What would you do if you were minding your own business in the comfort of your own home and a machete-wielding maniac started kicking in your door?
If you don’t have a firearm you’d likely panic, pick up the phone, and hope that 9-1-1 can get a police officer to your house in the next 15 seconds.
If you are an armed homeowner, however, you’ve not only given yourself a fighting chance, but you have the distinct advantage of being on your own turf and capable of dispatching the threat with near instantaneous results.
Meet Sha Dixon with 'Black Lives Matter L.A.,' who was arrested at LAPD Headquarters last week while trying to deliver a letter to LAPD Chief Charlie Beck. LibertyFight.com is proud to present our exclusive interview with Ms. Dixon, along with a copy of the letter she was trying to deliver.
Interpol Secretary General Ronald Noble said today the U.S. and the rest of the democratic world is at a security crossroads in the wake of last month’s deadly al-Shabab attack at a shopping mall in Nairobi, Kenya – and suggested an answer could be in arming civilians.
Maybe Americans are smarter than we thought. If recent gun law polls are any indication, the Jewish public relations blitz by Israeli-firsters in Congress and Zionist shills in the mainstream media has not convinced the American people that they need to be prevented from owning guns.
Add in the growing skepticism of all these suspicious violent episodes sprouting up all over the world — specifically Paris and Sydney — that are turning out to be false flag facsimiles of terror events, and you have a clear trend that people prefer having their own guns rather than relying on untrustworthy cops and being restricted by increasingly intrusive gun control laws.
People are beginning to remember that private gun ownership is the one thing that assures their government won't abuse them.
On January 13th, the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) telecast the FRONTLINE documentary, “Putin’s Way,” which purported to be a biography of Russia’s President, Vladimir Putin.
The press release about this film states:
Drawing on firsthand accounts from exiled Russian business tycoons, writers and politicians, as well as the exhaustive research of scholar and best-selling Putin’s Kleptocracy author Karen Dawisha, the film examines troubling episodes in Putin’s past, from alleged money-laundering activities and ties to organized crime, to a secret personal fortune said to be in the billions. … These accounts portray a Russian leader who began by professing hope and democracy but now is stoking nationalism, conflict and authoritarianism.

One of Europe’s most prominent Jewish organizations is petitioning the European Union to pass new legislation that would permit Jewish community members to carry guns “for the essential protection of their communities,” according to a letter obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
In theory I agree with the idea of everyone carrying guns as a protection from terrorists (including the ones created by government). My opposition to this particular plan is that this Rabbi wants only Jews to be allowed to carry guns. That is inherently racist.
Let no one accuse the National Rifle Association of being slow on the draw: It is suing Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Lancaster, just days after a new state law allowed it to challenge local gun ordinances in court.
I guess my overarching point is that there will always be evil in the world. There will be people who believe they are righteously killing in the name of their religion. There will be people who are crazy, there will be gangs, there will be drug addicts, and there will be rapists and pedophiles, serial killers and burglars. Let’s deal with all of them first and maybe we can talk about guns then. If you can’t get rid of evil, I don’t want you getting rid of my right to defend myself from it.
Colorado’s 70th General Assembly convened Wednesday and saw Republicans launch efforts to repeal two measures passed by Democrats in 2013 requiring background checks for guns sold online and banning high-capacity magazines.
Barely a week after taking effect, a novel state law that makes it easier for gun-rights groups to challenge local firearms measures in court is already sparking change: Nearly two dozen Pennsylvania municipalities have agreed to get rid of their potentially problematic ordinances rather than face litigation.
In light of the attacks in Paris, it’s hard to be a Muslim and be able to grieve for the victims of the Charlie Hebdo shooting before the global focus is shifted once again onto how you are to blame because the perpetrators who did this did it in the name of your religion.
Congressman Ron Paul has written an extensive and outstanding review of the root causes of the problems plaguing our society, as well as his proposed solutions. In my opinion it is one of the best columns he has ever written, rivaling his classic "We've been Neo-Conned.'
