Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has ordered the country's military to test its nuclear-capable weapon systems, the Defense Ministry in Minsk announced on Tuesday. Moscow ordered similar drills on Monday, citing hostile rhetoric by Western officials that necessitated a show of force.

Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin said a battery of Iskander missile launchers and a squadron of Sukhoi Su-25 close air support jets will be involved in the snap exercise.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced plans to store a small number of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus last year, amid escalating tensions with the US and its allies over Ukraine.

Kiev wants TikTok’s help to counter Moscow’s “dominance” on the social media platform, one of Ukraine’s top information warfare officials told Bloomberg on Tuesday.

Russians are advancing in cyberspace as well as on the battlefield, Andrey Kovalenko, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, told the outlet.

“Russia is dominating us on TikTok” due to the sheer scale of its effort, Kovalenko said. “We need to adjust our approach and consider focusing on this social network as well.”

According to Kovalenko, the Russians are “working systematically,” creating fake accounts with Ukrainian SIM cards, and “gaming” TikTok algorithms to reach a wider audience in Ukraine.

Our lead story in Money & Markets on the Solari Report last week was on the uncovering of mass graves in Gaza. Subscribers can watch last week’s Money & Markets here. Hundreds of bodies have been uncovered. Some had their hands tied behind their back and were shot. Some had organs taken. Watch the disgust of a Sky News reporter as the Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem tries to blow off the report and then spin a tale when caught.

Those who consume corporate media know nothing of gruesome mass graves in Gaza. Instead, they are ingesting stories about student protests at American universities. My expectation is that these protests are professionally organized and financed, with scripts written for paid agitators to say things that can then support more “hate crime” charges and legislation. The best defense is a good offense.

This is called a “whiteout.” School protests keep the real story out of the headlines—shocking slaughter and mass atrocity in Gaza as the land grab proceeds and the engineering of mass famine accelerates.

COVID Propaganda Roundup: The latest updates on the “new normal” – chronicling the lies, distortions, and abuses by the ruling class.

White House still blaming brutal inflation on COVID

For a spell there, the Bidenomics propagandists were blaming Russia (“Putin’s price hike” was the slogan) for inflation, but it seems they’ve returned to their golden goose scapegoat for one more drink from the well, the duplicitous bureaucrat’s gift that keeps giving: COVID-19.

RelatedDebunking the Government’s ‘Pandemic Made Us Do It’ Lie

Via WhiteHouse.gov (emphasis added):

“Q:    And from an inflation standpointis there any concern that there might be supply disruptions in that area [milk and meat supply] that might lead to higher prices?

MS. JEAN-PIERRE:  Well, as you know, you know, what — because of the pandemic, there was a supply chain disruption.  The President took action — the American Rescue Plan — which only, obviously, Democrats voted for — the President signed — helped deal with supply chain.

There is a — a task force that was created to deal — to make sure that, during the pandemic, that supply chain was dealt with in a way so that we can get out of this pandemic, get our — the economy — get back on our feet with the economy.

Look, this is something we’re going to monitor.  I don’t have anything to share on — on the question of inflation.  We’re — obviously, we’re going to continue to closely monitor.”

Pfizer CEO: ‘Cancer is new COVID,’ stock bonanza ensues

“Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.”
-Benito Mussolini

Pfizer stock, announced veterinarian posing as a doctor and Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, is looking up lately after falling in recent months due to lack of public interest in its COVID injections, the uptick in performance due to anticipation of windfall profits from forthcoming mRNA cancer “vaccines.”

“Oncology, it is our new COVID. We did what we did with Covid. We are very proud to have saved the world but it is behind us now. We want to do [it] once more and I think oncology is our best chance to do it…
They will be blockbuster drugs.”
-Albert Bourla

Claire's Observations:  So now, the cancers created in people who received the MRNA shots, are going to be treated with medications and "vaccines" by the same company which made them ill, and there is no legal recourse through which people made sick to challenge this in the US?!?!?  There is something very morally rotten at the core of this.  And please remember; even with Big Pharma, the only goal.... is turning a profit for the stockholders.  Nothing more;  nothing less, and Bourla, in this "happy dance" statement, made this painfully obvious to the world..  These shots did NOT "save the world"; it made the world a more dangerous place, with a drug which neither prevented people from getting ill, or transmitting the virus.if they had it.  Plus, it caused the immune systems to "shut down": against other horrific diseases.

