I am a bit burned out and I need time to recuperate. Also, I have some other things I need to work on, including developing some other revenue…
“The illusion of freedom will continue for as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will take down the scenery, move the tables and chairs out of the way, then they will pull back the curtains and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.” – Frank Zappa
House GOP leaders are facing a backlash from conservatives who have blocked legislative business in an unprecedented move after a procedural vote failed Tuesday.
The move has left the chamber paralyzed, with some conservatives unhappy about the debt limit deal reached by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and President Biden. They believe the procedures used to pass the value in the House last week were not faithful to their agreement with McCarthy that gained their acquiescence to his speakership. McCarthy consented to allow conservatives more sway over decision-making and the mechanics of passing bills in the January deal.
Conservatives are also accusing the leadership of exacting revenge on members who tried to tank a procedural vote before the House's final debt limit bill by stymieing a resolution from Rep. Andrew Clyde, R-Ga., aimed at rolling back a Biden administration firearms rule.
Renowned lawyer and author Alan Dershowitz and conservative commentator Glenn Beck have found common ground in their criticism of billionaire philanthropist George Soros.
Dershowitz recently penned a scathing article about Soros, and Beck invited him on his show to discuss it. Beck claims that Soros has "rallied people" to label him an anti-Semite, despite winning the Defender of Israel award. Dershowitz, who is Jewish, refutes these claims, stating that Soros is an authentic anti-Semite. "The only anti-Semite that we've discussed on this show so far is George Soros," Dershowitz asserts. He believes Soros is "self-hating" and "not even a Jew."
Dershowitz accuses Soros of profiting from the Holocaust, claiming he made his first fortune "by collecting the property of Jews who were being sent to the concentration camps." He further alleges that Soros has "devoted his life to hurting Jews, to hurting Israel, to hurting America," and that he is shielded from criticism because of his Jewish heritage. Dershowitz vows to continue criticizing Soros, a stance he has maintained for the past two decades alongside Beck.
Actress Alicia Silverstone, known for her role in the movie Clueless, has taken to social media to endorse Democrat Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
In an Instagram post, Silverstone expressed her disappointment with political leadership and praised Kennedy Jr. for providing hope for people to trust the government once again. She called him a true leader who fights for all mothers and children, the planet, fairness, and freedom. Silverstone also noted that she has worked with Kennedy Jr. on children’s health and environmental issues for over 15 years.
“Last year, I cancelled my Democratic Party registration and registered as an Independent voter. Like many others, I am deeply disappointed with political leadership at every turn,” Silverstone wrote in her Instagram caption. “But [Robert F. Kennedy Jr.] gives me hope. This man gets me excited about the potential for truth and justice. He provides hope for young and old to trust our government once again. RFK Jr. is a person we can be inspired and be proud to call President.”
Former President Donald J. Trump has been indicted in the district court in Miami on federal counts stemming from Special Counsel Jack Smith’s months-long investigation into Trump’s handling of classified documents.
The indictment represents the first time in U.S. history a former president will face criminal charges. Trump announced the indictment Thursday night on Truth Social. “The corrupt Biden Administration has informed my attorneys that I have been Indicted, seemingly over the Boxes Hoax, even though Joe Biden has 1850 Boxes at the University of Delaware, additional Boxes in Chinatown, D.C., with even more Boxes at the University of Pennsylvania, and documents strewn all over his garage floor where he parks his Corvette, and which is “secured” by only a garage door that is paper thin, and open much of the time,” Trump said in a post at 7:21 p.m. eastern time.
He will surrender to authorities in Miami on Tuesday.
President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice will work “hand-in-hand” with the LGBTQ community as a response to Republican-led legislation and “threats” tied to “hate groups and domestic violent extremists,” the White House announced on Thursday.
The administration’s new action to “protect LGBTQI+ communities from attacks on their rights and safety” specifically cites Republican-sponsored legislation that bans biological males from women’s sports, protects children from irreversible sex-change procedures, and bans discussions of sexual and ideological topics in the classroom.
The White House framed those bills as “anti-LGBTQ+” and called them “cruel and callous to our kids, our neighbors, and those in our community.” And as a response, the White House said, the Biden administration is partnering with federal law enforcement agencies to launch a new LGBTQI+ Community Safety Partnership.
The move is sure to draw the attention of Republican lawmakers and conservative activists, who have accused the Justice Department of ideologically targeting perceived opponents of the Biden administration, such as pro-life activists and parents concerned about ideology in schools.

Former President Donald Trump announced Thursday evening that a federal court in Miami has indicted him.
The indictment is currently sealed. However, Trump connected the charges to documents he held after leaving the White House.