I asked, but they haven't a clue as to what he looks like, only that he had a pulled over-head hoodie. More pictures and interview with Deputy Sheriff Gates to follow.
No clue as to whether it was a handgun or a rifle.
No notation as to the general size of the suspect, thin, fat, medium, tall, short....
No notation as to whether he had an accent or anything.....?
Note: The rifle pictured is reportedly NOT the suspect weapon. No injuries are reported, and some of the children at other area schools are on lockdown as they received notification of the event after students had arrived.
The total lockdown was a joint decision by the district and area law enforcement. Any other incidents in the future will be handed on a case-by-case basis.
Do some deep-diving on this one, folks.....
And when you're done with this you better check out the election theft in the banking capitol of the Country:
The company, which is here at CES Showstoppers, has just announced ShotView, an iOS and Google Play app that lets a hunter stream video from his or her gun to anyone in the world. And the press release is very clear about its place in the tech world:
I have read ATF Rul. 2015-1 which was intended to clarify your position on several issues. I would like to thank you for your indirect admission that a firearm receiver is not a “receiver”, as defined by the GCA of 1968, until it can house all of the necessary parts that it is intended to house. I know this was not your intent. However, your words are very clear.
For Constitutionalists and 2nd Amendment advocates, 3-D Printing just got really interesting.
Next week, on January 13th, Come and Take it Texas (CATI), one of the biggest and most forward-thinking guns rights advocates in the US, will be conducting a 2nd Amendment public demonstration the footsteps of the Austin, Texas Capitol building, showcasing the Ghost Gunner CNC machine.
The Ghost Gunner machine is a non-profit open source hardware effort developed by Defense Distributed, the company behind the world’s first 3D Printed Gun named, the ‘Liberator Pistol’ and brainchild of Texas-based entrepreneur, Cody Wilson.
It only took two days before the anti-gun American bureaucracy began chipping away at the Second Amendment in areas where Congress and the President, despite being backed by billion dollar NGOs and Foundations, have so far been unsuccessful.
On January 2, 2015, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE) issued its ruling regarding “whether Federal Firearms Licensees (FFL), or unlicensed machine shops, may engage in the business of completing, or assisting in the completion of, the manufacture of firearm frames or receivers for unlicensed individuals without being licensed as a manufacturer of firearms.”
The ruling that was made in order to address the issue that ATF Ruling 2015-1 has called into question - whether or not the ability of American citizens to produce their own weapons, pass them down, and modify those weapons in specific capacities will remain a viable option...
The truth is the police were targeting the area not because of illegal activity, but because of constitutionally protected legal activity. Yes, you heard that right. Alexandria felt that citizens legally going about their business were such an affront to the “good order” of Alexandria that they needed to go door to door to warn businesses about these people that dared to openly carry a firearm.
Touching on issues from guns to the 10th Amendment, state lawmakers are calling on the federal government to do everything from repaying the costs Texas incurred for dealing with people illegally in the country to abolishing the income tax system.
In 2012, A 50 year old white man named Mark Slavin was pulled out of his vehicle by two black men and bashed in the head with a hammer 13 times in Florida. This occurred a short distance from where Trayvon Martin was killed by George Zimmerman, only a month prior. Slavin reportedly died two years later. But his assailants, Julius Bender and Yahaziel Israel, were never charged with murder and were never even charged with a hate crime. The victim's father went to the FBI for help and they told him to get a lawyer. The father also contacted two congressmen and s senator: Congressman Walter Jones, R-N.C.; Sen. Richard Burr, R-N.C.; and Sen. Kay Hagan, D-N.C., but they ignored him. No major media outlets have reported on this story. Here is the tragic story of Mark Slavin- that you have never heard. Because #MarkSlavinMatters.
A year ago this New Year’s Eve, John Filippidis of Florida was driving south with his family on Interstate 95 when the Maryland Transportation Authority Police pulled over his black Ford Expedition and proceeded to raid it while his twins, wife and daughter looked on — separated in the back seats of different police cruisers.
