BEX ALERT - British jihadist medical student, 21, is pictured holding severed head while wearing her white doctor's jacket

A woman believed to be a British medical student who left the UK in order to join ISIS has posted an image on social media of herself holding a severed head.

The woman, who goes by the Twitter name of Mujahidah Bint Usama, claims to be a doctor for the terror group based in Raqqa, Syria.

Syrian “Moderate” Rebels and Islamic State Jihadists “Make Peace”. What Will Obama do Now?

Well, Well, Well, what do we have here?

According to a new report by Agence-France Presse (AFP) “Syrian rebels and jihadists from the Islamic State have agreed a non-aggression pact for the first time in a suburb of the capital Damascus, a monitoring group said on Friday.”

What will the Obama administration do now? Originally President Obama said in a televised speech that he will support “military assistance to the Syrian opposition.” Here is what he said:

Senator John McCain, one of the last non-anguished interventionists in Washington (his Sancho Panza, fellow Republican Lindsey Graham, is another), had a very good last week.

He watched President Barack Obama decide to drop bombs on Syria, a policy McCain has long endorsed. He saw the non-interventionist wing of his party suddenly revise its views when it came under pressure from Middle East reality. The Extravagant Hypocrisy of Obama’s Foreign Policy Mandarins

James F. Tracy
Activist Post

Foreign policy analysts gathered before journalists at the Center for American Progress on September 12 in an event titled, “Combating the Islamic State.” The occasion was held to unveil the analysts’ co-authored report, “Supporting the Syrian Opposition: Lessons from the Field in the Fight Against ISIS and Assad.”

The document’s overall thesis is that US resources must be directed at correcting the “humanitarian situation” (p. 11) in Syria by concentrating on “the defeat of ISIS” with “the removal of Assad” as “a more long term U.S. objective” (p. 3).

A cunning piece of propaganda, the paper’s faulty reasoning is exceeded only by its blatant manipulation of recent history, both of which serve to support the larger geopolitical objective of replacing the moderate, democratically-elected Bashar Al Assad government with an entity more responsive to Western decrees...

How the West Created the Islamic State

Missing from the chorus of outrage, however, has been any acknowledgement of the integral role of covert US and British regional military intelligence strategy in empowering and even directly sponsoring the very same virulent Islamist militants in Iraq, Syria and beyond, that went on to break away from al-Qaeda and form ‘ISIS’, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or now simply, the Islamic State (IS).

According to a little-known November report for the US Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) and Strategic Studies Department, Dividing Our Enemies, post-invasion Iraq was “an interesting case study of fanning discontent among enemies, leading to ‘red-against-red’ [enemy-against-enemy] firefights.”

Contractors Ready to Cash In On ISIS War

Obama pledged that the war against ISIS won’t be fought with U.S. ground troops. He didn’t say anything about contractors, who see this as “the next big meal ticket.”

America’s rapidly-expanding war against ISIS won’t involve large numbers of U.S. troops on the ground, President Obama is promising. And it’s clear that airstrikes alone won’t beat back the extremist group. Which means that if the President wants to have any hope of meeting his far-reaching goal of destroying ISIS, he’s going to have to rely on private military contractors.

At least, that’s what the contractors are hoping.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Concealment: that is what this administration is all about; lies, lies, and more lies, to achieve its geopolitical goals.

There is no real difference between the objectives of Bush and Obama: control of Middle Eastern Oil, and having it paid for only with US dollars; the destruction of America's middle class through outsourcing/offshoring; and the destruction of any competing currency, like the Russian ruble or the Chinese yuan, through war if necessary.

So our best and brightest in our military will die, and be maimed for life, ultimately for corporate pursuit of private profit; cold comfort for their friends and family, but this is the hard truth.

Once you understand this, all the military misadventures in which this country has been mired ever since 2001 come into clear, sharp, and painful focus.

We are not having our freedoms protected by these wars; we are not any more safe because them, or because of the extrajudicial assassinations, upon which which President Bushbama is so keen, which have occurred.

After 9/11, the horrific pieces of legislation which have been put into place, like the Patriot Act, the Homeland Security Act, and the NDAA guarantee that the protections which used to exist under a rule of law, guaranteed by the Constitution and Bill of Rights, no longer exist.

The American Establishment Combats Resurgent “Isolationist” Threat

It had become apparent in 2013 that the American people had grown averse to America’s involvement in wars, and this was given empirical confirmation by a poll conducted by the Pew Research Center in November 2013, which revealed that 51 percent of Americans believed that their country’s military involvement was excessive.[1] Once again the bugaboo of isolationism entered the mainstream spotlight, the derogatory label being attached to those who would like to cut back America’s global intervention.[2] Opposition to the alleged resurgent isolationism united all sectors of the mainstream establishment–liberals, moderates, and conservatives, the ultra-interventionist neoconservatives and the more moderate traditional foreign policy establishment.

Islamic State Video Shows Beheading of Another Hostage

Islamic State extremists released a video showing the beheading of British aid worker David Haines, who was abducted in Syria last year, and British Prime Minister David Cameron late Saturday condemned his slaying as “an act of pure evil.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Even if the beheadings are real (and there is ample reason to doubt it), we do not know who is doing it, only who Rita Katz and her SITE Intelligence Group (linked to US and Israeli intelligence) wants you to blame for it! SITE likes to brag that they are able to release the videos before ISIS does, yet they also claim to "find" these videos online on ISIS websites. This is a logical paradox with no explanation other than SITE Intelligence is itself faking the videos, and it would not be the first time they have been caught doing so.

Lessons of Libya cast shadow on Syria strategy

Almost three years after the overthrow of Moammar Gadhafi, oil-rich Libya is in utter chaos, as militias fight for control of the country and its elected government has fled along with tens of thousands of citizens.

The turmoil in Libya is a cautionary tale as the United States enlists the help of moderate Syrian rebels to defeat the radical Islamic State and oust Syrian President Bashar Assad.

As occurred in Libya, U.S. intervention to remove an anti-U.S. regime could lead to another failed state and more instability in the Middle East.

Moderate rebels in Damascus suburb sign unprecedented non-aggression truce with the IS

The so-called moderate armed opposition groups in Syria have reportedly signed a mutual non-aggression pact with the IS terrorists.

The deal, brokered by al-Qaeda-linked group, al-Nusra Front, was signed in a Damascus suburb, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Friday.

The agreement stipulates that all sides should respect a truce until the downfall of the government of President Bashar al-Assad.

