Dana Bash and David Gregory are warmup acts for Netanyahu at pro-Israel conference

Maybe these Jewish media figures tell themselves they’re not addressing a fervently pro-Israel organization. Maybe they absolve themselves of being one-sided on a fiercely-contested matter, unwavering American Jewish support for Israel. Then they’re just fooling themselves. They should reflect that there’s an Israeli flag on stage; and that only fervent Zionists are on the program, including outspoken advocates for everything Israel undertakes, Dennis Ross, Eric Fingerhut, Matthew Brooks (of the Republican Jewish Coalition), and Irwin Cotler, as well as Jewish Agency officials responsible for acquiring land for Jews only in Israel.

Obama friends Netanyahu with one-sided statement

President Obama started a Facebook page today, and we can guess who his first friend is. His statement this morning before his meeting at the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was certainly one-sided. Not a word about Israeli settlements. Remember when he used to speak about occupation? Another time, another country. And notice that all the violence is Palestinian. “Palestinian violence against its and Israeli citizens.”

Though the U.S. wants to “make sure that legitimate Palestinian aspirations are met through a political process.” Legitimate Palestinian aspirations. That would seem to mean: rights. But he can’t say so.

Harry Potter author JK Rowling's literary agent - one of the driving forces behind Culture for Coexistence (i.e. Coexistence with Israel and its illegal settlers)

Harry Potter fans “heartbroken” as author urges engagement with Israel

What the letter doesn’t make clear, however, is that one of the driving forces behind Culture for Coexistence is Neil Blair, JK Rowling’s literary agent.

Blair is also on the board of the UK branch of the Abraham Fund. That “coexistence” group is sponsored by Hapoalim, an Israeli bank that finances the construction of Jewish-only settlements in the occupied West Bank.

On 21 October, the UK Friends of the Abraham Fund announced as its new chairperson Alex Brummer, an editor and columnist at the rightwing British tabloid newspaper The Daily Mail, notable for its pro-Israel editorial stance and notorious for its racist and Islamophobic stereotypes.

Brummer is also a regular contributor to The Jewish Chronicle, a British newspaper with pronounced Zionist leanings.

Goy Guide to World History, Episodes 1-5

Dr. E. Michael Jones, author of The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit and Its Impact on World History, begins the series. Jones compresses hundreds of pages of his book, The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit and Its Impact on World History, into a few words and phrases: the necessity of understanding 'usury' and what its elimination would mean; the cultural propensity for the Talmud-Tanach propagandized Jew to mistrust and exploit the Goyim; the subsequent destruction of the Church and the public commons (focusing here on England); the toleration and then triumph of usury; the guilt and cover-up culture of the new 'owners' of the Commons; the 'triumph' of state socialism (lottery & football mayhem); the inability of the Goy to recognize the Jew (goy blindness) and its affects; the corrosive effects of the loss of trust in our economic and political system. Also featured are Kevin MacDonald, Canadian Paul Fromm, & James Joseph Sanchez, PhD.

Most Israelis Favor Killing Palestinians

Propaganda works. Government statements and Israeli media one-sidedly highlight Palestinian “terror” attacks, mindless of reality on the ground.

Most Israelis have no idea or concern about what’s going on inside Palestine - including longstanding occupation harshness, state-sponsored terror against an entire population, a new generation of Palestinian youths demanding freedom, justifiably resisting collective punishment and denial of their fundamental rights.

It is long past time for American politicians to quit carrying water for the state of Israel and its powerful U.S. lobby. Congress' craven obedience to the lobby is a disgrace.

Actions planned to protest Netanyahu’s visit to Washington

With perhaps a level of organizing unprecedented in Washington DC, 38 faith-based and social justice organizations have come together to plan a series of actions to protest the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week to the nation’s capital.

A smaller coalition had come together last March to protest Netanyahu’s speech before Congress and succeeded in convincing 60 lawmakers to #SkiptheSpeech. Now, groups and organizations have been working around the clock to plan events to spread the idea, “No US Tax Dollars to Israel.”

Netanyahu comes for arms and alms

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in Washington now, trying to paper over his disdain for US President Barack Obama long enough to secure a new deal with defence officials to restock his nation’s armoury. There’s little love lost at a personal level between the two men, but Netanyahu knows he can always count on his friends in Washington, in the Jewish lobby, and in the Republican Party.

He is still smarting from the fact that the US along with Russia, France, the UK, China and Germany brokered a deal with Tehran on the future of Iran’s nuclear programme — a deal that he views as being the ultimate threat to the very existence of his country, with Iran having the means and access to technologies that could potentially give it a nuclear weapon.

