Reporting from Washington - Leading GOP lawmakers cautioned U.S. Atty. Gen. Eric H. Holder Jr. on Wednesday against opening an investigation into alleged CIA interrogation abuses, saying that such an inquiry could have serious national security repercussions.
This has nothing to do with US security, and everything to do with the profound embarrassment at what the US, a signatory to the Geneva Conventions, did to these prisoners of war, forbidden under the Geneva Conventions.
The American people bought and paid for this behavior, and have every right to see precisely what their tax dollars bought here.
