The Media-Opoly: Cancelled, From Saturday Night, It’s Conspiracy Theory Rock!

A day after we ran “Meet Your “Independent” Media, America“, in which we showed how prime time entertainment like 60 Minutes is strategically and voluntarily “planted” with propaganda trolls and “concerns” thus crushing any “unbiased” credibility mainstream US media may have, we dug into the archives to bring you “Conspiracy Theory Rock.”

Staged ISIS Execution Video leaked by hackers

Published on Jul 12, 2015

A group of Russian hackers called Cyber Berkut have released a video showing a staged ISIS beheading, hacked from an electronic device from one of the staff of U.S. Senator John McCain. The fake ISIS execution appears to take place inside a film studio and shows a ‘prisoner’ (played by an actor) going through the motions of being ‘executed’ in front of several video cameras.

Another actor is dressed as an ISIS executioner who puts a knife to the throat of the prisoner and goes through the motions of cutting him.

Is Hillary Clinton America's Most Ambitious Sociopath?

In many ways, Hillary Rodham Clinton is an ordinary American woman with an ordinary American family. She's a loyal wife (to a sex-maniac ex-president), a caring mother (to a daughter who married a hedge fund), and a connoisseur of expensive, shiny objects (given to her by medieval dictators). Simply put, Hillary Clinton is as American as apple pie-induced diabetes, and this is why responsible Democrats will vote for her in the upcoming “Banker's Choice Awards” in November, 2016.

In fact, in 2014, the FBI launched a nationwide database of iris scans for use by law enforcement agencies in their efforts to track criminals.

In-Your-Face Absurdity: 90-Year-Old Auschwitz Survivor Survived Three Nazi Concentration Camps, Walked Out Of Gas Chamber Alive: "I completely lost my voice!

This is not a parody or a story from the onion. This was actually reported as fact by the corporate news. She recounts how she was "herded naked into a gas chamber" as a 21-year-old woman: She had no idea the Nazis had tried to kill her until a woman she knew said, "Don't you know what has just happened to you? You were in the gas chamber!" "I completely lost my voice," she said. "I just never realized I was in the gas chamber ... it must not have worked."

Oscar Nominee Subjects Are Going to Be a Heavy Dose of Lesbians, Transgenders, Pedophile Priests

Get ready. This is going to be an interesting year at the Oscars.

The movies that are getting into position for Best Picture nominations are not “Driving Miss Daisy” material.

One of the leading candidates is “Spotlight,” Tom McCarthy’s exciting telling of how Boston Globe reporters unmasked 90 pedophile priests. The film has an all star cast including Mark Ruffalo, Michael Keaton and Liev Schreiber. They will all be contenders in the Best Supporting Acto race.

“Carol” is a love story about two lesbians in 1952 New York. Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara are the lovers, and their work is exceptional. Director Todd Haynes, the actresses, and cinematographer Ed Lachman will all be up for awards.

“Grandma” stars Lily Tomlin as a hippie grandmother, pot smoking lesbian who’s trying to help her granddaughter raise enough money for an abortion. Tomlin is absolutely sterling, and leads my list of potential Best Actress nominees.

In this analysis, I cover Aldous Huxley’s classic 1932 dystopian novel Brave New World from a historical, philosophical and esoteric perspective. What is Huxley saying? Was he involved in erecting the scientistic state we now live in? Did he leave clues in his famous Berkeley lecture that suggest this?

Four in 10 Americans say they have "a great deal" or "a fair amount" of trust and confidence in the mass media to report the news fully, accurately and fairly. This ties the historical lows on this measure set in 2014 and 2012. Prior to 2004, slight majorities of Americans said they trusted the mass media, such as newspapers, TV and radio.

A phone company’s ad reaches a consumer looking for a new wireless plan. A car commercial is seen by a driver whose auto lease is about to expire. A bank gets its message in front of a small business owner who needs a loan. Such surgical marketing messages are taken for granted on the Internet. Yet, they are just now finding their way onto television, where the audience is big though harder to target. As brands shift more of their spending to the Web where ads are more precise, the TV industry is pushing back.

