What Assets Did Greece Just Hand Over To Europe: "Airports, Airplanes, Infrastructure And Most Certainly Banks"

With the provocative and dramatic Greek "time out" language pulled from the final finmin and summit draft language, the two most humiliating aspects of the latest extend and pretend "deal" for the Greek people will be the return of the Troika's (surely we can call it the Troika again as part of the Greek capitulation) IMF mission to Athens, and the escrowing of some €50 billion in Greek assets in a liquidation fund.

Granted said fund will not be domiciled in Luxembourg as was originally envisioned, but Europe will still have control and first refusal rights over what are technically Greek properties, in the process Athens handing over about 25% of Greek GDP (and sovereignty) over the Brussels.

US Aid To El Salvador Came With Strings Attached: Monsanto Seeds Required

Farmers and activists for natural agriculture in El Salvador successfully resisted efforts by the U.S. government to tie foreign aid to the use of GMO seeds, in the latest attempt to link relief money with profits for Monsanto, the controversial multinational agribusiness giant.

In 2013, the U.S. offered El Salvador $277 million in aid through the Millennium Challenge Corporation, a foreign aid agency established under President George W. Bush. Then, in 2014, Dahr Jamail reports for Truthout, U.S. officials started putting increased pressure on the Central American country to make “economic and environmental policy changes” in return for receiving the next phase of the aid package. A key part of the disagreement involved programs to provide locally produced seeds to poor farmers, which officials argued violated the Dominican Republic-Central America Free Trade Agreement by favoring local products over those produced by multinational corporations.

LAPD Use Desperate Females Begging For Rides to Entrap Uber Drivers

Despite not going through the Uber app, she tells you she's in a hurry, asks you to book the ride on your own phone and begs you to drive "across the street" to her friend.

When you comply, all the sudden you're surrounded by a gang of cops who accuse you of acting as a "bandit cab" driver -- someone who takes money under the table for rides, rather than funnel cash through Uber and in turn, the state's taxing authorities -- then you're placed under arrest and your car is impounded.

This is the tactic the LAPD is using to bust unsuspecting Uber drivers on petty statute violations.

Leaked Documents Show FBI, DEA, & Army Can Control Your Computer

Leaked emails from an Italian-based hacking company reveal that government agencies engage in surveillance more invasive than previously thought, spending millions of dollars on spyware and malware software to accomplish their questionable goals. The Problem of Greece Is Not Only a Tragedy. It Is a Lie

An historic betrayal has consumed Greece. FBI Director Comey is a Maniac

Comey, in a brief op-ed appearing on the prominent national security blog Lawfare, said that "there are lots of good things" about universal strong encryption, such as expanded privacy and protection from cybercriminals. But those benefits must be balanced against the potential risks created by making it more difficult for the government to access the digital communications and data of those suspected of wrongdoing, he said...

"I really am not a maniac (or at least my family says so)," Comey said. "But my job is to try to keep people safe. In universal strong encryption, I see something that is with us already and growing every day that will inexorably affect my ability to do that job." – National Journal, July 6, 2015

Webmaster's Commentary:

Comey's ban on strong encryption cannot work against real criminals and terrorists who can easily create their own methods of encryption which the government cannot break. Comey wants to ban YOU, the law-abiding citizen from using strong encryption so that the government can steal your business secrets, go on fishing expeditions for civil forfeiture opportunities or blackmail material, scare you into silence about what is going on, and whack off to naked pictures of your spouses and children!

U.S. Military Makes Monumental Shift To Hollowpoint Pistol Ammunition

The stunning announcement was made at the U.S Army’s Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey yesterday during the military’s two-day “industry day” for the Modular Handgun System (MHS), which will conclude today.

A military lawyer who made a presentation during the Industry Day noted that the United States is not a signatory to the Hague Conventions which outlawed the use of “dum-dum” and expanding bullets more than a century ago. It is the military’s position that the shift to jacketed hollowpoint (JHP) ammunition, which more efficiently transfers energy to the target and which presents much less of a risk of over-penetration, is more humane and less of a risk to innocent civilians downrange in modern combat where there are often no clear front lines.

Webmaster's Commentary:

'One of the largest human experiments in history' was conducted on unsuspecting residents of San Francisco

But one fact many may not know about San Francisco's fog is that in 1950, the US military conducted a test to see whether it could be used to help spread a biological weapon in a "simulated germ-warfare attack." This was just the start of many such tests around the country that would go on in secret for years.

The test was a success, as Rebecca Kreston explains over at Discover Magazine, and "one of the largest human experiments in history."

