, respectively.
The woman on the phone wanted Jose Mendoza to know that she wasn’t “about throwing people out on the street.”
“We want to help you,” she said in a voicemail. Still, his family had to leave. “I want you to know your house has been foreclosed,” she said. She told Jose that the house his family had been living in for seven years — the house that he said he had never missed a mortgage payment on, and that he was almost done paying off entirely — had been sold. She said she was calling on behalf of the home’s new owners.
Jose thought it was a scam. But Lupita, Jose’s ex-wife who still lived in the home with their two children, had gotten a similar strange call that week. Conversations with the city and their realtor confirmed what felt unimaginable.
“We realized it was actually true: Someone else owned the house,” said Naomi Mendoza, Jose and Lupita’s 20-year-old daughter. “We didn't get any notices that our house was going to go on foreclosure,” she said. “We would have done something to prevent all this.”
The Mendozas’ was the latest in a string of foreclosures initiated last year by the homeowners’ association that governed their neighborhood. Their problems had started with a series of $100 to $400 charges for what seemed to them like minor violations — oil-stained pavement; a dead tree — and had snowballed into a debt of more than $6,600, more than half of it HOA attorneys’ fees. They knew they were behind on payments. But they didn’t know that now, like hundreds of Coloradans before them, they would have to pay with their house.
A viral social media post revealing how much Bill Gates profited from the Covid pandemic was viewed over two million times in just two days.
Popular X account Pelham shared the post, writing, “Bill Gates purchased shares in BioNTech (Pfizer’s partner for its mRNA Covid shots) in September 2019… just months before the pandemic was announced…”
“Gates purchased 1,038,674 shares at pre-public offering price of $18.10 per share…” the user explained.
Signs posted around the Olympic venues urge extreme caution. Nine hundred troops stream into the area to help. Worried organizers sequester 1,200 people in their rooms.
Officials are scrambling on the eve of the biggest planned event in South Korea in years — not because of anything related to North Korea and national security, but in an attempt to arrest the spread of norovirus at the Pyeongchang Games.
Many South Koreans have poured scorn on the government's response and preparations asking: are the Games hygienic? What will people think about South Korea? Could this spread to the athletes?
Fears about the virus may turn out to be much ado about nothing. But with a national reputation on the line, officials are scrambling to contain its spread.
Recent reports have shown that the White House-induced inflation has not gone away. Inflation has been consistently higher during the Biden administration than in previous years. The steady increase in the cost of everything has hit working Americans harder than anyone else. Some experts explained that the continued inflation has amounted to a pay decrease for most Americans.
August 2023 saw a new jump in inflation, as Biden’s other blunder–cutting of U.S. oil and gas–contributed to growing costs. American workers are not seeing their pay increase with inflation. Now, a major group of workers is growing very unrestful, thanks to inflation. And this large Democrat voter base might break from the party.
From Breitbart:
The 150,000-member [United Auto Workers union] could go on strike as early as Thursday if they cannot reach an agreement with Detroit’s Big Three automakers over their contracts, which expire this week…
“Look, this is actually the fault of Joe Biden because one of the things driving this strike is the fact that people’s wages have deteriorated so much,” Carney said. “Of course, the unions want to be paid more because they’ve seen their buying power go down. Their cost of living has skyrocketed. So, of course they need to make more money.”
In recent history, whistleblowers within the federal government have turned to House Republicans. These federal employees have divulged information against, in some cases, top federal officials–at great risk to themselves. Using these testimonies, Congress has been able to probe alleged crimes reaching the highest levels of government.
And there seems to be no sign these leaks are stopping. Another whistleblower has approached ranking House committee members. This person is blowing the whistle on one of the most powerful agencies in America. They are accusing the CIA of bribing its own officials. Why? So, they would not out a foreign nation.
From The Post Millennial:
A new letter penned by Reps. Mike Turner (R-OH) and Brad Wenstrup (R-OH), who chair the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, respectively, revealed that a CIA whistleblower has said to Congress that the government agency handed bribes to its own agents so they would claim that Covid did not originate from a laboratory in Wuhan, China.
This is bombshell news, if proven true. According to Republican Reps. Mike Turner and Brad Wenstrup, a “multi-decade, senior-level, current Agency officer” within the CIA is blowing the whistle on an alleged scheme.
In the summer of 2020, America witnessed countless acts of rioting and chaos. Radical activist groups staged protests in most major cities. These events frequently devolved into riots, which inflicted billions of dollars worth of damage to homes, businesses, and communities.
The worst of the rioting happened in Democrat-controlled cities. In Seattle, a BLM march almost ended up being a scene of horrific carnage. A man marched with over 1,000 protestors on their way to a police building. He happened to be carrying 12 Molotov cocktails, intent on burning the building to the ground. Now, three years later, he faces justice.
From Daily Wire:
Authorities sentenced a Washington man to 40 months in prison on Wednesday for his role in a plot to burn down the Seattle Police Officers Guild building…
Justin Christopher Moore, 35, of Renton, created and carried a box of 12 Molotov cocktails during a protest march of over 1,000 people toward the police building in downtown Seattle on Labor Day 2020, according to court documents.