The officers were searching for Mr. Filippidis‘ Florida-licensed, palm-size Kel-Tec .38 semi-automatic handgun, which he left at home locked in his safe. (Maryland does not recognize handgun permits issued by other states.)
It is what was widely suspected by cynical critics of the Federal government such as the writers of this blog, but now we have official confirmation that the Obama administration was using Operation Fast and Furious as an excuse to advocate for stricter gun control measures, even as the program funneled thousands of rifles to Mexican drug cartels.
Dyke says he understands the ad may offend people who didn’t grow up around guns, but stands firm in his decision.
“We’ve had some people that called in and basically demanded that we take it down, or highly suggested we take it down, but as far as we’re concerned we’ll take it down when we intended to take it down after the holiday season,” Dyke said in a phone interview with Infowars.
Emblematic of Obama’s entire second term, really. After the Sandy Hook shootings in December 2012, he made gun control his top policy priority to start his second term. Public support for action spiked in the emotional aftermath of the murders; the White House, mindful of Rahm Emanuel’s advice to never let a crisis go to waste, demanded that Congress act quickly to address gun violence, knowing that public opinion would soon revert to the pre-Newtown status quo as that emotion faded.
New York state law prohibits retailers from selling guns in realistic colors unless it has one-inch-wide orange stripe running down both sides of the barrel and the front end of the barrel that cannot be removed.
Fed up with the passage of an 18½-page incoherent, rambling, unconstitutional gun control initiative that was bankrolled by billionaires, gun owners across Washington state held the largest felony civil disobedience rally in the nation’s history, brazenly titled “I Will Not Comply.” No one was hurt and no stores were looted. Between 1,000 and 3,000 lawful gun owners showed up openly armed at the state capitol in Olympia, Wash., on Saturday to defy the newly passed gun control law, I-594.
On the second anniversary of the Sandy Hook school shooting, a poll run by the government-funded Public Broadcasting Service found efforts led by gun control groups have ultimately failed to convince the American public to surrender their Second Amendment rights.
After buttering up readers with statistics cited by Conn. Gov. Dan Malloy, which claim that “there were 32 percent fewer murders in 2013 than in 2011” in the state due to newly-imposed gun control laws, PBS gives a run down of several of the restrictions that went into effect almost immediately following the shooting, one of which is a blanket no-purchase regulation on people labeled “mentally ill” by health professionals.
In an amendment to its tough gun control laws, the Russian government eases restrictions, allowing citizens to carry licensed weapons for the purposes of ‘self-defense.’
Until now Russian gun enthusiasts were only permitted to carry firearms for hunting or target shooting after obtaining a license through the Interior Ministry. Russian gun licenses are to be renewed every five years, and applicants face strict background checks and are required to take gun safety courses.
The addendum to the law now lists self-defense as a legally acceptable reason for carrying a weapon.
We're not waiting for politicians, judges or lawyers. Our birthright is NOT to be touched. We call on our Sheriffs, local representatives and legislators to stand with us and uphold their oaths.
The Constitution is the supreme law and our God given rights are NOT open for negotiation. We choose to uphold the law as peacefully and principled as possible, but it will be upheld.
We will buy and sell guns from whom we please, we will not submit to background checks, we will not give up our rights, WE WILL NOT Comply.
We will rally at the capital, openly exchange guns, unveil and plan to break apart the legislation and violate i594 in every possible way. Because ALL law that violates the Constitution is not law, it is VOID!
This is being organized by the Gavin Seim for Liberty and Anthony Bosworth For Sheriff and many great volunteers from across the State. Please show up.
Gun-rights supporters are now a majority among Americans, according to a Pew Research Center survey released Wednesday that marks a stunning turnaround from two years ago, when the Newtown school shooting had appeared to give gun control advocates the upper hand in the public debate.
It’s the highest approval rate in two decades, Pew said, and it’s driven by changing attitudes across nearly all demographic lines, including among black Americans who are increasingly likely to view guns as good for protection, rather than as a public safety danger.
