DICTATORSHIP

The Overthrow of Humanity

As far back as recorded history and, no doubt, much further than that, some groups of people have been trying to take over the known world. Sometimes it is one person, with an enormous ego or self appointed right of entitlement. But just as often it’s a group. The rest of us are viewed by them as cattle, useless eaters, cannon fodder, these days, organ donors but certainly, in their way.

Many people I talk to have trouble believing or understanding the long range goals of these so-called elite because the things they do are so fantastic and evil. The very first thing you need to do is stop relating what they are accused of doing with what you would do. There is no comparison. These people would eat their own children (and no doubt have) if they thought it would further their evil agenda.

The Stealing of America by the Cops, the Courts, the Corporations and Congress

Call it what you will—taxes, penalties, fees, fines, regulations, tariffs, tickets, permits, surcharges, tolls, asset forfeitures, foreclosures, etc.—but the only word that truly describes the constant bilking of the American taxpayer by the government and its corporate partners is theft.

We’re operating in a topsy-turvy Sherwood Forest where instead of Robin Hood and his merry band of thieves stealing from the rich to feed the poor, you’ve got the government and its merry band of corporate thieves stealing from the poor to fatten the wallets of the rich. In this way, the poor get poorer and the rich get richer. All the while, the American Dream of peace, prosperity, and liberty has turned into a nightmare of endless wars, debilitating debt, and outright tyranny.

Globalist Mouthpiece Calls For The Entire Planet To Adopt The ‘National Identification System’

Would you like to have a digital identity card that is automatically issued to you at birth?

In one European nation, residents use such a card when they go to the hospital, when they do their banking, when they go shopping and even when they vote.

This card has become so popular that this particular European country actually plans to start issuing them to millions of non-citizens all over the planet who request them.

The Economist, a well-known mouthpiece for the global elite, is calling for the entire planet to adopt this “national identification system” that the little nation of Estonia has adopted.

When the Government talks of Sanctions

Sanctions only serve the Government, not the People.

When a foreign country, such as Russia, Iran or Cuba, is at the receiving end of sanctions, only the people suffer. Americans suffer because they can’t export as much so they loose money. And the people in those foreign countries also suffer because they cannot receive the benefits of American-made products to make their lives better. In either case both governments benefit. How?

The US government enlarges its reach of power much like a two-bit mafia don: “Do what I say or else. Capisce?” It does not suffer because it produces nothing and its long arm is in every American pocket via the IRS and other tax authorities.

The foreign government is also happy because it too is a two-bit mafia don with its hands on every lever of the economy. When its people cannot progress they’re at its mercy: “Do what I say or no bread. Capisce?”

Ars editor learns feds have his old IP addresses, full credit card numbers

The 76 new pages of data, covering 2005 through 2013, show that CBP retains massive amounts of data on us when we travel internationally. My own PNRs include not just every mailing address, e-mail, and phone number I've ever used; some of them also contain:

  • The IP address that I used to buy the ticket
  • My credit card number (in full)
  • The language I used
  • Notes on my phone calls to airlines, even for something as minor as a seat change

The breadth of long-term data retention illustrates yet another way that the federal government enforces its post-September 11 "collect it all" mentality.

Police fake 911 calls to gain illegal entry into private homes

A very dubious new police tactic has been revealed, in which an officer used phony information in order to gain "consent" to search private properties without first obtaining a warrant, as required by the Fourth Amendment.

Officers in Durham, North Carolina, have found out they can create a legal pretext for a search after lying about calls to 911 emergency services that never really took place. Apparently, the tactic is legal, if you can believe that, and fairly common, according to one officer's sworn statements.

Kerry, Kerry pants on fire!: If You Believed the Secretary of State’s Poison Gas Lie, You’ll Love His Latest One

If the best the US can do to pin the blame for the Malaysia Flight 17 downing on Russia is to have Secretary of State John Kerry say that “circumstantial evidence” points to Moscow being behind it, we can be pretty certain it was not Russia at all.