On Contemporary Opera and Wagner’s ‘Jewry in Music’

This month marks the 165th anniversary of the publication of Richard Wagner’s landmark essay ‘Das Judenthum in der Musik.’ Almost right on cue the opera scene, particularly in Berlin, has recently played host to a series of episodes that would have the Old Sorcerer spinning in his grave. Back in June Kirill Petrenko, a Siberian-born Jewish conductor, was appointed as music director to the Berlin Philharmonic beginning September 2018. Petrenko was no-one’s first choice. His name apparently came into the reckoning only after 124 orchestra members split down the middle in an all-day election on May 11, half of them voting for the German favourite Christian Thielemann and the other half for the young Latvian, Andris Nelsons. By nightfall, the players were steeped in conflict, forcing leaders to seek a third, compromise candidate. Petrenko, 43, in his second year as music director at Bavarian State Opera, privately signalled his disinterest in the job.

Mea culpas from Mercer Island School District: The game of tag is ‘reinstated’

Rivero's Rangers! You did it. We internet warriors I once likened to rain drops, dissolving the NWO a drop at a time. We are now like glaciers, tearing the new world order edifice down rapidly. A Plinian eruption from the people of Earth will soon blow them away!

The Mercer Island School District, sheepish at the controversy it set off, has again allowed the age-old kids’ game of tag on its school grounds.

Tag was banned on the island earlier this week, with district communications director Mary Grady telling Q13 news that “… students are expected to keep their hands to themselves. The rationale behind this is to ensure the physical and emotional safety of all students.”

The PR Pope Was Picked To Save The Vatican…Not The World

For many decades, the catholic church has been struggling with a tarnished image, due to their draconian policies, outdated rules and the widening child molestation scandals involving large numbers of catholic priests. Thumpathumpthump, Here Come Trump: Pols Have Knickers in Knot

Posted on September 24, 2015 by Fred Reed

What is it that puzzles New York about Trump’s enormous appeal? . He does what so many of us desperately want. He takes no guff from the loathsome talking heads who have never baited a hook or worried about a mortgage payment or been bankrupted by the confluence of Wall Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. He doesn’t whimper and wriggle and apologize like a puppy who has wet the rug after saying something that upsets the priss spigots. He says, perhaps in different words, what so many want to say. “Stick it where the sun don’t shine.”

It’s wonderful. The Beltway bastards just don’t know what to do about it.

Pope Francis To Meet Man Jailed For Marijuana During US Prison Visit

While Pope Francis has been progressive on many issues, from caring for the poor to protecting our environment, he hasn’t exactly extended his progressiveness to cannabis law reform. In fact, Pope Francis spoke out against legalizing marijuana and ending the Drug War as the Washington Times reported back in June of 2014:

Francis said during a drug enforcement conference in Rome that even the most limited of tries to give legal status to the drug is “not only highly questionable from a legislative standpoint,” but such would “fail to produce the desired results,” AP reported.

MK ULTRA, LSD and the Military Industrial Music Industry

This program is mind blowing, when you consider the many connections between pop culture and music icons, and the military industrial complex. There is obviously a great deal that hasn’t been explained to the naive and believing public, who identify with these figures, and refuse to ask critical questions that could diminish the popular images with whom they identify. Nevertheless, there are endless connections between these celebrated individuals and ongoing experiments in MK Ultra and mind control – perhaps operating on the mass population level.

If even some of this is true, it is interesting and significant; but more so, this is a window into the doors of perception that were used to steer the CIA-created counterculture in order to re-engineer society.

But aside from the performance of individual shows, the number of people using TV in the coveted 18-to-49 demographic was down 8% against the same time last year, and for the first two nights this week usage is off 10%.

Ad Age also noted that among millennial consumers (18-to-24-year-olds), viewing is down 20% against last year, with 24% fewer men in this age group watching TV. The number of 18-to-34-year-old men watching TV is down 18% compared to the same period last year.

Over the summer, there was a broad concern regarding cable companies and a loss of subscribers to services like Netflix and Hulu.

And a report from Wall Street analysts over the summer said TV networks were stuffing their airwaves with commercials in an attempt to prop up revenue.