ICC prosecutor ordered to investigate Israeli attack on Mavi Marmara

On Friday the appeals chamber of the International Criminal Court ruled that the office of the prosecutor must review its decision to close a preliminary examination into Israel’s deadly attack on a ship full of Turkish activists in 2010.

In May 2010, Israel violently raided the Mavi Marmara, a Turkish vessel that was part of flotilla sailing in international waters on its way to break the Israeli siege on Gaza.

During the raid, Israeli soldiers killed 10 civilian passengers and injured many more (nine died immediately and a tenth died of his wounds in May 2014).

In November 2014, Fatou Bensouda, the prosecutor of the ICC, closed her examination into the case, finding it was without “sufficient gravity” to justify further action.

Benjamin Netanyahu is meeting with Obama today. Here’s what he wants.

He's got his work cut out for him. First, he's trying to get the relationship with President Obama back on track after a disastrous 2015 and more broadly mend fences with the Democratic Party. He also needs to demonstrate to Israelis that their country's relationship with the US is back on track, and try to come to an understanding with the Americans about what they want out of Israel on the Palestinian issue.

It's a big agenda. Here's a guide to why Netanyahu has so much on his plate, how he's going to try to accomplish it, and what his chances are of succeeding.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Basically, Netanyahu gets more of your money for weapons to murder his neighbors with, and the Palestinian issue gets put off until someone else is in the White House, a victory for Netanyahu as none of the candidates for next year's elections are sympathetic to the Palestinians' plight!

Israel attacks journalists to hide reality Palestinians face

Dragged by the head, punched in the face, kicked in the knees and pepper sprayed directly in the eyes.

In previously published video of what appears to be the same incident in the West Bank town of al-Bireh near Ramallah, Israeli soldiers also attack Red Crescent medics who were trying to assist a youth the soldiers had just deliberately run over with a jeep.

ICC repeats prosecutor has to reconsider Gaza flotilla probe

Judges at the International Criminal Court reiterated Friday that the court's prosecutor has to reconsider her decision not to investigate the storming by Israel of an aid flotilla heading to Gaza.

The decision means Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda will now have to look at the politically charged case again and decide whether to open a full investigation, which could potentially lead to charges against Israelis involved in the storming.

Bensouda last year declined a request by the Indian Ocean island nation Comoros to investigate the May 31, 2010, storming of a vessel in the flotilla, which was sailing under a Comoros flag.

She said war crimes may have been committed on the Mavi Marmara ship, where eight Turks and one Turkish-American were killed and several other pro-Palestinian activists were wounded by Israeli commandos, but ruled the case wasn't serious enough to merit an ICC probe.

'I Would Like to See Gaza Drown in the Sea': Remembering the True Yitzhak Rabin, 20 Years After His Assassination

This week marks the 20th anniversary of Rabin’s assassination by a right-wing fanatic seeking to scuttle Israeli negotiations with the Palestinians. The past days have been occasion for wistful remembrances of the martyred former Prime Minister by Bill Clinton and a who’s who of the obsolete Israeli “peace camp” that fought for a two state solution.

With his attempts to forge the U.S.-brokered Oslo Accords, Rabin became an icon of liberal Zionism. For the Palestinians, however, he was anything but a man of peace. And, in fact, he never supported an honest two-state solution.

Break out the violins and pass the tissues. Little David Brooks of the New York Slimes & PBS fame is about to school us dumb goyim about the dangers and root causes of "anti-Semitism" TM; and, more importantly, how to "effectively stand against it."

On "anti-Semitism"TM in the Muslim world:

"This is a form of derangement, a flight from reality even in otherwise sophisticated people. This form of anti-Semitism cannot be reasoned away because it doesn’t exist on the level of reason."

So, Muslims suffer from "derangement", eh David? Of course, their sentiments have nothing to do with the brutal treatment which the Israeli military (which Brooks' son volunteered to serve in!) metes out to the poor and dispossessed Palestinians; and its historical unprovoked attacks upon nearby Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and even, clandestinely, Iran. Israel harvesting slain Palestinians' organs: Palestine’s UN envoy

The ‘non-lethal’ chemical weapon killing Palestinians

“The entire camp was full of gas,” he recalled. “We had to have people with gas masks all over in order to pull people who got stuck outside out of the white clouds”

During the middle of the assault, the Israeli army and border police — in a surprise move — issued a message to residents via loudspeaker. One young man caught the entire message on video.

