Multiple tornado strikes were reported in Barnstead, Alton and New Durham. The most severe damage occurred in Barnstead, where there were reports of multiple building collapses with individuals trapped along with a fuel tanker overturned and spilling its contents onto Route 126. Reports of individuals trapped in cars by downed live electrical wires also came in from Alton.