Legal gun owners in New York State deemed mentally unfit by health professionals are unknowingly being added to a state database for probable future gun confiscation.
As part of provisions listed in the state’s draconian SAFE Act, New York’s Division of Criminal Justice Services has found 278 gun owners whom physicians and other “mental health professionals” have identified as mentally unstable, according to a FOIA request submitted by the Syracuse Post-Standard.
Gun owners can be identified by physicians, psychologists, registered nurses or licensed clinical social workers as unfit without their knowledge, as the law does not require health professionals to inform a patient or ask their permission before reporting them to the state.
Shoppers participating in the post-Thanksgiving consumerist phenomenon known as Black Friday typically tend to purchase useless material possessions they don’t really need.
This past holiday, however, many Americans demonstrated that they’re more interested in their Second Amendment rights than flat screen TVs or cheap DVDs.
According to the FBI, last Friday saw a staggering 175,000 background checks processed via the agency’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System, a number the agency says made Friday the second highest gun purchase day ever.
A museum in Washington state plans to remove about a dozen borrowed firearms from a World War II exhibit and return them to their owners to comply with a new gun law that requires background checks for all gun transfers, the institution said on Wednesday.
Israel is to ease controls on carrying weapons for self-defence after a deadly Palestinian attack on a Jerusalem synagogue, Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch said on Tuesday.
"In the coming hours, I will ease restrictions on carrying weapons," he said in remarks broadcast on public radio, indicating it would apply to anyone with a licence to carry a gun, such as private security guards and off-duty army officers.
Funny! In the US, every time there is an attack the government INCREASES restrictions on personal weapons!
As we continue to observe the sweeping gun control movement moving from state to state, Oregon’s re-elected governor says one of his big bold moves will be to follow Washington State in an effort to increase gun-control measures.
This is the website of today's radio show guest where law-abiding Americans can purchase 80% kits for various weapons including the AR-15 and finish them in their own home, all perfectly legal under Federal Law (although check your state laws regarding kit guns first).
The news out of the United Kingdom almost reads like a satire piece from The Onion. But as strange as it may sound to people around the world, and especially in the United States, the British police push to ban knives is no joke.
The new “Save a Life – Surrender Your Knife” program is in full swing and police are telling us that they have joined forces with an already growing trend in the United Kingdom to ban “pointy” knives.
One of the things that Captain Bly did to the crew of the Bounty was to break off the tips of their work knives. Together with other oppressions this led to the mutiny. The UK government must really be getting scared of their own people to go over the top like this. Will they demand all cooking knives and tableware be plastic only?
Keep in mind that the British government has already admitted that their ban on guns did not actually make the British subjects safer, but is maintained because the people "believe" they are safer. The same will be true of this knife ban. The law-abiding will be disarmed, knives (and guns) will be available to the criminals, and crime will increase. Whose side is the government on? From here it looks like they want to protect the criminals.
Look at all the pointy bits on THAT one! Better ban it!
The National Rifle Association issued a stark warning that a U.N. Arms Trade treaty set to take effect on Christmas Eve could lead to a U.S. crackdown on Second Amendment rights — not via a Senate ratification, but rather an “end-run around Congress,” a spokesperson said.
“We are worried about an end-run around Congress,” NRA spokeswoman Catherine Mortensen told The Blaze. “Barack Obama or a future anti-gun president could use ATT and international norms compliance to rationalize enacting gun control politics through executive actions, especially in the import and export realms.”
Under a “longstanding, but rarely enforced state law,” police in New York are permitted to confiscate firearms of legal gun owners within days of their deaths, Fox News reports. Pro-gun advocates are fuming now that police in Buffalo plan to enforce the law.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives issued a 14-point clarification on what does and what does not make an 80 percent lower receiver, and reminds people that they’re legal to buy.
The ATF’s clarification re-states its position on 80 percent lowers, highlighting the fact that any blank must not be pre-drilled, cast or dimpled to aid in manufacturing.