But, as she writes, it was also "one of the largest offenses of the Nuremberg Code since its inception."

Webmaster's Commentary:

The pathogen used for the test was supposed to be "harmless", only making people sick enough to see a doctor, but in fact there were several deaths!

One Presidential Candidate Just Promised To Wage War In 4 Different Countries

Everywhere Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) looks in the world, he sees a crisis, and believes these combined crises could soon “throw the world into chaos we haven’t seen since WWII.”
In his first major foreign policy speech as a presidential candidate, Graham told a packed room at the Atlantic Council think tank in D.C. what he would do if he became Commander in Chief, a list that tilted heavily to where he would use military force.
Though he rattled off a laundry list of threats to U.S. national security throughout his speech, Graham called the current diplomatic negotiations with Iran “the greatest existential threat to world order” and “North Korea in the making.”
“I don’t mind Iran or any other nation having a nuclear power program for peaceful reasons,” he said. But if the current negotiations produce a deal that doesn’t include the ability for the U.S. to inspect Iran’s nuclear reactors “anytime, anywhere,” Graham would resort to “overwhelming” military force.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have to wonder just how many stocks in defense industries Graham posesses, and how his personal profits will rise if, through some horrible nightmare scenario, he becomes the Republican's candidate for President, and gets elected.

And let's not pretend that we have not seen this before, someone originally considered "unelectable" by many, actually getting elected; remember George W. Bush's "election" (or, appointment, by the Supremes)?!?

Although Graham has served in the military (as a JAG for the Air Force), he personally has never seen combat.

And it strikes me that those candidates who have never been in the middle of a war zone are generally the most bloodthirsty about wanting to declare war on other countries, rather than try to do the adult, civilized thing by negotiation.

Someone Pull The Plug Or This Will End In War

Yes, it’s still entirely possible that Tsipras submitted this last set of proposals knowing full well they won’t be accepted. But he’s already gone way too far in his concessions. This is an exercise in futility.

It’s time to acknowledge this is a road to nowhere. From where I’m sitting, Yanis Varoufakis has been the sole sane voice in this whole 5 month long B-movie. I think Yanis also conceded that it was no use trying to negotiate anything with the troika, and that that’s to a large extent why he left.

Yanis will be badly, badly needed for Greece going forward. They need someone to figure out where to go from here.

Just like Europe needs someone to figure out how to deconstruct Brussels without the use of heavy explosives. Because there are just two options here: either the EU will -more or less- peacefully fall apart, or it will violently blow apart.

Agency’s request for 52,000 rounds of ammo for Hoover Dam prompts inquiry

In a move that’s prompting questions about the stockpiling of weapons by the federal government’s nonmilitary agencies, the Bureau of Reclamation wants to buy 52,000 rounds of ammunition for use in law enforcement at Hoover Dam and Lake Mead.

After learning about the purchase request, Nevada Rep. Mark Amodei vowed to inquire with the bureau about its operations, number of officers carrying firearms and how much ammunition it uses, according Brian Baluta, a spokesman for Amodei.

Department officials declined to provide specific information to the Sun regarding details of the ammunition purchase request. “We want to limit the amount of information any bad guys might have about our protection capabilities,” said Rose Davis, a Bureau of Reclamation spokeswoman.

ENCRYPTION IS AS AMERICAN AS APPLE PIE: THE FOUNDING FATHERS FREQUENTLY USED IT … AND IT HELPED WIN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR

SPYING V. PRIVACY: AN ANCIENT BATTLE

The battle between the NSA, FBI and other government agencies who are pushing to outlaw encryption and those who want privacy is the same battle fought by the Founding Fathers more than 2oo years ago.

After all, the NSA is doing to modern Americans what King George did to Colonial America … which was one of the main reasons the Founders launched the Revolution. And see this.

And Benjamin Franklin was called a traitor (like Edward Snowden) for blowing the whistle on the government’s actions.

ENCRYPTION DURING THE REVOLUTION

While encryption might seem like a new affair, it is actually very old school … and something which the Founding Fathers extensively used.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The current demand for only the encryption that only US government agencies can decipher, is a clear demonstration of a government terrified of its own citizens.

And, as Mike demonstrated, 6 times on this website, none of the alphabet soup agencies in the US were able to decipher the encryption he created.

And please rest assured, the "bad guys" (drug dealers, etc.) already have encryption in place which is pretty bullet proof at this point, and unreachable by Federal authorities.

