Iran claims US acknowledges its nuclear rights

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad today claimed that US participation in the latest round of talks was recognition of Iran's right to acquire nuclear technology.

And he added that Iran would not "retreat one iota" over its disputed nuclear ambitions.

Webmaster's Commentary: 

Both the United States and Iran (but not Israel) have signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Agreement. Under that agreement Iran does have a legal right to build power stations and to make the fuel rods for them. AND NOBODY HAS FOUND ANY PROOF THAT IRAN IS DOING ANYTHING ELSE.
