Liberal philanthropist George Soros and the Ford Foundation have lavished groups supporting the administration’s “net neutrality” agenda, donating $196 million and landing proponents on the White House staff, according to a new report.

And now, as the Federal Communications Commission nears approving a type of government control over the Internet, the groups are poised to declare victory in the years-long fight, according to the report from MRC Business, an arm of the conservative media watchdog, the Media Research Center.

LESSONS FROM CHARLIE

A magazine can make a point of printing anti-Muslim mockery in response to threats because it knows that freedom of speech (and of the press) will be vociferously defended by the elites of Europe when the target is Muslim, whereas anti-Jewish cartoons will generate harsh condemnations.

World’s leading Simcard maker confirms British and US spooks “probably” stole security codes

The Franco-Dutch world number one simcard maker Gemalto has concluded its own investigation into a hacking of its security codes.

Last week an investigative website, acting on information supplied by whistleblower Edward Snowden, accused the British and American security services of the hack so they could monitor calls, texts and emails.

“This attack very likely has happened. We can correlate what is described in the document allegedly coming from the NSA or GCHQ with events we have observed. This attack was very innovative, it has never been seen before. So it was likely not done by a hacker or mafia as is usual,” said Gemalto’s boss Olivier Piou.

Kerry rebukes Netanyahu over Iran ‘deal’

US Secretary of State John Kerry has criticized officials who are speaking against a potential nuclear agreement with Iran, saying they don’t “know what the deal is” amid the ongoing talks over Tehran’s nuclear energy program.

In an apparent reference to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Kerry said on Tuesday, “Anybody running around right now, jumping in to say well we don’t like the deal, or this or that, doesn’t know what the deal is.”

Netanyahu and some other officials in his regime have accused the Obama administration of trying to strike a “bad deal” with Iran.

“There is no deal yet,” Kerry told the US Senate Appropriations Committee. “And I caution people to wait and see what these negotiations produce.”

FORCED BLOOD DRAWS, DNA COLLECTION AND BIOMETRIC SCANS: WHAT COUNTRY IS THIS?

Our freedoms—especially the Fourth Amendment—are being choked out by a prevailing view among government bureaucrats that they have the right to search, seize, strip, scan, spy on, probe, pat down, taser, and arrest any individual at any time and for the slightest provocation. Forced cavity searches, forced colonoscopies, forced blood draws, forced breath-alcohol tests, forced DNA extractions, forced eye scans, forced inclusion in biometric databases—these are just a few ways in which Americans are being forced to accept that we have no control over what happens to our bodies during an encounter with government officials.

Watch as Florida Parents are Treated Like Children for Questioning School Curriculum

I examined seventh-grade “Civics in Practice” and it contained numerous factual inaccuracies. For example, on Page 100 it states, “The Constitution can be changed in two ways; formally by Amendment, and informally by Government.” This notion of dictatorship is enhanced by eighth-grade textbook “United States History,” which states on Page 185, “The President issues Executive Orders. These commands have the power of law.”

While some called us book-burning Nazis, Page 274 of “Civics in Practice” states, “Citizens must be alert to propaganda” and glittering generalities is a “type of propaganda which often uses words such as freedom and patriotism.” This world government indoctrination is augmented on Page 425, where a geographical map of North America eliminates the United States, and places our great nation in nine new “cultural nations.”

For pointing this out, one public speaker at the School Board textbook workshop called us “narrow-minded, racist Bible-thumpers.”

The Guardian Surrenders To Zionist Pressure

The following post is taken from the Ultra Zionist CIF Watch. The hawkish Israeli outlet is bragging today about its success in persuading The Guardian to remove The Wandering Who from its online book shop. Needless to say that The Wandering Who was published three years ago, it has been a best seller since then. It was translated into 12 languages and not a single claim referring to any form of hatred has been issued in the UK or anywhere else. The Wandering Who has been endorsed by the most impressive list of scholars and humanists. Seemingly, it doesn't take much for The Guardian to shamelessly surrender to pressure made by supporters of ethnic cleansing Israel.

