The Coming Unintentional War With Russia

A couple of months before he retired in July, the head of Canada’s air force provided a blunt assessment of what might emerge from the current military mission to Ukraine.
“We pray that our ongoing NATO mission isn’t accompanied by the escalation of deadly force and the shedding of blood,” Lt.-Gen. Yvan Blondin wrote in the magazine RCAF Today. “We have everything to lose and nothing to gain through a show-down with our former Eastern Bloc foes.”
It was an unusual and candid observation from a veteran Canadian officer about the increased tensions and worsening situation in Ukraine. But Blondin’s warning also reflects an increasing concern among some in the United States and Europe about the possibility that the standoff in eastern Europe between Russia and the West could somehow end in war.

COCAINE PRODUCTION PLUMMETS AFTER DEA KICKED OUT OF BOLIVIA

After the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) was kicked out of Bolivia, the country was able todrastically reduce the amount of coca (cocaine) produced within its borders. According to data released by the United Nations, cocaine production in the country declined by 11% in the past year, marking the fourth year in a row of steady decrease. It was just seven years ago that the DEA left Bolivia — and only three years after that, progress was finally made. The strategy employed by the Bolivian government may be a surprise to many prohibitionists because it did not involve any strong-arm police state tactics. Instead, they worked to find alternative crops for farmers to grow that would actually make them more money.

New Study of JFK Autopsy Reveals Falisifcation of X-Ray

A bullet fragment depicted in an autopsy X-ray used to implicate Lee Harvey Oswald in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy recently has been found to be a faked artifact superimposed on the X-ray sometime after JFK’s autopsy.

Such tampering with official evidence could not have been accomplished without the knowledge of high-level federal officials and adds considerable weight to the claims of government cover-up in that tragic event.

The X-ray fabrication was the topic of a 2015 paper by Dr. David Dr. Mantik published in issue three of Medical Research Archives, an international scientific peer-reviewed journal publishing articles in all disciplines of medicine, with a focus on new research.

We Palestinians don’t expect miracles from the Arabs. We don’t expect them to liberate Palestine from the River to the Sea. We don’t even expect them to liberate al-Quds Ash-sharif and al-Masjidul Aqsa from the clutches of Zionism.

Russia interested in Iran’s Drone Technology

On Wednesday, Manouchehr Manteqi, head of Iranian Aviation Industries Organization, while visiting Russian Aviation Exhibition MAKS 2015 near Moscow, said: “Islamic Republic is known as an advanced country in the field of building unmanned air-born vehicles (UAV). Russian counterparts showed their interests in the transfer of Iranian drone technology.”

In October 2013, Brig-General Farzad Esmayeeli, Commander of Iran’s Khatam ol-Anbia Air Defense Base, presented an Iranian-made model of American ScanEagle, to Lt. General Viktor Bondarev, Russian Air Force Commander.

In November 2014, Iran carried out test run of the American version of the RQ-170 drone with the capability of bombing and reconnaissance missions. One of the RQ-170, America’s top unmanned surveillance aircraft, was brought-down by Iranian military engineers by jamming its control while taking-off from US military base in Afghanistan in December 2011.

Clinton ally accused of running interference on email scandal

Kennedy demanded the conversation about Abedin's email be held in a special, secure facility for classified information that is commonly known as a SCIF despite his claim that the Abedin email was unclassified.

The document in question apparently discussed Christopher Stevens — then a special envoy at the State Department — and his movements in Benghazi as he and his staff prepared for a possible evacuation.

The numbers of desperate migrants heading to Europe has surged ... and so far, EU leaders have been unable to present a plan to tackle the crisis.Hugh Bronson, vice chairman of the Berlin branch of the Alternative for Germany party, says Germany is simply not ready to cope with increasing influx of migrants.

Background behind NATO expansion: new members, new customers

Though armament makers have lobbied for war in times past, Lockheed Martin's lobbying for the attack on Iraq is on an unprecedented scale. Since 1993, the manufacturer of WMD has been working on the enlargement of NATO, whose new members are new customers.

Lockheed Martin's financial and ideological influence in the Republican Party and its close ties with the "hawks" in Washington make it one of the main instigators of the attack on Iraq.

Israeli Nukes Are Finally Newsworthy– As US Government Both Releases and Gags Information

There are signs of pressure on Israeli nukes inside the US media and government. In this article, Phil Weiss will summarize the recent news, and Grant Smith, the lead investigator of the Institute for Research Middle East Policy, follows with a report on a gag order affecting disclosure of US federal information about the Israeli nuclear program.

