"No government can serve two masters, and a government that serves Israel cannot, does not, and will not serve the American people. A friend of Israel is no friend of America. In these dark times America needs leaders who will put America first, second, and third!" -- Michael Rivero
The New York judge in former President Donald Trump’s non-jury civil fraud trial imposed a limited gag order after Trump shared the name and image of the judge’s clerk on social media.

What you saw and heard with your own eyes and your own ears, the government denied and demanded you cast it aside and not believe it.
“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”
― George Orwell, 1984
Through the Ministry of Truth, the government (referred to in the book as “Big Brother” or “the Party”) engages in endless propaganda, intense surveillance, and the open and obvious negating of historical fact. Individual thought, and questioning of authority led to immediate persecution. Why deny facts and rewrite history? Well, as Orwell says in the book,
“Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.”
― George Orwell, 1984
Now let’s fast-forward to the present day. I will begin with this profound statement that keeps churning over in my head:
They must really think we are stupid!
The “they” is our government (federal and state). The “we” is you and me, and the other 300+ million Americans across our country.
Alas, here we are, entering the final quarter of 2023, and we have the United States government, and many state governments (including New York’s former Governor Andrew Cuomo, current left-wing Governor Kathy Hochul, and the super-majority Dem legislature) proclaiming for all to hear that they did not force anyone to do anything detrimental these past 3.5 years. UNBELIEVABLE! Did you hear this? They are actually saying with straight faces that they didn’t force you to wear a mask, or lock down and shutter your businesses, or choose between taking an experimental drug or losing your job… Nope! They did none of that. And you – well, you are flat out crazy if you think they did. You are lying. You are exaggerating and totally overreacting.
Immigration has emerged as a key wedge issue that may cost the Democrats the White House and their U.S. Senate Majority next fall.
According to a Harvard-Harris poll published earlier this month, 71% of registered voters think illegal immigration is getting worse. Democrats made up 37% of respondents to that poll, which means that a critical mass of President Biden’s base is dissatisfied with how his administration has handled the issue. Republicans comprised 36% of poll respondents, and 23% identified as independents. Of those who think illegal immigration is getting worse,12% did not identify as Republicans or independents. Even more damning, however, is the number of Democrats who said illegal immigration is getting worse, which was over half at 53%.
Biden’s first term has been full of border blunders, from permitting the end of Title 42 to halting the construction of the wall on America’s southern border – even attacking Texas Gov. Greg Abbott for both trying to create physical barriers along the border as well as shipping migrants out of his state.
The number of monthly encounters reported by Customs and Border Protection has steadily increased throughout the Biden presidency, to the extent that the Center for Immigration Studies stated that the most recently available August 2023 border numbers revealed a border in freefall.
Just this week, one Eagle Pass, Texas, processing facility which has a capacity of 1,000 people reported “4,600 people inside waiting to be allowed into the U.S.”
With debt levels reaching all-time highs in major developed and developing economies, and with debt-to-GDP ratios also in record territory (not including contingent liabilities such as Social Security, health care and other entitlements, which make matters worse), it seems time to consider just how nations will deal with this problem.
The debt crisis may not be imminent, but it is unavoidable. When it happens, it may present the greatest financial disaster of all time. It’s never too soon for investors to consider the fallout.
When you issue debt in a currency you print, there’s no need for default in the sense of non-payment.
You can just have the central bank buy the debt (by printing money). This is the situation today in the U.S., Japan, the U.K. and the European Monetary Union (the countries that use the euro). They all have huge debt burdens, but they all have central banks that can simply buy the debt by printing money to avoid default.

Numerous defense attorneys representing January 6 defendants are perplexed in discovering that potential jurors are being recalled or “recycled.”
On Sept. 5, a day after Labor Day, defense attorneys discovered their potential jury pool consisted of jurors who were excused the week before.
“I have never seen this in all my years of practicing law.” defense attorney Steven Metcalf fumed while exiting the federal courthouse after jury selection of Zachary Alam’s trial.”Are there any jurors left in DC? What is going on here?”
The Gateway Pundit sat as the lone observer in the courtroom for nearly the entire duration of Alam’s 8-day trial and spent hours talking with Metcalf about this peculiar jury selection.
Some 75,000 Kaiser Permanente workers, who say understaffing is hurting patient care, walked off the job Wednesday in multiple states, kicking off a major health care strike amid an extraordinary year for U.S. labor organizing and work stoppages.
Kaiser Permanente is one of the country’s larger insurers and health care system operators, with 39 hospitals nationwide. The nonprofit company, based in Oakland, California, provides health coverage for nearly 13 million people, sending customers to clinics and hospitals it runs or contracts with to provide care.
The Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions, representing about 85,000 of the health system’s employees nationally, approved a strike for three days in California, Colorado, Oregon and Washington, and for one day in Virginia and Washington, D.C.
In the pre-dawn hours outside Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, workers cheered as the strike deadline arrived.

Sixty-three percent of U.S. adults currently agree with the statement that the Republican and Democratic parties do “such a poor job” of representing the American people that “a third major party is needed.” This represents a seven-percentage-point increase from a year ago and is the highest since Gallup first asked the question in 2003. However, the current measure is not meaningfully different from the prior highs of 61% in 2017 and 62% in 2021, shortly after the January 2021 Capitol Hill riots.
Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), no longer burdened by trying to keep the entire Republican Conference together after being removed as Speaker of the House on Wednesday, gave blunt answers to reporters during a press conference following the historic vote in the House.
Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-NC), who is the temporary Speaker of the House, has ordered Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi to vacate her Capitol hideaway office by tomorrow.
Two weeks ago, Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman told CNN anchor Christiane Amanpour there is a peculiar disconnect between how the economy is doing and how the public is feeling about it.
Amanpour pressed him on why people weren’t understanding that they are living in a “sunny economy.”
He had asserted that “the economy’s rebound has been surreally good,” yet people keep saying it is terrible.
Krugman pointed to surveys and even some people’s behavior, noting robust discretionary spending on travel with hotels and restaurants, and was perplexed as to why people, as if all people were traveling, thought there was a problem.
“We don’t really understand why this is happening ... (but) there is a real profound disconnect going on,” Krugman said.
A few days earlier, “The View” co-host Joy Behar was strident in her assertion that everything was fine for all in our economy:
“The economy is booming, inflation is down, the stock market is doing well, people are having an easier time putting bread on the table, etc. (Biden) doesn’t seem to be getting the credit for that.”
She then asked if people think because Biden is old that the economy is bad.
Huh?
Longtime contributor TAE Summary shows us how simple it is. Not easy, but still simple.
“America is a corpse being devoured by maggots. The Democrats root for the maggots, the Republicans root for the corpse.”
Our beloved American Empire was both our doting parent and our bright eyed child but it died.
It fed us, clothed us, entertained us, kept us safe and was our hope for the future, but it’s gone.
We are now moving through the stages of grief associated with great loss.
Historian Victor Davis Hanson sat down with Tucker Carlson to discuss his perspective on the current political climate in the US, asserting that American liberalism is characterized by dishonesty, and warning about what he sees as liberal efforts to introduce a highly intolerant age.
"It's hard for most Americans to comprehend the total dishonesty of American liberalism."
VDH says Trump represents a significant threat to the specific vision held by liberals, who are employing a "critical legal theory," in which traditional moral values are abandoned in favor of whatever gains power.
"Liberals are now telling us they plan to protect American democracy and that's the clearest possible sign that they intend to end it."
Most specifically, Hanson told Carlson that:
"I think they’ve come to the conclusion that Trump is an existential threat and by association, half the country is to their vision of what they want to transform us into, and so they feel that whatever means necessary are justified."
And this is an issue since Hanson pointed out that while some conservatives were speaking up, they are also fighting a culture in the Republican Party that preferred to "lose nobly" as opposed to winning elections in an "ugly" manner.
Trump called this judge a liberal operative and I have no doubt that is the case but this stupid video has me laughing. Like, hello, is this your first time on a zoom call? Perked RIGHT UP for the camera like a total idiot.
Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) will be introducing a bill that would allow states to deport illegal aliens and allow border states to build physical barriers, according to a report from Fox News. The Biden Administration has repeatedly challenged states — namely Texas — over their right to stop the record-breaking surge of illegal entries.
Titled “The State Border Defense Act,” the bill would allow California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas to construct barriers both on land and in waterways in order to deter illegal entries. The bill expands on legislation introduced last year that empowers states by allowing them to enforce federal immigration law.
Hawley’s bill comes as the Biden Administration is suing the state of Texas over the construction of razor wire fencing along the banks of the Rio Grande in Eagle Pass, as well as a water-based barrier. A federal judge initially ordered Texas to remove the water-based barrier, though the Lonestar State was later granted a victory by a federal appellate court, which ruled that the buoy can remain while the case is ongoing.
Hannity is reporting that “some House Republicans have been in contact” with President Trump and that they have started an effort to push for DJT as the next Speaker.
And there are reports that Trump might be interested.