    Webmaster's Commentary:

    Click for larger image

To find a lie look for what should be there and isn't, and what isn't there in the case of MH17 is a REASON for either Russia or the Eastern Ukrainians to shoot down a civilian passenger jet, knowing that such an act would turn world opinion against them. On the other hand, shooting down a civilian passenger jet to frame Russia and the Eastern Ukrainians in order to turn world opinion against them is a great motive for either Kiev or the US to have committed this crime.

Whistleblower: IRS in cahoots with NSA

One of the architects of the National Security Agency’s eavesdropping technology told a radio host today the Internal Revenue Service, or IRS, has “direct access” to the NSA’s domestic spying data and was likely using it to target the tea party.

NSA whistleblower William Binney was being interviewed on “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” on New York’s 970 AM The Answer when he disclosed the startling revelation.

“For example,” Binney said in response to a question on how the NSA can use data and metadata to identify potential threats, “if you started to communicate with people involved in the tea party … and [the NSA] saw you were talking to somebody who was involved in setting up 501(c)3s, then they could alert the IRS to target you if you came in with a request.”

Michigan Food Seizure by Stealth, Welcome to Amerika

Jenny Samuelson was all set to do the deal dictated by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development: Dispose of nearly $5,000 worth of raw milk, cream, butter, eggs, and cheese. Under MDARD supervision, she was to bring the 250 gallons of milk to a neighboring farm, where the farmer would use it for fertilizer. The 10 gallons of cream and 20 pounds of butter would go in a dumpster. And the 100 dozen beautiful unwashed and unrefrigerated pastured eggs (raised without soy feed) would be smashed and turned into compost.

She would also discontinue all deliveries of cream and butter to herdshare members, despite their serious unhappiness about losing access to these foods.

But then the MDARD agents canceled out on the Saturday morning arrangements whereby they would observe the disposal of the food. They have now agreed to show up first thing Monday morning to watch the dirty deed.

    Webmaster's Commentary:

The government wants us all dependent on the large food corporations, even if what those corporations provide is inferior to naturally produced farm food. It's all about the money, and a healthy population is not only not a factor, but preferable to keep us dependent on the pharmaceutical industry to deal with the illnesses from corporate foods' chemical additives.

One Of The NSA's Original Whistleblowers Says The Goal Is 'Total Population Control'

William Binney is one of the highest-level whistleblowers to ever emerge from the NSA. He was a leading code-breaker against the Soviet Union during the Cold War but resigned soon after September 11, disgusted by Washington’s move towards mass surveillance.

On 5 July he spoke at a conference in London organized by the Centre for Investigative Journalism and revealed the extent of the surveillance programs unleashed by the Bush and Obama administrations.

“At least 80% of fibre-optic cables globally go via the US”, Binney said. “This is no accident and allows the US to view all communication coming in. At least 80% of all audio calls, not just metadata, are recorded and stored in the US. The NSA lies about what it stores.”

UK's Drip law: cynical, misleading and an affront to democracy

The UK’s new Data Retention and Investigatory Powers (Drip) law that went from announcement to enactment in eight days, is a complete abomination. Everything about the process – and here, process is critical – is an affront to democracy, to the rule of law, to the rights of British and global citizens, and even to the erstwhile ends of national security.

The completely unsatisfactory process involved the announcement last Thursday that the three main party leaders had been working in private towards supporting a bill that wasn’t yet public, followed by a three day fast-track process through the Commons and Lords, an overnight afterthought on human rights compliance, vague and uncoordinated attempts at amendment, and a government reshuffle and countless other matters to distract and detract.

What Drip represents is the absence of true political leadership and an utter failure to engage in an open, mature, public debate about the clash between privacy and security online.

