Top Republican at CPAC: Jeb Bush could emerge as nominee at a brokered convention
Al Cardenas, head of the American Conservative Union, has said that Republican turmoil might lead to a brokered convention in which Jeb Bush, former Florida governor, would emerge as a “possible alternative” party nominee.
Mr Cardenas, who is running this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), a gathering in Washington of some 10,000 conservatives, told MailOnline that it was not certain that one of the four current Republican candidates would emerge victorious.
Memo to Al Cardenas: sir, have you gone absolutely foaming at the mouth, barking mad?!?
There is no authentic appetite, on the part of the American people, for a "brokered convention", and touting yet another Bush for the highest office in the land, will certain hand the election back to Obama.
If that is what the Republican party wants to do at the end the day, that is just fine; however, I would strongly caution you that voters remember Jeb's older brother having lied the American people into war, and having passed some of the most draconian, anti-Constitutional legislation in the history of this country.

Once upon a time...
George...there was a US Presidential family, which arose to power by the usual means: the elders trafficked illegal substances in cahoots with the Mafia.
They got one member elected President, but he ran into a little snafu with his boss in Dallas. Instead of taking the hint, the family tried to elect even more members next, which predictably led to their untimely departures from Earth. The public, quite tired of the aristocratic gang, shrugged, "Whoever did it, it sure saved us from having another ******* President" and asked no more questions.
So now the Bush family aspires to the same status? I wonder if Whoever is still around... don't they define insanity as doing the same thing and expecting a different result? :-)
