Want to Reform the NSA? Give Edward Snowden Immunity

In 1970, Christopher Pyle disclosed in public writing that the U.S. Army was running a domestic intelligence program aimed at anti-war and civil-rights activists. His disclosure began a series of public-accountability leaks, the most famous of which was Daniel Ellsberg's leak of the Pentagon Papers. These disclosures, the FBI's notorious abuses in COINTELPRO, and the Watergate leaks taught Americans that the national-security system can take profoundly dangerous constitutional turns. They formed the foundation of the political will that led to the passage of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act in 1978. And although Ellsberg and his collaborator Anthony Russo were prosecuted, their cases were dismissed.

Innocent Staunton motorist caught in seizure net

The traffic stop on that balmy afternoon in August 2012 was the beginning of a dizzying encounter that would leave Stuart shaken and wondering whether he had been singled out because he was black and had a police record.

Over the next two hours, he would be detained without charges, handcuffed and taken to a nearby police station. He also would be stripped of $17,550 in cash — money that he had earned through Smoking Roosters, a small barbecue restaurant he owned in Staunton, Va. Stuart said he was going to use the money that night for supplies and equipment.

The reason for the police stop: Stuart's SUV had tinted windows and a video was playing in his sightline. He was never charged with a crime, and there was no evidence of criminal wrongdoing. But police took his money because they assumed it was related to the drug trade.

RADIO DAYS AND ISIS

The movie took me back to my younger years when we were glued to the radio on Sunday nights to listen to The Shadow.

It was meant to be fiction, but it made me realise that those very same forces of evil are at work today …. for real.

Guess who's coming to dinner? The Coucil on Foreign Relations

President Obama hosted "a private dinner with a group of foreign policy experts," the White House announced last night. Among them: Sandy Berger, who was caught stealing and destroying classified documents that related to President Clinton's record on terrorism issues.

"Former National Security Adviser Sandy Berger was sentenced Thursday to community service and probation and fined $50,000 for illegally removing highly classified documents from the National Archives and intentionally destroying some of them," CNN reported in 2005.

"Berger must perform 100 hours of community service and pay the fine as well as $6,905 for the administrative costs of his two-year probation, a district court judge ruled."

Ronald A. Cass, in 2007, noted that Berger took extraordinary steps to cover up his crime:

Webmaster's Commentary:

This little confab makes me extraordinarily nervous about what this Administration has planned to "sell" the American people on the coming war against ISIS.

I, for one, am not buying.

And this constant, verbal, IV "drip" of Obama's assurance that there will be "no US troops in the ground" in Iraq is rather sickening my stomach, rather than having the desired effect, and here is why.

The President, Congress, State Department, and Pentagon should have learned, after the debacle which was the Vietnam War, that you cannot win what is essentially a ground war from the air.

And I would like to politely suggest that one of the classic definitions of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, in precisely the same way, yet expecting a different outcome.

So I have to wonder two things: is the alleged "war" against Isis a cover for going back into Iraq, and ultimately Syria?!? The short answer is, absolutely yes.

Are we going to see this alleged "strategy" of "no US boots on the ground" escalate, and fast, to not only having a substantial number of US military boots on the ground but reinstituting a draft?!?

Were I a betting woman, I would not bet against those last two scenarios.

Five Eyes spy pact: Transparency challenge lodged at European rights court

The cross-border ‘Five Eyes’ agreement that authorizes the sharing of intelligence between Britain, America, Australia, Canada and New Zealand should be made transparent, according to an appeal launched at the European Court of Human Rights.

The secret Five Eyes spy pact allegedly outlines UK security services’ collaboration with the National Security Agency (NSA) and other foreign intelligence agencies. In an effort to shed light on the agreement, Privacy International (PI) issued a legal challenge against the British government in the Strasbourg-based court. The application was filed by UK law firm Leigh Day & Co Solicitors.

Anti-Maidan activists blast Yabloko party over US-funded protests

Representatives of the recently-founded anti-Maidan council claim that the veteran pro-democracy party has received millions from the US and plans to overthrow the Russian government with the help of Ukrainian and Georgian spin doctors.

The head of the Anti-Fascist anti-Maidan council, Evgeny Shabayev has told the popular mass circulation daily Izvestia that his group possessed information about Ukrainian and Georgian citizens who played major roles in preparations to the violent events leading to displacement of governments and dissolution of parliaments in these countries – the so-called ‘color revolutions’. Now these people arrive in Russia and start talks with representatives of the pro-democracy opposition party Yabloko and other opposition groups in order to prepare and launch a similar regime change in Russia, the activist claimed.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Since the end of World War 2, the US Government has tried to covertly overthrow the governments of more than fifty other nations, succeeding about half of the time. Known successes are Iran in 1953 and Chile in 1973. Known failures include Iran in 2009 and arguably Libya and Ukraine today.

Police intelligence targets cash

Operating in collaboration with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other federal entities, Black Asphalt members exchanged tens of thousands of reports about American motorists, many of whom had not been charged with any crimes, according to a company official and hundreds of internal documents obtained by The Post. For years, it received no oversight by government, even though its reports contained law enforcement sensitive information about traffic stops and seizures, along with hunches and personal data about drivers, including Social Security numbers and identifying tattoos.

US banks suddenly close dozens of accounts, Muslim group suspects racial profiling

Dozens in the US have received notices that their bank accounts have been closed, without explanation. Some say the banks are trying to eliminate risk, but a Muslim civil rights group suspects racist policies and has complained to the Justice Department.

The letters have been sent to business owners, nonprofits, and students across the country, according to reports. However, no explanation has been provided in any of the notices.

Last year, reports surfaced that Iranian students studying at the University of Minnesota had their accounts closed. Now banks appear to be closing the accounts of people who have connections to Kuwait and Syria.

It Will Cost Taxpayers $5 Billion To Help Obama Create An ISIS Strategy

We can hear the narrative now... how can Congress turn down President Obama's demands for $5 billion to pay for a 'counter-terrorism' fund that could be used to support operations against Islamic State targets in Iraq and Syria... if they do, are they not supporting terrorism? As The Hill reports, White House press secretary Josh Earnest floated the $5 billion counterterrorism fund as something that “would strengthen the hand of this president and future presidents for dealing with urgent situations like this." We await Wednesday night's unveiling of the long-awaited strategy...

Preparing To Asset-strip Local Governments? The Fed’s Bizarre New Rules

In an inscrutable move that has alarmed state treasurers, the Federal Reserve, along with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, just changed the liquidity requirements for the nation’s largest banks. Municipal bonds, long considered safe liquid investments, have been eliminated from the list of high-quality liquid collateral. assets (HQLA). That means banks that are the largest holders of munis are liable to start dumping them in favor of the Treasuries and corporate bonds that do satisfy the requirement.

Why would regulators dangerously jeopardize state and local government budgets in this way? Skeptical observers speculate that the intent is to Detroit-ize municipal governments, so that assets can be stripped as is being done in that imperiled city. The international bankers got away with asset-stripping Greece. Why not make the US itself a wholly-owned subsidiary of private banking interests?

Webmaster's Commentary:

At the risk of sounding like a chipped CD, please have no more money in the bank than you need to handle bills; keep the rest under your personal control.

Find resources from which you can purchase small amounts of gold and silver.

Don't have anything stored in a bank deposit box, because in times of a "financial emergency", the Federal Government now has the right to expropriate whatever they find in those boxes.

Folks, something wicked this way comes, economically; the best you can do is be as prepared for it in the most intelligent way possible.

Why we love to hate conspiracy theories: 911 Truth as threat to the intelligentsia

What ever happened to “war is a racket” and “follow the money”?

In rigorous compliance with the true meanings of “academic freedom” [2] and “freedom of the press” virtually no academics or mainstream journalists have made it their research to find truth or to radically (at the root) question the establishment version.

Indeed, all the major and considered-radical academic pundits such as Noam Chomsky and Ward Churchill, have actively avoided the possibility that the 911 attacks could have been known or aided from within the finance-corporate-military complex.

What keeps them from crossing that line? What makes them demean attempts to cross that line? [3]

Latest IRS email loss evidence of out of control government under Obama

The latest report on Friday describing suspected lawless behavior by the United States' most powerful law enforcement agency is being characterized as an arrogant and cynical insult to the intellect of the American people and evidence of out of control government under Barack Obama.

Officials from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) -- an organization known for its sometimes questionable, ruthless pursuit of taxpayers -- told members of a House of Representatives' committee on Friday that five additional workers allegedly linked to the agency’s Tea Party and conservative targeting scandal appear to have lost emails due to computer problems.

Celebrity photo leak: Fake links to nude photos cause nationwide internet crash in New Zealand

New Zealanders keen to view hacked photos of naked celebrities have been blamed for a nationwide internet meltdown involving the country's main provider.

It is believed a handful of computer users clicked links on Friday evening believing they would be taken to the illicit images, but instead caused them to inadvertently install malware, triggering a crippling internet attack.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A test to take down the internet during the next false-flag attack?

There is no way the perpetrators of a new 9-11 can allow the independent media to operate during a false-flag, lest we find and report the signs of fraud. Remember that in the weeks ahead of 9-11, the FBI was shutting down Muslim websites here in the US, to prevent the victims of the coming frame-up from defending themselves while the official story was implanted into the population.

And the fact that this shut down was confined by the planted malware to only New Zealand suggests it was an operational test.

So don't start clicking links to see naked celebrities this next week.

LA Times Journalist Cleared Articles With CIA Before Publishing

A former Los Angeles Times national security journalist routinely sent drafts of his articles to CIA press handlers for input and revision, the Intercept revealed on Friday.