US Government Orders Farmers To Destroy 30 Million Pounds Of Their Own Crop

In one of the worst examples of government regulation and intrusion, the US government ordered Michigan cherry farmers to literally dump 30 million pounds of cherries on the ground. Even worse, many cherry farmers are being driven out of business because of the outrageous rules.

The practice is coming to national light because of a new lawsuit against the government filed by a cherry processor. A judge currently is considering issue.

“The food pantry shelves are bare, people going hungry, and here we are dumping millions of pounds of cherries on the ground,” Michigan cherry grower Rob Manigold said of the 2009 incident. That was the same year farmer Leonard Ligon dumped 72,000 pounds of tart cherries along a road outside Traverse City, Michigan, to protest US Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations on his state’s cherries.

12 Reasons Why Should Obama be Arrested Under the Patriot Act and the NDAA?

Never mind impeaching Obama. He needs to be arrested by the Sargent of Arms in Congress or a Courageous General in the Pentagon placing him in military custody under house arrest at Camp David or another secure location awaiting a fair and impartial trial having a jury of his peers with the assistance of council. The Patriot act and the NDAA can be used to arrest President Obama because of his terrorist ties and giving aid, working to undermine and destroy what is left of the republic by refusing to secure the border under Article 4 section 4 putting the American people in danger with diseases, releasing violent felons on the streets of American instead of deporting them, giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States and trying to collapse the country. Something has to give or we face a great danger if this Dictator is not stopped in his tracks. Because we believe in the rule of law. A person who "works for the TSA" accidentally posted a public comment to Facebook excoriating Rebecca Hains for expressing skepticism about the TSA's efficacy.

NY grandma jailed for violating protection order used to ‘quell dissent’ outside drone base

A New York grandmother was sentenced to a year in jail for violating a protection order filed by an Air National Guard commander against anti-war protesters.

Mary Anne Grady-Flores violated the protection order filed by Col. Earl Evans, prosecutors said, when she stepped on the grounds of Hancock Air Base to photograph a peaceful protest against the use of drones.

The judge imposed the maximum sentence July 10 for criminal contempt of court because the 58-year-old Grady-Flores had failed to pay fines and surcharges imposed by the court in a prior case.

Grady-Flores – the daughter of “Camden 28? Vietnam War protester John Grady — knew she was under court order to stay off base property, so she stood on a nearby roadway to photograph about 20 activists at the Ash Wednesday protest.

Her sister admits Grady-Flores briefly stepped onto a driveway on base property so another protester could show her how to take photos with an iPhone.

    Webmaster's Commentary:

"...Disorderly conduct for blocking the the roadway."?!?!? ARE YOU FLIPPING KIDDING ME?!?!?

Apparently, grandmothers who are completely peaceful scare the excrement out of Col. Earl Evans, and the peaceful expression of opinions contrary to war, more war, and extrajudicial assassinations is not to be tolerated on his watch.

It also is a very informative window on Obama's mindset that one of his most favorite ways to wage war is with drone attacks, which not only take out the alleged "bad guy" with no due process, but also takes out scores of innocent people, either killing them outright, or maiming them for life.

    Obama Admin Planned Children Invasion

Documents show that since 2012, Catholic and Baptist agencies have
received millions of dollars from the Obama Administration
for the "Unaccompanied Alien Children Project."
Since last October, over 60,000 Central American children

Catholic bishops and Catholic Charities have been in collusion with the Obama Administration - in violation of "separation of church and state"
Obviously the Government's motive isn't altruism.

Travelers will start paying higher TSA fees next week partly to help pay down the national deficit

Air travelers will fork over more money beginning next week because of a TSA fee increase.

But don't blame the Transportation Security Administration for the added cost.

According to a budget agreement hammered out to reopen the federal government after its October shutdown, the fee increase will go into the Treasury to help pay down the deficit, which is estimated to be $649 billion in 2014.

The TSA's "September 11th Security Fee" currently is $2.50 each way for nonstop flights, and $5 each way for trips with connections.