Webmaster's Commentary:

US-Backed Moderate Group In Syria Signs Truce With ISIS: Reports

Moderate and Islamist rebel groups in a Damascus suburb in Syria signed a “non-aggression” agreement with the Islamic State (ISIS), a Syrian monitoring group said. Some of the brigades are part of the U.S.-backed Syrian Revolutionary Front but have now agreed to a truce in Hajar al-Assad with ISIS in order to take down Syrian President Bashar Assad, according to the Agence-France Press. The shifting alliances highlight the challenge faced by the Obama administration in its fight against ISIS in Syria: Even moderates supported by the U.S. can’t be relied on to help battle the terrorist group.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Pay no attention to the fact that the moderates I was sending weapons to in order to fight ISIS have just signed a non-aggression pact with them, we have a new beheading video for you to look at! See? See? Another beheading! Fresh from Rita Katz and her SITE Intelligence Group, famed for their connections to US and Israeli intelligence agencies and with a prior record for making fake videos! Australia contributing 600 troops, up to 10 aircraft to campaign against Islamic State group

Australia is preparing to contribute 600 troops and up to 10 military aircraft to the increasingly aggressive campaign against the Islamic State extremists in Syria and Iraq, Prime Minister Tony Abbott said Sunday.

Abbott said Australia was responding to a formal request from the United States for specific contributions to the international coalition.

President Barack Obama announced the more aggressive military campaign last week. Scores of U.S. airstrikes have been launched at select targets in Iraq, and U.S. planes and drones will be gathering intelligence on targets before launching airstrikes in Syria.

Australia will prepare up to eight F/A18 combat aircraft, an E-7A Wedgetail Early Warning and Control aircraft and a KC-30A Tanker and Transport aircraft to be deployed to the United Arab Emirates, a statement from Abbott's office said.

Were Journalists Spying for the U.S. and Israel?

Videos of two American journalists working in Syria were released recently that purportedly showed their execution by beheading allegedly by members of the Islamic State, also known as ISIS. However, several facts suggest that James Wright “Jim” Foley and Steven Joel Sotloff may have been more than just frontline war reporters. They may have been spies for the United States and Israel.

Foley began work as a photojournalist in 2009 for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) on projects in Iraq. He reported subsequently from Afghanistan, and in 2011 from Libya, where he was held for 44 days by militia loyal to former Libyan leader Muammar Qadaffi, who was assassinated by U.S.-backed rebels. In November 2012, Foley was reportedly captured by Islamic militia while working in Syria and interned for almost two years prior to his alleged execution.

Congress Sees New War on ISIS as Ticket Out of Sequestration

“When America has a visible enemy, America usually unites,” noted an upbeat Sen. Bill Nelson (D – FL). And unity in Congress means runaway military spending.

The White House declaration that “we are at war” with ISIS is an extremely welcome sign to Congressional hawks, not just because they’re really into war, but also because it’s a great excuse to ditch sequestration and start hiking spending anew.

“We should have found a way to get rid of sequester long ago,” noted Senate Armed Services Chair Carl Levin (D – MI), who expressed hope that the new war “will help a little bit” with that. Sens. John McCain (R – AZ) and Lindsey Graham (R – SC) both declared anything short of a full end to spending caps a “great disservice” to the country, and a threat to the war goals.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have to wonder just how many of these warmongers in Congress, in both parties, own extensive shares in the military industrial complex.

We have homeless Vets sleeping in our streets; our public education system is a mess; our prisons are in a mess;and the previous wars in which this country is engaged have left the US morally and fiscally bankrupt.

So what does Congress want to do?!? Create more wars.

And we can see how catastrophically those wars have gone; Iraq is in meltdown; Afghanistan, 13 years on, can not be characterized as a military "win" in any way, shape or form; and Libya?!? Melting down in front of our eyes as I type this.

No one in Congress who supports these wars is worthy of being re-elected in the mid-terms in 2014; not one single person.

It is unfortunate that the US government doesn't have a voting mechanism for "none of the above", which would necessitate another election, until we finally get Congressional Representatives who actually represent We the People; not the huge corporations which fund election cycles.

Retired Air Force Gen. Michael Hayden used a recent conference call with reporters to warn about the dangers of relying on air power to attain military objectives in the Middle East. The former director of both the CIA and the National Security Agency also raised eyebrows when he likened the temptation to lean on air power to casual sex.

“The reliance on air power has all of the attraction of casual sex: It seems to offer gratification but with little commitment,” said Gen. Hayden, U.S. News and World Report reported Thursday. “We need to be wary of a strategy that puts emphasis on air power and air power alone.”

Obama Declares War on Syria: Why the Real Target is Assad Not ISIS

Invoking the same ominous language as his predecessor, Barack Obama used a prime time presidential address on Wednesday to announce the beginning of a war on Syria. And while there's no doubt that many Americans will be confused by Obama's misleading focus on the terrorist organization named ISIL, the real purpose of the speech was to garner support for another decade of homicidal conflicts in the Middle East.

The administration is as determined as ever to plunge the region into chaos, erase existing borders, and install its puppets wherever it can. ISIL -- which is mainly an invention of western Intel agencies and their treacherous counterparts in the Gulf -- conveniently creates the justification for another bloody invasion followed by years of occupation, subjugation, and revolt.

‘Moderate’ Syria Rebels Sign Non-Aggression Pact With ISIS

Over the past few months, the Syrian Civil War has taken a back seat to the “war within a war” of faction fighting between ISIS and various other rebel groups. That seems to be coming to an end.

Today, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that ISIS and other significant rebel factions, including both Islamist and “moderate” groups, have signed a mutual non-aggression pact in a Damascus suburb.

The pact was said to have been brokered by al-Qaeda’s Jabhat al-Nusra, and agrees that all sides will respect a truce until the destruction of the “Nussayri” regime, a pejorative term for Alawites.

Webmaster's Commentary:

WHAT THE FLIP?!?!?

Would someone please tell me if these 'moderate' Syrian rebels are those same rebels who Obama wants to arm, after they have signed this non-aggression pact with ISIS?!?

This stands confirmed in Huffpo; YaLibnan; and ibtimes.

I am sorry, but the logic-challenged quality of the President's thinking just jumped the shark today, and our bovine excrement meter has just imploded spectacularly.

Obama’s ISIS War is Not Only Illegal, it Makes George W. Bush Look Like a Constitutional Scholar

Andrew J. Bacevich, the Boston University political science professor and former Army colonel who lost his son in the Iraq war in 2007, in a recent Reuters article.

I have spent the past several days outlining my deep concerns about the “ISIS crisis” and Obama’s willingness to employ extreme propaganda in order to once again embark on another poorly thought out military campaign here and here. What I have also come to realize is that his latest war plan is brazenly illegal and unconstitutional.

While critics have been questioning the legality of U.S. military campaigns consistently since the end of World War II, one trend has become increasingly clear. With each new President and each new war, we have witnessed those who hold the office act more and more like dictators, and less and less like constitutional executives.

Webmaster's Commentary:

When Obama orders the first bombing in Syria, it will be an unspeakable act of war against a sovereign nation which has not attacked, or done anything to harm, the United States.

Syria will have its Ambassador to the UN complain, but any discussion of this in the Security Council will be null and void, because the US will veto any resolution to attempt to get the bombing to stop.