Manila warned of losing autonomy, 'Ukrainization' under US manipulation.

Defense chiefs from the US, Australia, Japan and the Philippines gathered in Hawaii on Thursday (local time) for their second joint meeting, lining up yet another regional group dubbed the "Squad" by Pentagon officials, while vowing a strengthened alliance among the four countries.

Chinese analysts warned on Sunday that this new quadrilateral grouping, distinct from the older version of the Quad which was also assembled by the US, poses a more targeted challenge to China. The grouping, part of Washington's "Indo-Pacific Strategy," aims at containing China, leading to concerns about more complex tensions and division among regional countries.

Chinese analysts warned that the Philippines, increasingly manipulated by the US, is losing its autonomy and becoming a pawn of the US in the region, which could lead to the "Ukrainization" of the Philippines.

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin recently confirmed that Russian forces have entered the same military base where American troops are stationed in Niger, a fact which clearly demonstrates a shift in the Sahel state’s policy. Washington is fully withdrawing its troops from Niger and is also relocating military personnel stationed in Chad, as it considers its options for continuing “America’s counterterrorism mission” in the region, according to the Pentagon. How did it come to pass that in March, Niger’s new leadership terminated the security agreement with the US, declaring as unwelcome the presence of 1,000 American troops?

For a long time, diplomatic relations between Niger and the US seemed to be based on the following false premise: the US is a superior power, while African nations are inferior. This is rooted in the deep and bloody past of slavery, racism, colonial massacres and imperialist hegemony through military camps all over Africa, and later – the dollar monopoly, irrational IMF and World Bank debts, and NATO recolonization of the continent. The aim of all this is clear: to control the strategic resources of Africa.

But everything changed when African patriots rose to power in Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger. Assimi Goïta, Ibrahim Traoré and Abdourahamane Tiani, the three leaders of the new Alliance of Sahelian States (AES), are fully involved in the emancipation process of African peoples in the 21st century. This results in cutting all the ties of alienation and building relations in the new, truly multipolar world to come.

Russia’s Radiological, Chemical and Biological Defense Troops have spent over two years studying and publicizing sensitive documents and analytical materials on the extent of Pentagon, CDC and US biotech firms’ funding for unethical and potentially illegal military biological research in Ukraine and around the world.

US biodefense planners are preparing to release a 'bombshell' report calling on all levels of the US government to radically improve national biodefense measures and create a national strategy to address global biological threats.

The document, seen by Axios ahead of publication, was put together by the Bipartisan Commission on Biodefense, a panel of former high-ranking US officials and lawmakers, including senior former Clinton, Bush and Obama administration staff. The Commission, created in 2014 to “provide for a comprehensive assessment of the state of US biodefense efforts,” has called its new report the 2024 National Blueprint for Biodefense.

The ‘blueprint’ highlights the growing risks stemming from the outbreak of infectious diseases, bioweapons research and lab leaks, predicting that the number of biothreat incidents will increase over time, and urging policymakers to make major new investments in biodefense.

“We’re not putting enough emphasis on getting ahead of these biological threats,” Bipartisan Commission on Biodefense executive director Asha George said. George urged Biden National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan to spearhead a national biodefense effort and set up a deputy advisor post to deal with the job’s daily duties.

A video documenting the destruction of a NATO-supplied tank in Ukrainian service appeared on Russian social media on Tuesday. Initially identified as a German-made Leopard, the tank was later established to have been a US-made Abrams.

Only 31 Abrams tanks of the M1A1 type were sent to Ukraine, arriving late last year. Five had been confirmed destroyed as of mid-April. The newest video would bring the tally up to seven, while three others have taken significant damage.

Thermal camera footage attributed to Donetsk People’s Republic scouts shows a first-person-view (FPV) drone chasing the tank along a road before striking the back of the turret.

