Mars Lost: NASA Cutting Mission To Red Planet

Scientists say NASA is about to propose major cuts in its exploration of other planets, especially Mars. And NASA’s former science chief is calling it irrational.

With limited money for science and an over-budget new space telescope, the space agency essentially had to make a choice in where it wanted to explore: the neighboring planet or the far-off cosmos.

Mars lost.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The "far-odd cosmos" is an attempt to bolster the Big Bang theory in the face of mounting evidence that the religious interpretation of the Red Shift is bogus. NASA may also wish to avoid the embarrassment of a mission to Mars that confirms the presence of life after insisting that what we found with Viking was not life.

If there's intelligent life on Mars, let them travel all the way to us.
It will disprove that they are intelligent from the outset.
