New bill passed: Did this just happen in the Land of the Free? Yes, it did.

snip: And just last week, the United States House of Representatives passed a bill that effectively kicks the scientists out of the EPA’s Scientific Advisory Board, and makes room for industry insiders.

What’s curious is that this bill specifically allows for industry representatives to serve on the advisory board even when they have a direct conflict of interest with the board’s advisory activities.

This makes it yet even easier for a handful of big companies to influence public policy and force everyone else to do their bidding.

By themselves, companies would never be able to set policy. But when you put them in bed with government, they can do so at the point of a gun.

12 Year Old Boy With Toy Gun Killed by Cops

Over the weekend, a boy was killed by police at a playground in Ohio.

From The Washington Post:

On Saturday afternoon, 12-year-old Tamir Rice was sitting on a swing outside a recreation center in Cleveland, wearing a camouflage hat and hiding a BB gun in his waistband.

The boy was playing with the gun on the playground at Cudell Recreation Center, pulling it from his pants and pointing it at people, a man told a 911 dispatcher. The toy’s orange safety tip had apparently been removed, and the caller said the boy was “scaring the s— out of everyone.” He also noted that the boy was “probably a juvenile” and that the gun was “probably fake,” but that message was reportedly never relayed to police.

Ron Paul: Defeat of USA FREEDOM Act is a Victory for Freedom

It will not shock readers to hear that quite often legislation on Capitol Hill is not as advertised. When Congress wants to do something particularly objectionable, they tend give it a fine-sounding name. The PATRIOT Act is perhaps the best-known example. The legislation had been drafted well before 9/11 but was going nowhere. Then the 9/11 attacks gave it a new lease on life. Politicians exploited the surge in patriotism following the attack to reintroduce the bill and call it the PATRIOT Act. To oppose it at that time was, by design, to seem unpatriotic.

Paedophile orgies in luxury flats and claims three boys were murdered by VIPs: Special report into the growing stench of a cover-up by the Establishment

The claim was as clear as it was chilling: behind the genteel façade of one of London’s most famous apartment blocks, children faced abuse on an industrial scale.

Every weekend, groups of vulnerable boys from local care homes were being smuggled to an address in Dolphin Square, Pimlico. There, after being plied with alcohol, they suffered sickening sexual assaults.

The paedophile ring orchestrating these crimes had, over time, come to believe it enjoyed immunity, a whistle-blower told police at the time.

After all, members were said to include a cross-section of Britain’s most influential politicians.

Former Scotland Yard detectives say young boys were murdered by Westminster paedophile ring

Two retired detectives have reportedly backed claims that young boys were murdered by politicians at paedophile orgies.

The claims, said to be in new written statements handed to the Metropolitan Police, have emerged just a week after a witness called 'Nick' claimed he saw a Tory MP throttle a 12-year-old boy to death.

Scotland Yard has already confirmed it is examining a 'possible homicide' committed 30 years ago by a paedophile ring whose ranks included senior Establishment figures.

The revelation came as the Home Secretary Theresa May admitted the recent spate of child abuse allegations were only the 'tip of the iceberg'.

Pat Buchanan on the Rogue President

snip: That this action will be as much a part of Obama’s legacy as Obamacare is certain. The unanswered question is how the Obama amnesty will be remembered by history. His aides think that it will be seen as a second Emancipation Proclamation. Perhaps.

But with this amnesty Obama takes custody of and responsibility for the entire illegal population. He is the patron saint of illegal aliens. And for what they do, he will be held accountable, as was Jimmy Carter for the Marielitos Castro sent and Carter welcomed.

If the amnestied illegals contribute to the drug trade and violent crime, that will be Obama’s legacy to his country. If they turn up disproportionately on the welfare rolls, exploding state and federal deficits, that will be Obama’s legacy.

If this amnesty is followed by a new invasion across the border America cannot control, that, too, will be Obama’s gift to his countrymen.

Washington’s Gamble: Russian Roulette, The Pale Blue Dot And All Out War

The ‘Pale Blue Dot’ is the name of the photograph of the Earth taken in 1990 by the Voyager spacecraft, some six billion kilometres away from our planet as the craft was about to leave the Solar System. The Earth appears as a miniscule dot, almost lost in the vastness of space.

The late astrophysicist Carl Sagan commented on it by saying that from out there in space, there is no inkling, no clue whatsoever, that there is life here; there is no hint of humankind’s squabbles, posturings, religions, civilizations or doctrines; there is no possible comprehension of the intensity or magnitude of human joys and wonder, prejudices and sufferings.