The “Receiver Blanks Q&A’s” maintains that it is legal to sell 80 percent lowers and machine them into firearms and explains “there are no federal restrictions on an individual making a firearm for personal use, as long as it does not violate the GCA or National Firearms Act.”
On Monday's radio show, our third hour guest will be James Grey, the CFO of guns80.com, which sells 80% receivers and kits that allow anyone with machining experience to construct their own AR-15 for private use. We will go into detail the exact nature of the laws that allow you do do this.
As the city of Ferguson, Mo., awaits a decision on whether a grand jury will indict Officer Darren Wilson in the shooting of an unarmed black man this summer — which could come in days — sales of guns int he area of flying off the shelves.
When Darren is not indicted, there will be riots, and the blood in the streets will be seized on by the gun grabbers to push to outlaw all guns.
After returning home from Cabela's and checking on Facebook and the blog, I could not believe what was happening. Within a short amount of time nearly 400,000 people viewed the post on the Saturdays events, 940 had commented (99.9% in support for my family), and over 6100 shares (who knows how many viewed it from there). The Feds must have got the message also.
On"Sunday" (within 24 hours) Cabela's called me and said that they were contacted by the FBI and that I was free to buy a gun. According to the FBI fact sheet, back ground checks with a Delay status are assigned to a agent and are not processed on weekends or holidays.
Though other attempts to restrict guns at the federal level have failed during the Obama Administration, several states – including Connecticut – have successfully passed them – notably with the help of some very deep pockets and headline-grabbing media events.
Guns are used 2.5 million times a year in self-defense. Law-abiding citizens use guns to defend themselves against criminals as many as 2.5 million times every year—or about 6,850 times a day.(1) This means that each year, firearms are used more than 80 times more often to protect the lives of honest citizens than to take lives.(2)
Even anti-gun Clinton researchers concede that guns are used 1.5 million times annually for self-defense. According to the Clinton Justice Department, there are as many as 1.5 million cases of self-defense with a firearm every year. The National Institute of Justice published this figure in 1997 as part of "Guns in America"—a study which was authored by noted anti-gun criminologists Philip Cook and Jens Ludwig.(3)
"But you don't NEED guns. You have the police to protect you!" -- Official White Horse Souse
According to Senator Tom Coburn's 2014 Wastebook on wasteful federal spending, the Department of Defense is set to spend $1 billion destroying $16 billion worth of ammo that it no longer intends to use.
Missouri state Senator Jamilah Nasheed, a Democrat who has sponsored several “anti-gun” bills in her state, was arrested Monday night during a protest outside of the Ferguson Police Department. However, it’s what police officers found on her that is raising eyebrows.
A grandfather shot back and is believed to have killed a suspect in a home-invasion and attempted rape of his teen granddaughter on Monday night, Robeson County Sheriff's officials said.
The grandfather was also shot – but he also managed to shoot the 2 other suspects in the home-invasion and attempted rape, said Maj. Anthony Thompson with the Robeson County Sheriff's Office.
The incident started around 10 pm at a house on Yedda Road in Lumberton on Monday night when someone knocked on the home of the grandfather, his wife and their 19-year-old granddaughter, according to the sheriff's office.
I guess the three crooks thought they could get away with this because the police are busy writing tickets, harassing protesters, shooting dogs, and raiding Ocra gardens!
Gun-control liberals have chosen an odd time to be foisting their misguided agenda on the American public. Consider the following facts about life in America. Felonious incidents such as assault and battery, car-napping, murder, abductions, robberies, school shootings, workplace violence, road rage, and home invasions are occurring at unprecedented levels. In fact, crime is up in most categories, except, that is, in communities where law-abiding citizens have legally armed themselves. In an Oklahoma company one employee was beheaded by a discontented Muslim extremist, but the lives of other employees were saved because a manager in the company was armed and took quick action. Although the mainstream media does much to cover up incidents in which lives are saved by armed Americans, this kind of thing happens all the time, and Americans know it. Consequently, citizens of all stripes—men and women, Democrats and Republicans—are arming themselves.