Harper urges swift passage of anti-terror bill as NDP calls for full study

Prime Minister Stephen Harper is urging a House of Commons committee to study the government's anti-terror bill as quickly as possible, in spite of accusations the Conservatives are using their majority to rush the legislation onto the books.

NDP Leader Tom Mulcair told the Commons on Tuesday it is essential to scrutinize the bill, and asked Harper to ensure that security and human rights experts are not only heard, but also heeded.

The Conservatives brought in the bill — which would significantly expand the powers of Canada's spy agency — following the murders of two Canadian soldiers last October.

The bill would also make it easier for authorities to control the movements of terror suspects, expand no-fly list powers, crack down on extremist propaganda and outlaw encouraging someone to commit a terrorist act.

OF THE LIARS, BY THE LIARS, AND FOR THE LIARS

Let's start with some basic concepts. You live in an age of lies. Every day of your life you are literally being drowned in lies. Lies by government. Lies by advertisers. Lies by the corporate media.

Truth has become such a valuable commodity that the government is economizing it!

Liars, meaning good convincing liars (i.e. sociopaths, who evince no guilt when they lie) , lie because they are able to get what they want from people, especially if those people are conditioned from childhood to tell and to believe that others will tell the truth.

It may seem that I am stating the obvious, but the point I want to make is that all ruling power is, is the willingness and ability to do things the ruled may not, or have been conditioned to believe they cannot do.

The Troika’s Message to the New Greek Government: We Don’t Care About Humanitarian Issues

Since 2010 the troika, consisting of the International Monetary Fund, the European Central Bank and the European Union’s commission, has forced different governments in Athens to implement six consecutive austerity programs which have severely lowered the living standards of working people, devastated Greece’s social systems and plunged millions into poverty. This is why on 25 January, the majority of the Greek population decided to vote for a party that raised their hopes for a better future by promising an end to austerity.

Four weeks later this dream has been shattered. In last week’s negotiations the troika left no doubt that it will not deviate from its path of insisting on the unrestricted continuation of austerity politics. In other words: The working people of Greece will have to keep filling the gaps in the state budget generated by the bank bailout in the beginning stages of the Euro crisis.

US Supreme Court: FISA surveillance stays secret

Lawyers for Adel Daoud requested access to the surveillance application that prosecutors submitted to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court to show that the teenager was targeted by an FBI-orchestrated sting because of computer searches related to a term paper. Last January, US District Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman ruled that for the first time such access ought to be granted. After the 7th Circuit Court overturned the ruling, Daoud’s lawyers appealed to the Supreme Court.

"Without access to FISA materials, it is virtually impossible for defendants to challenge the lawfulness of the government's surveillance of them," Daoud’s appeal said.

What Is FCC Hiding? Show Us

The Federal Communications Commission plans sweeping new regulations on the Internet that it claims will help consumers. If so, why are they keeping these rules hidden before voting on them Thursday?

For years, the FCC has been trying to impose itself on the Internet in name of "net neutrality," only to be thwarted by the courts. Even net neutrality backers can point to only fear, not harm, as justification for such intervention.

Rather than admit net neutrality is a solution in search of a problem, FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler decided — at the urging of President Obama — to regulate the Internet under what's called Title II. That's the part of the law that established the FCC and would let the government regulate competitive Internet service providers as though they were Ma Bell circa 1935.

Wheeler has refused to release the 332-page plan he wants the commission to approve on Thursday, citing FCC tradition as the reason.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Net Neutrality can be described on a single page. So what are in the either 331 pages the FCC doesn't want you to see? Licenesed required (with heavy fees) for globs? Content control under "Standards and practices" as is now done with TV? Transfer of the public bandwidth into corporate control (again, as was done with radio and TV)?

It looks like the government created the whole "Net Neutrality Crisis" to get us to go along with allowing the White House to seize control of the internet, which has become a major threat to those who rule by lies and deception.