Email exchanges between Ken Dilanian and public relations officers at the agency were discovered after the Intercept sent a FOIA request to the CIA over its relationship with reporters. In many of the emails, Dilanian promised to provide the agency with positive coverage, often going so far as to change entire drafts of articles based on the CIA's replies.

Patriot Act’s absurd new spawn: Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse

Congress may be preparing to reinforce two horrible FISA Court decisions and an abusive government search with no debate in the coming weeks: a decision to give national security orders unlimited breadth, one making it legal for the government to investigate Americans for activities protected under the First Amendment, and the FBI’s “back door” searches of Americans’ communication content collected under the FISA Amendment Act Section 702 authority.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Congress is most likely giving this approval because they know what these governmental agencies have on them!

Remember Chief Justice Robert's "flip-flop" on Obamacare?!? I am still rather curious as to precisely what "inspired" his change of heart!! :-)

And right after, he slipped out of the country for awhile so he couldn't be questioned on his reversal.

On The Brink Of A Major Crisis: “This Will Be A Literal Collapse of the Entire Global Monetary System”

Discussions of the possible collapse of the U.S. dollar often center around how such an event will affect the domestic economy. But the dollar doesn’t just operate inside of a bubble. It is the world’s reserve currency for a reason. Some sixty-six countries world-wide either utilize it as their primary currency or peg their own currencies to its exchange rate. What this means, as noted by Future Money Trends in the micro documentary below, is that if and when the dollar does come under attack the fallout will be everywhere. The collapse will happen simultaneously and affect billions of people worldwide.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There are 196 nations on Earth. If only 66 are tied to the US dollar, then by definition the US dollar has already lost the status of a "global" currency.

Lap Dancers, the CIA, Pay-offs, and BP’s Deepwater Horizon

The BP executive was explaining to me how the CIA, MI6 and British Petroleum engineered a coup d'état, overthrowing an elected president of a nation who was “not favorable to BP.” The corporation's former Vice-President, Leslie Abrahams, is pictured here, holding an AK-47 in front of BP headquarters in Baku, Azerbaijan. Like most of the other BP executives I spoke with, he proudly added that while he was working for BP, he was also an operative for MI6, British intelligence.
The conversation was far from the weirdest I had in my four-continent investigation of the real story of the Deepwater Horizon.

The BP oilrig blew out on April 20, 2010, four years ago this Sunday.

Andrew Cuomo: Debates Can Be 'A Disservice To Democracy'

With just four days until New York's gubernatorial primary, Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) and his running mate Kathy Hochul have yet to publicly acknowledge their most prominent Democratic challengers, Zephyr Teachout and her running mate Tim Wu -- beyond trying to have Teachout's name removed from the ballot, that is.

“I would like to challenge Kathy Hochul and Andrew Cuomo: say our names,” Wu said Thursday. “They seem to be unable to realize that we even exist.”

Cuomo has declined to participate in a debate with Teachout despite her repeated calls to do so. When asked what it says about his "respect for democracy," the governor claimed such open discussions can actually hinder the democratic process.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Forgive me, but has Governor Cuomo gone absolutely barking mad, to have made that statement?!?

That kind of remark is something one expects to come out of the mouth of a two bit, tin-pot dictator.

Or is he terrified that, on the issues, perhaps these challengers have some positive, can-do approaches about how to build an environment which will enrich the opportunities for businesses to thrive in this state.

Governor Cuomo, your fear and narcissism are showing; and I can assure you that those are not the kinds of emotions the voters of New York want to see from their candidates right now.

IRS Says It Has Lost Emails From 5 More Employees

The lack of accountability at IRS is staggering. ?This is the same agency that has the power (without oversight obviously) to take your property and assets if it deems you haven't been open and transparent with your personal financials obligations to the state. The AP? reports:?

The IRS says it has lost emails from five more workers who are part of congressional investigations into the treatment of conservative groups that applied for tax exempt status.

Webmaster's Commentary:

How completely convenient for this administration!

Of course, given the way they have handled (and mangled) nearly every other aspect of governance, it is completely unsurprising.

The Pentagon Is Giving Grenade Launchers to Campus Police

In 1968, students at Columbia University staged a mass uprising other college campuses in protesting not just the war in Vietnam, but their school’s collaboration with the Institute for Defense Analysis, a Defense Department affiliate that researches weapons technologies. Today, weapons produced by that institute are used by the US military throughout the world—and by campus police forces across the country. The war has come home.

The Pentagon’s 1033 program, which allows the Defense Department to unload its excess military equipment onto local police forces, has quietly overflowed onto college campuses. According to documents obtained by the website Muckrock, more than 100 campus police forces have received military materials from the Pentagon. Schools that participate in the program range from liberal arts to community colleges to the entire University of Texas system. Emory, Rice, Perdue, and the University of California, Berkeley, are all on the list.

Censorship Challenge: Texas Pastor Seeks Restrictions On `Dangerous' Library Books

KTRK-TV in Houston reports that Pastor Phillip Missick of King of Saints Tabernacle, is complaining about several books in the Austin Memorial Library. Not surprisingly, the tomes Missick has targeted deal with supernatural themes.

Apparently, the vampire craze that populates much young-adult fiction is still going strong. This bothers Missick. He is especially disturbed by the Twilight series and similar books titled Blood Promise and Vampire Knight.

Missick is coming to this a little late. The Twilight books are nine years old. (Ironically, the woman who authored them is a Mormon, and many people believe the underlying message of the series is conservative.) But he has decided to jump right in.

In the midst of international crises triggered by Russia, China and the Islamic State, the White House and Congress risk "decimation of our defense" – and security – with continued cuts to the nation's military, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney warns.

CDC caught in billion-dollar scheme to to sell vaccines

This is precisely the state of affairs at the Centers for Disease Control. The agency is, first and foremost, a PR machine. It promotes products. For example: vaccines.

So when CDC whistleblower William Thompson emerged from the shadows on August 27 and admitted he’d participated in research fraud, thereby giving the dangerous MMR vaccine a free pass by claiming it had no causal connection to autism…

he was illustrating a primary mission of his employer, the CDC: spread propaganda assuring the public that vaccines are safe.

Science? Are you kidding? The “research” effort of the CDC is just another way to do PR.

Guatemala Rejects U.S. Trade Law Protecting Monsanto and GMOs

Big Biotech's promise to feed the world, by squeezing out every other choice against the will of the impoverished people intended as the target - is beyond cruel and exploitative. It is another way that the U.S. occupies other countries. How else are other people in these countries supposed to view multiple soft-sanctions on food, but as an act of war?

The people of Guatemala caught on to the deceptive nature of a U.S. Trade Agreement with Central America which was marketed as a way to "modernize" them. It also pretends to protect new seed varieties and paints the seed bearers in need of protection as small farmers. It is actually a way for big biotech and seed companies like Monsanto, DuPont, Duwest, Syngenta, etc. to assume power and immunity as owners of their food supply.

Shabak Strikes Again: Another Palestinian Disappeared on Security Charges

An Israeli source informed me earlier today that the Shabak arrested Muhammad Mahajna a few days ago. He is a young Israeli Palestinian (in his 20s) from Umm al-Fahm . A month ago he was arrested and questioned for postings published to his Facebook page during the Gaza war. He was then released. But four days ago, the secret police broke into his home and arrested him again.

No one has explained the nature of the charges against him. Though my source tells me they are “more serious” than those involving the previous Facebook posts. He is being held incommunicado. He has had no access to an attorney and the case is under gag order. No Israeli publication may write about his case.

Americans will soon be barred from boarding airplanes unless they surrender to federal 'Real ID' card

Residents of nine states who attempt to use their driver's license to enter some government agency offices will be denied, because their legislatures have not agreed to accept a federal law called REAL ID. In fact, according to The Boston Globe, if those states do not accept the law, residents will also eventually lose their ability to use driver's licenses to board commercial flights.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Okay, so legal Americans citizens are having to jump through hoops to prove they are legal American citizens, and may be denied boarding flights and entering Federal Buildings if they fail, at the same time illegal immigrants are being flooded into the nation, offered financial support, amnesty, and flown/bussed all over the place at taxpayer expense. Cameron seems to be considering breaking International law, not once but twice.

First he is considering arming the Kurds in Iraq without the permission from the Iraqi Government. Perhaps he thinks there really is a Kurdistan.

ISIS, ISIL or IS is armed, funded and trained by the USA. Their objective in Iraq is to totally destabalise the nation and weakening it by splitting it into three, part Kurd, part Iraqi and the remainder an Islamic Caliphate.

Secondly he’s openly suggesting that the UK should bomb parts of Syria without the permission of the Syrian Government , not any different in the slightest with Blair’s illegal invasion of Iraq. Cameron declares the Assad Government to be illegitimate.

That being the case in his mind, means that not a country in the world is safe from invasion or attack, Cameron can simply declare the Government to be illegitimate.

Proposed Helmetta photo limits may be unconstitutional, says NJ ACLU

A push by the borough to limit photography inside public buildings may already be in trouble.

According to ACLU of New Jersey Legal Director Ed Barocas, a draft ordinance being considered by the borough council that would force visitors to municipal buildings to obtain a permit before taking photos or video is “definitely subject to a legal challenge.”

“This is far too broad,” adds Barocas. “The idea that you would have to let the government know and to get approval to spontaneously obtain or disseminate information is a serious intrusion on free speech and freedom of the press.”

California's Man-Made Drought

The state's water emergency is unfolding thanks to the latest mishandling of the Endangered Species Act. Last December, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service issued what is known as a "biological opinion" imposing water reductions on the San Joaquin Valley and environs to safeguard the federally protected hypomesus transpacificus, a.k.a., the delta smelt. As a result, tens of billions of gallons of water from mountains east and north of Sacramento have been channelled away from farmers and into the ocean, leaving hundreds of thousands of acres of arable land fallow or scorched.

