“When the taste for physical gratifications among them has grown more rapidly than their education . . . the time will come when men are carried away and lose all self-restraint . . . . It is not necessary to do violence to such a people in order to strip them of the rights they enjoy; they themselves willingly loosen their hold. . . . they neglect their chief business which is to remain their own masters.” -- Alexis de Tocqueville, Democracy in America: Volume 2

After a disastrous debate performance, the news media, which had been shamelessly gaslighting the public over Joe Biden’s cognitive capacity for years, seemed to turn on the president in unison. Biden stuttered, stumbled, and bumbled his way through a grueling 90 minutes during which he alternated between slurring his confused answers and staring into nowhere with his mouth agape.

Examples of the president’s cognitive decline have become so prevalent that journalists were forced to label any embarrassing videos of the geriatric commander in chief as “cheap fakes” in the hopes of shaming the public into ignoring the obvious. Despite this deep investment in running cover for Biden’s senility in the past, anchors on networks like CNN and MSNBC spent their post-debate spin sessions speculating on the possibility that the elderly leader might need to step aside. This discussion was treated as a sudden revelation instead of acknowledging the self-evident fact: The Biden presidency was a scam from the start.

Contacts in the spy world of the three letter agencies have begun approaching me, unsolicited. They tell me I’m likely being “monitored” because of the nature of my reporting. They tell me that somebody is making my devices behave the way they are. They say the public would be shocked at the extent to which the Obama administration has begun spying on Americans.

At the time, it sounds far-fetched. Edward Snowden hadn’t yet made his public revelations about the NSA’s massive surveillance of Americans. We didn’t yet know the Obama administration had secretly confiscated phone records of AP journalists, tracked the movements of Fox News reporter James Rosen, and gone to extraordinary efforts to stop insiders and whistleblowers from exposing the government’s skeletons.

And we didn’t yet know details of the government’s efforts to spy on me.

Russia's Defense Ministry said on Thursday that its troops destroyed a Mig-29 fighter jet during a strike on an airbase in central Ukraine.

The jet and other equipment and vehicles were destroyed in the base at Dolgintsevo, which was hit by an Iskandar ballistic missile, it said.

The ministry published images of the attack on the Telegram messaging service.

On Tuesday, Russia said it had destroyed five Ukrainian Su-27 fighter jets at a base near Myrgorod, about 150 kilometers (about 90 miles) from the Russian border.

When the 46th President of the United States took the debate stage a week ago, it became apparent, even from his first answer, that this would not be the performance he hoped for.

For me as a brain specialist, it was concerning to watch President Joe Biden, and it quickly became clear that I was not alone in my reaction. Over the past week, I received more than a dozen calls, texts and emails from medical colleagues who, like me, specialize in the brain. It wasn’t that what we noticed was necessarily new but that it was particularly pronounced, and right from the start of the debate.

From a neurological standpoint, we were concerned with his confused rambling; sudden loss of concentration in the middle of a sentence; halting speech and absence of facial animation, resulting at times in a flat, open-mouthed expression. To be clear, these are only observations, not in any way diagnostic of something deeper, and none of these doctors wished to suggest that was the case.

The consensus from the doctors reaching out to me, however, was that the president should be encouraged to undergo detailed cognitive and movement disorder testing, and those results should be made available to the public.

President Joe Biden walked before a row of flags and took his place at a lectern stamped with the presidential seal. A few feet in front of him, thin panes of teleprompter glass, programmed with prewritten remarks, were positioned to meet his stare as he spoke into a microphone that would carry his voice through a soundsystem. His White House press secretary looked on. So did several senior White House officials. Anxiety clung to the humid summer air. What the president was about to say might determine the future of his presidency and perhaps the Republic itself.

Yet this was not to be some grand pronouncement about war or peace or a shift in domestic policy. He was not delivering an official address or even a rally speech. He was not onstage in a stadium or auditorium or perched on a platform in a gilded government or hotel ballroom. He was not speaking to a crowd of thousands or even hundreds. There would be no video of his statement carried live to the world. There would be no photos. And there would be no published audio.

In a tent on the backyard patio of a private home in suburban New Jersey, the president was eye to eye with a small group of powerful Democrats and rich campaign donors, trying to reassure them that he was not about to drop dead or drop out of the presidential race.

President Biden, who at 81 is the oldest person ever to hold the office, has displayed signs of accelerated aging in recent months, said numerous aides, foreign officials, members of Congress, donors and others who have interacted with Biden over the last 3½ years, noting that he moves more slowly, speaks more softly and has moments when he loses his train of thought more often than even just a year ago.