“People of Aida refugee camp, we are the occupation army,” the border police officer’s voice boomed through a main part of the camp in Arabic. “If you throw stones, we will hit you with gas until you all die – the youth, the children, the old people, you will all die.”

“You will all die,” the officer said. “We won’t leave any of you alive. We have arrested one of you, he’s with us now, we took him from his home and we will slaughter and kill him while you watch if you keep throwing stones. Go home or we will gas you until you die, your families, your children, everyone. We will kill you,” the message continued.

‘IDF Turkey Shoot': Israel Shot 2,600 Palestinians in Month of October

Sling shots and stones versus bullets. Knives versus cannons. Israel has a monopoly of force over its indigenous Arab population.

What happened to the Washington’s glorious “peace process”, that diplomatic ritual which premiered all those years ago? Many believed at the time that it was all just political theater. Unfortunately, as we can see today – those skeptics were correct.

While the international media focuses on the “tension” between Israeli paramilitary forces and the Palestinian residents, the Israeli leadership have taken advantage of the crisis in order to militarily encircle the Al Aqsa Mosque, a Muslim holy site, in preparation of enacting its long-term plan of physically isolating and eventually ethnically cleansing the bulk of the remaining Palestinian population out of Jerusalem.

The military operation has been quietly underpinned by an architectural one, a Jonathan Cook revealed this earlier week:

Why did Amnesty say one thing in English and another in Hebrew?

A week ago, Amnesty International published a report on Israel’s summary executions of Palestinians.

As The Electronic Intifada reported, the human rights group said it had “documented in depth at least four incidents in which Palestinians were deliberately shot dead by Israeli forces when they posed no imminent threat to life, in what appear to have been extrajudicial executions.”

It examined the killings of teenagers Saad al-Atrash, Dania Irsheid, Fadi Alloun and Hadil Hashlamoun.

“In some cases,” Amnesty said, “the person shot was left bleeding to death on the ground and was not given prompt medical assistance, in violation of the prohibition of torture and other ill-treatment.”

Amnesty published an Arabic-language release of its report that is faithful to the English version.

Yet the no-holds-barred report was considerably softened for the organizations’s much shorter Hebrew press release (translation below).

Silver lining in US Congress debate on Palestinian “incitement”

But while this may appear to be one more addition to the never-ending list of congressional efforts backing Israel to the hilt, a number of silver linings emerged.

The resolution attracted only 71 cosponsors (42 Republicans and 29 Democrats). Similar resolutions in the past have easily attracted 200 to 300 cosponsors. This resolution was hardly rushed to the floor for a vote. It was introduced in June and members had ample opportunity to demonstrate their support for it prior to the vote.

Despite New York Democrat Eliot Engel pleading his case that “Israel has much bipartisan support in this Congress, and we intend to keep it this way,” his argument was unconvincing. Only one other Democratic spoke in favor of the resolution.

On Sunday, the Palestinian news agency Ma'an released a report quoting a Red Crescent spokesperson as saying that at least 760 Palestinians were shot with live rounds across the occupied Palestinian territory, while another 1,857 were hit with rubber-coated steel bullets.

At least 5,645 Palestinians sustained injuries, including burns from tear gas canisters and excessive tear gas inhalation.

At least 72 Palestinians were also killed in Palestinian territories by Israeli soldiers in October.

Execution of injured Palestinian captured on video

After injuring the 23-year-old Mahdi Muhammad Ramadan al-Muhtasib in the city of al-Kalil (Hebron) on Thursday, the Israeli soldier first stood several meters away from the immobilized victim for a couple of seconds, then aimed his gun at him and fired.

The disturbing footage then shows two more soldiers at the scene, seconds later, milling around the fallen Palestinian, but no ambulance or medics are called to tend to him. Finally, Israeli personnel drag Muhtasib’s lifeless body and put it on a stretcher.

Majority of Palestinian citizens of Israel blame gov’t for violence, fear revenge attacks, limit their movements

After violence took hold of Jerusalem at the beginning of October, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu charged that the fault lay with the Palestinian Authority, Hamas and the Islamic movement of northern Israel. He accused them of inciting attacks against Israelis, and spurring demonstrations across the West Bank, Jerusalem and Gaza that have led to the killings of Palestinian protesters.

Many of his own citizens do not believe him. The 20-percent Arab-Palestinian minority in Israel believe that it is the Israeli government, and not the Palestinian leadership, that is responsible for the outbreak of hostilities, according to a survey published by the Haifa-based think tank Mada al-Carmel.