Helmetta council mulls photo limits following cop video scandal

Operation Choke Point could soon grip casinos

It has already hit gun and ammunition dealers. It has shut down pawnshops and short-term lenders. It has caused banks to discharge potentially thousands from their customer rolls who’ve done nothing illegal or improper. The next casualty will be America’s casino and gaming industry.

Operation Choke Point is a government program that the U.S. Department of Justice has said was designed to combat fraud in the marketplace, but its impact has been felt among law-abiding, legitimate businesses far more than unscrupulous bad actors. Operation Choke Point is a joint DOJ and FDIC program that allows these federal agencies to intimidate banks and payment processors into ending financial relationships with lawfully operating businesses. The casino industry is the next target.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Choke point is another US Government botch-up like the no-fly list, which has some 21,000 people on it even though no actual terrorist has been caught trying to board a US aircraft since 9-11. The government is harming the innocent, failing to catch the guilty, and has the arrogance to demand that you pay for this abuse!

Who's Telling the 'Big Lie' on Ukraine?

f you wonder how the world could stumble into World War III – much as it did into World War I a century ago – all you need to do is look at the madness that has enveloped virtually the entire U.S. political/media structure over Ukraine where a false narrative of white hats vs. black hats took hold early and has proved impervious to facts or reason.

The original lie behind Official Washington’s latest “group think” was that Russian President Vladimir Putin instigated the crisis in Ukraine as part of some diabolical scheme to reclaim the territory of the defunct Soviet Union, including Estonia and other Baltic states. Though not a shred of U.S. intelligence supported this scenario, all the “smart people” of Washington just “knew” it to be true.

Did Hitler really put fluoride in the water at concentration camps? If so why do we put it in are water?

Yes, fluoride was used in Nazi Concentration camps and the gulags in Siberia to make prisoners docile and easier to control. It is also absorbed through the skin when bathing, showering, or swimming in fluoridated water. You absorb through the tissues of your mouth when brushing your teeth. You don't have to swallow it. Cooking with fluoride in water concentrates it in food and beverages. You can't cook it out. Only 50% of it can be excretes by the body so it is a cumulative toxin leading to many health problems. Twenty-four studies have also shown it lowers IQ's in children.

In Kentucky, despite a 1977 fluoridation state-wide mandate, preschoolers cavity rates went from 28% in 1987 to 47% in 2001, according to the July/August 2003 journal, Pediatric Dentistry,

The stars of North Carolina’s Moral Mondays movement took the stage on Labor Day at Charlotte’s Marshall Park to condemn the state’s record on voter suppression and racial profiling, and urge the community to organize and turn out at the polls this November. Just a few hundred feet away, police cuffed and arrested local LGBT activist and former State Senate candidate Ty Turner as he was putting voting rights information on parked cars.

“They said they would charge me for distributing literature,” Turner told ThinkProgress when he was released a few hours later. “I asked [the policeman] for the ordinance number [being violated], because they can’t put handcuffs on you if they cannot tell you why they’re detaining you. I said, ‘Show me where it’s illegal to do this.’ But he would not do it. The officer got mad and grabbed me. Then he told me that I was resisting arrest!”

Webmaster's Commentary:

In this part of the 21st century in this country, that this should even be happening is absoflippinglutely unbelievable.

Voting rights are an inalienable part of ALL of this country's citizens should be able to share, in having a say about the political leadership which represents them.

Nato Plans 'Spearhead' Force To Face Russia

Nato is set to create a high-readiness force and stockpile military equipment in Eastern Europe as a bulwark against potential Russian aggression, the alliance's chief has said.

Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said the proposed new force could be comprised of several thousand troops contributed to on a rotating basis by the 28 Nato countries.

Backed by air and naval assets, he said the unit would be a spearhead that could be deployed at very short notice to help Nato members defend themselves against any threat, including from Russia.

Nato leaders are to consider the plans at a summit this week in Wales that is likely to be dominated by how the US-led alliance should respond to the Russian-backed separatist uprising in eastern Ukraine.

Ukraine is not a member of Nato, but its UK ambassador told Sky News he backed the move and appealed for Ukraine's allies to step up sanctions and provide military help now.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The behaviour on the part of NATO, considering that Ukraine is not a part of NATO at this time, can only be characterized as very odd, in light of the fact that they are hyping the formation of a RRF (rapid reaction force)to come to Ukraine's aid against alleged Russian "aggression", when Russia has not been aggressive against Ukraine in the slightest, and that is what OCSE reports on the border have consistently indicated.

It appears that NATO and the US have decided to curtail Russia's economic growth with a war, and Ukraine is simply the excuse.

But were I Poroshenko, I would hesitate to necessarily hitch my geopolitical/economic/military wagon to NATO and the West.

IF past is prologue, he may want to examine the absolute flustercluck NATO and the US have created in Afghanistan, 13 years on, and wonder - very seriously - if what he has done will ultimately have been the right move for the future of his people.

Please, if you have already not done this, now is the time to take care of yourselves and those you care about. Get storable food, water, extra medications, and figure out how you will defend your home in a way with which you are both comfortable and educated.

Something wicked this way comes, and although I don't want to come across as Mrs. Chicken Little of Hawaii, 2014, preparation right now is critical.

I am very concerned about what I see as the US government marching to war against Russia. And unfortunately, just because an idea is the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly stupid thing this government could possibly do right now, is absolutely no guarantee that they won't do it, and most probably before the mid-term elections....if, in fact, they are held, and we do not see a decree of martial law, to crush dissent against it.

VIDEO: Journalist Roughed Up And Removed From Georgia GOP Event

About 10 minutes later in the video, a hand aggressively blocked Tisdale's camera. The footage showed her being pushed out of the building and into an adjacent one. It was unclear who pushed her, but at some point a Dawson County sheriff's official appeared in the video.

Tisdale asked the official if she could get her purse to give him her identification.

"Nope, you're going to jail," the officer said in the video.

"I've been real nice, now you're going to jail for resisting arrest if you do not stop," the official said. By then, the sheriff's official had Tisdale with her hands behind her back pressed against a desk. He never identified himself in the video. Another man could be heard saying, "Will you please stop ma'am? We've asked you multiple times."

Totalitarian Collectivism

The New World Order has been in place for centuries. Is it not time to start calling the NWO by another name? A descriptive term that encapsulates the essence of the beast would be a Nefarious Warrior Organism. Such a phrase strips away the ridiculous notion that there is any order in the malevolent organization of the parasitic global structure, based upon perpetual and permanent warfare. This depiction more closely resembles reality, even if the master mass media refuses to acknowledge How the World Really Works. Discard any condemnation that criticism of the established order rests upon conspiratorial fantasy or pre-medieval prejudices. Explaining away or ignoring basic human nature in a "PC" culture ultimately requires the adoption of a depraved Totalitarian Collectivism system. - See more at: http://www.batr.org/totalitariancollectivism/090114.html#sthash.yP2udA...

Jews, Hollywood, and Gaza: Some Thoughts

In the world of entertainment, there are few recoveries. In terms of raw power, the eighteen names on the ADL ad are more than match for the hundreds of celebrities who have signed open letters or penned offending tweets. The message might be lost on the public at large, but to those entertainers it is crystal clear — “We own you.”

Obama’s “Loyalties” Makes the Course of WW III Impossible to Accurately Predict

It should be child’s play to militarily chart the course of World War III. The sides are drawn and the options available to each side has become obvious. However, the true nature of our current President makes predictions a difficult proposition.

Police State: US Government-Funded Database Created to Track “Subversive Propaganda” Online

The creation of the Truthy database by Indiana University researchers has drawn sharp criticism from free-speech advocates and others concerned over government censorship of political expression.

According to the award abstract accompanying the funding provided by the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Truthy project aims to demonstrate “why some ideas cause viral explosions while others are quickly forgotten.” In order to answer this and other questions, the resulting database will actively “[collect] and [analyze] massive streams of public microblogging data.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

MOI, subversive?!?!? :-)

If telling the truth has become "subversive", this country might as well pack it in as the alleged "land of the free and the home of the brave". right now.

Police State: US Military Plans to Crush Dissident Political Groups, Target Leaders with Sniper Fire

Links tweeted by WikiLeaks this week called attention to the development of crowd control doctrines by the US military, the most recent of which are codified in a US Army Techniques document dated April 2014, titled “Civil Disturbances.” Main concepts elaborated in the document include crowd dynamics, behavior theories, crowd types, and a “Graduated Response Matrix.”

The document points to various dissident political groups as main targets of the Army’s crowd control planning. “Examples of well-organized groups are anarchists, antiglobalization groups, and anti free enterprise groups,” the US Army document states.

The paper further cites demonstrations coordinated by labor groups, specifically citing the 2011 protests at the Wisconsin capitol. “Labor unions played a large role in the 2011 Wisconsin protests that included passing on information and transporting participants,” the document states.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Always comforting, knowing just what our government has in store for us if we DARE to peacefully express our opinions in a protest against governmental policies, isn't it?!?

NAVY Nurse Who Refused To Force Feed Guantanamo Inmates Is Facing Court Martial

Detainees at Guantanamo Bay have been protesting their imprisonment and cruel treatment with ongoing hunger strikes for the past several months, and have been attacked and force fed by guards as a result. These actions were condemned by more that 250 doctors from the UK, the US, Ireland, Germany, Australia, Italy and the Netherlands.

One nurse that was responsible for force feeding the prisoners, recently made news by refusing to do so. For a length of time this nurse obeyed the orders that he was given, but eventually began to regret his actions, and became a conscientious objector. A spokesperson for the NAVY would not release the name of the nurse, nor the details of their case. They only revealed that the nurse was sent home early and that he is currently “pending court martial”.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Anyone who has ever had a doctor recommend NG feeding for a period of time understands that, even when done by the gentlest, and most competent medical professionals, the procedure is still rough on the system.