This will be be both a violation of US law, and a violation of international law.

What appears to be happening here, is that Obama is playing picador with Syria in order to cause Syria to invoke its mutual defense pact with Iran.

At that point, the US government will scream about Iran and Syria daring to fight back, and attack Iran, which has been, the P5+1 negotiations not withstanding, been the goal all along.

Israel may well coordinate some military activity with the US because it wants to see Tehran burning in flames, and "regime change" happening here.

But the two thousand pound gorilla, snoring on the Steinway here, is Russia. Numerous Russian political and military leaders have stated, over the past several years, that should Iran be attacked, Russia will come to its aid militarily.

So ultimately, all these military misadventures are headed toward a war with Russia that the US government and military most likely cannot win, because we do not have the manufacturing, the money, or troop strength to insure a positive outcome.

However, in watching the corporate presstitutes' attempts to "groom" a war weary American people for war, and more war does not seem to be working this time, and DC is beginning to realize that its propaganda is not working.

We the People must speak out peacefully and honestly: let's fix the problems here at home before we have the hubris to tell other countries how to run their lives. No more war; no more funding for war; and no more corporate-funded candidates who do the work their corporate masters demand of them, but conveniently forget their alleged constituents.

Because if this doesn't end soon, we will see the entire world engulfed in a nuclear war which could well obliterate life as we know it.

President Obama Over-Ruled His Commanders on Ground Troops

[Campaigns in Somalia and Yemen] have dragged on for years and involve far smaller and less-well-financed adversaries than the Islamic State. Although Obama promised a “steady, relentless effort” in a nationally televised address Wednesday night, he also said that “it will take time to eradicate a cancer like ISIL,” using a common acronym for the Islamic State.

Such a mission was not the U.S. military’s preferred option. Responding to a White House request for options to confront the Islamic State, Gen. Lloyd Austin, the top commander of U.S. forces in the Middle East, said that his best military advice was to send a modest contingent of American troops, principally Special Operations forces, to advise and assist Iraqi army units in fighting the militants, according to two U.S. military officials

Gaza and the Threat of World War

On 31 July, the National Defense Panel in Washington published a remarkable document that called for the United States to prepare to fight six major wars simultaneously. At the top of the list were Russia and China – nuclear powers.

In one sense, a war against Russia has already begun. While the world watched horrified as Israel assaulted Gaza, similar atrocities in eastern Ukraine were barely news. At the time of writing, two Ukrainian cities of Russian-speaking people – Donetsk and Luhansk – are under siege: their people and hospitals and schools blitzed by a regime in Kiev that came to power in a putsch led by neo-Nazis backed and paid for by the United States. The coup was the climax of what the Russian political observer Sergei Glaziev describes as a 20-year “grooming of Ukrainian Nazis aimed at Russia”. Actual fascism has risen again in Europe and not one European leader has spoken against it, perhaps because the rise of fascism across Europe is now a truth that dares not speak its name.

In the wake of non-stop propaganda from politicians of both parties, as well as a mainstream media desperate for ratings, the American public is finally terrified enough to support another war in the Middle East.

U.S. Fear/War Mongers Win This Round

The fear/war mongers got to the New York Times editorial board between May 23, 2013 and September 10, 2014. The Times and President Obama both gave in to the wrong people.

The American public doesn’t want to go to war unless there is something out there that frightens them.

This explains why all of our wars have been preceded by dire warnings of what will happen if we don’t militarily engage the enemy.
In President Obama’s Wednesday night speech, he repudiated his own caution and prudence by falling in line with those who think there is no fear out there that war cannot overcome.

The New York Times editorial board sonorously endorsed the President’s decision under a headline that informs the nation that the drums of war have had their effect: “The Attack on ISIS Expands to Syria,”

Obama takes hypocrisy to new high levels

In laying out his plans to degrade and ultimately destroy ISIS, President Obama said this: “America, our endless blessings bestow an enduring burden. But as Americans, we welcome our responsibility to lead. From Europe to Asia, from the far reaches of Africa to war-torn capitals of the Middle East, we stand for freedom, for justice, for dignity. These are values that have guided our nation since its founding.”

There’s an old English, somewhat vulgar, four-letter word which in my view sums up that statement. CRAP. (The dictionary definition of it is “excrement, rubbish, dirt, worthless nonsense.”)

An informed visitor from another planet who listened to Obama would scratch his head and say, “Has the president not heard about the occupied and oppressed Palestinians and their long struggle for freedom, justice and dignity?”

Syria's Reaction To US-Airstrikes Against ISIS+ISIL Terrorists

Sep 11 12:05

Barack, We Hardly Knew Ye

But here’s the giant flaw in Obama’s incendiary strategy. The Peshmerga can be counted upon to ferociously defend Kurdistan against ISIS encroachment, and the Shiite militias will doubtless accomplish the same in their own territories. But no one with a modicum of historical knowledge would think it sane to send them up into the Sunni lands of the Euphrates valley to mop-up after the American bombs, missiles and drones.

In short, once Washington is in full bombs away mode there will be no Free Syrian Army or reconstituted Iraqi army to finish the job. And the idea of meaningful boots on the ground from a regional coalition amongst the enmity ridden nation’s of Turkey, Iran, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE is too preposterous to even merit discussion.

President's ISIS speech fails to mention plan to protect homeland

U.S. President and Commander in Chief Barack Obama on Wednesday night held a prime-time televised address to the American people, which was admittedly designed to explain to the people that the President actually has a strategy for taking on the threat posed by the Islamic State (ISIS). That strategy entails air strikes and promises of coalition ground forces increasing in Iraq, as well as the possibility of the U.S. extending bombing missions to include Islamic State forces in Syria. But critics say he neglected to mention steps taken to prevent ISIS and other Muslim terrorist organizations from entering the United States.

Seeing Through The ISIS Script...No Cigar!

By L. Reichard White

September 11, 2014

Maybe it started with The Wizard of Oz, but it’s gotten completely out of hand. First there was al-Qaeda (“The Base“), apparently a name invented by the U.S. Justice Department to link a series of attacks to Osama bin Laden. But this newest ISIS franchise, conveniently billed as “too violent for al-Qaeda,” has taken off and its popularity makes “Breaking Bad” look like a Jr. High School class play. In rural Wyoming.

But the script needs some patching.

Once Again Obama Shows That He Is Clueless About What Is Going On In The Middle East

OBAMA AUTHORIZES STRIKES IN SYRIA, MORE TROOPS HEADED TO IRAQ

President Barack Obama outlined a new, expanded strategy to "degrade and ultimately destroy" the extremist group calling itself the Islamic State (also know as ISIS or ISIL) with a primetime speech Wednesday night. Speaking from the state floor of the White House, Obama vowed to "eradicate" the group.