Trump released a statement about the charges that he posted on Truth Social:
The corrupt Biden Administration has informed my attorneys that I have been Indicted, seemingly over the Boxes Hoax, even though Joe Biden has 1850 Boxes at the University of Delaware, additional Boxes in Chinatown, D.C., with even more Boxes at the University of Pennsylvania, and documents strewn all over his garage floor where he parks his Corvette, and which is “secured” by only a garage door that is paper thin, and open much of the time.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit held this week in Range v. Garland that the government cannot disarm people convicted of minor, nonviolent offenses. In doing so, it handed down perhaps the most significant Second Amendment victory since the Supreme Court’s landmark decision last year, where it held that Americans have a constitutional right to carry handguns in public for self-defense.
The Third Circuit’s decision in Range is noteworthy for several reasons and likely sets up one of the next major Second Amendment battles at the Supreme Court. So, what, exactly, was this case about, and what can we expect next?
Politico, the mouthpiece of the administrative state, on Friday reported this shocker: With the debt ceiling deal done, the Internal Revenue Service, which lost $21.4 billion in funding, fears it will be cut even further. It seems the agency that for decades has thrived on bullying the taxpayers for whom they work is afraid it will be similarly bullied for what IRS staffers feel is their lunch money.
To which I say, “Heck, yeah!”
Beyond the FBI, CIA, NSA, and any other national intelligence agency that either colluded with or was duped by Russia in the Russiagate scandal, no other federal agency deserves to have its budget, staffing, and overall existence more eviscerated than the IRS.
This is not simply about tax policy. This is about the classic triumvirate that represents why so many Americans hate Washington: the triplets of Waste, Fraud, and Abuse.
Recall that Joe Biden—or, more likely, then-White House Chief of Staff Ron Klein—decided it would be a good idea to increase the IRS budget by nearly $100 billion to hire an army of 87,000 agents he claimed would be deployed only against the wealthiest Americans. It was a laughable claim then, and given what we know about the IRS since, it’s even more ridiculous.
Just as Democrats and their progressive tools have weaponized federal law enforcement and national security against the American people, the IRS has long been a weapon used to inflict fear, abuse, and financial harm on taxpayers. The agency has long been a willing participant in political abuse. And it has long received a free pass. Recall that the IRS under Obama was more than willing to target conservative organizations and individuals, auditing them and slow-rolling their tax-exempt status reviews.

Syndicated host Mark Walters, the founder of Armed American Radio, has filed a defamation lawsuit against OpenAI, alleging that the company’s AI-powered chatbot, ChatGPT, fabricated false legal claims against him. This is believed to be the first defamation complaint related to ChatGPT, which was introduced in November 2022.
According to the lawsuit filed in Georgia’s Superior Court of Gwinnett County, journalist Fred Riehl asked ChatGPT to summarize a case called Second Amendment Foundation v. Ferguson, which involved accusations against Washington’s Attorney General Bob Ferguson. Riehl provided a link to the case but did not know that ChatGPT cannot access URLs, so he received a completely made-up story.
In its fabricated response, ChatGPT falsely claimed that the case was a legal complaint filed by Alan Gottlieb, the founder of the Second Amendment Foundation, against Mark Walters. The AI chatbot even provided an erroneous case number, saying that Walters, “misappropriated funds for personal expenses without authorization or reimbursement, manipulated financial records and bank statements to conceal his activities, and failed to provide accurately and timely financial reports.”
Webmaster addition: OpenAI has already modified their system. When I first started playing with ChatGPT, I asked it what it knew about whatreallyhappened.com and the response was quiet unflattering. But I just checked again and this time the reply was fair and balanced!
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Donald Trump's leading rival for the 2024 GOP nomination, said the decision to charge the former president demonstrated political bias in the Biden Justice Department and it's "weaponization" of its police powers.
Trump was indicted Thursday on federal charges involving conspiracy, obstruction, and taking classified documents.
"The weaponization of federal law enforcement represents a mortal threat to a free society," Florida Governor Ron DeSantis stated Thursday.
"We have for years witnessed an uneven application of the law depending upon political affiliation. Why so zealous in pursuing Trump yet so passive about Hillary or Hunter?"
DeSantis said his administration "will bring accountability to the DOJ, excise political bias and end weaponization once and for all."
Other GOP candidates made supportive statements, but not all.
Sen. Tim Scott who announced his candidacy last month, said in an interview Thursday evening with Fox News' Harris Faulkner that Trump's indictment indicates the "scales" of the justice system "are weighted."
The Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis camps are trading blows after the Florida governor’s 2024 campaign debuted an AI-generated image depicting the former president hugging Dr. Anthony Fauci.