NEW SWAT DOCUMENTS GIVE SNAPSHOT OF UGLY MILITARIZATION OF U.S. POLICE

Extensive records from SWAT team raids in northeastern Massachusetts released today by the American Civil Liberties Union corroborate what police reform advocates have long insisted: that “Special Weapons And Tactics” units spend a majority of their time responding to low-risk situations that do not require SWAT’s quasi-military approach.

The documents include after-action reports from 79 SWAT operations between August 2012 and June 2014 by the Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council, or NEMLEC, a consortium of police departments covering 925 square miles in Middlesex and Essex Counties outside Boston. According to NEMLEC, its SWAT team exists to respond to “critical incidents,” mainly “active shooters, armed barricaded subjects, hostage takers, and terrorists.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Overkill by police departments has become the new normal, all over this country.

What we have had happen, in terms of American policing, is a return to "Code Napoleon Law", in which the suspect was considered guilty until proven innocent, which is the absolute polar opposite of the "innocent until proven guilty" premise of American jurisprudence.

This kind of policing, many times taught by IDF or ex-IDF members, is about enforcing fear, and causing police to treat innocent Americans just the way the IDF treats innocent Palestinians.

This is absolutely so wrong, that I don't know where to begin.

Democrats Introduce Bill to Ban ‘Husband’ and ‘Wife’ as ‘Anti-Gay’ Words

Fresh off the Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage, Democrats in California have introduced a bill that would ban the words “husband” and “wife” from being used in federal law because they are “gendered terms” and discriminate against gay people.

The words husband and wife were deleted from California state law last year in order to accommodate same sex marriage.

The Lincoln controversy…

As Thomas DiLorenzo and a number of non-court historians have conclusively established, Lincoln did not invade the Confederacy in order to free the slaves. The Emancipation Proclamation did not occur until 1863 when opposition in the North to the war was rising despite Lincoln’s police state measures to silence opponents and newspapers. The Emancipation Proclamation was a war measure issued under Lincoln’s war powers. The proclamation provided for the emancipated slaves to be enrolled in the Union army replenishing its losses. It was also hoped that the proclamation would spread slave revolts in the South while southern white men were away at war and draw soldiers away from the fronts in order to protect their women and children. The intent was to hasten the defeat of the South before political opposition to Lincoln in the North grew stronger.

Federal judge orders cancellation of Washington Redskins trademark

For the first time in a legal battle that has stretched over 20 years, a federal judge on Wednesday ordered the cancellation of the Washington Redskins' trademark registration, ruling that the team name may be disparaging to Native Americans.

The ruling does not bar the team from using the Redskins name if it wishes. The team could even still sue for trademark infringement, but winning such a case could prove more complex without the legal protections that come with a federally registered trademark.

America currently suffers from .01% “leaders” in government, banking/finance, and corporate media who execute literal “Crimes against Humanity” that intentionally murder human beings by the tens of millions each and every year. The .01% choose policies of crimes centering in war and debt (what they fraudulently call “money”) that create conditions for these tens of millions to die gruesomely slow and painful deaths from war and debt-induced poverty, while ignoring their promises to the world over decades to end global poverty with just 0.7% of the developed nations’ income (Americans want to give up to 10%).

Most of the millions of victims are children.

As Nigel explains in the video below, right from the start, the system was never intended to help the Greek people.

Greece entering the euro was great for Goldman Sachs. But terrible for Greeks. It chained the country to a system in which it didn’t belong.

And what about all the bailout money that’s been thrown at Greece in the time since?

None of it actually went to the Greek people. It went to bail out the French, German, and Italian banks who own Greek debt.

While, Mr. Caballero may have ruined the day of a few beach goers by crudely having sex on a public beach in broad daylight, he didn’t run the U.S. economy into the ground and cause destitution to tens of millions of Americans. Nor did he received trillions in taxpayer backstops and bailouts, only to turn around and pay himself a record bonus and then carry on with extremely profitable, illegal financial schemes. Insanity on the Thames

UK Prime Minister David Cameron is a seriously deluded man. First, he apparently believes Facebook and Twitter users currently have "absolute privacy" in their communications. That is nonsense. Second, Cameron believes this nonexistent absolute privacy is unsustainable and intolerable. He wants to destroy it as soon as possible.

This is necessary, Cameron told Parliament, because tolerating such privacy would "leave a safe space" for terrorists to communicate with each other.