Obama's regs will make Internet slow as in Europe, warn FCC, FEC commissioners

“These Internet regulations will deter broadband deployment, depress network investment and slow broadband speeds. How do we know? Compare Europe, which has long had utility-style regulations, with the United States, which has embraced a light-touch regulatory model. Broadband speeds in the United States, both wired and wireless, are significantly faster than those in Europe. Broadband investment in the United States is several multiples that of Europe. And broadband’s reach is much wider in the United States, despite its much lower population density,” the two wrote.

They also joined to warn about the Democrat-chaired Federal Election Commission eyeing regulation of political speech on the Internet.

Noting recent votes on the issue that ended in a political deadlock, the two wrote, “these close votes and the risk of idiosyncratic case-by-case enforcement inevitably discourage citizens and groups from speaking freely online about politics.”

Man Charged with 'Obstruction of Justice' in Georgia For Refusing Illegal ID Demand Wins, Has Criminal Case Dismissed By Witless Prosecutors

Truck driver Kenny Capell of TN runs trucking a business with his wife hauling freight across the country. On April 15, 2014, while Kenny's wife was driving and he was off duty sleeping, Georgia police officer Leigh A. Parsons woke Kenny up out of the sleeper berth and demanded his ID with no probable cause at a weigh station on I-75 in Ringgold, GA. The same officer had done this a month prior so this time, Kenny refused on principal to show the cop his ID since she had no legal justification and no warrant. Kenny was then arrested, handcuffed, jailed and kept in a cage until he was bailed out twelve hours later. Charged with the criminal offense of 'obstruction of justice,' Capell fought it in court and after stalling nearly a near, the GA prosecutor dropped the case yesterday. The rogue police now face a civil rights lawsuit for false arrest. Great job Kenny for standing up for liberty!

White House Economic Report Calls for Cutting Corporate Taxes

On Thursday, the White House released its “2015 Economic Report of the President,” presenting it as an argument for “middle-class economics.”

The document seeks to justify Obama’s scheme, spelled out in his most recent budget proposal, to slash corporate taxes by up to ten percentage points. The report attempts to obscure the fact that such a windfall for the corporate-financial elite will dramatically increase social inequality, claiming instead that it will “increase productivity, output and living standards.”

The document falsifies both present economic reality and the development of the US economy in the post-World War II period in order to argue for further pro-corporate “reforms.”

Title 47 CFR Part 15

Webmaster's Commentary:

With the revelations about NSA back doors into our digital devices, it is time to take a look back at a very strange requirement that appears on electronic devices. Certainly nobody can argue that causing interference is a bad thing, but the second half of that warning seems very strange, that the device must accept interference that causes unwanted operation!

What does that mean? Am I not allowed to put my device in a Faraday cage to protect it from government jamming?

FCC Defenders insist that this requirement to accept interference is to protect operators of legally compliant devices from being harassed by their neighbors, yet 47 C.F.R. 15.5 makes it clear that reports of interference to the FCC are enforced and the operator of the interfering device has to make corrections.

Frankly, it sounds like an open door to government jamming of radio and TV devices and a prohibition from taking any steps to prevent such mischief!

NSA director defends plan to maintain 'backdoors' into technology companies

The National Security Agency director, Mike Rogers, on Monday sought to calm a chorus of doubts about the government’s plans to maintain built-in access to data held by US technology companies, saying such “backdoors” would not be harmful to privacy, would not fatally compromise encryption and would not ruin international markets for US technology products.

Rogers mounted an elaborate defense of Barack Obama’s evolving cybersecurity strategy in an appearance before an audience of cryptographers, tech company security officers and national security reporters at the New America Foundation in Washington. In an hour-long question-and-answer session, Rogers said a cyber-attack against Sony pictures by North Korea last year showed the urgency and difficulty of defending against potential cyber threats.

CIA Planning Major Expansion of Cyber-Espionage Capabilities

The CIA, usually known for it’s human-based intelligence gathering work, has announced plans to expand its cyber-espionage operations.