That will change to $5.60 each way for both nonstop and connecting flights. But layovers of four hours or more on domestic flights, or 12 hours or more on international flights, will be charged $5.60 for each leg. The 12-hour rule also applies to trips to and from Hawaii and Alaska. That means connecting trips with long layovers could end up with security fees of $22.40 or more.

Connecticut trooper admits to stealing cash, gold from dying motorcyclist

A veteran Connecticut state trooper faces a year and a half in prison after he pleaded guilty on Wednesday to stealing a dying motorcyclist’s cash and gold crucifix at the scene of a 2012 crash.

Aaron “AJ” Huntsman, 45, was caught by his own dashboard camera stealing the items belonging to John Scalesse, who was killed on Sept. 22, 2012 after his motorcycle crashed into a construction company truck in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Huntsman, a 19-year veteran of the state police force, pleaded guilty to two felonies: third-degree larceny and tampering with evidence. Superior Court Judge Robert Devlin imposed a term in prison of 16 months and then five years of probation, opposed to the possible 10 years Huntsman could have received.

Knowing war law exposes ALL US/UK/Israel war ‘reasons’ as BS propaganda; Oaths require leaders’ arrests

    *hyperlinks live at source*

US military, government (including law enforcement), and millions of Americans (including all California public employees) have Oaths to “defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” It’s hard to imagine a worse domestic enemy than those who knowingly lie for unlawful attack on foreign countries, resulting in millions of war-deaths. These lies include Israel’s easily-proved lies that Iran threatened to “wipe Israel off the map” (more on Iran) while Israel actually wipes Palestine off the map.

The US/UK/Israel wars of the present are Orwellian unlawful because they violate two treaties renouncing armed attack as a foreign policy option, and allowing military use only in a narrow definition of self-defense when attacked by another nation’s government (full explanation/documentation here).

Navy Releases McCain’s Records: USS Forrestal fire, July 29, 1967 - The worst accident aboard a US Navy surface vessel since WWII

The Navy released John McCain’s military record after a Freedom of Information Act request from the Associated Press. The record is packed with information on McCain’s medals and commendations but little else. The one thing that the McCain campaign does not want to see released is the record of McCain’s antics on board the USS Forestal in 1967. McCain was personally responsible for the deadliest fire in the history of the US Navy. That catastrophe, with 27 dead and over 100 wounded trumps McCain’s record as a prisoner of war in North Vietnam.

Hawks Hint at Expanding Use of Never-Ending War 'Slush Fund'

A proposal for supplemental war funding was under scrutiny Wednesday at a Congressional hearing, where Defense Department officials hinted that there is no end in sight to the need for this counterterrorism "war chest."

At issue is nearly $60 billion proposed last month by the White House for Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) funds for the 2015 budget. The pot for OCO, which until 2009 was called Global War on Terrorism, is on top of the base budget for the Defense Department, which for the 2015 proposal is nearly $500 billion.

Mattea Kramer of the National Priorities Project has pointed out that the OCO budget "isn’t subject to caps or cuts or any restrictions at all." This has led some, like Stephen Miles, coalition coordinator for Win Without War, to refer to it as "a massive slush fund to avoid fiscal discipline."

Saying That You're Not Concerned Because The NSA Isn't Interested In You Is Obnoxious And Dangerous

It's easy to claim that you're not worried when you're the one out there supporting those in power. It becomes a lot trickier when you're either criticizing those in power, or communicating with those who challenge the power structure. Suddenly, it's not so easy to sit on the sidelines and say "Meh, no one's going to care about me..." And that should be a major concern. The way we keep a strong democracy is by having people who are able and willing to challenge the status quo and those in power. And yes, the US is much more forgiving than many, many other countries to such people, but there are clear biases and clear cases where they are not at all accepting of such things. And the more of a chilling effect the government creates around those things, the more dangerous it becomes to stand up for what you believe in.