Contrary to Mr. Cameron's assurance, Britain certainly is trying to "search through everybody's emails and invade their privacy." The U.S. government is doing the same. This is a well-established fact known to anyone paying attention since Edward Snowden spilled the beans two years ago. For Mr. Cameron to say otherwise – while speaking to the Mother of Parliaments, no less – is a bald-faced lie.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Banning encryption for the law abiding citizens will have no effect on terrorists or criminals because terrorists and criminals can create their own systems of encryption which NSA and CGHQ cannot break. I know, because over at my website we did just that. We created and issued 6 encryption challenges to the NSA, none of which were solved, and the NSA was well-motivated to break those codes to discourage others from creating their own encryption systems. I am not a professional encryption expert and only a moderately decent programmer, and if I can defeat the NSA, so can real terrorists and criminals, and that means that David Cameron is indeed lying. He wants to peek into the private affairs of law-abiding British people.

Members of European Parliament (MEPs) on Wednesday passed a resolution on the pending trade deal between Europe and the United States, backing a controversial provision that critics warn places corporate profits above the health and safety of the people and puts the continent's fragile democracy at great risk.

Despite clear disagreement within European Parliament (EP) over the inclusion of a modified version of the Investor State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) provision, MEPs voted 436-241 in favor of a draft text of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP).

Anti-Austerity Action in The City of London

In the following exclusive video report, we get to see anti-austerity action reaching the belly of the beast in the heart of The City of London.

Activists have managed to get inside of a building and get anti-austerity messages prominently displayed in one of the wealthiest areas of the British capital.

Numerous people have been reported to have committed suicide as a result of the austerity cuts that have taken place in the UK. Meanwhile, others have been killed as an indirect result of the cuts.

Greece just voted to reject austerity measures that would have been forced upon the country by foreign creditors. Let us hope they can begin to turn things around…

Spain Government Goes Full Police State; Enacts Law Forbidding Dissent, 'Unauthorized' Photography Of Law Enforcement

Well, Spain's officially a police state now. On July 1st, its much-protested "gag" law went into effect, instantly making criminals of those protesting the new law. Among the many new repressive stipulations is a €30,000-€600,000 fine for "unauthorized protests," which can be combined for maximum effect with a €600-€300,000 fine for "disrupting public events."

This horrible set of statutes has arisen from Spain's position as a flashpoint for anti-austerity protests, the European precursor to the Occupy Wall Street movement. Fines, fines and more fines await anyone who refuses to treat authority with the respect it's forcibly requiring citizens to show it.

Once upon a time, there was a nation of people who believed everything they were told by their government.

When terrorists attacked the country, and government officials claimed to have been caught by surprise, the people believed them. And when the government passed massive laws aimed at locking down the nation and opening the door to total government surveillance, the people believed it was done merely to keep them safe. The few who disagreed were labeled traitors.

Throughout history, debt and war have been constant partners

There is this idea that the Greeks got themselves into this current mess because they paid themselves too much for doing too little. Well, maybe. But it’s not the complete picture. For the Greeks also got themselves into debt for the oldest reason in the book – one might even argue, for the very reason that public debt itself was first invented – to raise and support an army. The state’s need for quick money to raise an army is how industrial-scale money lending comes into business (in the face of the church’s historic opposition to usury). Indeed, in the west, one might even stretch to say that large-scale public debt began as a way to finance military intervention in the Middle East – ie the crusades. And just as rescuing Jerusalem from the Turks was the justification for massive military spending in the middle ages, so the fear of Turkey has been the reason given for recent Greek spending.

Helmer says she’s “in charge of warmaking in Europe.” Her notorious involvement in Ukraine’s February 2014 coup is well documented.

According to Helmer, she gave Tsipras two ultimatums in Athens last March – surrender to Troika demands and remain allied with US-dominated NATO’s anti Russian agenda.”

Her spokeman Mark Toner said Washington is “focused on, frankly, the opposite (of Sunday’s referendum), which is finding a path forward that allows Greece to continue to make reforms (more austerity), return to growth (by letting Troika bandits rape its economy and population), and remain in the Eurozone.”

FBI and Comey Find New Bogeyman for Anti-Encryption Arguments: ISIS

After months of citing hypothetical crimes as a reason to give law enforcement a magical key to unlock encrypted digital messages, FBI Director James Comey has latched onto a new bogeyman: ISIS.

In a speech he gave in October 2014 as part of his coordinated push to make the case that the FBI is “going dark,” Comey leaned on examples of kidnappers and child abusers who texted details of their violent plots that law enforcement agents weren’t privy to.

But, as The Intercept reported shortly after, those examples were largely bogus and had nothing to do with encryption.

Now, in a preview of his appearance Wednesday before the Senate Intelligence Committee, Comey is playing the ISIS card, saying that it is becoming impossible for the FBI to stop the group’s recruitment and planned attacks. (He uses an alternate acronym, ISIL, for the Islamic State.)