The changes will come as part of a restructuring effort after the agency decided that in the age of digital media, it’s traditional, human-centered approach to intelligence gathering is behind the times, US officials told the Washington Post.

“[CIA Director John] Brennan is trying to update the agency to make sure it is prepared to tackle the challenges in front of it,” said a U.S. official familiar with the plan told the Post, adding that “I just don’t think you can separate the digital world people operate in” from the CIA’s traditional methods.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This announcement makes me feel anything but more safe.

Rather, in the hands of this particular organisation, such capabilities are going to be used to chill free speech even further, and and attempt to forcibly manufacture consent, where none actually exists.

Even though Brennan would probably love to see the internet suppressed completely, except for limited commercial application, free honest (and peaceful) discussions of what is going on with government will still exist, in some incarnation or another; as the old phrase goes, the genie is out of the bottle, and unlikely to be re-bottled any time soon.

And I will state again: I am a Christian pacifist, who never advocates violence of any kind. I look for peaceful, workable, logical solutions to this country's problems, and those of the world.

But the most monumentally simple way to avoid threats to this country, and her people, would be for this government to stop mucking about in other people's countries for resources to which it has absolutely no moral right whatsoever.

I look at what China and Russia are doing to get what they need; they are making deals.

What does the US government do to get what it needs, and prevent the financial and political aspirations of other countries whose currencies might eclipse the US dollar? It wages wars.

And what is wrong with this picture?!?

NSA and GCHQ: Big Brother Would Have Never Believed

On February 16, researchers at the Moscow-based security group Kaspersky Lab announced the discovery of the ultimate virus which has virtually infected all spheres of military and civilian computing in more than 40 countries around the world. Yahoo exec grills NSA director over ‘backdoor’ access to private data

“It sounds like you agree with [Federal Bureau of Investigation Director James] Comey that we should be building defects into the encryption in our products so that the US government can decrypt,” Yahoo’s chief information-security officer, Alex Stamos, said during the 'Cybersecurity for a New America: Big Ideas and New Voices' conference.

Rogers cut the question off, saying: “That would be your characterization.”

Stamos then proceeded further, asking the NSA director whether US tech firms should also build backdoors for foreign countries requesting access to private data.

Twitter comes out for #NetNeutrality

One after another, web giants are openly backing ‘net neutrality’ reforms proposed by the FCC. Twitter endorsed the plan on Monday, calling the open internet the “heart of Twitter.”

The internet not only “provides the lowest barrier to competitive entry” for businesses, but also serves “as a great equalizer in the access to information and in reaching a global audience,” Twitter public policy manager Will Carty wrote in a statement. “If you have an opinion or a new innovative web-based service, you don’t have to get permission to share it with the world at large.”

Greece Crisis Opinion : Troika Rises From The Dead As Draghi Leads The Charge, And Varoufakis Employs Brave Face

I don’t actually think the five-point italic hand-tying target codicils matter a damn to be honest, because they’re all unachievable anyway.

Far more relevant is what EC behaviour has been found acceptable to the Greek Government.

Did you know, for instance, that both the Gang of Four revisions, the Friday ambush, and the ELA threats/leaks to Greek banks were driven by Draghi?

Did you know that – in a direct sideswipe at rehiring Ministerial cleaners – there is a blanket ban under the agreement on any more public sector hiring?

Did you know that, just to rub in really hard that how they think the Greeks shit on their shoes, eurogroup told Varoufakis Friday that they were “handing over the judgement process to the organisation formally known as the Troika” – Draghi’s exact words. This was a direct hit on Syriza’s refusal to deal with the Troika. “Eurogroup will leave the details to this institution, who will present their view to eurogroup” he added.

This is a pretty massive security breach, allowing these intelligence agencies to decrypt calls that people thought were encrypted. But Gemalto insists its SIM cards are perfectly secure...

