1941 Newspaper: Blame Weather For The Rise Of Hitler!

Perhaps one of the greatest oddities of the past Democratic debates was Bernie Sanders insistence that climate change has fueled the growth of terrorism. Apparently we’re supposed to believe that ISIS will lay down their guns once the Earth cools by another degree Fahrenheit.

Erdogan's daughter owns a hospital treating ISIS Takfiri's

The daughter of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is the owner of a "secret" military hospital, in which members of the terrorist organization ISIS, are treated...One of the employees of the hospital, on condition of anonymity, told the independent research and information organization Global Research that Sumeyye Erdogan belongs to a military hospital, situated on the South-East of the country, in the province of Sanliurfa. The whistleblower has worked in the medical facility for seven weeks. According to her, every day in the hospital Turkish military trucks that were delivering the wounded fighters arrived. "We had to prepare operating and to help doctors in certain procedures," says the woman. According to her, she got $ 7,500 for a month of work in the hospital. However, belonging to the Alawite religious group has led to serious internal feelings about the rightness of her actions.

New Edition of Brzezinski's Book Spotlights US Strategy in Eurasia

The following sentences should be read with close attention: Europe is a “bridgehead for America” to control the Eurasian landmass that runs eastward through Russia and China to the Pacific. A “moral identity crisis has weakened Europe's vitality”. And this sentence: “The new problems facing Europe, whether this is immigration, or the economic-technological ability to compete with America or Asia …can only be dealt with in an increasingly continental context.” These three sentences are not to be read in any of the leading mainstream newspapers in Germany, because in the propaganda language of our key media outlets these contentions are no more than “conspiracy theories”. Yes, they equate to “right-wing populism”. However, they come from the grey eminence among US foreign policy strategists: Zbigniew Brzezi?ski. He was adviser to Lyndon B. Johnson in the 60s, later also to Jimmy Carter. And he is Barack Obama’s most important geopolitical adviser...

German Left Party Leader Demands Germany Stop Talks with Turkey

Sahra Wagenknecht is calling for an immediate stop to all talks with Turkey over the refugees. The opposition in Germany has reacted with concern and criticism at Turkey’s shooting down of a Russian fighter plane. With this incident, Turkey poses a danger to world peace, said Left Party leader Sahra Wagenknecht on Tuesday in Berlin. The federal government must now suspend “any negotiations” with Turkey in terms of solving the refugee crisis.

Obama and Merkel Are Fighting to Get Russia Sanctions Renewed

It's Obama and Merkel versus Germany's #2, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, with EU's Juncker and France's Hollande somewhere in the middle. Despite the emerging cooperation in the fight against the jihadist militia Islamic State (IS), western sanctions against Russia, which were introduced because of the annexation of Crimea and the Ukraine crisis, are to be renewed - according to a newspaper report. A preliminary decision regarding this was taken on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Turkey one week previously, the FAZ reported citing groups of participants. During the G20 summit in Antalya a group of five agreed to maintain the sanctions, for as long as the Minsk agreements on the Ukraine conflict have not been implemented, reported the FAZ. The group therefore decided to extend the sanctions, which would expire at the end of the year, to July 2016.

Russian FM Wants to Know If US Greenlighted Turkish Ambush of Su-24 Warplane

“Some members of the coalition, including those providing their combat planes for strikes against Iraq and Syria have confided to us the planes involved were of US manufacture and the Americans normally request US permission for such operations”. Then Lavrov went even further posing a direct question: “As far as I understand, our plane was downed by a US-made F-16. It remains to be seen whether the US requirement is applicable to Turkey, and if it is, I would like to know if Turkey had asked the United States for permission to send its planes on a combat mission and to shoot down a plane, albeit probably an identified one, over Syrian territory.” The implications posed by Lavrov's doubts are important and should not be underestimated by western powers. They directly call into question the possible liability of the USA in Ankara's military action and If this were to be the case, the SU-24 downing would take quite a different twist.

Is Turkey Starting a Proxi-War for NATO?

It is clear, Turkey hosting the recent G20 meeting and subscribing to the east-west ‘coalition’ of fighting the ISIS / DAESH / Al Qaeda terror, was a loosely disguised farce.

Did Turkey just provoke a proxi-war on behalf of NATO against Russia? – Turkey knew very well that the Russian SU-24 fighter jet was inside Syria’s borders and that even as it may have been close to Turkey it was no threat for Turkey. Russia’s mission was clear to all the 19 nations which attended the G20 meeting some 10 days ago in Antalya, Turkey, when the entire group unanimously decided to cooperate in fighting the Islamic State (IS – or Daesh, according to its Arabic acronym).