The Work It Actually Takes to Make a Homemade Chicken Sandwich

Our world of convenience has caused most Americans to lose touch with the work involved in food. Self-reliance takes a lot more than throwing some seeds on a patch of dirt and then magically being fed for a year. Grabbing a "quick" sandwich or bowl of cereal belies what it actually takes to procure those ingredients.

We take a lot for granted. We don't think about life without things like specialized supply purveyors, large-scale agriculture, cheap labor, machines for manufacturing, and the transportation system. Very few people can imagine life without the accessibility provided to us by grocery stores and processed food. Even in the circles of those who stick closely to a non-processed diet, few go all the way.

Four years ago New Zealand introduced new copyright legislation under which illegal file-sharers would be monitored, warned, and eventually punished.

The country was one of the first to have a Government mandated “strikes” policy, but of the initial enthusiasm among copyright holders very little is left.

While monitoring online pirates is relatively cheap, copyright holders are required to pay Internet providers a $25 fee to forward the warnings to their customers.

This means that three strikes costs copyright holders $75, and if they decide to lodge an official complaint after that an additional $200 is added. To put it bluntly, the warnings themselves may be more expensive than the harm online pirates cost the industry.

The New McCarthyism

Thus, when we see people like Willie Nelson, Sean Penn, and Marion Cotillard speak out and survive, or when people like Tom Shadyac (or myself) voluntarily walk away from Hollywood because speaking the truth matters more to them, it sends a message that it is now permissible, indeed imperative to speak out. This is not to say that there are not risks. Rosie O'Donnell lost her spot on "The View", but the majority of Americans understand exactly why, and understand that Rosie sacrificed a great deal trying to get the truth out. Rosie is and will be remembered as a hero for truth long after her co-hosts on "The View" are properly forgotten.

But less than two weeks after Boal made the call, a team of Navy SEALs raided the al Qaeda leader's compound in Pakistan and killed him. Boal would not be going to Afghanistan after all.

The More Money Spotify Makes, The Less Artists Get Paid

Price is seeing this effect not just for Spotify, but for streaming services overall. “The decrease in the per-stream rate is occurring due to the number of streams per month growing at a more rapid rate than the revenue,” Price asserted back in June. “In other words, it appears anyone that pays $10 a month for unlimited music streams a hell of a lot of music.”

Fox News Doesn’t Get it, Blames Russia for Refugee Crisis in EU

DC has lost it....totally!

There is one thing Fox News has learned to do well over the years — that's to blame Russia for all the bad stuff that happens in the world. The Syrian war breaks out — quick to blame the Russians, the US government organized a coup in Ukraine — of course the Russians were behind it, the channel screams. What's next, Fox News? Perhaps the Russians also started the Ebola virus or were behind the extinction of the dinosaurs?

This time, it was no different after Fox News decided to tackle the refugee crisis in Europe. KT McFarland, a Fox News National Security Analyst invited to talk on the issue, was quick to blame… that's right, none other than Russian President Vladimir Putin for creating the refugee crisis in Europe.

One of the most expensive UK shows ever, it has a budget bigger than that of the first two seasons of House of Cards and the first Avengers movie.

Former Top Gear producer Andy Wilman, who has jumped ship with the trio, told Broadcast it was the promise of a reported £160 million that made them choose Amazon (which initially seemed like an odd choice over Netflix or a terrestrial/freeview channel).

Do Jews Run Hollywood? -You Bet They Do...& What Of It?

Crafty 60 Minutes had studied the top slots in town. Their research showed that "only" about 60 percent of the most important positions in Hollywood were run by Jews. What did I think?

I managed to disqualify myself by saying that while Hollywood was not really "run" by anyone (it's far too chaotic for that), if Jews were about 2.5 percent of the population and were about 60 percent of Hollywood, they might well be said to be extremely predominant in that sector.

That was far too logical and un-PC an answer, and I never heard from her again.