A decision by Berlin police to ban symbols “linked to Russia” at the city’s WWII memorials during upcoming Victory Day celebrations has drawn the ire of Moscow’s embassy. The diplomatic mission blasted the move on Tuesday as “discriminatory” and violating the principle of “historical reconciliation” of the two nations.

The measures announced by the Berlin authorities are “unacceptable,” the embassy said in a statement, adding that the restrictions essentially ban all symbols “inseparably associated” with Victory Day.

The anniversary of victory over Nazism and the end of World War II in Europe is celebrated in Russia and many post-Soviet states on May 9. It corresponds to Victory in Europe Day, also known as Liberation Day or simply Victory Day in Western countries, which is celebrated on May 8.

Russia’s decision to conduct tactical nuclear weapons drills is a forced response to the “shameless and aggressive” policies of the Collective West, which creates security threats for Russia and its citizens, Moscow’s ambassador to the US, Anatoly Antonov, stated on Tuesday.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday ordered a snap exercise in the use of tactical nuclear weapons in the Southern Military District, which borders Ukraine. The drill is intended as a warning to the US and its allies not to escalate the Ukraine conflict any further, both the Foreign and Defense Ministries in Moscow said in public statements.

According to Antonov, the US and its allies are constantly beefing up supplies of increasingly deadly weapons to Ukraine designed to “kill Russian people” and attack the territory of the country.

Republican John Hostettler has lost his House primary in Indiana, delivering a victory to pro-Israel groups who sought to block the former congressman from returning to Washington. The groups attacked Hostettler as insufficiently supportive of Israel at a time when criticism of Benjamin Netanyahu’s government has hit new highs because of the war in Gaza.

When the Associated Press called the eighth district primary race at 7.49pm ET, less than an hour after the last polls closed in Indiana, Mark Messmer led his opponents with 40% of the vote. Messmer, the Indiana state senate majority leader, will advance to the general election in November, which he is heavily favored to win because of the district’s Republican leanings. The victor will replace Republican congressman Larry Bucshon, who announced his retirement earlier this year.

The primary concludes a contentious race in which pro-Israel groups poured millions of dollars into the district to attack Hostettler, who served in the House from 1995 to 2007. The groups specifically criticized Hostettler’s past voting record on Israel and some comments he made that were deemed antisemitic.

The Immortal Regiment is a massive public event that traditionally takes place on May 9, celebrated in Russia as Victory Day – a holiday dedicated to the country's immense contribution to the victory in World War II. In Russia, the conflict between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany is known as the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945).

Since its inception back in 2012, the celebratory event has spread not only throughout Russia, but across the whole world. Those who participate feel compelled to honor their ancestors during one of Russia’s main holidays.

Today, people all over the world uphold what is now an internationally celebrated tradition of paying homage to the brave Soviet heroes who fought in the war to defeat the Nazis and drive the invaders off Russian land.

Participants commemorate the memory of veterans, with people carrying old pictures of their immediate or extended family members who served in the Red Army fighting the Nazi occupiers, formed resistance movements, or were involved in intense labor working to seal the final victory.

The Yemeni militia has been targeting Israeli, US and UK-linked commercial vessels and warships operating in the Red and Arabian Seas since November 2023, vowing to continue their partial self-imposed blockade until Israel halts its campaign in Gaza, and flouting a recent attempt by Washington to bribe them into stopping their operations.

Yemen’s Houthis ramped up their attacks on commercial vessels on Tuesday, with the UK Maritime Trade Organization reporting that an unidentified merchant ship 82 nautical miles south of Aden, Yemen faced two explosions in “closest proximity” to the vessel. The vessel and its crew were unharmed.

The US military reported overnight Tuesday that it had shot down a Houthi drone over the Red Sea, and announced later in the day that the Dwight D. Eisenhower supercarrier had resumed its operations in the area after a brief port call for resupply. The American warship, deployed in the region since October 14 together with a squadron of missile destroyers, is expected to remain in there until at least “early summer,” according to US officials.

President Xi Jinping of China arrived in Serbia on Tuesday for a two-day visit, landing on the 25th anniversary of the deadly US airstrike on the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade.