It’s also further fueling concerns about how AI "deepfakes" of altered video, photos or audio portraying candidates saying and doing things they did not could affect the 2024 campaign.
"Fake images from a fake campaign for a fake candidate. This stunt had the ‘please clap’ energy of Ron DeSanctimonious’ mentor, Jeb Bush," a Trump campaign adviser told Fox News Digital of the images.
One of Trump’s most vocal allies in the Senate, freshman Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, tweeted on Thursday, "Smearing Donald Trump with fake AI images is completely unacceptable. I’m not sharing them, but we’re in a new era. Be even more skeptical of what you see on the internet."
President Joe Biden was allegedly paid $5 million by an executive of the Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings, where his son Hunter Biden sat on the board, a confidential human source told the FBI during a June 2020 interview, sources familiar told Fox News Digital.
The sources briefed Fox News Digital on the contents of the FBI-generated FD-1023 form alleging a criminal bribery scheme between then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national that involved influence over U.S. policy decisions.
The FD-1023 form, dated June 30, 2020, is the FBI's interview with a "highly credible" confidential source who detailed multiple meetings and conversations he or she had with a top Burisma executive over the course of several years, starting in 2015. Fox News Digital has not seen the form, but it was described by several sources who are aware of its contents.
Former President Donald Trump said Thursday that he has been indicted on charges connected to his handling of classified national security records, writing on social media that he has been summoned to federal court on Tuesday in Miami.
Prosecutors are charging the former president with seven criminal counts, according to a person familiar with the indictment granted anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly.
The precise charges that federal prosecutors have obtained against Trump were not immediately clear. But one of Trump’s attorneys indicated that a summons issued by prosecutors listed a provision of the Espionage Act and a federal statute criminalizing the obstruction of an official proceeding.

Excellent words of wisdom.
Georgia Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene announced on Thursday afternoon that she reviewed the unclassified FD-1023 FBI form alleging that then-Vice President Joe Biden was involved in a bribery pay-to-play scheme.
Greene shared a video to Twitter after reviewing the document in the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), telling reporters that the document was “very credible” and the allegations against Biden “are nothing short of deeply troubling.”
A whistleblower reportedly provided evidence alleging Biden was involved in corrupt ‘pay-for-play’ schemes as vice president. The source has been frequently used by the FBI since the Obama administration and is deemed to be “highly credible.”
As reported by Fox News, the individual has alleged that the former VP “was involved in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national” and is an “FBI confidential human source…used by the bureau in multiple investigative matters dating back to” Barack Obama’s two terms in office.
The report is a bombshell. The vaccine was launched in mid-December 2020. By the end of February 2021, “Pfizer had already received more than 1,200 reports of deaths allegedly caused by the vaccine and tens of thousands of reported adverse events, including 23 cases of spontaneous abortions out of 270 pregnancies and more than 2,000 reports of cardiac disorders.”
This Confidential Pfizer Report provides data on deaths and adverse events recorded by Pfizer from the outset of the vaccine project in December 2020 to the end of February 2021, namely a very short period (at most two and a half months).
The data from mid-December 2020 to the end of February 2021 unequivocally confirms “Manslaughter”. Based on the evidence, Pfizer had the responsibility to immediately cancel and withdraw the “vaccine”.
Pfizer’s Worldwide marketing of the Covid-19 Vaccine beyond February 28th, 2021, is no longer an “Act of Manslaughter”.
Murder as opposed to Manslaughter implies “Criminal Intent”.
Pfizer’s Covid 19 Vaccine constitutes a Criminal Act. From a legal standpoint it is an “Act of Murder” applied Worldwide to a target population of 8 billion people.
Joe Biden is to host the White House’s largest Pride celebration “in history” as Americans struggle to pay for groceries and mortgage payments as inflation continues to soar, not to mention the billions of dollars being sent to Ukraine.
The LGBTQ+ Pride celebration hosted by Biden will be the largest of its kind “in history” for the White House.
Biden is also set to announce new measures aimed at pushing transgenderism and other progressive ideology.
Reuters reported that Thursday’s event is being billed as a celebration of” LGBTQ+ families” and will see performances from singer Betty Who and DJ Queen HD.
As Breitbart reported:
The event will also focus on so-called “book bans” being implemented in parts of the United States, with Biden’s Department of Education to announce the appointment of a new special coordinator who will be tasked with tackling the perceived problem.
“Across the country, our nation is facing a spike in book bans, and these efforts disproportionately target the LGBTQI+ community as well as communities of color,” one Biden admin spokesman said regarding the announcement.
“These aren’t just attacks on the rights of LGBTQI+ Americans; they are part and parcel of a coordinated attack on our democracy,” they added.