Webmaster's Commentary:

Sure, all we have to do is get ISIS to not write their own encryption software, rely on the government-approved back-doored systems, and all will be just peaches and cream!!!!!!

The New York Times Urges the Troika to "Make an Example of Greece"

It is often the moral and economic blindness of New York Times articles about the EU crisis that is most striking. The newest entry in this field is entitled "Now Europe Must Decide Whether to Make an Example of Greece." That is a chilling phrase most associated in our popular culture with a Consigliere and his Don deciding whether to order a mob "hit." Except that the article is actually another salvo in that war.

Corporate Capitalism [i.e. Fascism] Is the Foundation of Police Brutality and the Prison State

Our national conversation on race and crime is based on a fiction. It is the fiction that the organs of internal security, especially the judiciary and the police, can be adjusted, modernized or professionalized to make possible a post-racial America. We discuss issues of race while ignoring the economic, bureaucratic and political systems of exploitation—all of it legal and built into the ruling apparatus—that are the true engines of racism and white supremacy. No discussion of race is possible without a discussion of capitalism and class. And until that discussion takes place, despite all the proposed reforms to the criminal justice system, the state will continue to murder and imprison poor people of color with impunity.

Quebec Is Getting Ready to Block Websites It Doesn't Like

Since the announcement in April, there has been surprisingly little public commentary about the Quebec plan. Quebec-based Internet providers may have privately raised concerns, but consumer groups have remained largely silent. That needs to change, since Quebec's plan to block access to gambling sites could easily expand to other areas.

Once blocking Internet content is established, it is easy to envision governments moving down a slippery slope, requiring the blocking of sites that are alleged to infringe copyright or blocking e-commerce sites that are not bilingual or do not pay provincial taxes. If that happened, the open Internet in Canada would be placed at risk of unprecedented government intervention into how Internet providers manage their networks and what sites Canadians are able to access.

Obama Admin Changes Federal Aviation Administration Because Too Many White Males Were Passing Their Air Traffic Controller Classes

The Obama administration has abandoned the old system for getting qualified air-traffic controller applicants because too many of them were white males, and replaced it with a new system that asks applicants how many different sports they played when they were in high school.

The Federal Aviation Administration has stopped giving preferential treatment to air-traffic controller applicants who had passed classes from the 36 FAA-approved college aviation programs across the U.S., because too many of the people who passed these classes were white males.

At the same time, the FAA also stopped giving preference to applicants who were military veterans with aviation experience.

Under the new system, applicants were asked how many different high school sports they had participated in.

It’s Here: Oregon First State to Launch “Pay-by-the-Mile” Driving Track and Tax Scheme

The freedom of driving is about to get a lot less free in more ways than one.

“Rare American” David Hastings, Oregon hybrid car owner told Fox News, “I’m a statist who is happy to blindly contribute to the total tyranny that has almost completely surrounding us all and I see no potential downsides to a technological control grid where the government tracks my every move—”

No wait, sorry, it was, “I’ve been free-loading on the highways for 20 years driving electric cars or hybrid cars, getting at least 40 miles to the gallon. So I haven’t been paying my share.”

Mr. Hastings apparently cannot wait to pay more taxes to drive on state roads while being tracked by the government as he drives on those roads. In fact, he has volunteered for this in a state transportation taxing scheme that will eventually be mandatory not just in all of Oregon, but likely the entire country.

Obama Says Freedom Paid for by Members of Military

President Barack Obama thanked members of the military at home and abroad, saying the nation couldn't enjoy the "incredible blessings" in the "greatest country on earth" without their sacrifices and the sacrifices of their families.

"Freedom is not free. It's paid by all the folks who are here today and all the folks who are around the world," Obama told members of the military and military families at an Independence Day celebration on the South Lawn of the White House, after a performance by Bruno Mars.

Obama especially thanked service members who couldn't be with their families because they are stationed overseas. "We want to especially remember them," Obama said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This statement is disingenuous in the extreme.

What true "freedoms" is this President talking about, after the passage of the Homeland Security Act, the Patriot Act, and the NDAA, under which the President, at his command, can have any American arrested and held indefinitely without due process?!?

What "freedoms" can we be certain we have, with 24/7 physical, computer and phone surveillance?!?

What "freedoms" do we have with only two parties to chose from, come Presidential election day, and both presidential candidates have been vetted by the corporations which own them, and those corporations know the candidates THEY have chosen for us to vote on, will deliver?

This a government of the corporations, by the corporations, and for the corporations, not of the people, by the people, and for the people.

And let me make one thing clear: I have the utmost respect for our American military; it is the civilian leadership which puts them into harm's way where there are other ways to resolve a geopolitical issue, that makes me crazy.