Turkey Shoots Down More Than Just a Russian Jet

It is only a matter of time before the rhetorical shell game conducted by the terrorist sponsors comes unstuck.

Turkey’s shooting down of a Russian fighter jet this week was likely aimed at a bigger political target – to deal a blow to the proposal of a grand anti-terror coalition between the West and Russia for fighting the Islamic State extremist network in Syria.

Such a coalition might seem reasonable, even desirable, to most people. But it is profoundly unacceptable, tacitly, to Washington because it would further expose the criminal nature of the Western-sponsored regime-change operation in Syria.

Washington and its allies do not want Russia to participate in an effective military coalition that would accelerate the destruction of the mercenary terror army that the Western powers have covertly invested in. In that regard, French President Francois Hollande seems to have momentarily lost the devious plot by proposing such an alliance with Russia.

Putin Makes the West Accountable for Ukraine's Debt Dodging

At the G20 summit in Turkey, Vladimir Putin said that “Since our Western partners believe Ukraine’s solvency will improve, and we have no reason to doubt this, our partners shouldn’t hesitate to guarantee the loan”. He noted that the Russian Federation had asked for such guarantees either from the US or the EU - or even from one of the international financial institutions. “We hope that this issue will be resolved by the beginning of December this year in view of the specific timetable of the International Monetary Fund,” - said Putin. Some commentators are already implying sarcastically that Putin's proposal not to demand full repayment of Ukraine’s debt this year as the charity of impotence. They say, “we don’t have the ability to force the money from Kiev.” That’s why Putin gave the Ukraine the option of paying in installments of $1 billion a year, till 2018, adding a little paragraph that changes everything. Namely, he asked the West guarantee the repayment.

Here Is Why Erdogan's Ambush of Russian Jet Was a Massive Blunder

The SU24 was shot down very close to the Turkish border. The Turks claim it crossed the border. However if it did, then by the Turks’ own account it did so for just a few seconds. The Turks claim they gave the SU24 10 warnings over a period of 5 minutes. If true, this can only have been when the SU24 was in Syrian airspace. The US and NATO say they registered the Turkish warnings but they say it without much show of conviction. Fox News has broadcast what it says is one of the warnings. However, if it was provided by a Turkish source - as is likely - then it is not reliable since it could so easily have been made up after the event. Both sides anyway appear to agree that the SU24 was flying away from Turkey and back to its base in Syria when it was shot down. That argues against it posing any possible threat to Turkey when it was shot down. The SU24 crashed well inside Syria. The Russians say the Turkish F16 that shot it down entered Syrian airspace to do it.

The Chinese Figure Russia Could Shoot Down a Turkish Jet in Retaliation

“Ankara must be well aware of what it means to shoot down a Russian warplane,” states the editorial. “Next it will be careful enough not to give Russia a chance to down one of its warplanes in retaliation. Moscow probably has to cross the Syrian-Turkish border to implement retaliation, which however risks escalating military confrontation.” “If Russia strikes down a Turkish warplane in Turkish airspace, or strikes a Turkish air base, it will touch NATO’s nerve. If NATO takes no action, its pledge to protect smaller alliance members will be discredited. However, if NATO adopts substantial action toward Russia, Europe will confront an unprecedented turbulent situation not seen since World War II.” The piece argues that the crisis is even riskier than when Vladimir Putin was considering whether to annex Crimea, because Putin’s “personal prestige” and Moscow’s “tough image” is on the line.

Turkey Must Pay for the Crime Against the Russian Aircraft

Instead of immediately apologising to Moscow for the Turkish Air Force downing the Russian SU-24 being part of the Russian Air Force group from the Hmeymim base, whose war with IS terrorists and other terrorist groups on Syrian territory is not just empty words, but real action, Ankara was quick to come out with offensive attacks against Russia. And for some reason, it then went on to demand that the NATO Council convene, although not only wasn’t Turkey attacked, but rather itself committed an act of aggression. It is impossible to differently interpret the attack on the plane of the anti-terrorist coalition performing the mission to destroy terrorist locations in Syria. Moreover, the Turkish F-16 did it when the SU-24 was in Syrian airspace.