A retired police chief was bicycling when he was run over by a car in Las Vegas. The 64-year-old man later died from his injuries. Police in Nevada suspect that the fatal hit-and-run was intentional after viewing a video that the teens recorded of the deadly collision.
Police say an appalling video uploaded to social media is the smoking gun in a fatal hit-and-run on Aug. 14 that took the life of Andreas Probst.
The shocking video features two teens in a car – which police say was stolen. Video taken by the passenger in the vehicle shows the driver of the car purposely rear-ending a white sedan, and causing it to careen into the median.
One of the teens screams, "B***h a** n****! Stop talking s**t, b***h!"
Then a bicyclist in the bicycle lane is spotted by the teens, and one says, "Ready?" The other eagerly replies, "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Hit his a**."
The teens are heard on video giggling.
The driver pilots the stolen 2016 Hyundai Elantra into the bicycle lane and directly smashes the bicyclist near Tenaya Way and Centennial Parkway. Probst is thrown off his bike, then onto the hood of the car before slamming and shattering the windshield.
I recently wrote a column about five facts that justified the start of an impeachment inquiry.
While I have stressed that I do not believe that there is currently sufficient evidence for an actual impeachment, I am mystified by the claim that there is not ample evidence to warrant an inquiry into possible impeachable offenses.
Notably, CNN just reactivated its fact-checking team for a review of the basis for the inquiry. In so doing, the network made an iron-clad argument in support of the decision by Speaker Kevin McCarthy.
CNN presented this claim:
Claim: Biden family and associates got $20 million through shell companies
“Bank records show that nearly $20 million in payments were directed to the Biden family members and associates through various shell companies,” McCarthy said.
Facts First: This is true about Joe Biden’s family and associates, but there is no public evidence to date that the president personally received any money.
That is a fair fact check but it is also the very reason that Speaker McCarthy initiated the inquiry.
We do not know where this money went, why it was sent through this labyrinth of accounts, or what it was intended to buy. That is why this is an impeachment inquiry.
Earlier this year, the Biden Administration announced its intent to move the United States "as close to Universal Background Checks as possible without additional legislation."
After much speculation on how far-reaching the rule would be, it has finally arrived, and it's worse than expected.
In its current form, the universal background check rule could subject those who sell even a single firearm to dealer requirements, including a background check.
Joe Biden's relationship with his attorney general, Merrick Garland, is so icy it is 'in the deep freeze', according to a report on Saturday.
Biden and his aides are infuriated by Garland's decision to appoint special counsels to investigate both Biden's handling of classified documents, and his son Hunter's business affairs. They told The Wall Street Journal that Garland was seen as going too far in his effort to appear independent from Biden, who appointed him.
But Garland's aides told the paper that the widely-respected, low-key official was simply trying to stop any suspicion that Biden was influencing his decisions.
Biden, 80, stressed repeatedly in his hiring of Garland, 70, that he was choosing someone with integrity and independence.
Destabilizing the social, political and economic structure of 190 sovereign countries cannot constitute a “solution” to combating the virus. But that was the imposed “solution” which was implemented in several stages from the very outset of the corona crisis in January 2020. It’s the destruction of people’s lives. It is the destabilization of civil society.
Fake science was supportive of this devastating agenda. The lies were sustained by a massive media disinformation campaign. 24/7, Incessant and Repetitive “Covid alerts” in the course of the last two years.
The historic March 11, 2020 lockdown triggered economic and social chaos Worldwide. It was an act of “economic warfare”: a war against humanity.
This diabolical agenda has undermined the sovereignty of nation states.
It has contributed to a wave of bankruptcies. It has impoverished people Worldwide.
It has led to a spiralling dollar denominated global debt.
The powerful structures of global capitalism, Big Money coupled with its intelligence and military apparatus are the driving force.
Using advanced digital and communications technologies, the lockdown and “closure” of the global economy is unprecedented in World history.
In a shocking turn of events, presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been denied Secret Service protection by the federal government, despite his repeated pleas and the constant threats to his safety.
This refusal was brought into sharp focus when an armed man, posing as a federal marshal, infiltrated a campaign event in Los Angeles on Saturday evening.
The Los Angeles Police Department was alerted to a disturbance at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre at 4:30 pm. According to Breitbart, the police reported that "a male was in front of the event venue with 'a badge on their lapel, a gun, and a shoulder holster, and claimed to be a U.S. Marshall.'"
The man alleged to be part of the event staff, however, his claims were not substantiated by any staff member. Breitbart viewed a note provided by an officer at the scene to the campaign that read, "Male imp. fed. agent w/ handgun and ammo exposed. Claimed to be employed for event, but wasn't recognized by sec."
In a significant development, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has been acquitted of 11 out of 16 articles of impeachment by the Texas Senators.
The move comes after a series of allegations were leveled against Paxton, leading to his impeachment trial.