And these endless wars and occupations of foreign countries?!? this is not about "protecting the American people", but adding value to the bottom line of numerous American corporations (which own the Presidency and Congress), and protecting what is left of the value of US dollar as the world's reserve currency.

The defense industrial companies and banks make a financial killing during wartime, which is why they love war so much.

And if it is your kid who gets killed or maimed for life...in the eyes of corporate and banking executives, they were just collateral damage and expendable anyway.

NEW EVIDENCE LINKS FLUORIDE TO INCREASING CASES OF ADHD MORE WATER FLUORIDATION = MORE ADHD

The evidence from a new scientific research study shows that children who live in water districts where the water supply is systematically fluoridated suffer with ADHD at a significantly higher rate.

“A multivariate regression analysis showed that after socioeconomic status was controlled each 1 percent increase in artificial fluoridation prevalence in 1992 was associated with approximately 67,000 to 131,000 additional ADHD diagnoses from 2003 to 2011.” [1]

For those who are not initiated in the realm of medical statistics, the number of additional diagnoses cited above is extraordinary by any standard of measurement. This study conclusively demonstrates that fluoride exposure among children and adolescents has significant consequences, primarily because of their formative stage of growth and development.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As reported at consumerhealth.org:

THE ADDITION OF FLUORIDE, A POTENTIALLY TOXIC SUBSTANCE, TO THE PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY IS COMPULSORY MASS MEDICATION. IT VIOLATES ALL ETHICAL PRINCIPLES. Many of the speakers at the Total Health 81 conference referred to the problem we have with our fluoridated drinking water: DR. JAN DE VRIES, Dr. H.Med., Ph.D., D.Ac., D.O., N.D. "I was very shocked that you poor people in Toronto have to drink this water. We have had a tremendous fight in Holland, which we won. This fluoride water is a chemical soft-working tranquilizer. Hitler put fluoride in the water to keep his prisoners quiet, and the same thing happens in other parts of the world. If I put a homeopathic remedy in this water, the remedy is destroyed. If you can work at getting this out of your water in any way at all, I would be very happy." DR. WILLIAM ELLIS, D.O. "The environmental protective agency in the United States has shown that the water in the 90 largest cities in the United States' all cause cancer. It's been proven in U.S. federal court that fluoridation of the inorganic form, which is the end product of aluminum manufacturing, is a cancer causative agent." DR. WILLIAM MORRIS, D.C., N.D. "Fluoride hardens the arteries and it does a lot more damage. It's toxic, but it happens to be a waste product of a very influential type of industry. We don't need the fluoride in our water. It's an infringement on our freedom. That's what Consumer Health is all about. We must make our rights known, and we must fight for it. Air and water are our first two needs, and they are being politically polluted. I think you should get behind Consumer Health and let's put some pressure and lobby to get better air and water." DISEASES CONNECTED WITH FLUORIDE Diseases connected with fluoride ingestion are cancer (of the mouth, esophagus, stomach, large intestine, rectum, kidney, bladder, urinary organs, breast, ovary), goiter, mongolism, kidney disease & osteoporosis. Additional problems are caused by fluoride in anaesthetics, gases and aerosol propellants. Symptoms can appear as long as 20 to 30 years later, as fluoride is so very prone to accumulate, not only in the bones and teeth, but also in the soft tissues of the body. Physiologically, the fluoride ion is an avid bone seeker and a potent enzyme inhibitor according to Dr. Albert Burgstahler, University of Kansas. He states that fluoride depresses growth rate of human cells, causes dermatitis, affects thyroid and heart function, circulation and reproduction, is more potent than cyanide as an inhibitor of respiration, disturbs hormonal balance, and increases the incidence of mongolism by 15%. Upon its accumulation in tissues, fluoride may incorporate itself into naturally occurring compounds to form, for example, fluorouracil, capable of producing cancer or giving rise to deformed babies. Symptoms associated with low-grade fluoride poisoning include excessive thirst, headaches, blurred vision, arthritis, gastrointestinal disturbances and excess urination. These will usually disappear if fluoridated water is replaced by distilled or spring water with a low fluoride level. CANCER AND FLUORIDATION In 1971, Dr. Dean Burke, Ph.D., began a study of the effects of fluoridation in drinking water in the United States. Dr. Burke was for 35 years, head of the cytochemistry section, and was co-founder of the National Cancer Institute, U.S.A. He has received many awards for cancer research and biochemistry, including the Domagh Prize, 1965, for cancer research. He has been involved in cancer research for 50 years. Results of his studies show that a large increase in human cancer mortality in the U.S. is associated with public water fluoridation. "One-tenth of the 350,000 cancer deaths per year in the U.S. are linked with artificial public water fluoridation." (See graph on last page) "We took the ten largest cities that had been fluoridated and compared them with the ten largest cities that had not been fluoridated. The fluoridation didn't start until 1952 to 1956, and has been continued ever since in the fluoridated group. Between 1940 and 1952 these two groups were identical, could not be distinguished on this curve. But from 1952 on, the curves have been continually widening to the point that there's now a difference of approximately 35,000 a year. There's no question about the data or our particular arrangement of it. The data is from government sources, which any high school student can look up and confirm. Nearly all of the fluoridation-linked cancer deaths are found to begin at the age of about 45 and then steadily increase with age. This situation is sharply different from the increased cancer deaths resulting from cigarette smoking, asbestos or hormones given to expectant mothers. Here a lag of 15 to 30 years is common. Increased death rates due to fluoridated water commence within a few years after initiation of fluoridation with marked continued increase thereafter."