On January 31st, William Shanley was arrested in New London, CT and charged with a felony attempt to assualt a police officer along with two misdemeanors of interfering with a police officer/resisting arrest and 2nd degree breach of peace. To me, this seems awfully convenient and not only a way to try and silence him, but also a way to scare him, in other words, trying to make an example of him. From what I have learned, Shanley is not yet in tight with people such as me and others in the activist community, which can get very scary as we all prefer to stick together and have each others backs incase something of this nature happens.

Making Me Pay For My Crimes Would Send “Message of Uncertainty to the Markets”: Bank President to Spanish Judge

The first to hit back was Rodrigo Rato, the bank’s former chairman and one-time IMF president. In a 75-page notice of appeal that was leaked to the Spanish press, Rato cautioned that Judge Andreu’s “premature” decision to force the six defendants to compensate the thousands of shareholders they are accused of defrauding could end up provoking a “much greater evil” than that it is supposed to address.

In the worst case scenario, the document warns, it could send a “message of uncertainty to the markets,” which could in turn exert downward pressure (otherwise known as gravity) on the already semi-defunct bank’s share price. This is not the first time that a panicked banker has used this argument; indeed, it is the preferred alibi of all 21st-century banking racketeers.

The argument is simple:

Don’t touch me, or the bank gets it. And if the bank gets it, so will everyone else.

FBI Flouts Directive to Limit Gag Orders on National Security Letters

Despite the post-Snowden spotlight on mass surveillance, the intelligence community’s easiest end-run around the Fourth Amendment since 2001 has been something called a National Security Letter.

FBI agents can demand that an Internet service provider, telephone company or financial institution turn over its records on any number of people — without any judicial review whatsoever — simply by writing a letter that says the information is needed for national security purposes. The FBI at one point was cranking out over 50,000 such letters a year; by the latest count, it still issues about 60 a day.

Secrecy around police surveillance equipment proves a case’s undoing

The case against Tadrae McKenzie looked like an easy win for prosecutors. He and two buddies robbed a small-time pot dealer of $130 worth of weed using BB guns. Under Florida law, that was robbery with a deadly weapon, with a sentence of at least four years in prison.

But before trial, his defense team detected investigators’ use of a secret surveillance tool, one that raises significant privacy concerns. In an unprecedented move, a state judge ordered the police to show the device — a cell-tower simulator sometimes called a StingRay — to the attorneys.

Rather than show the equipment, the state offered McKenzie a plea bargain.

The Destabilization Doctrine: ISIS, Proxies and Patsies

It would certainly seem that way if one were to take at face value the putrid assertions of Western governments that are not particularly known for their honesty or integrity. But astute observers of history and geopolitics can spot a deception when they see one, and the latest theatrical performances being marketed to the masses as real, organic occurrences remind one of a Monty Python sketch.

In the past week we have witnessed a number of expedient events that were designed to legitimize the West’s imperialist foreign policies in the minds of the masses. Australia’s Prime Minister Tony Abbott and the Islamic State: The Case for Removing the “Fantasist-in-Chief”

Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott is full of predictable surprises. Stomping and punching his way into the history books, his government finds itself teetering before the electoral precipice. As it should. His domestic policy lies in stagnant waters. His foreign policy has entered the comic books – a Marvel animation with misguided perceptions of world power, his seemingly rehearsed idiocy lead to threats of “shirt-fronting” Vladimir Putin and prosaic speculations at world summits. His dangerous union with Peta Credlin, his tyrannical bully of a chief of staff who keeps ministers in line and leaks to please, continues to thrive with ominous energy.

Cop Chains Innocent Man to Wall, Beats Him, Gouges Eyes After Refusing to Confess to a Crime

In August of 2013 former detective Rodolfo Gomez savagely beat Deron Love during an interrogation. He was chained to the wall.

Love, 27, was accused of killing his 7-month-old baby, a charge he would not confess to and one that he would eventually beat.

A year after being tortured by Gomez, Love was found not guilty of first-degree reckless homicide and child neglect in the death of his infant son.