Violence in the Name of the Messiah – Noah Feldman/Bloomberg View

In July, a house in the Palestinian village of Duma was firebombed. A family of four was inside: Saad Dawabsheh, his wife and two children, ages 4 and 18 months. Only the 4-year-old survived.

The leading suspects for the attack are Jewish, part of a loose network known in Israel as “hilltop youth,” teenagers who grew up in small and often unsanctioned settlements in the West Bank, especially in the region they call Samaria. They perform what are called “price-tag” operations — violent acts meant to send the message that any attempt to remove Jewish settlers from their land will carry a “price.”

Settlers are no different than ISIS in their thinking and ideologies. They have no respect of others faith, race, or nationality. They want to rule by the sword, and if any opposes them, he or she must be killed or made a refugee out of them.

Israel’s Apartheid State

Albert Einstein once said that “insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result”. That’s how it seems to be with President Obama sending his Secretary of State, John Kerry, to attempt to resurrect the talks about talks between Israel and Palestine.

No one knows if the renewed unrest among young Palestinians who are confronting Israel again with stones and knives -- and in return bullets are fired to quell the protests -- is going to lead to a third Intifada. The signs are not propitious. If not today then certainly tomorrow. Israel is running an apartheid state which, as was South Africa’s, has a termination date built in.

Settlers Remember Gunman Goldstein; Hebron Riots Continue

Confrontations between Israeli security forces and Palestinian demonstrators in Hebron continued for the fifth day in a row Friday, with the Palestinians throwing stones at Israeli soldiers and police to protest the inclusion of the Cave of the Patriarchs on a list of Israeli "Heritage sites." The site holy to both Jews and Muslims houses a synagogue and a mosque. Last night dozens of settlers in nearby Kiryat Arba held a ceremony in memory of Baruch Goldstein, who in 1994 shot and killed 29 Muslim worships and injured 125 at the Cave of the Patriarchs before being killed himself.

Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad visited Hebron on Friday and warned Israel of increased risk of violence as a result of the Israeli government decision on the sites, adding "we are all united against the decision of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and against the terror of the settlers."

8-month-old dies from ‘tear gas shot by Israeli forces’ – Palestinian Health Ministry

An eight-month-old Palestinian baby has died from tear gas inhalation near the city of Bethlehem where clashes between Palestinians and the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) had been taking place, the Palestinian Ministry of Health claims.

“Ramadan Thawabteh, eight months old, died from asphyxiation today after inhaling tear gas, fired by the Israeli army, that entered the house of his family,” a ministry spokesman said Friday, as cited by The Times of Israel.

It remains unclear whether a tear gas grenade actually landed inside the house or whether it was the gas seeping from the outside which killed the baby.

The baby’s body was reportedly transported to Beit Jala Governmental Hospital.

No confirmation or comment has followed from the Israeli side as of yet. However an Israeli army spokesperson told Ma'an news agency they were looking into the incident.

Palestinian Woman Shot at Bus Station, Six Times: Israeli Police Alter Story Again

Let’s be clear: the main reason the police have repeatedly revised their account of the events of Oct 9 is because the visual evidence has conclusively refuted their claims. They have been forced to back-pedal.

Without the video, Israa would have been charged with, and probably convicted of, terrorism offences. In line with threats from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, she would also have risked being stripped of her citizenship.

Originally the police said they “neutralised” Israa after she pulled out a knife and stabbed a security guard at the bus station in the city of Afula. When it was clear no one had been injured, the story changed: she had tried without success to stab the guard.

Then it was reported that the police had shot Israa not because of an attempted attack but because she behaved in a threatening manner towards other people at the bus station.

Netanyahu’s lies know no bounds

Four years ago, then French President Nicolas Sarkozy told US President Barack Obama in a conversation about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, “I can’t stand him. He’s a liar.” Obama replied: “You’re fed up with him? I have to deal with him every day.” It was a private conversation, but we know about it because it was accidentally broadcast to journalists.

Politicians may deliberately mislead people, omit vital facts, spin the truth a dozen different ways to serve their purposes of the moment, but they usually avoid outright lies. It’s just too embarrassing to be caught in a lie. And other politicians generally accept that some of their colleagues shade the truth to fit their own agenda as one of the regrettable realities of their trade. They all swim in the sea.

What drove Sarkozy and Obama to talk about Netanyahu like that was the sheer brazen effrontery of his lies — and he was at it again recently. In public, this time.

The survey finds that 46 percent say new laws to reduce gun violence should be a bigger priority, while 47 percent say it's more important to protect the right to own firearms. This marks a shift away from gun laws since April 2013, when Democrats' push for increased background checks fell short in the aftermath of the massacre at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn.; back then, a 52 percent majority said new laws should be a priority.