The files were located in a public library and freely handed over to the Free Beacon. Chaos Computer Club bolsters NSA spying complaint with Tor snooping evidence

The German Chaos Computer Club said Wednesday that it has added to its legal complaint about U.S. spying on German citizens evidence that the NSA allegedly snooped on at least one of its Tor servers.

The CCC filed a complaint with Germany’s federal prosecutor, Harald Range, in February, demanding an investigation into the German government’s alleged involvement in the U.S. National Security Agency’s mass surveillance of German citizens.

However, while Range started an investigation into the alleged tapping of Merkel’s phone by the NSA in June, he said there wasn’t enough evidence to start a similar investigation into the widely reported mass surveillance of German citizens.

The CCC hopes that new publications exposing data collection explicitly targeting servers that are used to connect to The Onion Router (Tor) network, a network that encrypts data traffic through random servers in order to obscure users’ identities, will change Range’s mind.

Governments on every continent are hiding an increasing reliance on private companies to snoop on citizens’ digital lives, the U.N. human rights office said Wednesday.

Stepping into a fierce debate over digital privacy rights, the U.N. office says it has strong evidence of a growing complicity among private companies in government spying. It says governments around the world are using both the law and covert methods to access private content and metadata.

U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay said the lack of transparency and tactics extend to governments’ ”de facto coercion of companies to gain broad access to information and data on citizens without them knowing.”

Standing on West Grand Boulevard last week, Detroit resident Sheree Bass held up a sign that said, “Stop the racket. Pay the taxes.” Underneath the phrase, she had taped a copy of the Wayne County tax statement for the home she’s lived in for years. Total amount due: $7,939.11

The problem, Bass says, is she doesn’t own the home located near Eastern Market. It’s actually owned by Oakland County developer Peter Barclae.

Bass is currently locked in a legal battle in Wayne County Circuit Court, along with a dozen other Detroiters who say Barclae is trying to sling homes they should’ve owned by now. Barclae, of West Bloomfield Township, contends otherwise.

FLASHBACK - Rivero challenges the NSA

Nobody got this. The coffee mug is still in the box. I am batting 1000 against the NSA's cryptographers! My first NSA challenge came out over a year ago. Had I been a real terrorist, I would have had ample time to carry out my nefarious plans.

This proves that the NSA cannot and does not track real criminals and terrorists, but exists to spy on law-abiding Americans citizens on behalf of a government grown paranoid over public awareness of their crimes and corruption.

    Webmaster's Commentary:

I decided to reprise this post, which is the history of the 6 challenges I hurled at the NSA over this last year to break a code created by an average human being.

Obviously the NSA would be well-motivated to break one of my codes to discourage other people from deciding to create their own encryption, but they never did. Even the claimed "Quantum Computer" which the NSA claimed could break any code failed.

The point is that the NSA's massive spying apparatus is incapable of finding and tracking real criminals or terrorists who have the resources needed to create and code their own encryption methods. I am not an expert cryptographer. I am only (after years of being away from it) a moderate C programmer. Yet I batted 1000 against the NSA fort an entire year.

Thus we are left with the conclusion that the NSA's massive spying operation is not about fighting terror, or even locating criminals, but about keeping watch on law-abiding Americans to deter us from thinking those double-plus ungood thoughts. That has not worked very well, in hindsight. No better than the NSA's ability to find the cyber-criminals planting ransomeware on your computers. Given that the NSA is desperate for some good publicity, you would think they would love to be able to put the head of a cyber-crook on a spike over the gates to their data center, but they haven't been able to manage that, which only reinforces my point.

Overwhelmed FCC Extends Deadline For Commenting On Net Neutrality

Today was supposed to be the deadline for filing comments with the FCC about its pending net neutrality proposal. But the Commission has just announced that, due to a surge in responses that is once again overwhelming its commenting system, the deadline has been extended to Friday.