"So tonight, with a new Iraqi government in place, and following consultations with allies abroad and Congress at home, I can announce that America will lead a broad coalition to roll back this terrorist threat," Obama said, according to a prepared version of his remarks. "Our objective is clear: we will degrade, and ultimately destroy, ISIL through a comprehensive and sustained counter-terrorism strategy."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Obama started out his speech making all the right statements about stopping ISIS, then stopped short of declaring open war.

This may be his realizing that more wars will work against incumbents in November with Democrats taking the brunt of the public outrage. Obama may be thinking of ramping up the war for real after the election.

But those who wanted the wars to start now are enraged and much of the corporate media is lambasting Obama for not going far enough. Some commenters are going as far as to try to re-write Obama's speech after the fact, reporting what they wanted him to say or trying to pout their own interpretations on it. Obama's "solution" to the crisis is to repeat the mistakes of Yemen and Somalia, maintain air strikes, and rely on others to send in the boots on the ground. None of this will work, and Yemen and Somalia are hardly successes to be emulated.

Still, I am relieved that for at least one more day we are not catapulted into a global conflagration which the US ultimately will lose.

Right now my main worry is that those who wanted the wars to crank up for real today will, in their frustration, find some means to provoke the situation, even without Obama's consent.

Obama's Speech to America: Stop ISIL by Funding ISIL

As many had expected as soon as the announcement was made that Barack Obama would make a speech on September 10 regarding his strategy against ISIS, the U.S. President has confirmed that he reserves the right to engage in airstrikes inside Syria.

The President outlined a four-point strategy that would, according to him, "degrade and ultimately destroy" ISIS. Obama stated that, "if left unchecked, ISIS could prove a threat across the middle eastern region" and possibly the American "homeland." Obama warned that ISIS terrorists originating from the United States and Europe could return home and engage in terrorist attacks on both American and European soil.

The President also announced his desire to create a "broad coalition" to "roll back the terrorist threat."...

As the United States and NATO gear up for the second attempt at drumming up popular support for airstrikes against Syria, the narrative of ISIS and justifications for invading the sovereign nation have become so convoluted in the mainstream media that a casual observer can scarcely keep track of the narrative spun by Western governments and their media mouthpieces. Unfortunately, that is part of the plan – to keep the general public so confused as to what is actually occurring overseas that, eventually, with their opinions formed for them on social media, television shows, and interspersed nightly news clips, they rely on the media to do their thinking for them. Their opinions are not their own but those of the world oligarchy.

Real men do not desire war and “average” people have nothing to gain from it.

New Iraqi Government Will Abide by U.S. Regional Goals

You see the disastrous U.S. policy in Iraq and their attempts to defeat the Assad government and the Syrian army were actually kind of shooting themselves in the knee, because it was based on false assumption and, incredibly, overestimation of oppositional forces and the underestimation of the interests of Russia and Iran and so on, especially in Syria. So now what they're trying to do: they're trying to utilize the conflict in Iraq with the Islamic State to expand and extend the war against, again, the government of al-Assad and the Syrian army, utilizing now the Islamic State.

Obama’s Islamic State strategy relies on allies with own reputations for brutality

Whatever strategy President Barack Obama lays out Wednesday to combat the Islamic State is sure to rely heavily on buy-in from rival Muslim powerhouses Saudi Arabia and Iran – one a Sunni Muslim kingdom with its own grim penchant for beheadings and the other a Shiite pariah state that’s executed thousands of dissidents.

Though hardly ideal, these partners are vital to any serious effort to weaken the Islamic State, according to foreign policy analysts who are tracking the U.S. response. Depending on hardline Islamist theocracies to help in the fight against an even more militant, self-proclaimed caliphate is among the many uncomfortable scenarios Obama must accept if he’s serious about wading deeper into Middle Eastern wars.

The 9/11 Triple Cross

Three major thesis are in competition concerning the culprit of the 9/11 attacks:

1. Islam Job: the official conclusion of the 9/11 Commission, blaming Muslim terrorists in general, and Osama bin Laden in particular;
2. Inside Job: the dominant thesis within the so-called 9/11 Truth movement, which accuses the American government, or a faction within the American Deep State;
3. Mossad Job: the rising alternative thesis within the community of truth seekers, which claim that the masterminds were a Zionist network close to the Israeli Likud.
There are variations on each thesis and middle grounds between them, but three camps can clearly be distinguished: Acknowledging this reality, by renouncing the bipolar vision of an information warfare between official liars and 9/11 truthers, and paying attention to the debate (or absence of the debate) between Inside-jobbers and Mossad-jobbers, is the first step toward a paradigm shift in “9/11ology”.

BEX ALERT - Seized ISIS laptop reportedly yields plans to make ricin, car bombs

Another set of files found on a laptop in an Islamic State hideout in Syria blah blah blah blah yadda yadda blah blah blah!!!

Webmaster's Commentary:

Oh my, yet another "Laptop of Death" (Reg. trademark The White House). The first Laptop of Death back in 2007 supposedly proved Iran was building a nuclear weapon, but experts concluded the documents on it were hoaxes created by someone with no real knowledge of nuclear technology and that laptop was ultimately traced back to Israel, not Iran.

But government follows the old adage that if at first you don't succeed, lie, lie again!

So here we have "Laptop of Death: The Sequel!"

Now, setting aside the past history of these laptops being hoaxes, stop and think for a moment. If you had documents that were that important and incriminating, would you leave them on a laptop or put them on a flash drive on your personal keychain, just so that you could not lose them?

Would you not keep such documents encrypted to prevent prying eyes in a situation where you know your operation has likely been infiltrated by foreign spies? Over at my website, we issued no less than 6 code challenges to the NSA over the last year, none of which were broken, proving that anyone with a little programming experience can invent new methods of encryption that the NSA cannot break. Do you really believe that anyone really planning terror leaves their plans in clear text on a laptop just waiting to be found? Because if you believe THAT one, I have some of Saddam's nuclear weapons to sell you!

Does Obama Plan To Announce Bombing Of Syria On Eve Of 9/11 Anniversary?

Brandon Turbeville
Activist Post

As the thirteenth anniversary of 9/11 draws closer so does the possibility that the United States and NATO will finally be able to realize their dream of direct airstrikes against the secular government of Bashar Al-Assad’s Syria.

After years of propaganda alleging Assad’s “brutality against his own people” and a recent volley of “ISIS is under the bed”-style hype, complete with beheadings, forced starvations, and other savagery, the American people remain utterly befuddled regarding the true nature of events taking place inside Syria, Iraq, and virtually every other country in the world, including their own. As a result, the buildup to a Western bombing campaign against Syria, while rejected by the general public only a year ago, will now likely move full steam ahead with the tacit support of the population.

The Covert Origins of ISIS

Now after Gaddafi was overthrown, the Libyan armories were looted, and massive quantities of weapons were sent by the Libyan rebels to Syria. The weapons, which included anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles were smuggled into Syria through Turkey, a NATO ally. The times of London reported on the arrival of the shipment on September 14th, 2012. (Secondary confirmation in this NYT article) This was just three days after Ambassador Chris Stevens was killed by the attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi. Chris Stevens had served as the U.S. government's liaison to the Libyan rebels since April of 2011.