The Dearborn Heights District 7 Board of Education chose a less severe punishment for the honor student who was initially expelled after a pocketknife was found in her purse at a football game.
On Monday, after two hours of deliberation, the board voted 6-0 to allow Atiya Haynes to take online classes. She then will be able to graduate with her class in 2015.
The decision still came as a blow to college-bound Haynes, who participated in numerous extracurricular activities including sports.
School officials discovered the knife as she was exiting a bathroom at the game when they searched her purse.
Haynes says the pocketknife was a gift from her grandfather who gave it to her for protection because her summer job required her to ride her bike from southwest Detroit to Dearborn.
So the "educators" are going to wreck this kid's life over a self-defense weapon? Was she a hardened criminal with a record of violent behavior? On what grounds did they presume to search her purse?
I would like to remind everyone that the Second Amendment reads "The right to keep and bear arms." It does NOT say "The right to keep and bear firearms." The Second Amendment reserves the right to the American people to keep and bear not only guns, but knives, swords, spears, or anything else. The United States Supreme Court ruled in United States versus Miller that the Second Amendment specifically refers to arms as carried by the uniformed military, and the uniformed military do carry knives!
While the FBI study discusses “mass shootings or killings,” its graphs were filled with cases that had nothing to do with mass killings. Of the 160 cases it counted, 32 involved a gun being fired without anyone being killed. Another 35 cases involved a single murder.
The US does allow for creating a firearm from parts or kits, according to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), which states: “[An] unlicensed individual may make a 'firearm' as defined in the GCA for his own personal use, but not for sale or distribution.”
As a way to get around that law, manufacturers can make a semi-finished lower receiver that “isn’t technically a gun, but gets as close to the line as possible,” Ars Technica reported. The metal piece is usually 80 percent finished, and can be purchased from a variety of companies. The Ghost Gunner machine will finish the lower receiver, and then customers can purchase the rest of the AR-15 parts online, without being subjected to waiting periods or background checks.
Exercising the state's open-carry laws on firearms, Ohio residents brought their guns to a Walmart store to protest the officer-involved fatal shooting of African-American shopper John Crawford.
About 40 people rallied on Saturday in front of the Beavercreek Walmart to demonstrate against the death of Crawford, 22, who was shot to death by police inside the store on August 5.
Members of the Ohio Open Carry group carried signs which read, “I am John Crawford” and “Serve and Protect, Not Serve and Kill.” They came to show solidarity with the Crawford family, and to protest the policies of the police department.
With ‘ruthless efficiency’, Anxiang Du repeatedly stabbed university lecturer Jifeng ‘Jeff’ Ding, 46, and his wife Helen, 47, in their kitchen, before moving upstairs where daughters Nancy, 18, and Alice, 12, were cowering in a bedroom.
What a shame that family was not allowed to own a personal protection firearm!
Americans took this country by revolution. And we beat the Brits by becoming guerrilla fighters against ordered ranks of Redcoats.
With congress coming down on gun control, spinning every shooting incident toward anti-gun legislation, the revolutionaries of today have become smarter with new 3-D printers making guns.
You can buy a $1,200 computer controlled milling machine that can create untraceable gun parts.
I’m just passing this information on in the light of the new Gutenberg / Internet Revolution that we MUST win!
The National Rifle Association has struck back at former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, dinging him as the “ultimate hypocrite” for lobbying against Second Amendment rights for average Americans while maintaining his own personal armed security force.
“Submachine guns, .40 Cal. S&W, ambidextrous safety, semi-automatic or 2 shot bur[s]t trigger group, Tritium night sights for front and rear, rails for attachment of flashlight (front under fore grip) and scope (top rear), stock-collapsib[l]e or folding, magazine - 30 rd. capacity.”
Wow! I guess those Roundup-resistant superweeds are getting to be a real problem!!!