“[W]e have seen an overwhelming surge in traffic on our website that is making it difficult for many people to file comments through our Electronic Comment

Thus, the deadline has been extended until midnight (presumably ET) Friday, July 18.

Florida inmate still on death row despite DNA proof of innocence discovered years ago

Years of legal wrangling over conclusive DNA evidence proving his innocence led the Florida Supreme Court to overturn Paul Hildwin’s murder conviction and death sentence two weeks ago. Yet Hildwin remains on death row.

Twenty-eight years after his conviction for a 1985 murder, Hildwin, 54, must wait - possibly for several months - for state prosecutors to decide whether to retry the case or drop the charges.

    Webmaster's Commentary:

Common sense says let the guy go, but I am sure the Prosecutors don;t want an "overturn" on their score card or face the resulting civil suit for wrongful imprisonment. And, jokes about rabid wombats aside, this is why I cannot support the death penalty. The system makes mistakes. It punishes the wrong people either through mistake or political corruption (the current Tsarnaev trial being a good example.) And until we can restore life to those it is wrongfully taken from, we should not take it in the first place.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has quietly embarked on a project to take the fingerprints of every Texan old enough to drive over the next 12 years, and add them to a statewide criminal history database.

Not only has the department made that momentous decision on its own, it doesn’t even have clear legal authority to do so.

A Guilty Verdict In Silk Road Case Could Doom Internet Freedoms

Ross Ulbricht, the 30-year-old American who allegedly created the online black marketplace Silk Road, was unsuccessful last week in convincing a federal judge that he is not the notorious hacker Dread Pirate Roberts and did not conspire to deal illegal narcotics and launder money, sparking concern among privacy advocates that Internet freedoms may be nearing an end.

Digital rights advocates argue that Ulbricht failing to fight charges such as narcotics trafficking, computer hacking, money laundering, and criminal enterprise engagement for his alleged role in setting up Silk Road, will be used by lawmakers and intelligence officials as evidence that there is a need to create legislation to eliminate the “dark side” of the Internet, which has become a breeding ground for illegal activity.

Academics: UK 'Drip' data law changes are 'serious expansion of surveillance'

In an open letter to the full House of Commons, 15 experts in technology law express concern at the Data Retention and Investigatory Powers bill (Drip) which, they say, will increase government access to communications data and content and are being unnecessarily rushed through Parliament.

"The legislation goes far beyond simply authorising data retention in the UK," the letter states. "In fact, Drip attempts to extend the territorial reach of the British interception powers, expanding the UK’s ability to mandate the interception of communications content across the globe. It introduces powers that are not only completely novel in the United Kingdom, they are some of the first of their kind globally."

Obama Administration Defends 'Almost-Orwellian' NSA in Federal Court

In his December 2013 opinion in Klayman v. Obama, Judge Richard Leon of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ruled that the "almost-Orwellian technology that enables the government to store and analyze the phone metadata of every telephone user in the United States" not only sounds like the stuff of dystopian science fiction, it "almost certainly does violate a reasonable expectation of privacy" under the Fourth Amendment. It was the first major legal defeat for the NSA.

NSA may be putting Israeli security interests above U.S., new document reveals

Greenwald, who published many of Snowden's revelations over the last year, released his book "No Place to Hide"on Wednesday. Concurrently with the release of the book, Greenwald made public slides that Snowden obtained from the NSA. One of them deals with intelligence relations with Israel.

"Balancing the SIGINT exchange equally between U.S. and Israeli needs has been a constant challenge in the last decade; it arguably tilted heavily in favor of Israeli security concerns. 9/11 came, and went, with NSA's only true Third Party CT relationship being driven almost totally by the needs of the partner," one slide reads.

Another slide states, "The Israelis are extraordinarily good SIGINT partners for us, but … they target us to learn our positions on Middle East problems. A NIE [National Intelligence Estimate] ranked them as the third most aggressive intelligence service against the U.S."