To have this done as punishment for being on a hunger fast, against inhumane conditions, when one has never been convicted of any wrong doing, is reprehensible, immoral, and brutal, and should never be carried out at all.

The U.S. Government Can Brand You a Terrorist Based on a Facebook Post

The US government’s web of surveillance is vast and interconnected. Now we know just how opaque, inefficient and discriminatory it can be.

As we were reminded again just this week, you can be pulled into the National Security Agency’s database quietly and quickly, and the consequences can be long and enduring. Through ICREACH, a Google-style search engine created for the intelligence community, the NSA provides data on private communications to 23 government agencies. More than 1,000 analysts had access to that information.

This kind of data sharing, however, isn’t limited to the latest from Edward Snowden’s NSA files. It was confirmed earlier this month that the FBI shares its master watchlist, the Terrorist Screening Database, with at least 22 foreign governments, countless federal agencies, state and local law enforcement, plus private contractors.

Webmaster's Commentary:

OK, to all the alphabet soup agencies following my posts on WRH, I will make this simple for you: I am a Christian pacifist who abhors all violence, and encourages real international cooperation as the best possible way of resolving and preventing wars.

Got it?!?!?

Persistent Unemployment Still A Major Problem In The U.S.

While the mainstream media in the U.S. is desperately trying to sell the false narrative that the national economy is “on the rise” again, Iran’s PressTV is more willing to tell us the red pill truth. The fact of the matter is things are really bad, and we are not going through some sort of Cinderella story of economic redemption.

New data shows there is a persistent unemployment problem in the United States. In fact, the number of people relying on the government for food or housing assistance is still at record levels. For those that do have a job, more Americans than ever are dealing with the sobering reality of earning the minimum wage.

Busted! Five Miami Police Caught 'Flashing Emergency Lights' to Get to DONUTS!!!!!

Several Miami police officers are now under investigation after they were caught on camera using their emergency lights on a trip to a local bakery. Many have already began to speculate as to how many officers ordered donuts for breakfast.

A witness spotted five different police cars from multiple departments traveling down Interstate 95 with their emergency lights on, even blocking traffic at some intersections once they got off the highway so all of the officers could stay together.

The witness took video footage on their cell phone camera, and much to their surprise, the officers all turned off their lights and pulled into a local bakery where they all ate breakfast before returning to their cars.

Washington’s Top Ten Favorite Terrorists

While the US government still claims it is fighting a “War on Terror”, it is often forgotten that the US government has a friendly relationship with many terrorist groups around the world. This relationship is not merely historical, but current.

The US government often supports terrorists who are fighting against governments which oppose Wall Street and are seeking to developing independently. Many terrorists, who commit all kinds of violent crimes against humanity, are being directly supported by the US government at this time.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In today's Washington, "our thugs" are tinpot dictators who give not a rat's nether regions for their people, oppress them, and, ultimately, are overthrown by angry citizens who will never trust the US government ever again.

Monsanto has sued farmers for 16 years, never lost a case

Where is the justice? Since 1997, Monsanto has filed 145 lawsuits, or on average about 9 lawsuits every year for 16 straight years, against farmers who have “improperly reused their patented seeds.”

The biotech giant hasn’t lost a single case, either. Not one. This includes when farmers tried to sue Monsanto over cross-pollination of their organic crops with GMO seed. For example, a federal court dismissed one of those cases, saying that it couldn’t protect Monsanto against unfair lawsuits should they side in the farmers’ favor.

What about unfair business practices? What about 92% of people saying they want their food labeled if it contains genetically modified ingredients? What about the right of farmers to grow food from seed that hasn’t been altered to turn it into a DNA freak show?

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder just how many congressional representatives Monsanto owns, and how many judges (through sweet stock options)it owns as well.

The Economics Of Perpetual War

Art of War actually states that “no country has ever profited from protracted warfare,” and cautions generals to “fight under Heaven with the paramount aim of ‘preservation.’” Yet as far back as we have historical records, these sorts of ideas have fallen on deaf ears among governments and military organizations alike.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The only people who profit from wars are the bankers who create money out of thin air then loan it to the warring parties at ruinous interest!

Aug 31 08:27

FLASHBACK - The New McCarthyism

Once again vast sums of money are being spent on a war, this time a hot one and getting hotter. Once again parties with a vested interest are out to smear and destroy anyone who dares ask if the wars are worth the sacrifice of our young people (not to mention the money), indeed if there really is any point at all to the wars aside from justifying the flow of money to defense contractors.

But the Soviet Union has gone out of business. The word "communist" doesn't carry the same psychological impact it used to, so the war hawk smear squad has come up with a new one, "Anti-Semite." Like "Communist", "Anti-Semite" is used to ruin the lives of people who have not actually done anything wrong other than to challenge the war profiteers. It is a new word for an old trick, and I am amazed that they are still playing the same old game, but I guess the FBI can always find some dumb-assed idiot to fall for it and do their dirty work of wrecking a career for them.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In the aftermath of Israel's Pyrrhic "victory" in Gaza, there is a new McCarthyism stalking Hollywood intending to punish all those who dared speak out for Palestine, only instead of "communist", the word used to wreck careers is "Anti-Semite!" Film and TV, although no longer the high ground in the war for the minds of Americans, was once dominant, and as such, was a target for political influence of every agenda. Those who go along have good careers. Those who do not are destroyed. That is a fact of life in Hollywood, as the trashing of my own career during the Vincent Foster affair illustrates.

Cambridge Mace's Lane Middle School Teacher on Administrative Leave

He's a man with many names, and the books he has written have raised the concerns of the Dorchester County Board of Education and the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office.

Early last week the school board was alerted that one of its eighth grade language arts teachers at Mace's Lane Middle School had several aliases. Police said that under those names, he wrote two fictional books about the largest school shooting in the country's history set in the future. Now, Patrick McLaw is placed on leave.

Dr. K.S. Voltaer is better known by some in Dorchester County as Patrick McLaw, or even Patrick Beale. Not only was he a teacher at Mace's Lane Middle School in Cambridge, but according to Dorchester Sheriff James Phillips, McLaw is also the author of two books: "The Insurrectionist" and its sequel, "Lillith's Heir."

Webmaster's Commentary:

So let me get this straight: this man was arrested for writing books of fiction that might be construed as criticizing the US government?!?

Involuntarily sent to a mental ward?!?

This man's career in education is now in ruins.

When this is all over, his professional martyrdom at the hands of the Dorchester County Public Scholl District may well propel him to a larger audience for his fiction.

Welcome to Amerika, folks.

Poverty Capitalism in 2014 – Introducing Private Probation Companies

As N.P.R. reported in May, services that “were once free, including those that are constitutionally required,” are now frequently billed to offenders: the cost of a public defender, room and board when jailed, probation and parole supervision, electronic monitoring devices, arrest warrants, drug and alcohol testing, and D.N.A. sampling. This can go to extraordinary lengths: in Washington state, N.P.R. found, offenders even “get charged a fee for a jury trial — with a 12-person jury costing $250, twice the fee for a six-person jury.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

In Sweden, they are emptying their prisons, because the sole focus is rehabilitation, and that approach is working close to perfectly.

But in the US, the prison-industrial complex is about profit, rather than rehabilitation, so the process - and profits - grind on. Talk about the inhumanity!!

Chicago man waving ISIS flag out of vehicle window warns cops car is rigged with bomb: police

A Chicago man trailing an ISIS flag outside his car window is behind bars after leading cops on a chase and then telling officers the vehicle was rigged with explosives and would detonate if searched, police said.

Cops tried to pull over Emad Karakrah, 49, Wednesday morning after a caller noticed a suspicious vehicle around 9:15 a.m. on the city’s south side, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

Karakrah apparently was proudly waving the black and white flag favored by Islamic State of Iraq and Syria terrorists.

The man took off, leading officers through several red lights before a second patrol car corralled the fleeing flag-bearer.

As he was taken into custody, Karakrah warned officers the car contained a bomb and would explode if search by police, the paper reported.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This SO reeks of "false flag", in order to terrorize Americans, that I hardly know where to begin.

And the obvious kicker is that no explosive devices were found when the DHS and FBI inspected it.

Expect more of these "incidents" as a prelude to a real "false flag", to be blamed on the "usual suspects", and that well may be coming soon, to try to ignite the American public into another barking mad war frenzy.

But frankly, I do not believe, that even with another false flag, that the American people can be sold into another war at all. Americans are skeptical, and very war weary having seen flustercluck the US has made of its military interventions in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya.

They understand, now more than ever, that these military interventions, where our best and bravest young men and women get killed or maimed for life, are all about private profit.

In Iraq, it was about the oil; who got it, and in what nominations it was sold.

In Afghanistan, it is about the oil pipelines, the opium, and the riches of unexploited mineral wealth.

And in Libya, it was to prevent Gaddafi from instituting a gold-backed dinar, which would have absolutely crippled the worthless US dollar, backed by nothing more than the US government's military prowess.

So if it appears that the US government is trying to sell you another war (which they appear to be doing against Syria, Iraq, and Russia), just ask yourselves: who profits?!?!?

Maine Sec. of State: Real ID “You might as well just repeal the Fourth Amendment”

Maine & Massachusetts residents may not be able to board a plane using their driver’s licenses starting in 2016 if the state does not start complying with the federal Real ID program.

In 2007, Maine became the first state to reject the federal regulations adopted in response to a study on national security after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Federal officials wanted to make driver’s licenses more uniform and secure, but opponents said the federal law was too sweeping and intrusive.