Sean Hannity: “Sources are telling me at this hour, some House Republicans have been in contact with and have started an effort to draft former President Donald Trump to be the next Speaker. And, I have been told that President Trump might be open to helping the Republican Party, at least in the short term, if necessary.”
Rep. Taylor Marjorie Greene (R-GA) has publicly endorsed former President Donald J. Trump as her candidate for Speaker of the House.
On Tuesday, the House of Representatives voted 216-210 to remove McCarthy, making him the shortest-serving Speaker since 1876.
The vote was spearheaded by Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz and saw a few conservatives joining Democrats in the unprecedented action. Among the Republicans voting for the removal were Reps. Andy Biggs of Arizona, Ken Buck of Colorado, Tim Burchett of Tennessee, Eli Crane of Arizona, Bob Good of Virginia, Nancy Mace of South Carolina, and Matt Rosendale of Montana.
Greene, a staunch supporter of Trump, outlined a comprehensive list of reasons for her endorsement, emphasizing Trump’s previous four-year record as President and his potential to bring transformative changes to the country.
“The only candidate for Speaker I am currently supporting is President Donald J. Trump,” Greene announced on Tuesday following McCarthy’s removal.
The seizure of power is the main objective of a revolution. And certainly, the communist revolution had the same goal. Lenin’s book, Toward the Seizure of Power, explains that “The question of power . . . is the fundamental question which determines everything in the development of a revolution.” That was certainly the goal of the 1917 Bolshevik revolution. The Bolsheviks and Lenin destroyed the czarist regime. And they were not restrained by any traditional moral, legal, or ethical principles. Marx and Engels had declared that “there were no eternal moral laws,” and Lenin wrote that “morality is entirely subordinated to the interests of the class struggle of the proletariat,” and that “morality taken outside of human society . . . is a fraud.”
Communist propaganda then and now describes the Bolshevik seizure of power as a ‘proletarian’ revolution. It was actually “an armed insurrection by a relatively small group against an almost powerless government.”
Lenin and his Bolsheviks did not have the overwhelming support of peasants and workers as they had claimed, they constituted a minority and remained so long after the seizure of power. They added more converts by promising ‘Bread, Peace, and Freedom!” The Russians wanted those promises but did not want Bolshevism.
Lenin sought power to advance communism through the “dictatorship of the proletariat,” with total disregard for individual freedom. He even told the masses in detail in the summer of 1917 how he planned on ruling through his dictatorship of the proletariat, using “naked force and terror.”
The “dictatorship of the proletariat” in communist ideology implied a transitional form of government from capitalism to pure communism and was described as an “era of socialism.” Even Marx wrote that the “state can be nothing but the revolutionary dictatorship of the proletariat.” To further the deception, all Soviet satellites were called socialist republics.
Tucker Carlson claimed that the Washington establishment’s weaponization of the justice system against former President Donald Trump is a hallmark of the “spiritual battle” that’s taking place ahead of the 2024 election.
The Department of Justice directed Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss not to respond to congressional inquiries, according to an email provided exclusively to The Federalist. That same email stressed that under DOJ policy, only its Office of Legislative Affairs, or OLA, can respond to requests from the legislative branch.
Yet Weiss would later sign and dispatch a letter to the House Judiciary Committee in response to an inquiry sent directly to Attorney General Merrick Garland. And in that letter, Weiss misleadingly claimed he had “been granted ultimate authority over” the Hunter Biden investigation. The DOJ’s disregard of its own policy provides further proof that both Garland and Weiss intended to obfuscate the reality that Weiss never held the reins of the Hunter Biden investigation.
On May 9, 2022, Republican Sens. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin wrote to Delaware U.S. Attorney Weiss inquiring about several aspects of the Hunter Biden investigation. After the senators sent a follow-up email to the Delaware U.S. attorney’s office requesting a response by week’s end, Delaware’s First Assistant U.S. Attorney Shannon Hanson asked the DOJ about protocol and then updated Weiss, stating in an email:
Consistent with my conversation with [redacted] last night, we are supposed to forward this and any other correspondence to OLA. Per DOJ policy, only OLA can respond on behalf of the Department to a request from the legislative branch.
Missouri AG Andrew Bailey, who is suing the Biden Regime, the FBI, CDC and Department of Homeland Security over their illegal violations of the 1st Amendment together with the Gateway Pundit , has obtained an injunction against the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency CISA prohibiting them from taking away our God-given right to free speech!
“BREAKING: We’ve just obtained an injunction against CISA, an agency within the Department of Homeland Security, that blocks them from violating the First Amendment rights of millions of Americans. The order also applies to the White House, Surgeon General, CDC, and FBI”, Missouri AG Andrew Bailey wrote on Twitter.