A homegrown Islamist's beheading of an Oklahoma woman and his stabbing of a second female victim on Thursday followed by his being shot down by the victims' boss with his concealed gun is prima facie evidence that Americans need and should have unfettered access to personal firearms in order to defend themselves and others from Muslim terrorists and common thugs who prey on the defenseless, a gun rights expert and advisor to major police organizations told the Examiner on Friday.
On Friday, police reported that two women were brutally attacked in Oklahoma City on Thursday at their workplace. One of those women died, her head severed from her body in the gruesome assault. The other woman survived, her attacker having been stopped by a citizen carrying a concealed handgun. Without the weapon, Traci Johnson might be laying in the morgue instead of recovering at the same hospital where her attacker is being treated today.
SOUTH Australia needs a blanket ban on gun ownership in metropolitan areas to save lives and improve public safety, a respected senior SA judge has declared.
In a move that will ignite debate on gun laws, Supreme Court Justice Michael David said the issue of “gun availability’’ had been a recurring theme in a significant number of cases he had presided over during his 18 years on the District and Supreme Court benches.
He believes removing them from the community would prevent a significant number of domestic shootings.
“My view is I think our guns laws are pretty tight, they are not too bad. But my view on guns is not confined to that,’’ he said.
“In my view, and it is a fairly utopian view, I can’t see why anyone in this city should own a gun. I think a gun with a licence is just as dangerous as a gun without a licence.
Former New York Mayor MichaelR. Bloomberg’s gun control group announced a round of candidate endorsements this week, but his plan to pour $50 million into gun control efforts appears to be struggling to find campaigns to back in nationally watched races.
A United Nations agency is proposing a ban on lead ammunition worldwide, which would serve as backdoor gun control by making ammo prohibitively expensive.
The United Nations Convention on Migratory Species, operating under the U.N. Environment Programme, is meeting in Quito, Ecuador on Nov. 4-9 to discuss and act on the lead ban recommended by a scientific council.
Reference material for the conference suggests that “voluntary approaches to restricting use of lead ammunition” do not work on a national level and for a proposed ban to work, a “range of societal issues” would need to be addressed, including “philosophical issues regarding gun rights and increased government oversight of shooting.”
They must be REALLY scared of the people right now!
On September 8 NBC's Today show aired a segment on how to survive a home invasion. That advice included cooperating with the invaders -- "treat them like royalty" -- and telling them the location of everything they want in the house.
Attention thieves, murderers, and rapists. Feel free to enter the home of the executives over at NBC, as you will clearly have an easy time with them. Meanwhile, be aware that if you enter my house, you will be treated like royalty, such as Charles I, Louise XVI, Tsar Nicholas II, Ludwig III, just to name a few.
The Obama administration quietly has been forcing new gun buyers to declare their race and ethnicity, a policy change that critics say provides little law enforcement value while creating the risk of privacy intrusions and racial profiling.
Early last year, as Americans feared that the federal government would enact unconstitutional anti-gun measures via executive edict, support for the Constitution came from some unlikely places. Even in Oregon, a Democrat stronghold in elections, Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller flat-out declared that he and his office would refuse to enforce any such unconstitutional federal laws or regulations.
“We are Americans. We must not allow, nor shall we tolerate, the actions of criminals, no matter how heinous the crimes, to prompt politicians to enact laws that will infringe upon the liberties of responsible citizens who have broken no laws.”
“We really don’t know what happened,” says Sam Scarbado, the man who purportedly runs the shooting range. That makes no sense. The man shows not emotion, ‘acting’ entirely matter of fact. Bibb Wearing a NYPD shirt in one interview, he is joined in the hoax by a girl from New York. It stinks like a Michael Bloomberg gun control hoax. Too, the UZI is an Israeli weapon. It cannot be a coincidence, since it is the Zionists who are behind the international gun control hoax.
A look at the scene raises great suspicion of the hoax. There is no crime scene. There is no evidence of the spillage of blood on site. There are no images of emergency care there. Instead, all that is seen is talking heads.