Jews Boast of Owning Hollywood—But Slam Gentiles Who Say the Same

The all-out attack by the Jewish Supremacist “Anti-Defamation League” (ADL) on actor Gary Oldman for daring to mention that Jews run Hollywood has highlighted the fact that Jews can routinely boast about that fact—but if a Gentile says the same thing, they are attacked as “anti-Semites.”

Yep, boring. How many writers were behind this show?

The Great American Butthurt

I have a confession to make. Kick me out of any possible minority group I might be a part of but didn’t know it, but any word ending in “-ism” annoys the daylights out of me.

Words to express our affront are being made up left and right by the mere addition of “ism” to the ends of what were formerly perfectly neutral words. It seems like pundits can take basically any word and add “ism” to the end of it and that means they’re being slighted. The list of isms could go on and on, but instead of promoting more equality, all they’re doing is promoting more division. Isn’t that divisionism?

Personally, I’m affronted by the constant barrage of affronts. When did we, as a nation, become such weenies? How is it that such a collection of whiners has become the vocal majority? Certain people are constantly offended and demand the attention of others so they can express the epic level of their personal offendedness.

Zac Efron's new film is one of the biggest bombs ever

The latest movie starring wonderboy Zac Efron has bombed over the weekend, becoming one of the worst releases in American box office history.

We Are Your Friends, which stars Efron as an aspiring DJ, flopped, with Entertainment Weekly reporting it grossed just US$1.8 million (NZ$2.79m) despite being released in 2388 theatres.

Some are speculating the film, which is also screening in New Zealand, may not even make back it's US$6 million (NZ$9.2m) budget.

The only movies to gross worse than it over the past 33 years are Ooglieloves in the BIG Balloon Adventure and Delgo, both of which failed to crack US$1 million.

While the group does not currently have a budget, it intends to counter what Politico.eu called "the destabilizing influence of Russian-language news reports."

Growing Marijuana Strains that Treat PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)

By Daniel Dharma

In our ongoing series on using marijuana to treat PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), we’ve explained what PTSD is, its symptoms, and that marijuana is being used to treat PTSD.

One of the biggest questions I keep getting asked is “which marijuana strains best treat PTSD?”

You’ll want to read all the other articles in this series to help answer that question, so I’ll put links to those articles at the end of this article.

In those past articles, I talked about generic kinds of marijuana that help with PTSD, and why they help.

In this article I give you info about growing specific marijuana strains that help with PTSD…

Why is Mel Gibson making news in Australia?

Did he or didn't he? Did known hot-head Mel Gibson blow up, shove and scream obscenities at a female photographer who snapped him with his new twentysomething girlfriend in Sydney last week? Or did he simply ask her nicely to stop harassing them?

That's what his publicist says, but that's not the story coming from Kristi Miller, a photographer for The Daily Telegraph, Rupert Murdoch's conservative New York Post-style tabloid Down Under.

(* Why is Mel Gibson making news in Australia?
Because he's been working on A New Film http://variety.com/2015/film/asia/mel-gibsons-hacksaw-ridge-to-shoot-i... and this would be a good time to remind everybody that he's already been labeled an anti Semetic , hot-head , and that we really should stay away from the cinema , once it gets released . )

FLASHBACK 2005 - 'The Chosen': Getting In

A few years ago, I wrote a book about the rise of a new educated class, the people with 60's values and 90's money who go to Starbucks, shop at Whole Foods and drive Volvos. A woman came up to me after one of my book talks and said, "You realize what you're talking about is the Jews taking over America."

My eyes bugged out, but then I realized that she was Jewish and she knew I was, too, and between us we could acknowledge there's a lot of truth in that statement. For the Jews were the vanguard of a social movement that over the course of the 20th century transformed the American university system and the nature of the American elite.

Libreoffice 5 review

How much should you pay for a full suite of office applications? The nightmare scenario for Microsoft is that the answer to this is “nothing”, and LibreOffice is one of the products making that nightmare more of a reality.

LibreOffice is a free, open-source office suite that includes a word processor, a spreadsheet and presentation software. It’s derived from the old OpenOffice code base but is much improved over it and its successor products. And, as you’d expect from an open-source product, it’s available on a range of platforms: Windows, Linux, OS X, and (of course) anything you can get the source code to compile on yourself.