False Flag Attack Coming against Police Coming to Demonize the Patriots?

While we have the ADL training our police to have the public be against them and the possibility of these online rants being government trolls hired to post these comments and content promoting violence against the police on social media sites like Twitter and Facebook. We are seeing it in TV programming where the situation is a patriot, the veteran or gun owners as the villain. The Federal government is perceived as the saviors to rescue the country from these people who love liberty. They are working hard to prepare the narrative against the liberty movement as the blame for the violence against the police.

Police open fire on Palestine solidarity activists at Los Angeles rally for Israel

An officer with the Department of Homeland Security opened fire on Palestine solidarity activists as they drove away from a pro-Israel rally in front of the Federal Building in Westwood in Los Angeles on Sunday. The activists have also complained that they were attacked by Israel supporters.

The Electronic Intifada’s Ali Abunimah was attacked by Los Angeles police in the same area while filming a pro-Israel rally last week.

After being shot at, the men were detained by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department and then smeared by various media outlets as violent members of Hamas.

Bill Maher Blasts 'Useless Obama Hacks without a Shred of Intellectual Honesty'

Bill Maher went after the left over NSA spying on Friday night; specifically, liberals who have refused to criticize surveillance under President Obama as opposed to, you know, when George Bush did it. Maher said, "If this was happening under Bush, liberals would be apoplectic. I'm sorry, but liberals are just sometimes useless Obama hacks without a shred of intellectual honesty."

Congresswoman Donna Edwards jumped in to make clear she's very apoplectic, saying Congress needs to set more limits on the NSA's dragnet and arguing for more privacy advocates who can take on the government in the name of individual liberties.

Ron Suskind added that for years, the government kept sneering at critics and asking where their proof is, and so the one great thing Snowden did was provide the proof.

Surprise! FEC employee who admitted violating the Hatch Act suffers mysterious hard drive crash

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) on Monday made yet another request to the federal government for details about a crashed hard drive that may have contained information allowing criminal charges to be brought against a federal official.

Issa’s newest letter concerns the hard drive of April Sands, a former employee at the Federal Election Commission who resigned in the spring after admitting to violations of the Hatch Act. That law puts restrictions on the ability of government officials to conduct political activities while on the job, or from government offices.

Issa noted that while Sands admitted to violating the law, the FEC just recently told Congress that it could not recover her hard drive, which made it impossible to seek criminal charges against her.

And now: The criminalization of parenthood

A couple of themes we explore here at The Watch are the increasing criminalization of just about everything and the use of the criminal justice system to address problems that were once (and better) handled by families, friends, communities and other institutions. A few examples from recent headlines show those themes intersecting with parenthood.

The first story comes from South Carolina, where a mother was jailed and charged with “unlawful conduct toward a child” for . . . leaving her 9-year-old daughter alone to play in a park.

The Numbers are so Artificial Now, It Wouldn’t Take Much for the “Beach Ball” to Pop-Up

Maybe excess profit taxes come into play and since you don’t have paperwork for something you bought, the IRS might say “Oh, ok, your basis price is zero, and therefore, everything you’re selling it for has to be reported as 100% capital gains. Therefore, we are going to tax you at 50, 60, 70%” or Whatever you do that is excess profit taxes for all of these social misfits and terrorists that dare to try to hedge and protect themselves from a financial system that is teetering on the edge. I have every expectation that we are going to have excess profit taxes (on precious metals). ~Eric Dubin

The Real Purpose Of The IMF

The International Monetary Fund was set up in 1945, describing itself as an “organization of 188 countries, working to foster global monetary cooperation, secure financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote high employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty around the world.”

This all sounds very laudable, but in reality the IMF has a very different purpose from that which is stated. If you look at the history of the IMF’s intervention in countries around the world you will see a trail of disaster and looting that repeats time and time again wherever they go.