Turkey Downs Russian Fighter to Draw NATO and US Deeper into Syrian Quagmire

On Tuesday, Turkey shot down a Russian warplane that was carrying out military operations against jihadi groups in Northern Syria. The downing of the Su-24 fighter jet is part of a broader plan by the administration of Turkish President Tayyip Recep Erdogan to topple the secular government of Syrian President Bashar al Assad and to establish “safe zones” on the Syrian side of the Turkish-Syrian border. Erdogan needs the safe zones to provide a sanctuary for the militant extremists who are the footsoldiers in his war against Syria. The downing of the Russian fighter is a desperate attempt by Erdogan to incite a reaction from Russia that will draw either NATO or the United States deeper into a conflict which has dragged on for 4 and a half years and killed 250,000 people.

How the Islamic State is Really Anti-Islamic

Waking Times

Islam proclaims that killing one human being (unjustly) is equal to killing the whole humanity (Qur’an, 5:32). In this perspective, the recent Paris terror attacks as well as all other incidents of terrorism which cause the death of innocent people should actually be considered as the attacks on the whole humanity. Notwithstanding, the terror incident in Paris has once again triggered the old debate as to what extent Islam should be blamed for the barbaric acts committed by ISIS, which is known as the Islamic state of Iraq and Syria, but actually it deserves to be called as “Inhuman State” for its barbaric activities all over the world.

Ukraine has banned all Russian planes from using its airspace and exports of Russian gas to Ukraine have been halted by state-controlled giant Gazprom.

The decision was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk at a televised government meeting.

But Ukraine said it had stopped buying from Gazprom because it could get cheaper gas from Europe.

The airspace ban applies to military planes as well as civil airliners.

Senior MP: Turkey Troubling Dispatch of Russian Military Aid to Iraq

A senior Iraqi lawmaker blasted the Turkish government for creating problems in the way of Russia's arms aid to Iraq. The senior Iraqi lawmaker said that Tehran should do marketing for its weapons in Iraq and other regional countries. The Iraqi parliament has, instead, called for handing over the Russian military choppers to Iran and from there to Iraq. Oil and friendship with ISIS: the secrets of Recep Tayyip Erdogan family

It turned out that the Erdogan family receives additional revenues from the sale of Syrian values, illegal traffic of weapons. Moreover, all members are involved in the scheme – father, two sons, Ahmet Burak (he deals with gold) and Bilal, the uncle of President Mustafa, and even Erdogan's daughter with son-in-law. By the way, it is family that ensures effectiveness of business. But not only family - the Turkish business and intelligence. The Turkish companies organized delivery of fighters from Turkey to Yemen in the interests of Saudi Arabia. An amazing thing, but this logistics here actually says that the Turkish intelligence worked in the interests of these organizations. If the leader of Turkish intelligence is a man personally loyal to Erdogan, if his son received the proceeds from illegal oil exports, it appears that Erdogan should know about this. It turns out that he himself arranged this, or Turkish intelligence wouldn't be involved.

We know that Turkey is lying for three reasons.

One reason is that NATO governments lie every time that they open their mouths.

A second reason is that Turkey’s claim that the SU-24 was in Turkey’s airspace for 17 seconds but only traveled 1.15 miles means that the SU-24 was flying at stall speed! The entire Western media was too incompetent to do the basic math!

It's terrifying how easily Turkey and Russia could take the world to the brink...

So how will Putin respond? Russia’s first retaliatory military act is likely to be a relentless assault on the Turkmen rebels. If and when that happens, for the first time since Russia’s incursion into Syria two months ago, the Russian air force will be brought into direct military conflict with the moderate rebels funded, trained and armed by the West and its allies.

This would occur just as dozens of American Special Forces arrive in Syria to embed themselves with those very same Western-backed anti-Assad rebels.

The prospect of Russia and the West engaging in this way in the military arena can only be met with horror.

What is really needed is for the West to focus its attentions not on defeating President Assad — who is of no real threat to us — but instead on forming an international coalition with Russia, in order to crush the extremist forces which have taken root in Syria.

Obama and Erdogan agreed to destroy Russian plane at G20

In the Arab media information is in circulation that the plan to destroy the Russian Su-24 aircraft was clearly spelled out between the leaders of the US and Turkey. It is reported in particular by Gerasa News. According to the newspaper, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan allegedly received support from U.S. President Barack Obama with a plan to shoot down the aircraft of the Russian Federation on the border with Syria. The compromising information in the Arab media was received from a source in the presidential administration of the USA. Also, reports in the Arab media stated that the moment for the su-24 decision was taken by Obama and Erdogan at the summit of "G20" in Antalya.