Non-compliance, however, has restricted the ability of residents from some states to access some federal buildings, and that is likely to increase.

The Real ID program is intended to make states’ requirements for driver’s licenses and identification cards more uniform and stringent.

The Real ID program is a REAL NIGHTMARE or a spying governments wet dream.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Last year, when Mike and I renewed our license, the State of Hawaii gave us the option of renewing for either 4 or 8 years, and we took the latter option.

I remember us talking about whether the United States, as we had known it, would still exist by the time those licenses expired.

Right now, I would not bet against it not existing, between its military and financial woes.

And right now, another military misadventure may well do this country in for good.

How The US Militarizes The World’s Police, Not Just Ferguson’s

Since then, the world has watched the streets of Ferguson turn into a battleground, as heavily armed police officers fired tear gas, shot rubber bullets and pointed guns at protesters denouncing Brown’s killing.

“Solidarity with Ferguson,” tweeted Mariam Barghouti from Palestine. “Remember to not touch your face when tear gassed or put water on it. Instead use milk or coke.”

Numerous people — domestic and abroad — have expressed outrage at the militaristic response of local police against protesters, journalists, and people of color.

“Urban Shield plays a leading role in the globalization of repression.”

Since the protests erupted earlier this month, many have called into question the US Defense Department’s 1033 program, which allows surplus military equipment to be transferred to local police departments for counter-narcotics and counter-terrorism operations.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ultimately, the only way "security" is created is through meaningful work, at decent wages, coupled with lifetime education, and money which is created as a public utility, not a loan at interest upon its issuance.

Any other way, which consistently favors suppression as a way of snuffing out dissent, is ultimately doomed to failure.

State Department to hike renunciation fees to US$2,350; says “no public benefit” in respecting human right to change nationality

Confirming reports passed on by commenters at the Isaac Brock Society, DiploPundit points to a State Department interim rule just placed on public inspection for printing in tomorrow’s Federal Register, which raises the fee for renunciation of U.S. citizenship (but apparently not relinquishment) to US$2,350, more than twenty times the average level in other high-income countries. As they state:

[D]emand for the service has increased dramatically, consuming far more consular officer time and resources, as reflected in the 2012 Overseas Time Survey and increased workload data. Because the Department believes there is no public benefit or other reason for setting this fee below cost, the Department is increasing this fee to reflect the full cost of providing the service. Therefore the increased fee reflects both the increased cost of the provision of service as well as the determination to now charge the full cost.

Victor White's Family Disputes Claim That Handcuffed Man Killed Himself

The attorney representing the family of Victor White III -- a 22-year-old man who authorities claim shot and killed himself while locked in a patrol car with his hands cuffed behind him -- says police are not only responsible for his death but launched a cover-up immediately afterwards.

"He didn't kill himself," Louisiana attorney Carol Powell Lexing told The Huffington Post. "They killed him and they have been covering it up instead of dealing with the rogue cop within their department. The bigger question is why did they kill this boy?"

Florida Police Chief Defends Cops’ Aggressive, Violent and Life-Threatening Reaction Against Men Video Recording them

Boynton Beach Police Chief Jeffrey Katz defended the aggressive reaction of his officers in a Youtube video Tuesday, claiming the men in the car were “escalating” the situation by “recording the interaction,” causing one of the officers to fear for his life when a man “reached out of his window with a black object in his hand,” which was nothing more than a camera phone trying to record the cop’s name tag after he refused to provide it.

That cop slapped the phone out of his hand, then yanked the man out of the car, throwing him facedown on the grass while another cop with his gun drawn comes charging towards the other men, threatening to shoot one of them for who knows what.

“I’ll put a round in your ass so quick,” the cop said, even though none of the men in the car were doing anything more than being assertive about their rights, even if they were doing it in a profane manner, which is protected by the First Amendment.

‘The Chinafication of America’: Reaction to Obama Bypassing the Senate with UN Climate Treaty: ‘Obama is taking a page from China’s government’

New York Times: ‘U.S. seeking climate deal that would skirt Senate’: 'Under the Constitution, a president may enter into a legally binding treaty only if it is approved by a two-thirds majority of the Senate. To sidestep that requirement, President Obama’s climate negotiators are devising what they call a “politically binding” deal that would “name and shame” countries into cutting their emissions...American negotiators are instead homing in on a hybrid agreement — a proposal to blend legally binding conditions from an existing 1992 treaty with new voluntary pledges. The mix would create a deal that would update the treaty, and thus, negotiators say, not require a new vote of ratification.’

Video shows police shot Ohio man ‘on sight’ as he leaned on toy gun in Walmart, attorney says

John Crawford III died Aug. 5 after police were called to Walmart in Beavercreek, near Dayton, by another shopper who reported a man carrying what appeared to be an AR-15 rifle.

The 22-year-old Crawford was instead carrying an unpackaged MK-177 (.177 caliber) BB/pellet rifle he picked up in the store’s toy department.

Police claim Crawford ignored their commands to drop the weapon, and the former Marine who called in the report and witnessed the shooting said Crawford “looked like he was going to go violently.” But attorney Michael Wright said surveillance video from the incident, which Ohio’s attorney general allowed him to watch with Crawford’s family, contradicted those accounts.
“John was doing nothing wrong in Walmart, nothing more, nothing less than shopping,” Wright said.

Tanks on the Streets? Police Required to Use Military Equipment within a Year or Return It

The militarization of America’s police forces has been the result of federal policy that not only provides the means to give men-in-blue the same tools as combat soldiers, but in fact requires law enforcement to “use it or lose it” when it comes to military equipment.

Specifically, the Department of Defense’s 1033 program—which funnels all kinds of military surplus goods to police—has a provision that clearly says that any participating law enforcement agency must use its equipment within one year of receiving it. If they don’t, they have to give it up.

Senate Bill (SB) 962 would require manufacturers to add a “kill switch” to cell phones that would let authorities turn the device off remotely. The stated goal of the bill is to allow owners of smartphones to “kill” their phone if it’s stolen, but privacy experts say the bill’s language could be twisted. Additional language was needed, they add.

“If you give law enforcement a tool that can be abused, you’ll have an instance of asking for forgiveness rather than permission,” Jack Laperruque, an expert on privacy at the Center for Democracy and Technology, told The Hill. Laperruque believes authorities could use the kill switch to shut down communications during protests or incidents of civil unrest such as the riots in Ferguson, Missouri.

Federal Judge: Kauai's GMO Law Is Invalid

A Kauai County law requiring companies to disclose their use of pesticides and genetically modified crops is invalid, a federal judge ruled Monday.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Barry Kurren ruled in favor of four seed companies seeking to stop Kauai's new law from going into effect in October.

Syngenta Seeds, DuPont Pioneer, Agrigenetics Inc., doing business as Dow AgroSciences, and BASF Plant Sciences sued for a permanent injunction, arguing the ordinance unfairly targets their industry.

Kurren's ruling agrees that the ordinance is pre-empted by state law. The judge's ruling stops the county from enforcing the ordinance.

Shopping Mall Terror to Control the West?

Do you remember the Kenya Mall incident. The Somali terror group Al-Shabaab, an affiliate of al Qaeda, claimed responsibility for the bloody siege at the upscale mall in Nairobi. (Don’t forget – CIA created al Qaeda). Well several sources in the alternative media have reported in detail that Kenya was a beta test for a very serious mall-attack-plan in the US.

And this, it is alleged, is designed to create havoc and fear – and allow for the complete import of [Martial] Law in America – and justify the breakdown of the constitution, civil liberties and thus the final and complete control of a shadow government over Washington.

Now this sounds fanciful. Does it?

Top general: Islamic State extremists will ‘soon’ pose a threat to the United States

The US military’s top general believes Islamic State extremists will “soon” pose a threat to America and Europe and that an international coalition will be needed to confront it, his spokesman said Monday.

US commanders are preparing possible “options” to counter IS jihadists both in Iraq as well as Syria, according to General Martin Dempsey’s spokesman, Colonel Ed Thomas.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel adopted a more strident tone last week at a Pentagon news conference, suggesting the IS militants presented a dire threat that surpassed the danger posed by the Al-Qaeda network.

But Pentagon officials insisted Hagel and Dempsey shared the same views on the IS.

Dempsey “believes that ISIS (Islamic State) is a regional threat that will soon become a threat to the United States and Europe,” Thomas said in a statement.

“He (Dempsey) believes that ISIS must be pressured both in Iraq and in Syria,” he added.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A memo to Defense Secretary Hagel and General Dempsey: could you possibly telegraph anymore loudly that some elements in this country are gearing up for another false flag, upon which to justify yet more war against....whoever the next target is supposed to be, to prevent the collapse of the US dollar?

Gentlemen, I would strongly suggest to you that IF there is another false flag in this country, skeptical, war-weary Americans will have no stomach for it whatsoever.

Iraq has cratered; Afghanistan is cratering, and Libya has cratered, not to mention other military interventions we're not supposed to know about (like the humanitarian catastrophe in Yemen.)

And if such an even happens, it will demonstrate, incontrovertibly, that everything this country's military and security agencies have done to prevent it have been absolutely, thoroughly, useless and irrelevant!!

And that, gentlemen,is when the American people will wake up, and get angry.

CNN caught red handed covering up CDC medical genocide of African-American babies

Following the explosive story of a key CDC scientist and whistleblower going public with his admission that the CDC committed scientific fraud to bury the truth about MMR vaccines causing autism, CNN has twice censored citizen journalists who posted well-cited stories on CNN's iReport website.

CNN has been aggressively monitoring its own website to commit content suppression actions as rapidly as possible, making sure any truthful reporting about the CDC, MMR vaccines and autism gets deleted as quickly as possible.