Professor compares California’s ‘one-party rule’ to Mexico PRI

LOS ANGELES (Legal Newsline) – Low voter turnout, increasing corruption and a lack of fresh ideas all can be contributed to California’s “one party rule,” according to a recent column.

On Tuesday CityWatch, a Los Angeles opinion and news website, posted a column authored by Joel Kotkin, a fellow in urban studies at Chapman University, in which he compares California’s current political climate to that of Mexico’s 40 years ago, when the country suffered under a one-party dictatorship – Partido Revolucionario Institucional.

    Kotkin

In his column, “One Party Rule is No Party in California,” Kotkin writes that while the reformed Mexico used to be hobbled by slow growth, soaring inequality, endemic corruption and dead politics, California, in contrast, was considered a model American state, with a highly regarded Legislature, relatively clean politics, a competitive political process and a soaring economy.

US standards for software may allow 'back doors' for the NSA: Experts

A panel of top independent experts says US government standards for software may enable the National Security Agency to have a back door for its spying programs.

The experts, which published their conclusion on Monday, were hired by The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), which is legally required to consult with the NSA to get security software approved.

Former NSA contractor Edward Snowden revealed in September that the NSA detects back doors to circumvent the software’s efficacy and doesn't report it back to the institute.

The software programs are widely used coding formulas designed to prevent interception and hacking. The board of Independent experts has concluded that the NIST needs to review its obligation to confer with the NSA and seek legal changes.

Visit to the Mount Carmel Branch Davidian Massacre Site, July 14, 2014

I first visited the site of the Branch Davidian Massacre in 2008. My wife and I were in the Waco area this morning so we stopped by once again and took some video of the current site of the 'Waco' tragedy, for a virtual tour of what the place looks like 21 years after the siege. Upon our arrival we were greeted by two very nice labs.
On April 19, 1993 the government slaughtered 82 innocent men, women, and children at the property. One year later, the survivors were acquitted of all murder charges in the deaths of four federal agents. The jury found that the Davidians acted in self defense. This is a little known fact by the general public, who are basically told that a pervert child molester and his cult group committed mass suicide.

Awaken slaves! - How The Private Central Bank Ponzi Scheme Trapped And Destroyed America

Private Central Banking is not about banking, or even about money. It is about Control. Private Central Banking is about rule by enforced servitude to artificially created debt. No different from other hoaxes played by the rich on the poor, such as Rule by Divine Right, or Rule by Chattel Ownership of your Body (slavery). As a human civilization we have outgrown these hoaxes and realize they are illegitimate forms of governance. So too shall it be with Rule by Debt. Those previous systems only worked as long as the subjugated population believed that those systems were real; the way the world was supposed to be. When the people broke free of the slavery of belief, those forms of enslavement collapsed. For the few to feel rich, everyone else must be poor.

Eglin Air Force Base Busted Gaming Reddit

Check out this blog post with reddit statistics. Notice Eglin Air Force Base as the “most addicted” city. This is about a year ago, so reddit has been getting heavily sh!tp0sted by government employees for at least this long.

Here is a paper funded by Eglin AFB studying how to establish majority views, social control, influence conversations, contain unwanted information. Eglin AFB is a major hub for Pentagon domestic manipulation programs online.

A lot of this got established right when the war on terror started. Then in 2012 the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act legalized Pentagon / other agency domestic propaganda. That’s not to say what we think of as ‘propaganda’ or manipulation wasn’t going on before – just that they no longer have to plausibly believe the narrative they try to trick you into buying.

Hacking Online Polls and Other Ways British Spies Seek to Control the Internet

The secretive British spy agency GCHQ has developed covert tools to seed the internet with false information, including the ability to manipulate the results of online polls, artificially inflate pageview counts on web sites, “amplif[y]” sanctioned messages on YouTube, and censor video content judged to be “extremist.” The capabilities, detailed in documents provided by NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, even include an old standby for pre-adolescent prank callers everywhere: A way to connect two unsuspecting phone users together in a call.