Love’s innocence was of no matter to Gomez who repeatedly compelled him to confess.

After becoming tired of being told to confess to a crime that he did not commit, Love became agitated and began screaming in the face of Gomez. Gomez, then “feared for his safety” as the man, who was chained to a wall yelled at him. So he began to beat the restrained man – savagely.

There are two videos of Gomez’s interaction with Love. In the first video, Gomez is seen unleashing multiple punches and knee blows to the face and head of Love.

JFK Airport officials filter fecal matter in search for drugs

The federal government is looking for doctors to help monitor suspected smugglers’ bowel movements at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, in a solicitation that sounds like it could be something out of the Discovery Channel’s “Dirty Jobs” program.

In reality it’s all a very sanitary process and even includes a special high-tech toilet to recover the drugs or other contraband from the other waste passing from the suspected smuggler’s system.

But the details, described in a new solicitation for doctors to assist U.S. Customs and Border Protection, underscore the efforts smugglers will go to in trying to get their goods into the country, and the lengths the government will go to try to flush them out.

Bombshell Interview: Cop Reveals That “Planting Evidence And Lying” Are Just “Part Of The Game” By John Vibes

snip: One of the consequences of the war on drugs is that police officers are pressured to make large numbers of arrests, and it’s easy for some of the less honest cops to plant evidence on innocent people. The drug war inevitably leads to crooked policing — and quotas further incentivize such practices. It doesn’t help that your higherups all did the same thing when they were on the road. It’s like a neverending cycle. Like how molested children accept that as okay behavior and begin molesting children themselves.

Fracking: Ohio’s oil-and-gas industry donations, ruling tied?

The dissenting opinion of Justice William M. O’Neill in a fracking case was not without factual basis: Ohio’s oil-and-gas industry poured about $1.4 million into the campaign coffers of legislators and other state officials in 2013-14 — including about $8,000 for the justice who wrote the pro-industry ruling and $7,200 for another who concurred — a Dispatch computer analysis shows.

Their Double Standard and Ours Muslims Lives Matter, Too (But Only in Theory) by ANDREW LEVINE

snip: If you kill a bunch of people and you are white, the assumption is that you have a psychological problem; if you are Muslim, or if your ancestors were, Allah made you do it.

When atrocities happen, calls go out to fix the system. When the perpetrator is white and the victims are Muslim, this usually means fixing the mental health delivery system; not the causes of institutional and attitudinal Islamophobia. When the perpetrators are Muslim, there is nothing to do but beef up the police – or call in the army.

In Western public opinion, and in the practice of Western governments, Islam and double standards go hand in hand.

Anti What? The Fallacy of Rising Anti-Semitism by URI AVNERY

An Israeli viewpoint Snip: When Binyamin Netanyahu does not miss an opportunity to declare that he represents all the Jews in the world, he makes all the world’s Jews responsible for Israeli policies and actions.

When Jewish institutions in France, the US and everywhere totally and uncritically identify with the policies and operations of Israel, such as the recent Gaza war, they turn themselves voluntarily into potential victims of revenge actions. The French Jewish leadership, CRIF, did so just now.

Neither of these reasons has anything to do with anti-Semitism.

Tomgram: Peter Van Buren, Watching the Same Movie About American War for 75 Years

a good recap of formulaic war porn

snip: All it takes these days to turn a loss into a win is to zoom in tight enough to ignore defeat. In American Sniper, the disastrous occupation of Iraq is shoved offstage so that more Iraqis can die in Kyle’s sniper scope. In Lone Survivor, a small American “victory” is somehow dredged out of hopeless Afghanistan because an Afghan man takes a break from being droned to save the life of a SEAL.

In sum: gritty, brave, selfless men, stoic women waiting at home, noble wounded warriors, just causes, and the necessity of saving American lives. Against such a lineup, the savage enemy is a crew of sitting ducks who deserve to die. Everything else is just music, narration, and special effects. War pornos, like their oversexed cousins, are all the same movie.