The first story posted on CNN's iReport site stayed up for 19 hours before CNN censors noticed it and ordered it deleted. By that time, it had racked up 17,000 shares and was starting to go viral. The author of that story contacted The Truth Barrier and explained how CNN content censors lied:

Oklahoma City bombing: Claims of second accomplice and FBI intimidation

According to the Salt Lake Tribune, US District Judge Clark Waddoups scheduled a November 13th hearing on the matter, in which Utah attorney Jesse Trentadue accused the FBI of threatening to eliminate a former undercover agent’s health benefits if he took the stand. The former agent reportedly knew convicted bomber Timothy McVeigh.

The core of the issue is that Trentadue claims the FBI has surveillance video revealing McVeigh carrying out the Oklahoma City bombing with an accomplice. The FBI adamantly denies that such video exists, and the government has insisted repeatedly that McVeigh acted alone in the event that killed 168 people.

The witness involved in this whole situation, John Matthews, was scheduled to testify regarding this alleged video in July, but withdrew at the last minute. Trentadue – as well as a freelance journalist named Roger Charles – stated that when he spoke with Matthews about his absence, the former agent told them the FBI threatened him.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Like its other associated agencies, the FBI no longer has any credibility whatsoever.

And the only thing it can do to protect its pathological incompetence (or its demonstrated desire to push specific outcomes in its investigations) is threaten.

VIRTUAL 9-11: Will the US & Israel Hack The US Banking System Computers and Falsely Blame It On Iran (or Syria or Russia or China)?

So what it looks like is being planned, and pre-sold to the American people with all these stories about celebrities' personal information being hacked and made public (an activity that produces no profit for the hackers other than news headlines), and the "Syrian" (nudge nudge wink wink) hack of the AP Twitter feed that shocked the US stock market, is that the US Government will itself take down the US financial computers, and blame it on Iran /Russia/ China/Al Qaeda/Syria/Arabs and others to be named as convenient. This gets Wall Street and Washington DC off the hook, because now the financial melt-down is an act of war, rather than the result of decades of Wall Street crime and corruption and the predations of Private Central Banks. US banks have already been hit with cyber attacks, to set the stage.

The Old World Order

The immediate and obvious point to make here is that readers should/must immediately become deeply suspicious any time we are bombarded with a label which contains the word “new”. Implicit in every such label (by definition) is the concept that “this time it’s different”, because if it wasn’t different it wouldn’t be “new”.

“This time it’s different” is a cliché in Western societies. But it’s not revered as an aphorism of wisdom. Rather, it is scorned as the mantra of idiots. This same point was made in a previous commentary which debunked and rejected the ludicrous propaganda euphemism: “The New Normal”. The same analysis applies to both propaganda lies.

WHAT IF THERE IS A 'BANG' INSIDE THE UNITED STATES?

Most people, myself included, are of the opinion that such an event will be another fake terror attack, like 9-11, to be blamed on the target of the pending invasion but actually carried out by the US and Israel. According to a recent poll, a majority of Americans hold that view of 9-11 itself. After the lie about stolen incubators that tricked us into the first invasion of Iraq and the lie Saddam's nuclear weapons that tricked us into the second invasion of Iraq, prudence demands we expect more of the same from our "leaders."

But for the hard core true believers, the men and women so scared of the US Government that they will not even allow the merest hint of doubt or question to enter their minds, lest their souls be eternally damned, the ones so wrapped in the flag that all the blood to their brains has been cut off, I will tell you what another big "bang" inside the US is likely to mean to them.

A big "bang" means the Department of Homeland Security is a total failure.

Abolish the TSA

Recently, there has been a public backlash against new airport screening procedures. Passengers rightfully object to scanners that reveal their naked bodies, and to enhanced pat-downs that would be considered sexual assault anywhere else.

John Tyner summed up this backlash perfectly: "Don't touch my junk!"

We object to these new procedures. They are just the latest symptoms of a series indignities imposed upon us since 9/11, such as . . .

Being forced to remove belts and shoes when screened
Seeing toothpaste and nail clippers confiscated

The underlying, absurd logic is that if you intend to board an airplane, you sacrifice your Fourth Amendment rights against unreasonable searches and seizures. The right to travel—as fundamental a right as there is in a free society—has been turned on its head.

---

Even when the TSA tries to be helpful, it humiliates us. For instance, the TSA's PreCheck program is designed to speed people through security checkpoints.

Ruby Ridge REVEALED - "Victim" Vicki Weaver - The UN-DEAD Anniversary Special

Webmaster's Commentary:

For those who don't remember, the FBI sent an informant over to Randy Weaver to ask him to saw off part of the barrel of a shutgun. The FBI informant just pointed to a part of the barrel and said "here" and Randy sawed it off, not realizing that "here" was 1/4 inch inside the legal definition of a sawed-off shotgun. The FBI hoped that by setting him up for a weapons charge, Randy would be forced to spoy on his neighbors for them, a common trick used by the Soviets. But Randy refused to go along and the FBI charged him, then changed the court date for Randy's while "losing" the notification of the change that was supposed to be sent to Randy. So the FBI was able to issue an arrest warrant for Randy Weaver which led to the standoff at Ruby Ridge. Following the same pattern of "leave nobody alive to contradict the official story", the FBI shot and killed Randy Weaver's wife, Vicky, their son, and wounded Randy and others. Congress held hearings exonerating the FBI for shooting and killing a woman holding a bay while the corporate media demonized Randy ans his family as kooks not worthy of sympathy (as they did following Waco).

Ferguson: No justice in American police state

There are reports that American police kill 500 or more Americans every year. Few of these murdered Americans posed a threat to police. Police murder Americans for totally implausible reasons. For example, a few days before Michael Brown was gunned down in Ferguson, John Crawford picked up a toy gun from a WalMart shelf in the toy department and was shot and killed on the spot by police goons.

It appears that the murder of Michael Brown did not satisfy the blood lust of the goon thug cop murderers. Less than four miles from Ferguson, goon thugs murdered another black man on August 19. The police claims of “threat” are disproved by the video of the murder. You can see the entire scene much better here. This is a clear case of outright murder of a man by our Nazi Gestapo police. The police then handcuff their dead victim.

The Libertarian Moment in Ferguson

Just two weeks ago, The New York Times Magazine had the temerity to ask, “Has the Libertarian Moment Finally Arrived?” Among the evidence that America is becoming more socially tolerant, fiscally responsible, and interested in shaking things up: rapid increases in the acceptance of gay marriage, pot legalization, and other forms of self-expression; wariness toward our bipartisan interventionist foreign policy; widespread outrage at governmental invasions of privacy; continued antipathy toward Obamacare and declining approval ratings of Congress; and a general lack of belief that spending more money is going to fix the country anytime soon.

Turning America Into a War Zone, Where ‘We the People’ Are the Enemy

Life in the American police state is an endless series of don’ts delivered at the end of a loaded gun: don’t talk back to police officers, don’t even think about defending yourself against a SWAT team raid (of which there are 80,000 every year), don’t run when a cop is nearby lest you be mistaken for a fleeing criminal, don’t carry a cane lest it be mistaken for a gun, don’t expect privacy in public, don’t let your kids walk to the playground alone, don’t engage in nonviolent protest near where a government official might pass, don’t try to grow vegetables in your front yard, don’t play music for tips in a metro station, don’t feed whales, and on and on.

For those who resist, who dare to act independently, think for themselves, march to the beat of a different drummer, the consequences are invariably a one-way trip to the local jail or death.

The Secret Playbook of Internet Trolls

Why would a Jew post vile anti-Semitic comments? Because normal people are offended by – and don’t want to be associated with – pure, naked anti-Semitism, and so they will avoid such discussions. If the discussion was originally criticizing a specific aspect of Israel policy, the discussion will break down, and the actual point regarding policy will be lost.

Similarly, anti-Semitic posts weaken websites by making them seem less reputable. Indeed, Common Dreams says that the troll’s anti-Semitic comments drove away many of that site’s largest donors … dealing a severe blow to its continued viability. That’s exactly what trolls spewing anti-Semitic bile are trying to do: shut down logical discussion and discredit and weaken sites which allow rational criticism of policy.

Got weapons? Nude body scanners easily defeated

Researchers are delivering a paper at a security conference Thursday highlighting how easy it is to get weapons through the nude body scanners that have been removed from US airports but have been placed at other government installations across the globe.

The report, given at the Usenix Security Symposium in San Diego, highlights the insecurity of the Rapiscan Secure 1000 Single Pose "backscatter" scanner that once was used throughout the nation's airports but are now deployed at US prisons and courthouses, as well as airports in Africa. The paper, "Security Analysis of a Full-Body Scanner," from researchers at the University of California-San Diego, University of Michigan, and Johns Hopkins University, confirms what even laymen researchers had already discovered: hiding weapons on the side of one's body defeats the machine (PDF).

Government's Response To Snowden? Strip 100,000 Potential Whistleblowers Of Their Security Clearances

The government swears it protects whistleblowers but the efforts it makes undermines its assertions. Telling people the government is targeting them for reasons it doesn't seem to be able to put into words is called a "criminal act." But here's the most surprising fact from Evanina's profile.

One crisp action taken following agency auditing after Snowden’s exposure: 100,000 fewer people have security clearances than did a year ago, Evanina said. “That’s a lot.”

This looks like the proper response to someone like Snowden. Handing out too many security clearances undermines security. But it's more than that: it's a consolidation of power. By stripping 100,000 people of their clearances, the government eliminates 100,000 potential whistleblowers. With fewer eyes watching surveillance programs, odds of abuse multiply. Someone has to watch the watchers and sometimes that someone is nothing more than a government contractor.