Obama ready to strike at Islamic State militants in Syria, he tells policy experts

President Obama is prepared to use U.S. military airstrikes in Syria as part of an expanded campaign to defeat the Islamic State and does not believe he needs formal congressional approval to take that action, according to people who have spoken with the president in recent days.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The goal is war with Syria. That was the goal last year with the lie about Assad gassing his own Alawite supporters with Sarin gas right in front of the UN chemical weapons inspectors last year and it remains the goal today with the US-created ISIS and the staged beheading videos.

Under the Constitution, Obama does not have the authority to arbitrarily bomb Syria, especially since Assad does not want him there.

Obama does not have ther authority to bomb Syria under international law. U.N. Obama’s ISIS War: Profit for Military Contractors

“The military task has, in fact, been outsourced in Iraq,” analyst Steven Schooner, a professor at George Washington University Law School, told the Journal.

The Pentagon has converted Iraq with its violent sectarian rivalries into a lucrative business opportunity for a burgeoning mercenary and contractor industry that has blossomed in the wake of the September 11, 2001, terror attacks.

Obama’s ISIS war arrives at an opportune time for contractors. From 2008 to 2013, according to data provided to the Securities and Exchange Commission, the five largest U.S. defense contractors have experienced a 14 percent drop in employees. Lockheed Martin Corporation, the biggest defense contractor in the world, cut its workforce by 20 percent, International Business Times reported in August. American Imperialism and the Rise of Islamic Extremism in Syria and Iraq

While the ostensible target of the expanded war drive in the Middle East is now ISIS, behind the scenes the American ruling class is seeking to utilize the crisis surrounding ISIS to rejuvenate the “war on terror” and prepare action against the Assad government—to finish what it started. Assad has traditionally been a close ally of both Iran and Russia, the latter a target of an escalating war drive set off by the right-wing US and German backed coup in Ukraine.

ISIS is not, as the American government and mainstream media insist, an inexplicable “evil” force or a “cancer.” The success of ISIS and other Islamic extremist groups in Syria and Iraq is very much a product of American foreign policy in the Middle East.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is an ongoing fraud, to attempt to sell the American people into endless war in the Middle East.

I, for one, am not buying.

And no matter WHAT the President says in his national address tomorrow, there will be an horrific discrepancy between what he says...and what finally happens on the ground in Iraq and Syria.

Is the anti-ISIS Campaign Attempting to Renew War Against Assad?

So, as an update, it's now become quite clear, and it will becoming more clear in the next few days, that the U.S. is going to try to turn this anti-ISIS campaign--a campaign that President Obama seems physically very uncomfortable with, for some very fundamental reasons--they're going to try to turn this anti-ISIS military campaign into a renewed war against the Syrian government. And he has already telegraphed that it will be a long war. Long wars mean very expensive wars. He says it will be a three-year campaign. In short, under the guise of taking the war against ISIS, this air war against ISIS, deep into Syria, the U.S. is going to attempt to become the air force for those so-called moderate Syrian rebels, forces that actually don't exist, but become an air force for them as the United States and its NATO allies did for the jihadists in Libya three years ago.

US Officials: New War on ISIS Will Take Years

Even though US officials still don’t really have an idea of how they will actually defeat ISIS, they do seem to at least agree that wiping the group out in both Iraq and Syria is going to take a very long time.

President Obama had qualified the war as not a question of “weeks” early on, though officials are now saying that it’s going to be more like years, and likely not just a couple of those.

The Pentagon planners are envisioning a “minimum” commitment of 36 months, which in keeping with their usual grossly optimistic estimates, could mean far, far longer.

US forms ten-nation coalition to escalate war in Iraq, Syria

US officials announced Friday that a "core coalition" of 10 countries, nine NATO members plus Australia, had agreed on a joint program of action against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the fundamentalist group whose forces now control much of eastern Syria and western and northern Iraq.

US Secretary of State John Kerry and Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel met on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Wales with their counterparts from Australia, Britain, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Poland and Turkey.

According to Reuters, Kerry explained the program for fighting ISIS as follows: "We need to attack them in ways that prevent them from taking over territory, to bolster the Iraqi security forces and others in the region who are prepared to take them on, without committing troops of our own."

Kerry later reiterated the last point, saying, "Obviously, I think that's a red line for everybody here: no boots on the ground."

US ‘creating pretexts’ to attack Syria: Stephen Lendman

US President Barack Obama and some members of Congress are “creating pretexts” to target the government of President Bashar al-Assad, not the ISIL militant group, Stephen Lendman told Press TV on Saturday.

“There are endless pretexts that can be created,” Lendman stated. “It’s astonishing that the killing by any means of two individuals, Americans or anybody else, could be a pretext for going into war, but Obama will use whatever he can get,” Lendman added.

As in Libya, So in Syria: The Folly of Interventionism

Ulson Gunnar
Activist Post

The United States has been inching its way toward intervention in Syria since hostilities began in 2011. From the beginning, the US State Department admitted that terrorist armies were waging war against Damascus; but both the US government, its allies in Europe, and prominent media organizations across the West repeatedly claimed that the conflict was not an invasion by multinational terrorist organizations, but rather a “pro-democracy uprising.” Now, years into the conflict, the US is finally at the threshold of direct military intervention, announcing that it would begin flights over Syria to gather “intelligence.”

As in Libya…

Obama strategy to beat Islamic State likely to draw U.S. into years of conflict

The U.S.-led international strategy to combat the Islamic State that President Barack Obama sketched out Friday is likely to require years of thorny diplomacy and deeper U.S. military involvement in conflicts that he’s struggled to avoid.

Obama’s remarks at the end of a NATO summit in Wales offered the administration’s most in-depth explanation to date of how it plans to fight the Islamic State, the transnational extremist group that has seized control of an area as large as Jordan straddling the dividing line between Syria and Iraq.

The nascent strategy calls for working with European and Arab allies to confront the group not only in Iraq, where the U.S. is conducting airstrikes to assist government-aligned fighters, but also in Syria, where the United States has failed to fulfill its years-long promise to help build a moderate rebel force.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Let me tell you precisely what this drive is to "sell" the American people on a new invasion of Iraq, and Syria, and possibly, Libya.

This is not about "protecting American freedom and democracy" (what paltry bits of it are left to the American people, after the passage of the Homeland Security Act, the Patriot Act, and the NDAA).

This is about making sure that all the oil developed and sold in the region is only sold to those entities the US wishes to sell to, and only in the US dollar.

Although the guy got a lot wrong, Carl Marx was absolutely correct, when he stated, "All wars are economic". War is about obtaining geopolitical objective byS other means than negotiations.