Leaked e-mails show that Israeli consulate, StandWithUs tried to thwart Northwestern divestment (Updated)

The Israeli consulate and other pro-Israel groups teamed up to try to thwart a divestment campaign at Northwestern University, according to e-mails obtained by Mondoweiss.

Top 10 Bogus ISIS Stories By Adam Johnson

“If we really saw war, what war does to young minds and bodies, it would be impossible to embrace the myth of war. If we had to stand over the mangled corpses of schoolchildren killed in Afghanistan and listen to the wails of their parents, we would not be able to repeat clichés we use to justify war. This is why war is carefully sanitized. This is why we are given war's perverse and dark thrill but are spared from seeing war's consequences. The mythic visions of war keep it heroic and entertaining…

The wounded, the crippled, and the dead are, in this great charade, swiftly carted offstage. They are war's refuse. We do not see them. We do not hear them. They are doomed, like wandering spirits, to float around the edges of our consciousness, ignored, even reviled. The message they tell is too painful for us to hear. Kagan + Nuland: Liberal Interventionists Michael S. Rozeff

snip: Kagan stands for the liberal values that came out of the Enlightenment and characterize the Western states. But he also believes that these states are pansies who need to be muscular in defense of these values. “Muscular” means interventionist and ever-willing to insert force and arms in foreign lands; not in classic self-defense but on a pro-active, preemptive basis. In other words, to maintain liberal values and promote liberalism worldwide, the liberal states have to behave illiberally. They have to attack other countries that they deem threatening. They have to be provocative toward any country that doesn’t meet their standards of liberality.

US judge dismisses antitrust case against Google over Android apps

A U.S. federal judge has dismissed an antitrust lawsuit that charges Google harmed consumers by forcing Android handset makers to use its apps by default, but gave the plaintiffs three weeks to amend their complaint.

Google faces allegations of anticompetitive behavior in a number of antitrust cases around the world. The most recent case involves Russian search engine company Yandex, which has accused Google of illegally forcing Android device manufacturers to install its own apps and exclude software from competitors. Yandex said on Feb. 18 that it had filed a complaint with the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) asking the authority to investigate Google for possible violations of Russian antitrust law.

Iran not to seal "vague, imperfect" deals: FM

TEHRAN, Feb. 22--Iran will not put its signature on agreements which are "ambiguous and imperfect," Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif told state IRIB TV on Sunday.

"No accord will be sealed unless a comprehensive agreement is reached," Zarif said in Geneva as U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry is scheduled to join the ongoing bilateral talks on Sunday and Monday over Tehran's long-disputed nuclear program.

"Petit, fragmentary and temporary agreements are neither in favor of our country nor the other party," Zarif was quoted as saying.

Yatsenyuk is a Washington favorite. He’s virulently anti-Russian. He wants Donbass freedom fighters crushed.

Maybe this time with US-led NATO help? Will Ukraine be another Libya?

A Century of American Figurehead Presidents Marching to the Beat of Wall Street and the New World Order

But between our Presidents’ Day sales, popcorn and beer, this President’s Day 2015 might also be an opportune time to pause and reflect on our presidents over this last century. President’s Day then becomes a sober reckoning of how the fate of our cherished democratic republic was lost and stolen by today’s totalitarian oligarchy. A chronicle of this last century’s presidents offers us Americans a greater understanding of the diminished role our figurehead presidents have played as a mere public face to the shrouded power elite puppet masters pulling their strings. What follows is a presentational overview providing a step-by-step thread of continuity that has led us to the New World Order burgeoning today.

1913 was a pivotal year that brought to fruition the meticulously laid out agenda conspired in total secrecy of the Jekyll Island Coup d’Etat that culminated with the Federal Reserve Act signed by President Woodrow Wilson establishing the deceptively covert, privatized central banking cabal of the Federal Reserve Board. The other illegal 1913 coup that was part of the low-blow, one-two near knockout punch against the American people was the birth of the federal income tax. Thus the foundation of today’s globalist Ponzi scheme on the verge right now of implosion gained its lethal foothold into our lives just one year before “the war to end all wars.”