Interview with rescued Russian Su24 Pilot (Video)

After being shot down by a Turkish F-16, the pilot was rescued by the Syrian Arab Army, escorted for 2 hours, before finally making it back to the airbase in Latakia. It is a miracle that he was not shot and killed as he descended in his parachute. One thing is for sure, the Turkish narrative of the events is dubious at best. We hope this man will be gifted the opportunity to exact revenge on the ISIS-supporting assailants.

Russian customs unofficially stops the flow of Turkish goods

Customs brokers are now disengaged in the clearance of goods from Turkey, told the radio station "Moscow speaking" about an unspoken ban on TCF imports of goods from that country. One of the interlocutors of the radio station that is engaged in the import of products said, in an interview to "Moscow speaking", that today they did not accept the customs Declaration for the issue of Turkish goods of all categories and recommend the carriers to issue a re-export. "Any kind of official paper was not shown to anybody, but the point is that for the goods today, the Turkish issue was impossible. The machine that is used is slowing down, and for those that already arrived, a re-export was issued. The goods that arrived by air, are also experiencing the same problem," the source added. Source in the Federal customs service said to "Moscow speaking" that the customs officers gave the order of 100% screening of cargo from Turkey, and then to leave them at the warehouse of temporary storage.

Corporate Parasites And Economic Plunder: We Need A Genuine Green Revolution

Over the past few centuries, Western countries embarked on a road to material affluence at the expense of the environment and other peoples across the globe who were subjugated, killed or left to live in poverty. And while offering more of the same and selling unfettered capitalism to the rest of the world, Washington as the now dominant imperial power is doing all it can to destroy any rivals, not least Russia and China. It alone thinks it should be the sole beneficiary in a resource-depleting race towards a barren-wasteland finish.

Amazon now plastering Nazi symbolism across NYC while banning books that question the government

"Whether the authors' conclusions are well-founded or complete lunacy isn't the point here. Amazon.com has selectively targeted this book for censorship due to the political incorrectness of the author's conclusions," Adams wrote. "Remember, Amazon.com went out of its way to ban Confederate flags in the aftermath of another shooting, enforcing a grotesque, almost Stalinist political correctness in its decision to pull Confederate flag merchandise from its online store (including children's toys like the General Lee car from Dukes of Hazzard)."

Adams noted that Amazon's actions essentially amounted to electronic book-burning, a theme I elaborated on here.

But when Amazon has a financial interest in supporting hate and intolerance, then that, of course, is a different story.

Russia-China Relations and the Downing of Russia’s Jet Fighter by Turkey

The downing of a Russian jet fighter over Syria’s airspace was undertaken by Turkey in consultation with Washington and Brussels. Turkey did not take this decision without getting the greenlight from the Pentagon.

Is this an act of revenge against Russia for bombing the US-sponsored Islamic State in Syria?

The unspoken truth is that Russia is undermining US-NATO’s ground operations inside Syria. The latter are made up of various Al Qaeda affiliated formations which de facto constitute the foot-soldiers of the Western alliance. These ISIS and Al Nusrah rebel forces are in turn led by intelligence operatives and Western special forces, many of whom are deployed by private mercenary companies on contract to US-NATO.

The downing of Russia’s plane by Turkey is a clear act of provocation. What is its broader intent?

How will backlash at the diplomatic level? Is military escalation contemplated by Washington?

“We have no intention to go to war with Turkey,” Lavrov added.

Israeli Colonel Caught with IS Pants Down

This was definitely not supposed to happen. It seems that an Israeli military man with the rank of colonel was “caught with IS pants down.” By that I mean he was captured amid a gaggle of so-called IS–or Islamic State or ISIS or DAESH depending on your preference–terrorists, by soldiers of the Iraqi army. Under interrogation by the Iraqi intelligence he apparently said a lot regarding the role of Netanyahu’s IDF in supporting IS.

Did NATO Just Attack Russia, Or Was It Climate Change’s Fault?

I began this morning reporting on Britain’s next king saying climate change is partly responsible for Syria’s civil war, and his blaming the refugee crisis and civil war there on drought. In an exclusive interview with Sky News, Prince Charles waxes profoundly over the lost Copenhagen climate accord in 2009, and on far reaching strategies you probably never even dreamed of. Then the news came a Russian SU24 fighter/bomber had been shot down by Turkey, and the world turned over. As I type this Twitter, Facebook, and the digital media stream is inundated with a foreign policy horror story. All I can see is Vladimir Putin’s face as Jordan’s king spoke with him, and images of Mr. Obama’s “moderates” machine gunning a pilot before his parachute set down. I wonder if the bad climate will be the cause of World War III?