None of those who spoke to The Washington Post said they had seen Biden appear as lost and confused as he did at the presidential debate against Donald Trump on June 27, where his halting performance sent panic through the Democratic Party. They largely did not question his mental acuity, and several senior White House aides who interact with Biden regularly said that he continues to ask probing, detailed questions about complicated policy matters and can recall facts from previous briefings in minute detail.

President Joe Biden proclaimed Friday that he's staying in the presidential race - before telling a crowd in Madison, Wisconsin that he'd beat rival Donald Trump 'again in 2020.'

Biden can't afford to make any missteps as he hits the campaign trail this weekend after last week's disastrous debate in Atlanta.

He'll sit down with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos in Madison as well, for an interview that will air at 8 p.m. ET tonight.

'Well, let me say this as clear as I can - I'm staying in the race,' Biden said at the rally. 'I'll beat Donald Trump. I'll beat him again in 2020. By the way, we're going to do it again in 2024.'

At some point in the next few days, Alec Baldwin will fly into New Mexico to take on one of the most important roles in his life — as the accused.

On Tuesday, at the First Judicial District Court here in downtown Santa Fe, the trial opens in the case of the State v Alexander Rae Baldwin, in which the Emmy award-winning actor is charged with involuntary manslaughter over the fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins, a cinematographer working on the set of his cowboy-themed film, Rust.

When the accident happened in October 2021, Baldwin was the lead actor and co-producer of the low budget production being made at Bonanza Creek Ranch, a movie location facility about 20 miles south of the courtroom, on the road to Albuquerque. He was pointing a gun at Hutchins during a rehearsal when it went off, killing her and wounding director Joel Souza.

Health officials issued an urgent warning after a train carrying toxic materials derailed and exploded into a fireball in North Dakota

Hazmat crews have been deployed to a remote area around 140 miles north of Fargo, after 29 cars of a CPKC train derailed at around 3:45 am on Friday.

The hazardous materials in the train included anhydrous ammonia, sulfur and methanol, which officials warned are being expelled from the wreckage in toxic smoke.

Ammonia is the biggest risk, and if exposed to the compound, it can cause burning to the eyes, nose and throat, as well as blindness, lung damage, and death.

Have you watched the Democrats froth at the mouth over the holiday?

Did you see Joe Biden call himself “the first black female Vice President?”

Did you see the nonstop articles in the media about Biden’s cognitive decline?

Did you see the nonstop articles about Democrat leaders demanding Biden step aside?

Did you see the nonstop articles about Democrat mega-donors saying they are cutting off all funding until Biden steps aside?

It’s all over for poor, feeble, braindead Joe Biden.

There are only two things that matter in politics…and even more so in Democrat politics…money and the mainstream media. Biden has lost them both. He’s finished.

Nashville Judge I’Ashea Myles has decided that none of Nashville school shooter Audrey Hale’s writings should be made public, accepting the dubious argument that Hale’s victims have copyrights to the material—even though the victims haven’t registered with the federal copyright office.

The materials created by Hale are exempted from disclosure based on the federal Copyright Act,Myles said.

“Whether or not an original work of authorship has been registered with the federal copyright office is germane to the amount of recoverable damages in a copyright infringement action, but it has no bearing on whether or not this state law is preempted by federal copyright law,” she said.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Friday that officials can place ballot drop boxes around their communities in this fall’s elections, overturning its own ruling two years ago limiting their use in the presidential swing state.

The court limited the use of drop boxes in July 2022, ruling then that they could be placed only in local election clerks’ offices and no one other than the voter could return a ballot in person.

Conservatives controlled the court at that time, but Janet Protasiewicz’s election victory in April 2023 flipped the court to liberal control. Seeing an opening, Priorities USA, a progressive voter mobilization group, asked the court in February to revisit the decision.

At least 29 other states allow for absentee ballot drop boxes, according to the U.S. Vote Foundation, and expanded use in Wisconsin could have major implications in the presidential race.

Wisconsin again figures to be a crucial swing state after President Joe Biden barely won it in 2020 and Donald Trump narrowly took it in 2016. Democrats believe that making it easier to vote absentee will boost turnout for their side.

A new peer-reviewed study concludes that all cause deaths were higher for those vaccinated with one and two doses compared to the unvaccinated.

“Subjects vaccinated with two doses lost 37 percent of life expectancy compared to the unvaccinated population,” Italian researchers found. The booster doses were determined to be ineffective.