Whether you agree with the wars or not (and I do NOT), we owe a debt of honor for those who put on the uniform to take care of them if they return from duty with crippling injuries. We demand that the US government, which claims to represent We The People, fulfill that debt before sending a single penny of our tax dollars to any foreign government.
California’s 10-day waiting period for gun purchases was ruled unconstitutional by a federal judge this morning in a significant victory for Second Amendment civil rights. The laws were challenged by California gun owners Jeffrey Silvester and Brandon Combs, as well as two gun rights groups, The Calguns Foundation and Second Amendment Foundation.
The crazies at Moms Demand Action, one of Bloomberg’s many anti-gun groups, are trying to force the massive chain Kroger to ban guns in all 2500 of their stores. The group says they are targeting this specific grocery storebecause they say there have been 12 shootings on Kroger’s property over the past 4 years.
Kroger basically told them to shove it. As far as I’m concerned, this is the best answer Kroger can give in a situation like this.
The value of private-sector weapons and related training delivered to Mexico during the first 10 months of President Enrique Peña Nieto’s presidency tallied $78.4 million and was on par with similar defense-article shipments during two of the last three years of Felipe Calderón’s presidency.
Monticello, New York, Democratic Mayor Gordon Jenkins—a member of Michael Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal Guns—was arrested Thursday on bribery charges, the latest in a long string of legal and ethical foibles by Jenkins.
Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke Jr., a pro-gun lawmaker who won his Democratic primary despite the $150,000 that Michael Bloomberg tossed in the race to defeat him, said the former New York City mayor “made a huge miscalculation.”
“He didn’t understand the political climate on the ground here in Milwaukee County,” Sheriff Clarke said, during a “Fox & Friends” interview about his victory in the face of the Mayors Against Illegal Guns co-creator who tried to unseat him. “I have a lot of support for my position on support for the Second Amendment, for people to be able to defend themselves and the pro-gun movement.”
This week’s death of former White House press secretary James Brady, who survived a gunshot wound to the head in a 1981 assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan, has been ruled a homicide by a medical examiner, District of Columbia police said Friday.
President Obama and his cronies in Congress have been doing their best to force gun control measures into law, politicizing every shooting that comes along to help get public support for trampling the Constitution.
Even though the nation just witnessed a perfect example of how guns save lives in Pennsylvania, Senate Democrats are gearing up for another push to restrict 2nd Amendment rights.
It’s an amazing thing, really, especially considering that several D and F-rated Democrats are in tough reelection fights this fall. We are talking about Senators Mark Begich (D-AK), Mark Pryor (D-AR), Mark Udall (D-CO), Mary Landrieu (D-LA), Al Franken (D-MN) and Mark Warner (D-VA).
So, what would you think Senate Democrats on the Judiciary Committee are working on in order to aid their campaigns?
A federal judge on Tuesday granted a 90-day stay in a ruling that upended the District’s ban on carrying handguns in public.
The order issued by U.S. District Court Judge Frederick Scullin brings a temporary reprieve to D.C. officials, who were sent scurrying over the weekend to interpret the effects of the ruling that gutted the city’s restrictive gun laws.
An order issued Saturday by the judge struck down the city’s ban on the carrying of guns in public as unconstitutional. While still struggling to comprehend the scope of the order, D.C. police ordered officers to stop arresting people for carrying legally registered guns on city streets.
The congresscritters are terrified even of the people in their own city!
There are two stories that have come to light recently, the first is the awarding of a contract to a munitions manufacturer for 450,000,000 hollow point rounds for the .40 caliber.
The second story which I wrote is how the Department of Homeland Security had already ordered 200,000,000 rounds of .40 caliber, but also ordered 15,000 gun cleaning kits for the .40 caliber weapons, and has put a request out for a virtual shooting gallery for the .40 caliber handguns.
650,000,000 round of ammunition is quite a bit of lead and brass. It will sure to drive the price of copper and brass way up. But Homeland Security is not alone in their requests.