Last March, William Greider echoed Smith’s exasperation over the hypocrisy in the Nation:

While the Washington press corps obsessed over Hillary Clinton’s emails at the State Department, reporters were missing a far more important story about government secrets. After five decades of pretending otherwise, the Pentagon has reluctantly confirmed that Israel does indeed possess nuclear bombs, as well as awesome weapons technology similar to America’s.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Israel is a nuclear power which refuses to sign the NNPT, which means that any money or military aid from the US is totally illegal, under the Symington Amendment.

Of course, neither the US Congress or President really pays any attention to this law, because it will cause them not to be given AIPAC money, when election time rolls around.

And under the DOE's “Guidance on Release of Information Relating to the Potential for an Israeli Nuclear Capability.”, telling the truth about Israel's nuclear capabilities is a crime for Federal employees!!

Crikey, how more Orwellian than that can you GET?!? Not much!!

‘A better relationship with Iran’ is the deal’s secret promise, but supporters can’t say so

President Obama is still out front of his supporters on message. Three days ago he called his opponents on the Iran Deal “the crazies.” Will someone please give the president some support on this idea? No; political insiders are all afraid of the neoconservatives and the Israel lobby. So Obama is spending all his own political capital in what time he has left.

Though Chris Matthews also went after the crazies last night without calling them that. I’ve never seen him so emphatic in support of the Iran Deal. He pronounced Netanyahu like an epithet.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Is there any other way?

After polluting a large river with toxic heavy metals, EPA says 'climate change' is what's affecting 'kids and communities'

Just one week after workers from her agency "accidentally" released about three million gallons of heavy metal-laden sludge down the Animas River in Colorado, sending arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury into drinking water supplies that serve millions of people throughout the Southwest, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Gina McCarthy had the gall to stand before a Washington, D.C., think tank and declare that the biggest threat to our children and communities is "climate change."

McCarthy gushed on and on during her rant about how "everything and everyone we love" is being affected by climate change, and that it's "one of the most important issues that we face." Meanwhile, a massive, sickly, yellow-tinged plume of industrial waste from Colorado's Gold King Mine near Silverton continues to weave its way throughout Utah, New Mexico, Arizona and California, the direct result of EPA contract workers who allegedly released the toxic flow by mistake.

Construction Site Drones: Efficient, But Also A Bit Scary

By Brian Berletic

MIT's Technology Review recently published a piece titled, "New Boss on Construction Sites Is a Drone," which details the use of drones to track the progress of a project in real-time. At a construction site of a downtown stadium in Sacramento, California, drones regularly patrol overhead, comparing the current state of the project with engineering plans for the site. Discrepancies in both structural elements and with the project's schedule can be detected and passed on to site managers...

‘Islamic State’ Pretence and the Upcoming Wars in Libya

snip: Several major events led to the current stalemate and utter chaos in Libya. One was the military intervention by NATO, which was promoted, then, as a way to support Libyans in their uprising against long-time leader, Gaddafi. NATO’s intentional misreading of UN resolution 1973, resulted in ‘Operation Unified Protector’, which overthrew Gaddafi, killed thousands and entrusted the country into the hands of numerous militias that were, at the time, referred to collectively as the ‘rebels’.

The urgency which NATO assigned to its war – the aim of which was, supposedly, to prevent a possible ‘genocide’ – kept many in the media either supportive or quiet. Few dared to speak out:

“While NATO’s UN mandate was to protect civilians, the alliance, in practice, turned that mission on its head. Throwing its weight behind one side in a civil war to oust Gaddafi’s regime, it became the air force for the rebel militias on the ground,” wrote Seumas Milne in the Guardian in May 2012.

Responsibility to Destroy” (R2D): Total War in Yemen, Humanitarian Catastrophe, Ignored by Western Media

After NATO’s attempt to invoke the “responsibility to protect” (R2P) as justification for the destruction of Libya, it became clear that NATO was merely hiding behind the principles of humanitarian concern, not upholding them. And while it may be difficult to believe, there are still those across the Western media and policy think-tanks attempting to use R2P to justify further military aggression against nations like Syria.

However, R2P is conveniently absent amid what little talk of Yemen that does take place in the Western media. US-backed blockades and months of aerial bombardments have tipped Yemen toward a humanitarian catastrophe. Not only does both the UN and the West fail to demand an end to the bombings and blockades, the West has continued to underwrite Saudi Arabia and the UAE’s military adventure in Yemen.

Webmaster's Commentary:

All I can think of, upon reading this article, is the old Pogo cartoon, with the caption: "I have met the enemy and he...is us!"

It is high time the American people collectively awoke up from their slumber, to understand, and realize the significance of the reality, that in global geopolitics, the US government is no longer "the good guy" anymore.

The pain the leadership of this country has inflicted for decades upon the rest of the world, for private profit, has been, and continues to be, monumental, and so morally wrong that I don't know where to begin.

