"They [the media] are news-as-entertainment professionals – packaging glossy corporate content for maximum distribution and big bucks. The goal is not objective reportage. Their targets are quantifiable and highlighted in a business plan somewhere. Success is based on a simple formula: stay within parameters "understandable" to a wide audience that devours sound bites and familiar storylines on the hour, every hour.

Like trained seals whose every desire, instinct and buying pattern has been measured by corporate media's marketing department for the consumption of its advertisers, the audience demands satisfaction – and western media delivers it." -- Sharmine Narwani

New polling finds that the majority of the American public now say that they disapprove of Israel’s genocidal siege of Gaza. Approval of the assault has plummeted over the course of a few months as Israel slaughtered at least 33,000 Palestinians and continues its destruction of Gaza with impunity.

According to a Gallup survey conducted last month, 55 percent of Americans say that they disapprove of Israel’s “military action” in Gaza — up from a minority of 45 percent in a November Gallup poll.

In November, 50 percent of Americans said they approve of the siege of Gaza by Israel. Now, only 36 percent, or just over a third of Americans, say they approve.

One of Eye’s followers sent us this video about bugs in our foods.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2yaHOvfMoA

Our first thought was – GROSS!!

And our second thought was – “We spent our childhood shooing flies off our food and now they want us to eat them!”

We wanted to know more so we did some research and we have a feeling this bug-thing isn’t a good thing for us.

Webmaster addition: When I was a kid, bugs in food meant it was spoiled and needed to be thrown away!

The violent Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua (TDA), has expanded its operations in the United States, exploiting the border crisis to establish a criminal foothold. This brutal gang, formed in Venezuela’s Aragua state, is responsible for a series of heinous crimes, including a murder in Doral, Florida, and the shooting of two New York City police officers. A multi-state sex-trafficking ring connected to TDA was also dismantled by law enforcement in Louisiana.

TDA’s rise in the U.S. is tied to the influx of Venezuelans illegally crossing the border under President Joe Biden’s administration. Many TDA members followed this wave of migrants, leveraging the chaos to infiltrate the country. The gang has deep ties to the Nicolás Maduro regime in Venezuela, where they act as enforcers and control much of the criminal underworld.

The Biden administration has been alerted to the threat posed by TDA, but according to a source within U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the issue has not been adequately addressed. The source expressed frustration, stating, “It’s frustrating that no matter the indicators we have about possible TDA members or affiliates, the emphasis on processing, and not enforcement, remains the same.”

The Democratic Party is facing a significant challenge as union voters, once a dependable voting bloc, are increasingly turning towards the GOP. This shift threatens President Joe Biden’s prospects for reelection in 2024. Despite being hailed as the “most pro-union President,” recent polls show Biden’s support among union voters has dramatically decreased.

Democratic lawmakers are sounding the alarm, recognizing that their efforts to woo union voters have not translated into sustained electoral support. “We need to be concerned,” Rep. Dan Kildee of Michigan told Axios, highlighting the need for proactive engagement. Rep. Dean Phillips of Minnesota echoed this sentiment, stressing the importance of connecting with rank-and-file labor members rather than relying solely on union leadership.

Hunter Biden's team arranged for a senior Burisma Holdings executive to meet with one of his father Joe Biden's advisers at the State Department a decade ago, just months after the Ukrainian energy firm's owner was targeted in a high-profile and U.S.-backed corruption investigation, according to documents secretly gathered years ago by the FBI. The elder Biden was vice president at the time.

The documents, obtained by Just the News, chronicle a plan in summer and fall 2014 to connect Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi with then-State Department energy adviser Amos Hochstein, now a Middle East envoy for President Joe Biden. It was facilitated by the law firm that employed Hunter Biden at the time, Boies Schiller Flexner.

Hunter Biden himself was directly involved in the outreach, at one point helping to forward a direct number for Hochstein to facilitate a follow-up.