Media ‘gagged over bid to report MP child sex cases’ Security services accused of aiding Westminster paedophilia cover-up

The security services are facing questions over the cover-up of a Westminster paedophile ring as it emerged that files relating to official requests for media blackouts in the early 1980s were destroyed.

Two newspaper executives have told the Observer that their publications were issued with D-notices – warnings not to publish intelligence that might damage national security – when they sought to report on allegations of a powerful group of men engaging in child sex abuse in 1984. One executive said he had been accosted in his office by 15 uniformed and two non-uniformed police over a dossier on Westminster paedophiles passed to him by the former Labour cabinet minister Barbara Castle.

Hundreds Protest Agianst U.S. Support For Mexican Drug Cartels

he abduction and killing of 43 Mexican student activists have sparked nationwide protests in the country. And now Mexican-Americans across the United States have taken to the streets to show their outrage over the students’ tragic fate. Protesters say that the drug related violence and political repression has directly been facilitated by the U-S government. They accuse Washington of supplying the Mexican government and the drug cartels with weapons and training. Miriam Martinez pointed out that funding and weapons from the US are not fighting drugs, but rather are being used to kill innocent civilians and perpetuate drug wars. Christopher Ortigoza pointed out that many of the armed people in the narcotics-linked criminal organizations have actually been trained by the US government. Ortigoza also pointed out to a military training program located in New England, which is said to be linked to many deaths of Mexican civilians.

Will the Iran Deal-Wreckers Prevail?

Iran appears ready to sign an agreement tightly constraining its nuclear program in exchange for some sanctions relief, but neocons and other U.S. hardliners appear determined to wreck the deal, which could make Mideast tensions even worse, writes ex-CIA analyst Paul R. Pillar

As of this writing the greatest chance of wrecking it appears to involve not what is going on at the negotiating tables in Europe but instead what the U.S. Congress may do back in Washington to sabotage the work of the diplomats. The energy for the Congressional wrecking ball comes, as it always has, from three sources.

All-Out War in Ukraine: NATO’s ‘Final Offensive’

There are clear signs that a major war is about to break out in Ukraine: A war actively promoted by the NATO regimes and supported by their allies and clients in Asia (Japan) and the Middle East (Saudi Arabia). The war over Ukraine will essentially run along the lines of a full-scale military offensive against the southeast Donbas region, targeting the breakaway ethnic Ukraine- Russian Peoples Republic of Donetsk and Lugansk, with the intention of deposing the democratically elected government, disarming the popular militias, killing the guerrilla resistance partisans and their mass base, dismantling the popular representative organizations and engaging in ethnic cleansing of millions of bilingual Ukraino-Russian citizens. NATO’s forthcoming military seizure of the Donbas region is a continuation and extension of its original violent putsch in Kiev, which overthrew an elected Ukrainian government in February 2014.

‘International law is being applied highly selectively, when it comes to Iran’

RT talks to U.S. foreign policy analyst Soraya Ulrich

Soraya Ulrich is not optimistic that a deal would be reached before the deadline. She raises the point that this is not just about Iran, this is a fight about upholding international laws and international treaties, which are being violated by the United States. She notes that Iran has never violated the NPT (Non-Proliferation Treaty), yet it is being accused of doing so. If we succumb to the violation by one party i.e United States and its allies in this case, then international laws and international treaties will loose all meaning and other countries will fall prey to such lawlessness.

Top US and Iranian diplomats have decided to stay in Vienna to continue tense negotiations on the nuclear issue until a consensus suitable to both states is reached.

World powers are trying to agree on limits for Iran’s uranium enrichment, and the sanctions imposed on the country.

Moment of Truth — Iran and Obama

President Obama cannot mollify those critics inside as well as outside his administration who want unconditional surrender from the IRI (Islamic Republic of Iran)and still expect to get an agreement. Humiliation is a dangerous and delicate business. Especially so when the party whom you intend to humiliate is a proud people and its leaders willful.

A recommendation: Sign the nuclear accord with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Announce it with great fanfare. Declare that this opens a new era in relations between the two countries and holds out the prospect for achieving peace and stability across the region. By acting in this way, the United States would redraw the diplomatic map of the Middle East in ways that open opportunities for resolution of its internecine conflicts and for the establishment of a measure of stability.