The innumerable deaths, the maimings and tearing apart of innocent families, and the destruction of homes, schools, and infrastructure, means nothing, and have utterly no moral repercussions, to those who believe that war is the only way to ensure the economic viability of the US dollar.

IF the US government had spent just a fraction of the money they have spent on the wars toward a sustainable renewable energy which can drive a tank, or power a plane, none of these catastophes like the war in Iraq; the war in Afghanistan; and the war against Libya, would never, ever have become necessary.

So what is the US government's answer to these absolutely, catastrophically failed wars?!?

MORE WAR.

So, again, the price in blood and money of these endeavors, is all about private profit for US and multinational corporations.

That is why countless of our finest military personnel will wind up dead, or maimed for life: private corporate profit, period, end of discussion.

And of course, bankers love war, because all sides come to them for the loans at interest, with which to support these wars.

We are headed toward absolute disaster, by continuing these failed national policies.

But of course, the people creating these wars do not care: they have their bunkers, and it won't be their kids, getting killed and maimed for life.

And even if the draft comes back in this country (and remember: Charlie Rangel, last year, introduced draft legislation which will be coming for BOTH your sons and your daughters), the elite always, somehow, find a way out for their kids.

House Leader: Congress Could Force War on ISIS to Escalate

Hawkishness toward ISIS has become fashionable these days among US politicians, and even the ever-escalating war against ISIS in Iraq, and talks of expanding it into Syria, aren’t nearly enough for many Congressmen’s tastes.

Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R – CA), the House Majority Leader, pushed for a bigger war, and sooner, insisting in a new interview that “if the president won’t act, I think we have to take some action to move forward.”

Four different House committees are expected to hold hearings next week on ISIS, and Rep. McCarthy insisted that they needed to come up with a “concise foreign policy doctrine” for the war.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Memo to Representative McCarthy: it is easy for those of you in the bowels of power to talk about going to war, when it is not your sons or daughters who will be killed, or maimed for life, in a military action which is only, and solely, about the protection of private, corporate profit.

But this time, sir, Americans will not be so willing to ride the war train, because they know that the ultimate objective is NOT about preserving our "freedoms" or "democracy", but about whose currency is the reserve currency of the world.

The last 3 military misadventures undertaken by the US military have concluded in catastrophic disaster; Iraq is a mess; Libya is about to be overtaken by a caliphate; and Afghanistan is a brutal and bloody war of attrition, 13 years on, in which the US and NATO forces are losing spectacularly.

It appears that the American political class are pathologically incapable of resolving their differences with countries around the world, other than overthrowing regimes, and replacing them with tin-pot dictators, which ultimately get overthrown by the people of those countries, so losing those countries yet again.

Obama Administration (Re-)Starts Marketing Campaign For Bombing Syria

It is September 2014 and we are past the summer and past Labor Day. Time to roll out the (old) new product:

NY Times: Syria May Have Hidden Chemical Arms, U.S. Says
ABC News: US: Terrorist Could Get Syria Chemical Weapons
HuffPo: US Warns Terrorist Could Get Hold Of Syria's Chemical Weapons

United Nations Ambassador Samantha Power says the United States is concerned that the most dangerous terrorist groups could get a hold of chemical weapons if Syria is hiding any stockpiles.

We know of course that Syria has disposed of all its chemical weapons and that these were destroyed under the eyes of the OPCW. But Iraq had also disposed of all its WMD and that it has none left was in fact one reason why it could be and was easily attacked.

So is Obama is doubling down (again) on Syria? Hoping that the mystical "Free Syrian Army" (Jihadis in disguise) heavily supports by the U.S. will fight the Islamic State and the Syrian government?

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is NOT about our safety and security; a new war in the Middle East is NOT about protecting our "freedoms" (such paltry ones as we may have left, after the passage of the Homeland Security Act; the Patriot Act; and the NDAA).

This is solely about money; which country's currency is accepted to pay for the oil in the region, and who has access to the oil.

I do not want to see one more of our military get killed or maimed for life in the pursuit of private profit, and I would like to hope that no thinking person out there would want to see this happening either.

We have had the chance to observe just how "wonderfully" the American interventions in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya have gone; one would imagine that with that kind of a dreadful track record, the US government would be not inclined to try this again.

But here they are, desperate for yet another war, courtesy of a rapidly declining dollar and the wish to misdirect the American people from the true reasons for their economic misery.

Americans must join together, peacefully, and say, one massive NO to this rush for another war in the Middle East.

I am, frankly, very concerned about some kind of hideous false flag, courtesy, of this government on the anniversary of 9/11, to attempt to get the American people behind this coming war.

But I would strongly caution this government that the American people are hesitant in the extreme to believe anything this government tells them, because if a proven pattern of governmental lies, which has destroyed its credibility completely.

Photo Tweet Claims To Show Steven Sotloff Fighting With Syrian Mercenaries

A photo tweet posted by “AzoozF” with an IS logo purportedly shows Steven Sotloff manning a truck mounted machine gun.

It was posted on Wednesday. Arabic text accompanying the photo identifies the man as Sotloff.

The unverified – and in the supposed ISIS video, not shown – beheading of Sotloff is being used as a pretext to launch a war inside Syria against the Saudi and Qatari financed and U.S. military trained Islamic State, formerly ISIS.

“Leading lawmakers in charge of foreign policy reacted Tuesday to the reported beheading of American journalist Steven Sotloff by increasing their calls for more congressional involvement and oversight of President Obama’s war on ISIS,” Josh Rogin wrote for The Daily Beast on Tuesday.

Cameron seems to be considering breaking International law, not once but twice.

First he is considering arming the Kurds in Iraq without the permission from the Iraqi Government. Perhaps he thinks there really is a Kurdistan.

ISIS, ISIL or IS is armed, funded and trained by the USA. Their objective in Iraq is to totally destabalise the nation and weakening it by splitting it into three, part Kurd, part Iraqi and the remainder an Islamic Caliphate.

Secondly he’s openly suggesting that the UK should bomb parts of Syria without the permission of the Syrian Government , not any different in the slightest with Blair’s illegal invasion of Iraq. Cameron declares the Assad Government to be illegitimate.

That being the case in his mind, means that not a country in the world is safe from invasion or attack, Cameron can simply declare the Government to be illegitimate.

Israel Raises Alarm Over Islamist Militants On Its Frontiers

Israel's frontier with Syria, where militants have kidnapped 45 U.N. peacekeepers, has become a magnet for Islamist activity and Israel itself is now a target, the defense minister and security analysts said on Tuesday.

The Nusra Front, an al-Qaeda-linked group fighting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, has established a major presence in the region, analysts said, and is poised to carry out attacks across the barren borderlands where Syria, Israel and Jordan converge.

Iran meanwhile is seeking to expand its influence in the region via its support for Assad and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, all of which are allied against the Sunni insurgency confronting Assad, Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon said.

ISIL completely fabricated enemy by US: Former CIA contractor

Former CIA contractor Steven Kelley says that the ISIL terrorist group is a completely fabricated enemy created and funded by the United States.