But there's an interesting Biblical saying; "That which you sew, you shall also reap". This country's leadership has been sewing wars, repression, and the deaths of hapless thousands of innocents who never did a thing to hurt this country.

One doesn't have to be Fellini to figure out what the ultimate repercussions may well be of these policies, and how they may affect each and everyone of us in this country.

The most tragic thing about the Ashley Madison hack? It was really 1% actual women

When the Ashley Madison databases were splashed all over internet by hackers, it emerged that about 31 million accounts on the Tinder-for-affairs website were created by men. And about 5 million by women.

Not great odds if you're a straight fella looking to cheat on your spouse. It turns out the odds were even worse: very few of the chicks on Ashley Madison were using the site in a meaningful way.

By our counting, of the 35,290,361 leaked accounts marked as approved, 4,594,069 were each created by a woman (or someone who said they were a woman).

However, 4,085,458 of those women don't appear to have ever checked their message inboxes on the website – the database entries for those accounts read a default "0000-00-00 00:00:00" for that particular timestamp.

Who rules America?

In defense of his violations of the Constitution, which he is his sworn to defend, Obama insists that Congress has been consulted and has given its approval. That is true. He also points accurately to the sanction provided by the courts.
Yet everyone knows that the American people have never been consulted and have been lied to and kept in the dark about the destruction of their democratic rights. Even the term “bourgeois democracy” becomes something of a misnomer for a political system in which the threadbare trappings of popular sovereignty are so wholly contradicted by the realities of political life.

Webmaster's Commentary:

But if there is one small stray ray of sunshine is, that people are tuning out to the mass media, because they have tired of being lied to, so consistently and flagrantly.

They are reading blogs like this one, and understand that they have the logical abilities to think critically for themselves, and come to their own conclusions.

The Fourth Estate's "feet of clay", in terms of their ability to hold and mold public opinion to support the Government's narrative, is crumbling, and fast.

GOP senator accuses Clinton of improperly passing state secrets to her lawyer

In a “serious risk” to national security, Hillary Clinton gave her State Department emails containing Top Secret and other classified information to her lawyer, who lacked sufficient clearances to possess it and who kept it for as long as eight months, the Republican Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee charged Tuesday.

In a letter to her successor Secretary of State John Kerry, Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa said when she turned over thumb drives containing her official emails to her lawyer, “it appears Secretary Clinton sent (Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information) to an unauthorized person.”

Grassley, who has sent multiple demanding letters in the controversy over Clinton’s use of a private email server, said: “The transmission of classified material to an individual unauthorized to possess it is a serious national security risk (and) it raises legitimate questions as to whether the information was properly secured from foreign governments and other entities.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would be almost willing to bet on one thing; when the campaign season rolls around in earnest, with all the baggage she is carrying from so many deceptions and frauds over a lifetime, Hillary Clinton may well not be the Democrat's candidate after all.

Centcom Defends Skewing ISIS War Intel

While most of the Pentagon is going out of its way to avoid comment on yesterday’s revelation of an ongoing inspectors general investigation into deliberate “skewing” of intelligence assessments on the ISIS war by Centcom, the Central Command itself is defiant, insisting that it acted entirely appropriately in its reports.

In their new statement, Centcom insisted that just because they sought “feedback” from sources like the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) didn’t mean they had to include their comments in the final assessment sent on to policy makers, and that they, as the “primary agency” in the war, get to decide what does or doesn’t get sent on.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Lying to both one's peers and the American public, is now the "new normal" for the Federal Government, which is why thinking Americans don't believe anything the Federal Government says anymore.

ISIS appears to have been concocted and protected by the very US government which condemns its acts today, and appears to be yet another "manufactured excuse" for again putting US troops in harm's way on the ground in Iraq, Libya, and ultimately Syria.

And this is the same US government, claiming that yet another incursion into these countries will be "successful this time"?!?

I am looking at the epic fail which was the invasion and occupation of Iraq; I am looking at the epic, on-going fail which is Afghanistan; and the epic fail of the invasion of Libya, and the extrajudicial assassination of its President, Ghadaffi, which has left the country in chaos; I am looking at the on-going epic fail of the US government-enabled Saudi invasion of Yemen. I am looking at a potential US ground invasion of Syria to oust Al-Assad, which may well invite war with Russia.

And the only logical explanation for the collective war madness which has engulfed the US Federal Government is that they want some war - any war - upon which to blame a coming national economic catastrophe of unimaginable proportions.

As to US government appears to be comprised of people who, collectively, can never take responsibility for anything they have done, this seems an absolutely reasonable scenario, no matter how much hurt they cause to the people of this country, and beyond, in their war lust.