Greece: People Repudiate the 1%-ers

The people of Greece have rejected austerity with an emphatic “No” in a referendum. The corporate media reacted predictably. Reuters depicted Greeks as defying Europe.

The language in the Reuters piece was palpably biased. It portrayed Greeks as having “overwhelmingly rejected conditions of a rescue package” [italics added] put together by “creditors” and “lenders.”

Greece’s fight is for democracy in Europe. That’s why we must support it

Martin Schulz, the European parliament’s president and a so-called social democrat, whose attitude towards democracy can be generously described as ambiguous, called for the removal of Greece’s elected government in favour of a technocratic government.

It wasn’t bluster. That’s what the EU and the markets previously pulled off in Greece and, yes, in Italy: however much justifiable distaste exists for Silvio Berlusconi, it should have been his own people who removed him. In Greece itself, the oligarch-owned “free media” acted as a political machine (sound familiar?), pumping out relentless propaganda in favour of capitulating to the creditors’ demands. An alliance between Greece’s economic elite and the EU great powers told the Greek people: however tough your lives have been in the last few years, your world will cave in unless you acquiesce. And still the Greek people voted no – not narrowly, but overwhelmingly.

The Troika Swindle: Greeks Owe Nothing

The establishment media has hidden from view the facts behind the debt and has sided with the banks in declaring the population of Greece deserves austerity and its attendant poverty and misery because of the Greek government’s intransigence and refusal to accept the harsh conditions of the Troika, consisting of the IMF, European Commission and European Central Bank.

Left unsaid is the fact a large portion of the debt totaling about €245 billion was fraudulently dumped on the country in the course of huge bank bailouts in 2010 and 2012.

Euclid Tsakalotos to be appointed new Greek finance minister - media

Euclid Tsakalotos set to be appointed the new Greek finance minister after Yanis Varoufakis resigned, Greek Skai TV reports. Tsakalotos was previously the deputy foreign minister responsible for international economic relations.

Varoufakis leaving the job, and a more composed Tsakalatos taking cover, could mark a thaw in the frosty negotiations between Greece and its creditors. On the sidelines of the talks the former finance minister was often referred to as ‘impossible’ do deal with.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In other words, the new Greek finance minister is more Euro-friendly!

Bankers Plan to Raid Deposits After Greeks "Rise Up Against Debt Bondage"

More austerity and new rounds of loans? Voters in Greece’s emergency referendum were overwhelmingly against it. Whatever happens next, they stood up to the authoritarian tactics of the European Union. Hurrah.

Greeks voted overwhelmingly to reject creditors’ proposal of more austerity measures in return for rescue loans, in the country’s first referendum in 41 years Sunday.

Greece Resoundingly Rejects Austerity In Referendum On Bailout Deal

Greeks on Sunday decisively rejected a bailout deal proposed by the country's international creditors, which demanded new austerity measures in return for emergency funds. The vote amounted to a stinging rebuke of the austerity measures imposed on Greece since 2010.

Wikileaks Exposes How TISA Will Gut Financial Regulations All Over the World

It’s almost impossible to keep anything secret these days – not even the core text of a hyper-secret trade deal, the Trade in Services Agreement (TiSA), which has spent the last two years taking shape behind the hermetically sealed doors of highly secure locations around the world. According to the agreement’s provisional text, the document is supposed to remain confidential and concealed from public view for at least five years after being signed! But now, thanks to WikiLeaks, it has seeped to the surface.