CNN Anchor Suggests Police Use Water Cannons On Ferguson Protesters

In discussing seemingly less-violent options for crowd control, Rosemary Church wonders why the largely white authorities in Ferguson haven't considered using water cannons on the the largely black crowds. Once her co-anchor Errol Barnett processed what she just said, he looks at her like she's gone insane.

Webmaster's Commentary:

All I can think of is the song line, "Don't know much about history..."

And it is very obvious that Ms. Church is blissfully unaware of the the civil rights movement and struggle in this country in the 60s, when peaceful African-Americans protestors got routinely hit with water cannon attacks so hard, they literally fell to the ground.

As reported at wikipedia.com:

As the jails and holding areas filled with arrested students, the Birmingham Police Department, led by Eugene "Bull" Connor, used high-pressure water jets and police attack dogs on the children and bystanders.

But when you look at this corporate presstitute, whose job it is not to report the news, or do any due-dilligence fact-checking, but to skew the news in any direction the Federal government wants it to be skewed, what she said was both completely logical, and throughly, outrageously stupid and insensitive at the same time.

The Corporatocracy has spoken: either stop protesting, or such protest will be brutally repressed.

But I think the real reason Furgeson has been so over-run with reporters, etc., after this horrifically tragic incident of the shooting of Michael Brown, is to look at creating a national wave of protest which would give Obama the excuse for suspending the Constitution and Bill of Rights nationally, and invoking martial law. Or at the very least, creating a racial issue for the Democrats to ride into the November elections.

Who know, perhaps, even postponing the mid-terms in November indefinitely?!?

As an observer of the geopolitical scene for some time now, I do not have the luxury...of believing in "coincidences".

City of Des Moines Begins Homeless Camp Evictions

The City of Des Moines said it gave about 50 homeless people living in camps along the river fair warning. On Monday, city crews went from site to site making sure the campers had packed up and moved.

“Today they’re going to come down and take everybody’s stuff and throw it in the dump,” said Don Welch.

Welch was kicked out of a camp site under the George Washington Carver Bridge.

The city brought in a garbage truck and end loader to remove the trash and belongings left behind. Crews are targeting about a dozen remote campsites along the Des Moines and Raccoon Rivers. Officials said most of the campers had already left on their own. Police were on hand to deal with any problems with the few who remained.

“If you don’t leave, they’re going to put you in jail,” warned Welch.

If this is not the criminalization of homelessness, I don't know what the hell is.

That these people only have the choice between moving out of sight, or jail, says a lot about the current moral, and fiscal, state of Des Moines; and I can tell you, neither perspective is very pretty right now.

Congress Members Who Approve Militarization of U.S. Police Receive 73% More Money from Defense Industry

Congress Is For Sale to the Highest Bidder

Americans of all stripes oppose the militarization of U.S. police forces.

For example:

A December 2013 Reason-Rupe poll found that 58% of Americans thought that police militarization has gone too far

A new Pew research poll shows that a plurality of people think that the police have gone too far in Ferguson, Missouri

So why does Congress continue to approve militarization? For the same reason that Congress members vote for NSA spying on Americans and go easy on Wall Street criminals: money.

Maplight reports that congress critters opposing Congressman Grayson’s bill to demilitarize police receive 73% more money than those voting for it:

Is Portugal Next in Line for Wealth Confiscation?

The pattern should be seared in your memory by now. If you fail to recognize it, you could be struck with a huge financial blow.

It’s a pattern that has played out over and over throughout history: a government gets into financial trouble, then denies there’s a problem, which is followed by a surprise wealth grab.

That’s exactly what happened when bank deposits in Spain and Cyprus were raided. We’ve also seen retirement savings confiscated in some form in Poland, Portugal, and Hungary. Capital controls have been imposed in Cyprus and Iceland.

Of course these aren’t the only examples of blatant government thievery. These examples are just within Europe and just within recent years. They can and will happen anywhere.

BUSTED! Gov. Running #Ferguson Twitter Psyop

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is a fact that the US Government has spent millions of your tax dollars buying special software that allows government propagandists to create and use hundreds of fake identities to flood social media with US Government propaganda.

That they are provably using this system now to fan up the racial tensions tells us that indeed Ferguson is an operation to try to trigger mass race riots leading to martial law. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!

Shortly after exposing the government propaganda accounts, this poster was issued a warning form Twitter, implying that calling attention to these manufactured government accounts would suspend his own twitter account!

He said he was on his way out of here and wanted this recorded. I shid you not, and between my research on this government, & history, I'm inclined to believe him. Congress Members Who Approve Militarization of U.S. Police Receive 73% More Money from Defense Industry

The US War Culture Has Come Home to Roost

Police violence in the United States should not surprise anyone. In Ferguson, Missouri, we have witnessed the use against US citizens of Iraq-tested war technologies. On August 17, 2014, a police force using armored vehicles and military tactics fired rubber bullets and tear gas canisters at peaceful protesters who had been demanding justice against Darren Wilson, a killer cop who took the life of Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager. According to an autopsy, Michael Brown was shot six times, including twice in the head; one of the bullets that penetrated his head came from above him, which could indicate an “execution style” for the killing attributed to Wilson. A return to violent tactics rather than the community policing promised by the authorities to the people of Ferguson, and a decision by Governor Jay Nixon to call up the National Guard were very much part of an escalation.

Sonic Weapon Used to Push Back Reporters, Protestors

Webmaster's Commentary:

The model for a civil police force is that the guilty are caught and punished while the innocent are left unmolested. The worst aspect of the militarization of the US police is that they target large masses of Americans without regard to who is actually engaged in wrongdoing. This i snot policing. This is repression.

BEX ALERT - The Coming Race War Won’t Be About Race

Will the recent rioting in Ferguson, Missouri, be a tipping point in the struggle against racial injustice, or will it be a minor footnote in some future grad student’s thesis on Civil Unrest in the Early Twenty-First Century?

Webmaster's Commentary:

This document, just published this past Friday, August 15, 2014, promises to change the way the “authorities” deal with protesters, even peaceful ones. Gaza, Ukraine: The War Drums are Sounding the Alarm

As a writer of articles reporting news events of the world, I often seek to expose the concealed truth beneath the layers of a monolithic state sponsored propaganda machine called mainstream media that simply spreads the lies our leaders tell. And as perilously out of control the earth appears to be spinning this year, no events or developments cut to the core of what it means to be human than responding to what has been taking place this summer in Gaza.

2014 may go down in history as the year that the West initiated the Second Cold War on its way to initiating the Third World War. Spearheaded by arrogant American Empire power lusting desperately for global hegemonic control, this year the US rush to war is backed by its usual suspects, Europe-NATO-British Commonwealth, and its usual Middle East partners-in-crime Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What we have in Gaza, and Eastern Ukraine, are war crimes against helpless citizens, women and children, who are killed by both the IDF and Poroschenko's troops with impunity.

But the war against the world's citizens doesn't end there.

We are witnessing some shocking repression right here in the United States, as the police become more militarized, courtesy of their Israeli trainers, and feel that throwing tear gas cannisters at peaceful protestors; spraying them with pepper spray; and shooting them with rubber bullets, are all standard practices against peaceful protest.

There is a law in physics that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction; so too with poliical and physical repression.

Ask the people whooverthrew the reign of Batista in Cuba; the people overthrew the Shah of Iran; and the Romanian people overthrew Ceausescu.

And please remember: all wars are banker's wars, because banks profit from all sides, at usurious interest rates, and countries may need decades to pay back all the capital, plus the interest on the loans they take in order to wage wars.

But the biggest war crime of them all is starting a war that has no basis whatsoever in terms of national defense, which is what the US government is getting ready to do.

It is about saving the currency, when ultimately all the blood and money spent is to fatten the coffers of private corporations. It is not about freedom; it is not about protecting our rights; war is a method to insure the supremacy of the US dollar in international trade, period, end of discussion.

The Real Issue Behind the Ferguson, Missouri Police Response: Protest Is Treated As Terrorism In America Today

Washington Post writer Radley Balko is the leading expert on militarization of police in America. Balko has testified to Congress and written books on the subject.

Balko said today that the real issue behind the Ferguson, Missouri police response wasn’t the militarized police response – or the minor incidences of looting, rock-throwing and possibly Molotov cocktails by a handful of protesters – but a crackdown by government on all protest:

What we’re seeing in Ferguson, this is not a local issue, really. I mean, this is something that’s been driven by national policies, by policies that Congress has approved of and has oversight of, and could end tomorrow, if they wanted to.

7 Pages to Drone Kill an American Citizen

That’s all that current 1st Circuit Court Judge and then acting OLC head David Barron needed — in February 2010 — to dispense with niceties like the Constitution and Rule of Law before he okayed the drone killing of Anwar al-Awlaki.

Lucky for Barron — and President Obama — International Law scholar Kevin Jon Heller, never having seen that 7 page memo, raised some things Barron hadn’t considered. Which led Barron to write a still totally laughable but nevertheless less ridiculous 41-page memo 5 months later, which Barron’s friends insist is not-so-bad if you want to rationalize drone killing an American with no due process.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Due process lies at the heart and soul of the American judicial process.

But if Obama can rationalize this extrajudicial assassination, what is to keep Obama from performing extrajudicial assassinations against Americans right here at home?

And terrifyingly, the short answer is, not much.

I am a Christian pacifist who never advocates violence, but am reasonably adept at throwing a great deal of logic at various administrations with which I have been morally at odds (and that includes MOST of them, recently).

In a country where the military/industrial complex and security/industrial complex constantly screams for war as the only solution to America's problems, will I be branded as someone who speaks a litany of "inconvenient truths" to the point where, under the language of the NDAA, I can be involuntarily confined INDEFINITELY, with no due process?!?