Hillary Clinton Exposed Part 1 – How She Aggressively Lobbied for Mega Corporations as Secretary of State

That approach, which Mrs. Clinton called “economic statecraft,” emerged in discussions with Robert Hormats, a former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. investment banker who has worked in Democratic and Republican administrations and became an undersecretary of state. “One of the very first items was, how do we strengthen the role of the State Department in economic policy?” he says.

Early in Mrs. Clinton’s tenure, according to Mr. Hormats, Microsoft’s then Chief Research Officer Craig Mundie asked the State Department to send a ranking official to a fourth annual meeting of U.S. software executives and Chinese government officials about piracy and Internet freedom. Mr. Hormats joined the December 2009 meeting in Beijing.

Mr. Hormats says there was no relation between Microsoft’s donations and the State Department’s participation in the China conference.

Sharyl Attkisson: Obama Administration Treats Journalists Like ‘Enemies of the State’

Investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson accused the Obama administration of stifling press freedom by systematically cracking down on reporters—even treating them like enemies.

“If you cross this administration with perfectly accurate reporting they don’t like, you will be attacked and punished,” Attkisson said. “You and your sources may be subjected to the kind of surveillance devised for enemies of the state.”

Swimming with the Sharks: Goldman Sachs, School Districts, and Capital Appreciation Bonds

Remember when Goldman Sachs – dubbed by Matt Taibbi the Vampire Squid – sold derivatives to Greece so the government could conceal its debt, then bet against that debt, driving it up? It seems that the ubiquitous investment bank has also put the squeeze on California and its school districts. Not that Goldman was alone in this; but the unscrupulous practices of the bank once called the undisputed king of the municipal bond business epitomize the culture of greed that has ensnared students and future generations in unrepayable debt.

Republic Of Texas Meeting Raided

TEXIANS UNDER ATTACK # 2

At the regularly scheduled meeting of the Republic of Texas, officially starting at 9:50 a.m. and held, as usual, at the rented VFW Post 4892 in Bryan, Texas, the congenial and unimposing group was raided at 10:10 a.m. by an army of policing agencies with flashing emergency lights: Police Departments of Bryan and College Station along with their Brazos County Sheriff’s Office counterparts (northeast of San Antonio) along with deputies from the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office (west of San Antonio), The Texas Rangers, Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol State Troopers, The Texas State Attorney General’s Office, the FBI, and the US Marshall Service. Ingress and egress from Harvey Mitchell Parkway was sealed even to the media that responded two hours later from KBTX television during the four-hour ordeal.

The bizarre war against AP U.S. history courses

This week an Oklahoma legislative committee voted overwhelmingly to effectively ban the teaching of Advanced Placement U.S. history classes. The bill’s author, Rep. Dan Fisher (R), said that state funds shouldn’t be used to teach the course — which students can take to receive college credit — because he believes it emphasizes “what is bad about America” and characterizes the United States as a “nation of oppressors and exploiters.” Fisher’s proposal to replace the ready-made, nationally used, college-recognized AP curriculum — studied by hundreds of thousands of high school students each year — with a homegrown substitute would cost the state an estimated $3.8 million.

A former candidate for the U.S. presidency has come down hard on the Canadian government's new anti-terrorism bill, calling it a crass effort to "sell the politics of fear."

The unseen adepts who rule America also rule the world. They are masters at understanding human nature.

They have spent hundreds of years creating the public mindset which they manipulate in our generation with the most perfect precision. Words, phrases and thought patterns are a political science that triggers exact and predictable responses to political rhetoric.

They have many names — the elite, Illuminati, Zionists, Bilderbergers, Trilateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations, World Bank and International Monetary Fund, to name a few — but in the end they are one in the same. Their goals are one in the same. Their goals are not your goals, but they are masters at convincing you they are.