The strike, which came during the 1999 NATO air war in support of ethnic Albanian separatists in Kosovo, killed three Chinese nationals and injured 20 more. Beijing never fully accepted Washington’s apology that the strike had been a mistake caused by “old maps.”

China “should never forget” the bombs that claimed the lives of Shao Yunhuan, Xu Xinghu, and Zhu Ying, Xi wrote in an opinion piece published on Tuesday by Serbia’s oldest newspaper, Politika.

“The Chinese people cherish peace, but we will never allow such tragic history to repeat itself,” the president added.

Russia has the right to strike British facilities in Ukraine and outside that country, if London's threats Kiev may carry out attacks with British weapons on Russian territory materialize, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has told TASS.

"If such a scenario is implemented, our country, Russia, reserves the right to respond accordingly, that is, to regard as targets British facilities located both in Ukraine and outside its borders: military facilities, weapons and so on," Zakharova said.

She described British Foreign Secretary David Cameron’s remark that London considered it legitimate for the Kiev regime to use British weapons for strikes on Russian territory as "something absolutely insane."

"This statement is not only illegitimate, but also illogical, because Britain itself stated literally the opposite not so long ago," Zakharova said.

A Boeing 767 cargo plane has crashed upon landing in Turkey this morning after its landing gear failed when it came in to land.

The flight, operated by American postal service FedEx, took off from Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport early this morning and was headed for Istanbul when the pilot realised the landing gear was malfunctioning.

Shocking footage showed the moment the plane attempted an emergency landing, smashing down into the runway and scraping its nose along the concrete.

Sparks flew from the plane's tattered fuselage as it crunched along the tarmac with smoke billowing from behind.

The crash will only compound woes for Boeing which is already facing intense scrutiny amid a string of mishaps and controversy over safety concerns - not to mention the deaths of two whistleblowers just two months apart.

The Justice Department has contacted the families of victims of two Boeing 737 Max crashes as it closes in on a decision over whether the company violated a deal that saw it escape criminal prosecution.

In a letter obtained by ABC News, families have been invited to attend a meeting at the end of this month where they will be informed of the DOJ's decision as to whether the beleaguered company breached a deferred prosecution agreement.

It will be the fourth meeting between the DOJ and the families of those who died in the two disastrous 737 MAX crashes that killed 346 people in 2018 and 2019.

Relatives filed a motion arguing that the US government 'lied and violated their rights through a secret process' by allowing Boeing to escape criminal charges.

If prosecutors believe they can make a case that Boeing violated the terms, the aerospace giant could face criminal prosecution.

Webmaster addition: It is being reported that Boeing's DEI hires falsified over 700 inspection reports!

The US paused a shipment of bombs to Israel last week over concerns that Israel was approaching a decision on launching a full-scale assault on the southern Gaza city of Rafah.

The shipment was supposed to consist of 1,800 2,000-pound bombs and 1,700 500-pound bombs, according to a senior administration official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the sensitive matter.

More than 1 million civilians are sheltering in Rafah after evacuating other parts of Gaza amid Israel's war on Hamas, which came after the militant group's deadly attack on Israel on Oct. 7.

The Verden regional court in Lower Saxony has upheld a verdict against Rotenburg AfD leader Marie-Thérèse Kaiser for incitement to hatred. The 27-year-old was also found guilty in the appeal hearing on Monday of inciting hatred against Afghan local workers.

For this, the politician now has to pay 100 day fines (a type of fine related to daily income of the convicted) plus a fine of €60, a total of €6,000. In Germany, you are considered to have a criminal record if you are sentenced to pay more than 90 day fines.

The charge was based on a post that Kaiser had spread on her social media accounts in August 2021. In it, she wrote: “Afghanistan refugees; Hamburg SPD mayor for ‘unbureaucratic’ acceptance; Welcoming culture for gang rape?”

Among other things, the politician linked to an article showing that Afghans in Germany are particularly heavily involved in gang rape.

The verdict has now also caught the attention of X CEO Elon Musk. He retweeted a post summarizing the punishment and wrote: “Are you saying the penalty was imposed for repeating accurate government statistics? Was there anything wrong with what she said?”