Why did Turkey dare shoot down a Russian Plane? The Proxy War in Syria

The Turkish government decision to down a Russian jet operating in the north of the Syrian province of Latakia is breathtaking in its boldness. Russia may no longer be a superpower, but it is a nuclear-armed great power. The newly elected Justice and Development Party (AKP) government of Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and his mentor President Tayyip Erdogan in Turkey can rule without the help of any other party in parliament, and seems determined to double down on its policy of intervening in Syria.

Global Warming's Unacknowledged Threat—The Pentagon

From November 30 to December 11, delegates from more than 190 nations will convene in Paris to address the increasingly visible threats of climate disruption. The 21st Conference of the Parties (aka COP21) is expected to draw 25,000 official delegates intent on crafting a legally binding pact to keep global warming below 2°C.

But it is difficult to imagine the delegates reaching this goal when one of the largest contributors to global-warming has no intention of agreeing to reduce its pollution. The problem in this case is neither China nor the United States. Instead, the culprit is the Pentagon.

Obama: Without "strategic shift" in Russia, no cooperation against IS

France's Francois Hollande was unable Tuesday to overcome President Barack Obama's skepticism about a possible collaboration with Russia in the fight against the Islamic State, a goal the U.S. leader said depends on a previous "strategic shift" by Moscow.

In a meeting at the White House, Obama and Hollande agreed to "intensify" strikes against the IS in Iraq and Syria, while at the same time attacking jihadist funding and doing a better job of sharing intelligence.

Hollande was visiting Washington on the diplomatic marathon he has pursued since the Nov. 13 terrorist attacks in Paris, in hopes of merging into one the separate coalitions currently led by the United States and Russia in Syria.

Obama's response was unchanged from what the president has said in recent weeks: it will be "difficult" to cooperate unless Russia shifts the target of its attacks in Syria, which, according to the U.S., are mostly aimed at groups in opposition to Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad.

Russia to bolster Syria base, eyes economic retaliation against Turkey

Russia is to send an advanced air defense system to reinforce its air base in Syria and is considering cancelling a raft of joint business projects with Ankara after Turkey shot down of one of its warplanes, top government officials said.

The incident, which resulted in the killing of one of the SU-24 plane's two pilots and a Russian marine, has thrown Russo-Turkish relations into crisis and cooled Kremlin hopes of rapprochement with the West.

On Wednesday, the Kremlin said Moscow would dispatch an S-400 air defense system to bolster its Khmeimim air base in Syria's Latakia province, an advanced weapons system that can be used to shoot down planes at long distance.

BEX ALERT - The Russians had it coming to them

Now the Turks have shot down a Russian warplane, Mr Putin might finally understand that if you play with fire, you end up getting burned

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. Con Coughlin likes to talk tough, but then it is easy to talk tough from a comfortable office thousands of miles away from the war zones! Mr. Con Coughlin, however, seems ignorant of the realities of the situation.

Russia is in Syria at the invitation of Syria's government, to assist Syria in dealing with the western-backed terrorists operating as a proxy army to oust Syria's elected President Assad and replace him with a western puppet. The United States does not have the permission of Syria's government to be in the country bombing economic infrastructure. Neither does France, nor Great Britain, nor NATO.

The Russian plane was not attacking Turkey. Turkey unilaterally extended their borders five miles into Syria for a "security zone" some months back. Russia was on the Syrian side of the internationally recognized border, and penetrated Turkey's "security zone" for a total of 14 seconds. Turkey violated Syria's airspace to chase and shoot down the Russian plane, and even the United States has acknowledged Turkey's violation of Syrian airspace in this incident.

Back in 2012, A Turkish aircraft penetrated deeply into Syria and was shot down. At that time, Erdogen insisted a single border incursion did not justify an attack, and in 2014, Turkey violated Greek airspace an average of six times every single day! Con Coughlin is clearly ignorant of the facts of this matter!

‘Turkish jets gave us no warning before shooting’ – rescued pilot of downed Russian Su-24

As well as denying Ankara’s assertions that the plane was in Turkey’s airspace, Murakhtin also refuted Turkish officials’ claims that the pilots were warned repeatedly.

“In actual fact there were no warnings at all. Neither through the radio, nor visually, so we did not at any point adjust our course. You need to understand the difference in speed between a tactical bomber like a Su-24, and that of the F16. If they wanted to warn us, they could have sat on our wing,” said Murakhtin, who is currently recuperating at Russia’s airbase in Latakia, northern Syria.

“As it was, the missile hit the back of our plane out of nowhere. We didn’t even have time to make an evasive maneuver.”