“This is a completely fabricated enemy,” he said in a phone interview with Press TV from Anaheim, California on Thursday.

“The funding is completely from the United States and its allies and for people to think that this enemy is something that needs to be attacked in Syria or Iraq is a farce because obviously this is something that we create it, we control and only now it has become inconvenient for us to attack this group as a legitimate enemy,” Kelley added.

He made the remarks as US President Barack Obama is under pressure to seek congressional approval before expanding Washington’s military air campaign against ISIL targets from Iraq into neighboring Syria.

Most Americans Now Support Airstrikes In Syria, Poll Shows

A majority of Americans think the United States should expand its military campaign against insurgents in Iraq into Syria as well, a new HuffPost/YouGov poll shows.

According to the poll, 60 percent of Americans now support airstrikes against insurgents in Syria, while 20 percent are opposed. That level of support approached the 64 percent of Americans in the survey who said they support the current airstrike campaign against Iraq.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Either these polls were polling the criminally insane, or doing "push polling", where the poll conductors know percisely where they will get a specific outcome to a specific question asked.

NO THINKING PERSON I KNOW SUPPORTS A MILITARY INTERVENTION IN SYRIA OR IRAQ.

But this is not about ISIS: it is about to whom the oil in the Middle East is sold, and in what currency. Such a military misadventure, as happened in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya (countries which are imploding, thanks to US military interventions) is all about the money. This is why our kids in our military are going to get killed or maimed for life: corporate profit.

I am watching the feed of one of the usual corporate shill presstitutes this morning, and we are being given the verbal/visual IV drip of "terror, terror, terror", and are told that the UK has raised its terror threat level to "severe".

Fear leads to illogic, hated of "the other", and completely zaps our ability to think rationally. It is almost as though the US and UK are working in lock step to create new false flags, perhaps in both the US and the UK.

Please understand: I am praying this doesn't happen. But if it does, please think: who benefits?!? It certainly will not be the British or American people who will benefit, who are already deep into harm's way economically, except for the 1 percenters. It will be engineered to jinn up more and more wars, to protect the supremacy of the dollar and line the pockets of the military industrial complex in both countries.

US Surveillance Flights A Step Toward Expanding War Into Syria

Officials confirmed the move toward surveillance flights over ISIS targets in Syria, leaving somewhat open the question of when the US is going to start launching airstrikes against targets inside Syria, expanding the Iraq War across the border.

Yet it’s not really a question of if, but when, as the surveillance flights are clearly the first step toward such attacks. The primary question is how to start launching such attacks without Syrian coordination, since officials want to avoid the appearance of cooperating with Syria.

The questions abound about expanding the war into Syria and are mostly unanswered, with Gen. Dempsey pushing the attacks, and the US already giving targeting intel to Syria’s government for the ISIS war.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The real reason the US government is going into Syria, and back into Iraq, is that with ISIS controlling so much of the oil (at 2 to 3 million dollars of revenue per day), the oil is not being sold in US dollars, but other denominations.

This is about wrestling back economic control of the oil, and the currency in which is is sold.

Myth of ‘Limited’ US Airstrikes in Syria

The US is once again on the warpath against Syria after the beheading of US citizen James Foley was released on the internet a week ago.

His execution is being used to justify a mixed anti-terror and ‘humanitarian’ intervention in northeastern Syria. An information offensive has now been launched to peddle the myth of ‘limited’ strikes against Islamic State (IS) targets, but in all actuality, such a campaign is impossible to contain within the strict limits US authorities are promising.

Obama has already authorized surveillance flights over Syrian territory, showing that an attack appears to be imminent. A quick exercise in scenario forecasting illustrates how any US intervention in Syria will most certainly evolve from a ‘limited anti-terror operation’ to a massive military offensive, complete with proxy occupations and a full-scale outbreak of chaos throughout the entire country.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Gee, ya think?

The accusations came amid reports that Syrian rebels had seized control of the Syrian crossing with the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

Dutch Intellectuals Apologize to Putin for Lies on MH17, Syria, Ukraine...

Dear Mr. President Putin,

Please accept our apologies on behalf of a great many people here in the Netherlands for our Government and our Media. The facts concerning MH17 are twisted to defame you and your country.

We are powerless onlookers, as we witness how the Western Nations, led by the United States, accuse Russia of crimes they commit themselves more than anybody else. We reject the double standards that are used for Russia and the West. In our societies, sufficient evidence is required for a conviction. The way you and your Nation are convicted for 'crimes' without evidence, is ruthless and despicable.

You have saved us from a conflict in Syria that could have escalated into a World War. The mass killing of innocent Syrian civilians through gassing by ‘Al-?Qaeda’ terrorists, trained and armed by the US and paid for by Saudi Arabia, was blamed on Assad. In doing so, the West hoped public opinion would turn against Assad, paving the way for an attack on Syria.

Syria ready to cooperate with U.S. and others to stop Islamic State

The UN on Monday accused jihadists in Iraq of “ethnic and religious cleansing” as the most senior U.S. military officer warned they will soon threaten America and Europe.

As condemnation of the Islamic State (IS) jihadist group mounted, Syria — a pariah over its bloody crackdown on opponents of President Bashar al-Assad’s rule — said it was ready to work with the global community against “terrorism.”

UN human rights chief Navi Pillay said abuses by IS and affiliated groups in Iraq against non-Arab ethnic groups and non-Sunni Muslims involved targeted killings, forced conversions, abductions, trafficking, and destruction of holy and cultural sites.

“They are systematically targeting men, women and children based on their ethnic, religious or sectarian affiliation and are ruthlessly carrying out widespread ethnic and religious cleansing in the areas under their control,” Pillay said.

“Such persecution would amount to crimes against humanity,” she added, in a statement.

Webmaster's Commentary:

My goodness, what a difference a year makes!

Was it not just a year ago that John Kerry and President Obama were on the verge of ordering air strikes against Syria for allegedly hitting its own population with poison gas?!?

And the two people who talked them out of that foolishness were none other than Russia's Vlad Putin and Sergei Lavrov, now demonized today, because they protested the illegal replacement of the duly elected Ukrainian government in a US/EU/UCB-backed putsch.

In the Middle East there is a saying: the enemy of my enemy is my friend. And this is nowhere proven more true than the US's sudden turnabout regarding Syria and the IS.

Assad Policies Aided Rise of Islamic State Militant Group

The Islamic State, which metastasized from a group of militants seeking to overthrow the Syrian government into a marauding army gobbling up chunks of the Middle East, gained momentum early on from a calculated decision by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to go easy on it, according to people close to the regime.

NY Times BEX alert - Blamed for ISIS’ Rise in Syria, Assad Is Pushed to Escalate Fight

The extremist militants of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria have attacked Syrian troops with new ferocity in recent weeks, taking over three northeastern military bases, beheading scores of soldiers and seizing new territory.