Confronting the Obvious Truth: Palestinian Authority vs. the People

After reiterating his support for the two-state solution which is now but a fading mirage, Erekat told Al-Jazeera, “We are fully supporting our people and their cry for freedom.”

I think not, Mr. Erekat. Twenty years is long enough to show that those who have taken part in their people’s oppression, cannot possibly be the advocates of their people’s freedom.

Israel intensifies genocide of Palestinian citizens

It’s unlikely that the world has ever seen building and construction used as a weapon on this scale before, but Palestinian land is currently being colonised by over 600,000 Israelis in the West Bank and East Jerusalem areas, and the settlers have openly voiced that they fully intend to eradicate Palestine – or Judea and Samaria, as they call the region, through their illegal construction.

Kyrie Eleison - Gaza 2014

This is a new video to Claire K. Rivero's "Kyrie Eleison" ("Lord have mercy on us all"). In the original version, I made a point of using images of child victims of all wars across the last few decades, but in this version I decided to not "go gently", and the images in this video are all from Israel's attack on Gaza, ending with a message to all American voters.

Schoolgirl executed by Israeli soldiers

Israeli occupation forces have killed six Palestinians since Saturday, including three in Hebron on Monday.

One was a 17-year-old schoolgirl.

The latest deaths brings the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip this month to 60.

At least 15 have been under 18 years old. Nine Israelis have died in the same period.

Israel carried out two air strikes on sites belonging to resistance groups in Gaza late Monday night. One person was injured by flying glass in a nearby home.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is proposing to revoke the Jerusalem residency of tens of thousands of Palestinians in the occupied city.

Making music under siege

Eight years of suffocating siege, three devastating Israeli assaults and longstanding Palestinian political divide have negatively impacted all aspects of life in Gaza — including its music.

There is only one music school in the tiny coastal territory, and only children are taught there.

The Gaza Music School was opened in October 2008. It was bombed by Israel and destroyed two months later.

Over 300 scholars from UK institutions have signed a letter vowing to boycott Israeli universities, citing Tel Aviv's “illegal occupation” of Palestinian land and “human rights violations.” The move has drawn criticism from Jewish organizations and diplomats.

The letter, signed by 343 academics, appeared as a full-page ad in Tuesday's Guardian newspaper.

“As scholars associated with British universities, we are deeply disturbed by Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestinian land, the intolerable human rights violations that it inflicts on all sections of the Palestinian people, and its apparent determination to resist any feasible settlement," it reads.

BEX Alert!!! - "20,000 Israelis sue Facebook over Palestinian calls to kill Jews"

A huge class-action lawsuit has been brought against Facebook in Israel, with the plaintiffs alleging the social medium failed to monitor and delete posts on Palestinian accounts inciting hatred towards Jews. The reaction from Facebook is pending.

The suit alleges that Facebook has a “legal and moral obligation” to sanitize posts instigating Palestinians to stage attacks Israelis, because the social network is “far from a neutral or passive social media platform and cannot claim it is a mere bulletin board for other parties’ postings.”

“Facebook’s refusal to remove the flood of extremist videos, statements and cartoons being posted by Palestinians is encouraging imminent violence and fanning the flames of the terrorist attacks that have overwhelmed Israel in the past month,” it says, coming to the conclusion that “Facebook’s algorithms and platform connects inciters to terrorists who are further encouraged to perpetrate stabbings and other violence attacks against Israelis.”

Ben Carson's Closest Confidant, Business Partner, & 'Brother-Like' Adviser is Armstrong Williams, Rabid Zionist & Disgraced Paid Propagandist for Bush Administration

Armstrong Williams, the black man posing as a 'conservative commentator,' is notorious for being exposed as a phony who took money from the Bush Administration to push the globalist 'No Child Left Behind,' garbage. Williams is presidential hopeful Ben Carson's 'right hand man'- and much more than that. The two are intimately close, Williams has a room in Carson's home, their families vacation together, Armstrong employs Ben Carson's sons, and is Carson's financial adviser and 'business partner.' The rabidly anti-Palestinian Williams recently accompanied Ben Carson to Israel. Despite pretending to be conservative while shilling for 'No child left behind,' Armstrong also admittedly used his blackness and 'minority status,' as opposed to his merit, to convince the FCC to let him buy up more TV stations. This is admitted in official FCC filings and papers. Armstrong recently tweeted "Here we go again.