FLASHBACK - The New McCarthyism

Of course, what was really involved was money. War is good for business. Business had been great during WW2 and the newly created "Cold War" was just a way to keep business good. The Military Industrial Complex NEEDED Hollywood to demonize the Soviets. Otherwise, too many people were going to ask why we were being told to be so afraid of them, and few in the government had a really convincing answer for that question. So, in order to perpetuate the Cold War, those in Hollywood who might sympathize with the designated villains had to be removed; their ruined lives a small price to pay for unending access to the taxpayers' wallets.

My first real exposure to the Fantastic Bore was not any of the materials most movie studios hoped to shove in front of a person, it was a story I linked a week ago. Titled: ‘Fantastic Four’ actors shut down radio interview over racist, sexist questions. At the time, I thought it was more about out of touch, millennial actors, over-reacting to a relatively innocent question.

Turns out, I was right.

But it’s worse.

They aren’t just out of touch, millennial actors; they are out of touch, preachy, entitled, millennial social justice warrior actors.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Hollywood is cranking out remakes or remakes of remakes, each new version tuned to the propaganda demands of corporations and government in Washington DC and Tel Aviv. And Hollywood is also going through a repeat of what happened in the aftermath of the McCarthy blacklisting when the truly creative people were driven out of Hollywood for daring to think really creative thoughts that didn't conform to the political correctness of the day! Hollywood has gone through a purging of anyone who is not politically correct, or dares to point out where the government has gone wrong. My own story is tragically far from being unique. I have a lot of company in the category of "You'll never work in this town again" exiles. All that is left in Hollywood are obedient hacks who think making a movie is a license to tell us all what to think and feel about anything, and after a while, the constant proselytizing gets annoying, even with 5.1 Dolby Sound and Real 3-D! Those few powerhouse filmmakers with the courage to tell a real story get shunned and shut out of the awards, as happened to James Cameron for "Avatar" (still my all time favorite movie). It is no wonder that Hollywood is not the center of the motion picture universe it once was, or that people are cutting their cable TV subscriptions for lack of anything new and interesting (without the constant preaching) to see.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I got to see a lot of this crap close-up during my thirty years in the film industry.

One huge scandal Hollywood hopes you have forgotten was when David Begelman forged actor Cliff Robertson's name on checks in order to cash them and pocket the money. When the IRS went after Robertson for unpaid taxes on the money, Robertson blew the whistle on Begelman. Needless to say, Robertson's career evaporated, while the top studio heads united in defending Begelman. Columbia Pictures CEO Alan Hirschfield was ousted from the studio in 1978 for refusing to give Begelman back his old job! The reason all these top studio executives were so protective of Begelman was out of fear that their own embezzlement would be exposed by the exploding scandal.

One production I worked on at FOX was used to launder tens of thousands of dollars for the head of production. I recall it clearly when this guy, looking like some mafia Don, calmly informed out producer that their budget had to grow by $25,000. Of course, the money was headed for that executive's pocket, with the producer left to take the heat for going over-budget. Had the producer not complied, the executive was going to pull the plug and shut down the project cold. On another occasion, I was hired to help audit Ray Stark's books when Columbia bought his production company, and it was amazing what Stark had spent studio money on (including professional sex services) and charged it off as a "production expense."

TV flickers as viewers find new screens

The second quarter is always tough for the pay-TV industry, as families move home and college students disconnect, but this time it was the worst on record for net customer losses: an estimated 566,000 people cut the cord. With the exception of Verizon, which is still rolling out its video service, all pay-TV companies lost subscribers during the quarter.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As an industry professional for much of my life, I can tell you a few things that have gone wrong. The most obvious is that cable TV has little if any new content. Every time I go through the channel list, I see repeats of things I have seen before, usually timed to support the latest remake, which if you think about it, actually undermines the desire to go see yet another retelling of the same story. How many times can anyone watch the Bourne Tedium, or Iron Man? Even the new pay-per-view movies seem to be nothing but remakes of things seen before, and Hollywood seems unable to come up with a truly interesting film these days, in part because films have to be politically correct (a black human torch in the latest Fantastic Four), cater to Washington DC's (and Tev Aviv's) propaganda agenda, have plenty of product placements to keep the marketing department happy, then have the script stripped of anything that might offend anyone on the planet, anywhere, at any time. A process like that is guaranteed to produce a lot of commercial repetitive mush, and it is the rare film indeed that manages to survive the current production process with anything resembling an interesting story still intact.