Paxton, a stalwart in the fight against what some perceive as a Democrat-Marxist onslaught in Texas, has been a target of both Democrats and some Republicans within his own party. His staunch conservative stance has earned him both admiration and animosity in equal measure.
The impeachment trial, which commenced on Tuesday, was a result of allegations of misconduct that led to Paxton's impeachment by the Republican-led Texas House in May. As reported by the Associated Press, the charges against Paxton included bribery, unfitness for office, and abuse of public trust, among others.
The Senate decided to consider 16 out of the 20 articles of impeachment against Paxton. A conviction on even a single charge would result in his removal from office. Pending the outcome of the trial, Paxton was placed on administrative leave.
However, in a turn of events, Texas Senators acquitted Paxton on 11 of the 16 articles of impeachment on Saturday. CBS provided a detailed account of the proceedings, reporting that Paxton was acquitted of articles 15, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2 of impeachment.
After 10 months of court battles over the 2022 election, Arizona Republican Kari Lake still has some fight left.
Lake has claimed that the election for governor, which she narrowly lost to Democrat Katie Hobbs, was tainted by misconduct that included malfunctioning election systems and improper signature verification of early voters’ ballots. She launched multiple efforts in Arizona’s state court system to have the results overturned but has not been successful.
She filed her latest appeal of a court ruling that went against her in May, according to the Arizona Republic. That appeal, which dealt with election issues in Maricopa County, was transferred to an appeals court based in Tucson.
Lake’s opening brief in the case says there is new evidence to support her allegations.
How many years has Joe Biden told us a ton of malarkey that he never spoke about business with his son?
After so much evidence came out that they no longer could deny it, the White House then made an Orwellian transposition, claiming they'd always said Biden was never "in business" with his son, which wasn't what he said. In any event, evidence shoots down both of those claims.
We reported on new information about a breakfast meeting with Joe and Hunter Biden, as well as two of his business associates. One of the associates was trying to get a favor from Joe, while Hunter and Devon were trying to have that business associate work with Burisma.
Now, the House Oversight GOP has dropped a new video. The video shows Newsmax's Greg Kelly commenting on a C-Span video from April 22, 2005, of Joe and Hunter Biden in attendance at the Jefferson-Jackson Dinner thrown by the South Carolina Democratic Party.

The chemical in question is Bisphenol A that is often used in plastic packages and therefore praised by the food industry. According to some researchers, BPA may disrupt human hormones and lead to serious conditions, including breast cancer and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Bisphenol A aka BPA – a chemical allegedly responsible for hormone disruption - was found in the bodies the vast majority of adults in Europe, a report by the European Environment Agency has found. Scientists analyzed urine samples of roughly 2800 people from nearly a dozen countries, including Switzerland, France and Germany.
"A recent Horizon 2020 research initiative, HBM4EU, measured chemicals in people's bodies in Europe and detected BPA in the urine of 92 percent of adult participants from 11 European countries," the watchdog said in an official statement.
NATO, in accordance with its new defense plans, can deploy 300,000 soldiers in the first month of a potential attack on the bloc, while the total number of the alliance’s military personnel could reach 3.5 million people, Chair of the NATO Military Committee Adm. Rob Bauer said on Saturday.
"If we are talking about collective defense, you do not have the time to prepare for an attack if the attack happens. And it is not us planning the attack, it is the opponent planning the attack. If they attack, you have to be ready. Therefore, we need more soldiers at high readiness … We are talking, in NATO as a whole if Finland and Sweden have joined, of about 3.5 million soldiers in the alliance. So the 300,000 is the number … that we foresee at high readiness available for basically the first 30 days if it is necessary," Bauer told reporters at a press conference with Norwegian Chief of Defense Gen. Eirik Kristoffersen.
On 12 September, at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, President Vladimir Putin said that the development of the Arctic is a strategic priority for Russia, in addition to the development of the Far East.
Russia will deliver a response to the strengthening of NATO's military potential in the Arctic with a set of appropriate measures, including preventive ones, the Foreign Ministry's Ambassador for Special Assignments, Nikolai Korchunov, said.
"The strategy to reinforce NATO's military capability in this area, which involves Finland's accession to the alliance and Sweden's looming connection to it, highlights the prevalence of aggressive tactics within NATO to safeguard its own security in the northern latitudes, even if it comes at the expense of other nations' security," he stated.
Tim Gurner, founder of the real estate company Gurner Group, with an estimated net worth of $584 million, has gone viral after a comment he made at the Financial Review Property Summit in Sydney this week.
The Australian multimillionaire said, “We need to see unemployment rise. Unemployment has to jump 40-50%, in my view. We need to see pain in the economy. We need to remind people that they work for the employer, not the other way around.” This extreme statement reflects the fact that class warfare is very real – and it’s not workers starting it.
He also said that workers have been “paid a lot to do not too much in the last few years,” which is certainly not true. In the Western world, wages have been decoupled from productivity for decades, with the latter soaring while the former has stagnated. Any modest gains made during the Covid-19 pandemic have mostly evaporated.