The study, titled, “A Critical Analysis of All-Cause Deaths during COVID-19 Vaccination in an Italian Province,” was conducted by Marco Alessandria, Giovanni M. Malatesta, Franco Berrino, and Alberto Donzell and published on June 30, 2024.

Alessandria etal. analyzed Italian National Healthcare System data on residents or those domiciled in the province of Pescara between January 1, 2021 and February 15, 2023.

Bay Area tech layoffs jumped during the last three months and soared to their highest quarterly totals in over a year, an ominous sign the crucial sector’s wrenching cutbacks have yet to run their course.

During the April-through-June period of this year, tech companies revealed plans to chop well over 7,000 jobs in the Bay Area, according to this news organization’s compilation of official notices that employers sent to the state labor agency.

The recent surge in violent crime has put many Americans on edge, but a particularly disturbing incident has led police to issue a warning to the public. In Aurora, Colorado, a 6-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl were attacked in their home, sparking concerns about a new trend in home invasions.

According to the Aurora Police Department, the attackers disguised themselves in bright orange vests and carried a box to appear as delivery personnel. When the children opened the door, the suspects forced their way inside. The perpetrators, one of whom was armed, ransacked the home while one suspect inappropriately touched the teenage girl.

The children were not alone; a babysitter was present but was overpowered and pushed to the ground along with the young boy. The children’s parents, alerted by their Ring camera, called the police immediately. The entire invasion lasted about a minute, but the thieves managed to escape with jewelry and money.

A notorious German pensioner known as the "Nazi grandma" who has been jailed several times for denying the Holocaust was sentenced to another 16 months at her latest trial on Wednesday.

A Hamburg court convicted Ursula Haverbeck, 95, of denying the Nazi genocide on several occasions, including in 2015 during the trial of a former Nazi camp guard.

In their sentencing, the judges took into account her previous convictions and the fact she had "also used the proceedings to further disseminate her views", a court spokeswoman told AFP.

Haverbeck repeated her remarks on the Holocaust several times at the trial.

Joe Biden just stuck up his middle finger and told Americans everywhere: Screw you.

In a taped interview that lasted only 22 minutes, the President insisted his dire poll numbers weren't real — 'fake news', if you will — that the Democratic party has no concerns about his fitness to lead, and that the only way he would exit the race is 'if the Lord Almighty comes down and tells me'.

What — Barack Obama isn't close enough?

If Americans had a shred of sympathy for Biden after last week's CNN debate — if they felt that perhaps he didn't know how dire his condition was, that likely his family were keeping him in the race for their own purposes — well, Joe took that notion into the public square and shot it dead.

This interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, meant to be damage control, has only further enraged Democrat politicians and big donors who, since that calamitous Trump debate, have pressed the President to step aside.

A bronzed Joe Biden made a bizarre claim about inventing a computer chip during his make-or-break interview Friday.

Biden, 81, would repeatedly respond to questions in a raspy, weary voice, often losing track mid-sentence and at times ignoring questions in an attempt to make occasionally outlandish claims about his record.

The president at one point told George Stephanopoulos that 'we used to have 40 percent of computer chips. We invented the chip, the little chip, the computer chip. It's in everything from cell phone to weapons.'

The first microchip was invented by Texas engineer Jack Kilby in 1958. Biden may have been referring to his administration's efforts to bring chip production back to the US after COVID-related supply chain shortages.

Regardless of age, income, gender, ethnicity or political party, the unlawful COVID-19 mandates and harmful mRNA injections have had profound effects on all Americans. Recognizing the catastrophic harm that was inflicted upon them, millions of Americans want to seek legal recourse against the federal agencies and biopharma companies responsible for fraudulently unleashing the COVID-19 “safe and effective vaccines” on innocent adults and children. The good news is the US Supreme Court is on the side of the American people.

“The easiest way to inject a propaganda idea into most people’s minds is to let it go through the medium of an entertainment picture when they do not realize that they are being propagandized,” explained Elmer Davis, a renowned CBS broadcaster, who had just been named director of the Office of War Information (OWI), a Pentagon program created on June 13, 1942, six months after Pearl Harbor.

Later in 1953, as the Cold War was in full swing, President Dwight D. Eisenhower commented on the burgeoning partnership between Hollywood and the Pentagon by stating that, "the hand of government must be carefully concealed and […] wholly eliminated," adding that the engagement should "be done through arrangements with all sorts of privately operated enterprises in the field of entertainment, dramatics, music and so on."

Thus, the president who coined the term “military industrial complex,” was, in fact, one of the first major proponents of what would later be called the military entertainment complex or the militainment industry.
