"It is not the duty of a patriotic American to listen to the government's lies. It is the duty of a patriotic American to listen to the government's lies, and shout 'BULLSHIT' at the top of their lungs!" -- Michael Rivero

In 2021, an estimated 6.6 percent of U.S. adults were immunosuppressed. “This rate of immunosuppression was higher than the previous national estimate of 2.7 percent using the 2013 [National Health Interview Survey],” the authors wrote in their paper.

The researchers estimated immunosuppression prevalence by analyzing National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) results.

Specifically, the authors analyzed responses to five questions. Over 29,000 individuals were asked if they had a health condition or were taking medication or treatments that would weaken their immune system. They were also asked if they had cancer or malignancy, the type of cancer, and their age at the time of cancer diagnosis.

In 2013, over 34,000 people were interviewed, garnering a response from 75 percent of households. In 2021, only about half of the households contacted responded to the survey.

Why the Rise in Immunosuppression?

“Given the documented increase in immunosuppression, studies are needed to understand the causes for this increase,” the authors wrote. However, they mentioned that the rise in self-reported immunosuppression may be due to increased use of immunosuppressive medications.

The use of adalimumab, a drug used to treat autoimmune conditions, has increased 3.5-fold between 2014 and 2021.

That the U.S. President Joseph Biden, his British, NATO, Israeli allies, and their corporate media mouthpieces are in need of a major propaganda victory is obvious. They are losing the war in Ukraine, have been condemned throughout the world for the genocide in Gaza, and are ruling over a disintegrating empire. Biden and Netanyahu’s political lives are at serious risk. And so they have just rolled out a full-court propaganda press effort aimed at covering their losses. It should be crystal clear to anyone who can use logic to see the timing involved.

The great French scholar of propaganda and technology, Jacques Ellul, wrote years ago that propaganda “is not the touch of a magic wand. It is based on slow constant impregnation. It creates convictions and compliance through imperceptible influences that are effective only by continuous repetition.”

However, once this groundwork has been laid over time – as it has been with the continuous anti-Russia Putin hysteria and support for Israel’s Zionist policies – it can be intensely ratcheted up in exigent circumstances when the long-serving narrative is in jeopardy, such as it is now.

Once the death in a Russian prison of the Western backed Russian dissident Alexei Navalny was announced on Friday, February 16, 2024, it was immediately followed by a cascade of anti-Russia pronouncements whose aim was to not only continue the demonization of Russia and its President Vladimir Putin but to serve other purposes as well.

With one fell stroke, the calm history lesson about Ukraine, Russia, and U.S./NATO that Putin had just delivered to the world via Tucker Carlson disappeared down the memory hole, as Biden, without any evidence, declared that “Putin and his thugs” and Putin’s “brutality” are responsible for Navalny’s death.

This, of course, is a replay of the false charges sans evidence waged against Russia for an earlier poisoning of Navalny, the Skripals (since disappeared by the British government), Alexander Litvinenko, et al.

ZH observes: Gold ended the week with its best day in February, up 6 of the last 7 days to close at the highs since the start of the month...

The march was orderly all week, with only today seeing acceleration…

The weekly chart is looking suspiciously like a Bull Flag…

Most significantly, spot has closed 14 weeks straight north of $2000 in that same time frame…

This market is being accumulated again no doubt about it. Bids underneath are keeping a floor under this market, and shorts are being forced to cover more frequently. We can also confirm our previous reporting the long macro players who bought December 3rd and for days afterwards had expressed their opinions with options.

As noted in our CITI report analysis

Bullish gold options structures put on in late 2023 or early 2024 are decaying as vol realizes poorly and call skew cheapens

They have almost all liquidated now. This is extremely significant in that the market has stayed above $2000 that whole disinvestment cycle.

Boris Johnson apparently told Zelensky that there was no way he could win the war. He flew in, after all the details had been worked out for a peace treaty between Moscow and Kiev, and told Zelensky to never surrender.

This is a democracy. You just have to take it.

They can do whatever they want to you. You can protest and they will just laugh. If you do more than protest, cops will kill you.

Once Ukraine receives F-16 fighter jets it will be free to use them against military targets inside Russia, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has told American state-run media.

Stoltenberg was speaking to RFE/RL for an interview which is scheduled to air on Friday. According to snippets released in advance, the NATO head has argued that Ukraine has the right to self-defense against Russian “aggression,” which would include “striking legitimate Russian military targets outside Ukraine.”

As to when the government in Kiev might actually receive the promised jets, Stoltenberg would not say. Each NATO member that has pledged to deliver them has different policies and will decide themselves, he explained.

While some of Ukraine’s backers want the jets in action as soon as possible, they will have a stronger impact if the pilots are well-trained and there are enough maintenance and support crews on hand, according to Stoltenberg.

Some of the military hardware supplied to Ukraine by the West has become inoperable after being damaged by rodents, Le Figaro has reported, citing a French fighter in the ranks of Kiev’s forces.

Eco-friendly weapons provided to the Ukrainian military by the country’s foreign backers are “sometimes unsuitable for the realities of the front” and “don’t come out well” in an actual conflict, the reported in an article on Thursday.

As proof of its claim, Le Figaro provided an account by an unnamed French fighter, who complained that “rodents ate the cables on some of the vehicles” used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Some of the protective sheaths of electrical wires [in the Western-supplied hardware] are made of corn fiber,” which attracts mice and rats, he said.

Imagine “Libs of TikTok,” but created by a state government to pillory public school teachers.

That’s the gist of a new project launched by Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita, a Republican, who has created a portal called “Eyes on Education” that encourages members of the public to tattle on teachers they believe are pushing so-called “woke” content on kids.

Eyes on Education enables self-styled whistleblowers to submit evidence to the state of “objectionable curricula, policies, or programs.” And the site presents a selection of such content, organized by school district.

The new state website asserts it is non-partisan, claiming to be interested in rooting out “political ideology — either left or right.” But when he announced the launch of the portal earlier this month, Rokita made the bias of the project clear, insisting Eyes on Education exists to expose “examples of socialist indoctrination” in the classroom — and seeks to highlight “destructive” teaching practices that “divide kids from their parents” and from what Rokita deems “normal society.”

On January 22, 2024, a three-judge panel in Boston, led by Obama appointee Judge William J. Kayatta Jr., overruled a lower court opinion when it said that Mexico can continue with a $10 billion lawsuit against U.S.-based firearm manufacturers Ruger, Smith & Wesson, Glock, Barrett and Beretta.

The lawsuit, of course, is a win-win for the current U.S. and Mexican governments who are clearly colluding against the gun industry. For Mexico, it’s a quick money grab that comes with snazzy headlines suggesting that its inept government is fighting for the safety of its people. For anti-gun U.S. leaders who cannot overcome the rights or will of the American people legally, it’s simply a scheme they hope leads to the bankruptcy of these upstanding companies—even if the companies are ultimately cleared of any wrongdoing.

I find the ruling, and the timing of it, rather ironic when you consider that currently 12,000 illegal and unvetted aliens per day are pouring across our southern border and onto the welcome mat that was hand-placed by our own treasonous government and funded by us, the taxpayers. Meanwhile, Mexican cartels are having a heyday exploiting the Biden Administration’s asinine policies by trafficking record amounts of sex slaves and Chinese-made fentanyl into our homeland; the former is destroying the most precious of lives while the latter is killing Americans to the tune of 70,000 per year.