Unfortunately, right now in this country, the short answer to this is, absolutely.

People with skills and kids, please get the hell out of this country before it is absolutely too late, and no one is allowed to leave, and the silicon curtain falls.

ALL WARS ARE BANKERS' WARS! THE ORIGINAL ARTICLE

"If the Nation can issue a dollar bond it can issue a dollar bill. The element that makes the bond good makes the bill good also. The difference between the bond and the bill is that the bond lets the money broker collect twice the amount of the bond and an additional 20%. Whereas the currency, the honest sort provided by the Constitution pays nobody but those who contribute in some useful way. It is absurd to say our Country can issue bonds and cannot issue currency. Both are promises to pay, but one fattens the usurer and the other helps the People. " -- Thomas A. Edison

New Video of SWAT Team Attack on Al-Jazeera in Ferguson You Haven’t Seen

Infowars reporter Jakari Jackson was standing behind Al-Jazeera America and recorded this footage of the SWAT team purposely shooting at an obvious news crew who announced their presence.

“This is press over here! Why are you shooting at us with bullets?” One of Al-Jazeera’s reporters yelled to the SWAT team. “This is media over here trying to cover the story!”

The SWAT team responded by shooting tear gas at the reporters, who were by themselves blocks away from the nearest protestor.

After previous footage of the attack went viral across the globe, the St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department responded by stating that “SWAT team officers were assisting the media in moving their camera equipment and media personnel to a safer area with their consent so that they could continue to cover the event.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

I do so LOVE how American cops, all over this nation, are interpreting the phrase "to protect and serve" in this country.

At the moment, in any state in this country, police are behaving in terrorizing ways against the people they are allegedly there to help.

At this point, never, EVER call the police if you see something suspicious; you are much more likely to get your own head blown off in such a circumstance, even if you have absolutely nothing to do with what is happening.

Take a fire arms safety course, get a gun, if you can, and be able to protect yourself, calmly and cautiously, should something happen from which you need to protect you and yours.

But what I am seeing in this case, outside of the police attempting to collectively lie their heads off, is a very clear pattern of trying to flame up controversy, and riots, across the country.

So to all our brothers and sisters of all backgrounds and creeds, please understand something: this Administration would love NOTHING less than to suspend the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and invoke martial law on this country. And perhaps, even suspend this year's Congressional election.

So, peaceful protests? Absolutely.

But be aware; there may well be agents-provocateurs among you, inserted by the government in order to inflame crowds to get them to do really dumb things.

The smelly person advocating the use of Molotov cocktails against any law enforcement agency is most likely an undercover CIA/FBI/DHS plant, tasked with making you look really bad and evil.

Order Out Of Chaos: The Doctrine That Runs The World

From the days of Spartacus-Weishaupt to those of Karl Marx, and down to Trotsky (Russia), Bela Kun (Hungary), Rosa Luxembourg (Germany), and Emma Goldman (United States), this world-wide conspiracy for the overthrow of civilization and for the reconstitution of society on the basis of arrested development, of envious malevolence, and impossible equality, has been steadily growing. It played, as a modern writer, Mrs. Webster, has so ably shown, a definitely recognizable part in the tragedy of the French Revolution. It has been the mainspring of every subversive movement during the Nineteenth Century; and now at last this band of extraordinary personalities from the underworld of the great cities of Europe and America have gripped the Russian people by the hair of their heads and have become practically the undisputed masters of that enormous empire. - Winston Churchill, February 1920, in an article that appeared in the Illustrated Sunday Herald

Useful Idiots and the Something For Nothing Society - Part III of IV

The greatest man made societal and economic collapse in history is unfolding before our eyes. This Journey to the collapse of the developed world's civilization and empire began over 100 years ago during the Presidency of Woodrow Wilson with his subversion/betrayal of the constitution of the United States and creation of a privately owned banking and currency monopoly called the Federal Reserve and the creation of the income tax to fund the beginning of the Confiscationism of the progressive socialism we see today. In exchange for a monopoly on money to multi century banking cartels which allowed the country to be run for the benefit of the banking systems. In exchange for unlimited funding for government. Private property rights began its road to demise at that time.

DOCUMENT: Homeland Security Predicts Rise of 'Anti-Government' Violence

A leaked document from the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis predicts increased “anti-government violence over the next year.” The document says the inspiration for violence is Cliven Bundy’s Bunkerville standoff with the Bureau of Land Management from earlier in the year.

Webmaster's Commentary:

No, the inspiration for the violence is a government that has delegitimized itself by failing to keep to the rules in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and sees as its divine right the authority to loot the people for the banks, trick us into wars of conquest, and spy on our every move.

One Nation Under SWAT

Think of it as a different kind of blowback. Even when you fight wars in countries thousands of miles distant, they still have an eerie way of making the long trip home.

Take the latest news from Bergen County, New Jersey, one of the richest counties in the country. Its sheriff’s department is getting two mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles, or MRAPs – 15 tons of protective equipment – for a song from the Pentagon. And there’s nothing special in that. The Pentagon has handed out 600 of them for nothing since 2013, with plenty more to come. They’re surplus equipment, mostly from our recent wars, and perhaps they will indeed prove handy for a sheriff fretting about insurgent IEDs (roadside bombs) in New Jersey or elsewhere in the country. When it comes to the up-armoring and militarization of America’s police forces, this is completely run-of-the-mill stuff.

Tax dodgers' land for sale; may be booby-trapped

The New Hampshire compound of a tax-evading couple convicted of amassing an arsenal of weapons and holding federal law enforcement officials at bay for months is being sold at auction — even as prospective buyers have been kept off the land because it could still be booby-trapped.

The auction of Ed and Elaine Brown's fortress-like home on 100 acres in Plainfield is scheduled for Friday afternoon at U.S. District Court in Concord. The minimum required bid is $250,000. Elaine Brown's dental office in Lebanon also is being auctioned.

Prospective bidders have not been allowed to tour the property, and last year, the U.S. Marshals Service cited the possibility of land mines and other explosives buried on the property as a complication.

Pentagon Hands Lucrative Guantanamo Bay Deal to Notorious Private Security Company g4s

A British private security company that has been accused of numerous human rights violations has been handed a $118 million deal by the Pentagon to provide "operating support services" for the Guantanamo Bay naval base that houses the U.S. military's notorious prison.

The Department of Defense announced earlier this week that G4S has been granted the contract to provide services that include "family housing, facility management, facility investment, other (swimming pools), custodial, pest control, integrated solid waste management, grounds maintenance and landscaping, base support vehicles and equipment, electrical, wastewater, water, and limited facilities support functions." The statement did not mention any duties relating to the Guantanamo Bay prison, which currently holds 149 men without charge or trial.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Hey, we HAD to contract these services out to a firm which embraces human rights violations; otherwise, the contract just wouldn't have worked out!! (Official DOD Souse)

But seriously, this company's penchant for violently handling prisoners is well-documented. As reported at huffingtonpost.com on 29 April, 2014:

More than 100 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons launched a mass hunger strike last week against Israel's policy of administrative detention, a draconian practice whereby Palestinians are detained on "secret evidence" and without being charged. According to Randa Kamel, an advocacy officer for Addameer, a group that monitors Israel's arrests and imprisonment of Palestinians, many of these hunger strikers are being held in prisons using surveillance and security equipment provided by the controversial British security firm G4S. Earlier this month, Palestinian human rights organizations launched a campaign calling on the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to divest from G4S, which they say is "at the heart of [Israel's prison] system, installing and running security systems at Israeli jails." Across the Israeli-occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, G4S also provides security services at many Israeli military checkpoints that control Palestinian movement. The petition is being spearheaded by Addameer and the Palestine Boycott Divestment and Sanctions National Committee. It was also endorsed by an additional 121 Palestinian and international organizations. The Gates Foundation is a global development organization that works in the areas of global health, global development, and betterment in the United States. Despite its public record as a force for global betterment, the Gates Foundation solicited widespread criticism when it purchased $172 million in G4S shares.

Ferguson police: Michael Brown was robbery suspect

Michael Brown, the black teenager shot by police on Saturday in Ferguson, Missouri, was a suspect in a robbery just moments earlier, police have said.

Police say Mr Brown, 18, was one of two men suspected of robbing a nearby convenience store.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Assuming these photos are not after-the-fact stagings, at best they show an altercation between two people, not a robbery.

Missouri is a "shall issue" state for carry permits. Why didn't the store owner have a weapon and use it to defend his store with, if he was actually being robbed?

According to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's office, Michael Brown had no criminal record at all, and he was a week away from starting college. That does not fit the profile of a convenience store holdup man.

But ...

Even if Michael Brown was a suspect, THE POLICE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO EMPTY THEIR GUNS INTO SOMEONE JUST FOR BEING A SUSPECT!

Why didn't the officer use his taser?

More to the point, why didn't the officer call in the shooting on his police car radio? The recording of the St. Louis dispatch radio calls confirm that they only learned of the shooting from the news media. St. Louis dispatch called the Ferguson police station and they had not heard anything at all. The fact that the officer failed to immediately report the shooting is not consistent with the officer thinking his shooting of a suspect was justified.

The corporate media is still trying to spin this as a white versus black issue, to divide us against each other. But this is an issue of We The People, OF ALL COLORS, fed up with a domestic police force armed with military weapons and trained by the Israelis to treat Americans the way the IDF treats the Palestinians.

Since 9-11, the domestic police in the US have murdered 8 times as many innocent Americans as terrorists have, and we are supposed to quietly accept that?

I don't think so!

Michael Brown had no criminal background

An 18-year-old shot and killed near a Ferguson apartment complex Saturday afternoon had no criminal record, according to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's office.