The Card System, Demystified, and Implications for Re-Introducing Drachma

Perhaps the main reason well intentioned laypeople suggest what to them are obvious, simple solutions to implementing either a new drachma in Greece, or some sort of parallel running of both a new drachma and the euro, or a new cryptocurrency which somehow can be like a drachma or even both a euro and a drachma at the same time and so on (there’s been many other ideas proposed) which are nevertheless unfortunately completely impractical in terms of allowing a functional, reliable, robust, high volume payment system is that so much of the financial system’s complexity is transparent to the end user.

The bin Laden death mythology

The White House’s story of how US special forces hunted down and assassinated arch terrorist Osama bin Laden in his secret lair in Pakistan is unraveling.

The official narrative of the bin Laden raid is that for over a decade, US intelligence hunted for the terror chief until a surveillance/torture-enabled breakthrough tracked him to a secret compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan. On 1st May 2011, US Navy Seals entered the compound and assassinated him in a furious firefight.

The operation demonstrated how far the US military intelligence community had come since the days of 9/11, proving how its disparate agencies had now developed a tremendous capacity to share and process often obscure intelligence data, to guide precision covert counter-terror missions.

After killing bin Laden, the al-Qaeda leader was buried at sea. When the raid was officially announced, Pakistan, a key US ally in the fight against al-Qaeda, was incensed at the US operation on its own soil.

Bernie Sanders Blasts Troika for 'Abysmal Failure' of Greek Austerity

Describing the austerity policies that European creditors have imposed on Greece as an "abysmal failure," progressive presidential candidate Bernie Sanders on Wednesday chastised the so-called Troika—the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the European Central Bank (ECB), and the European Commission—for inflicting severe "economic pain and suffering" on the Greek people.

Greece — The One Biggest Lie You Are Being Told By The Media

Every single mainstream media has the following narrative for the economic crisis in Greece: the government spent too much money and went broke; the generous banks gave them money, but Greece still can’t pay the bills because it mismanaged the money that was given. It sounds quite reasonable, right?

Except that it is a big fat lie … not only about Greece, but about other European countries such as Spain, Portugal, Italy and Ireland who are all experiencing various degrees of austerity. It was also the same big, fat lie that was used by banks and corporations to exploit many Latin American, Asian and African countries for many decades.

Greece did not fail on its own. It was made to fail.

Hillary Clinton Campaign Ropes Reporters Behind Line At Parade

Clinton marched in a Fourth of July parade in Gorham, New Hampshire, trailed by a band of supporters waving signs and separated by a long rope from the pack of journalists that followed.

"I'll tell you what — we need to get a Democratic president," Clinton told one woman along the parade route, who asked about the health care overhaul. "I'm going to not only defend it, I'm going to make it even better."

One man who carried a sign that read, "Benghazi" also followed the candidate. Alluding to her time representing New York in the Senate, he screamed repeatedly, "Carpetbagger!"

Another man on the route yelled, "What about Benghazi? What about the emails?"

Clinton smiled broadly, shaking hands and stopping for quick photos. At one point, she posed for a photo with two New Hampshire beauty pageant contestants, who playfully flexed their biceps.

CIVIL ASSET FORFEITURE: GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT

?Imagine going back home one day to find an empty house and all your belongings gone; or even worse, imagine being in your house and having your door suddenly smashed open by law enforcement officers in masks and being told at gunpoint that your personal possessions are being taken away.

It might sound like a trailer for the latest action film, but this is what happened to Annette Shattuck, a mother of four and a registered marijuana caregiver in Michigan. As she recently testified to the Michigan House of Representatives, her house was raided in 2014 while her 56-year old mother was taking care of her children. Everything from food, electronics, and vehicles to birth certificates, cash, and social security, insurance and public assistance cards was taken and has yet to be returned. As if this weren’t enough, she was left penniless due to a $1 million hold on all her bank accounts and has been unable to access the adoption subsidy for her special-needs son.

Hillary Clinton Bombshell: Documents Prove She is Guilty of Multiple Felonies

I am convinced as are others who have looked at this -- and FOX aired this in a special Saturday night and several times over the weekend -- that a conspiracy existed between the president, and Mrs. Clinton, and Congressional leaders from both parties in both Houses others in the State Department, the Treasury Department and the Justice Department to get arms shipped to rebels in Syria and in Libya. And some of those rebels are members of organizations that are on the terror list and providing them with material assistance is a felony. So the arms dealers applied for and received permission from State and Treasury lawfully to sell arms to the government of Qatar and they lawfully did so. Qatar then sold, delivered, bartered or gave these arms to the terrorist organizations with the knowledge and consent of Hillary Rodham Clinton when she was Secretary of State.