Mexico Government Gives Free TVs to Millions of Poor… With High Definition Social Programming

For better or for worse, television has been how many see the world.

It is a “mediated” experience that shows the viewer exactly what the programmer wants him to see… and believe.

Television has been a remarkable tool of manipulation and indoctrination, and has now created several generations of zombies, morons and dullards here in America.

But poorer parts of the world do not have these things, or at least typically do not have such a close experience with them.

Now, that’s changing. Mexico’s government just spent approximately $1.6 billion dollars to make sure nearly everybody is exposed to the flickering suggestion of the television set – and all that high definition broadcasts and flat screens have to offer.

Setting pace with global standards in an age of massive information and almost universal connectivity is a major interest as well.

The Grateful Dead's Farewell Tour Was The Most-Watched Musical Pay-Per-View Event Ever

Over the years it’s been made clear that the Grateful Dead have a massive, dedicated following, so It isn’t hard to believe that the livestreaming of the band’s final five concerts ended up being the biggest pay-per-view musical event of all time.

According to the web site Deadline Hollywood, a movie production company affiliated with Fox is developing a feature film whose plot will be based on the events leading up to the arrest and incarceration of the former US Navy analyst who passed sensitive information to Israel.

Pollard, who has spent 30 years in jail, is due to be released in November as per the decision of a federal parole board.

The movie will be produced by The Jackal Group, and it will be based on a play by Martin Blank titled The Law of Return. Gail Berman will co-produce the film along with Rory Koslow.

Filmmakers fighting “Happy Birthday” copyright find their “smoking gun”

It's been two years since filmmakers making a documentary about the song "Happy Birthday" filed a lawsuit claiming that the song shouldn't be under copyright. Now, they have filed (PDF) what they say is "proverbial smoking-gun evidence" that should cause the judge to rule in their favor.

The "smoking gun" is a 1927 version of the "Happy Birthday" lyrics, predating Warner/Chappell's 1935 copyright by eight years. That 1927 songbook, along with other versions located through the plaintiffs' investigations, "conclusively prove that any copyright that may have existed for the song itself... expired decades ago."

The Chattanooga shooting inspired an influential former general to call forinternment camps for thought radicals. Pretty outrageous, I know. Imagine how sinister that agenda would be if the Chattanooga shooting is proven to be a scripted hoax?

George Clooney Paid by Lockheed Martin to Oppose War Profiteering by Africans Disloyal to the U.S. Agenda

eorge Clooney is being paid by the world’s top two war profiteers, Lockheed-Martin and Boeing, to oppose war profiteering by Africans disloyal to the U.S. government’s agenda. Way back yonder before World War II, war profiteering was widely frowned on in the United States. Those of us trying to bring back that attitude, and working for barely-funded peace organizations, ought to be thrilled when a wealthy celebrity like George Clooney decides to take on war profiteering, and the corporate media laps it up.

George Clooney Paid by Lockheed Martin to Oppose War Profiteering by Africans Disloyal to the U.S. Agenda

George Clooney is being paid by the world’s top two war profiteers, Lockheed-Martin and Boeing, to oppose war profiteering by Africans disloyal to the U.S. government’s agenda.

“Real leverage for peace and human rights will come when the people who benefit from war will pay a price for the damage they cause,” said Clooney — without encountering anything like the blowback Donald Trump received when he criticized John McCain.

Really, is that all it takes to give peace a chance, a celebrity? Will the media now cover the matter of who funds opponents of the Iran deal, and who funds supporters of the wars in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, etc.?

Webmaster's Commentary:

Last night we watched the "Second Best Marigold Hotel" which also listed a Dubai production company in their credits. Looks like Hollywood is on the wane as the capitol of world movie-making!