The jihadist offensive has prompted some panicked supporters of the Syrian government to sharply criticize the leadership, questioning why it appeared to allow ISIS to build a base in the northern Syria province of Raqqa for the last year, while claiming the Syrian Army was fighting terrorism. As far back as June, as ISIS fighters swept back into Syria with American weapons looted in Iraq, Elia Samaan, a government adviser, exclaimed, “Where is our air force?”

US Begins Selling "Syria Intervention" Using ISIS Pretext

In a previous report titled, "Growing Mayhem - US Operating on Both Sides of Syrian-Iraqi Border," it was reported that (emphasis added):

Clearly, the answer, left for readers to arrive at on their own, is that these "successful" US airstrikes in Iraq must be carried over into Syria - where mission creep can do the rest, finally dislodging the Syrian government from power after an ongoing proxy war has failed to do so since 2011. After arming and aiding the Kurds in fighting ISIS in Iraq, the US will attempt to make a similar argument regarding the arming of terrorists in Syria and providing them direct US air support to defeat ISIS - and of course - Damascus.

In less than 24 hours, the New York Times would report in its article, "U.S. General Says Raiding Syria Is Key to Halting ISIS," that:

Fmr. Homeland Security Adviser: ‘Very, Very True’ ISIS May Have Crossed Border

Joshua Katz, an Army veteran and former CIA operations officer who served as Senior Policy Advisor to the Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee said it is “very, very, true” that ISIS may have crossed the southern border.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Obviously this will not go over very well with the pro-illegal immigration agenda, but what is being done here is the creation of a plausible means for the terrorists (nudge nudge wink wink) to have brought the bomb into the US. Personally, I think the weapon is already inside the US and has been for quite some time, either a bomb crafted from some of the Uranium Israel stole during the NUMEC scandal or the missing nuke from the Minot incident.

US Top Brass: Striking Syria Back on the Table

Defense Secretary Hagel and Gen. Dempsey indicate willingness to expand US war to Syria

Webmaster's Commentary:

Okay, Chuck and Marty, if you really feel that way, here are your rifles! Here are your parachutes. We ran out of the desert camo but here are a couple bright day-glo jumpsuits left over from the CIA torture centers. Watch your heads climbing into that transport plane, and we will call Assad and tell him you are on your way to kick his gluteus maximus all by yourself.

But We The People remember how the US Government has been trying to take over Syria using hired mercenaries for the last three years. We The People remember how you lied about Assad gassing his own people to trick us into war, which didn't work because we still remember how you lied about Saddam's nuclear weapons and stolen incubators to trick us into war with Iraq, and we remember how you lied about torpedoes in the Gulf of Tonkin to trick us into war with Vietnam, and how you lied to us about the Lusitania not carrying weapons to trick us into WW1, and how you lied about a Spanish mine in Havana harbor sinking the USS Maine to trick us into war with Spain ... need I go on?

So you will forgive us if we sit this next war for conquest and enrichment out and keep our children safe at home. But feel free to attack Assad all by yourself, and we will watch safely from home, as you in the government have always done when it was our children being killed and crippled in wars ultimately fought for the bankers!

NATO Using Foley and ISIS As A Pretext For Bombing Syria - Ultimate Target Is Russia

The Islamic State and the war in Syria is back on the front pages of the news once again on the heels of the alleged killing of James Mark Foley, an American journalist working in Syria. The outrage surrounding the alleged beheading of Foley, while justifiable if it is real, is already being used for propaganda purposes, namely in order to build up American support for an aerial bombing campaign against the Syrian government.

THE ISIS CONSPIRACY EXPLAINED!

The ISIS "uprising" is a US-Israel engineered plot using provocateurs, mercenaries, "jihadist" fanatics, and NGO's. The Axis of Evil and its various puppets seek to smash any independent Middle Eastern state that refuses to bow down to Greater Israel.

A senior US general expains that we’re learning to fight 4GWs [Fourth Generation Warfare] , but slowly

Summary: We’ve slowed the intensity of our efforts in the Long War, following failures in Iraq and Afghanistan. So the momentum shifts to our foes, as the fires we’ve sparked across the Middle East spread. Success in the next phase depends on what our military leaders have learned from their failures.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Basically it comes down to the US being fully prepared to fight a war a certain way, only to meet an enemy that is outside the box.

John McCain, Conductor of the "Arab Spring" and the Caliph

Everyone has noticed the contradiction of those who recently characterized the Islamic Emirate as "freedom fighters" in Syria and who are indignant today faced with its abuses in Iraq. But if that speech is incoherent in itself, it makes perfect sense in the strategic plan: the same individuals were to be presented as allies yesterday and must be as enemies today, even if they are still on orders from Washington. Thierry Meyssan reveals below US policy through the particular case of Senator John McCain, conductor of the "Arab Spring" and longtime partner of Caliph Ibrahim.

McCain's ISIS Buddies Now Better Armed Than The Kurds: Thanks, America!

In a textbook example of The Law of Unintended Consequences, the Kurdish Peshmerga fighters are complaining that their (mainly) Warsaw Pact-era weaponry is no match for the more modern tech being wielded by Sen. John McCain's ISIS chums.

Ed Gein in a Skin Suit with Louboutins

Now we see an ominous glimpse of the agenda of the 1%. Those who are directly responsible for world conditions at this time. ISIS was created by western and Israeli intelligence services to act as a foil and a stimulus for reckless adventurism, manifesting as a whole lot of murder and mayhem against people without the weaponry to defend themselves. They are the new boogeyman to replace Al Qaeda, who is getting long in the tooth and they are the ones who are going to be blamed for the next major league false flag event soon to take place in the US or some similarly strategic location.

Pentagon: Islamic State Terrorist Will Regroup

FLASHBACK - Fighting Al Qaeda by Supporting Al Qaeda in Syria: The Obama Administration is a “State Sponsor of Terrorism”

A major transition in US counter-terrorism doctrine is unfolding.

While Barack Obama, following in the footsteps of George W. Bush, remains firmly committed to waging a “Global War on Terrorism” (GWOT), his administration is now openly supporting selected rebel units in Syria which are part of the Al Qaeda network.

Known and documented, Al Qaeda is a creation of the CIA, which has covertly supported the “Islamic Terror Network” since the heyday of the Soviet Afghan war.

While Al Qaeda is a US sponsored “intelligence asset”, a “New Normal” has been established.

An Al Qaeda affiliated organization, namely Syria’s Al Nusrah, is being supported “overtly” by the US President, rather than “covertly” by the CIA.

UN: death toll from Syrian civil war tops 191,000

The death toll from three years of Syria's civil war has risen to more than 191,000 people, the United Nations reported Friday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Except that this is not a civil war but one in an endless series of covert US overthrows, such as the one started in Kiev last January that is still thrashing about. Since the end of WW2, the US Government has tried to covertly overthrow the governments of some 50 countries succeeding about half the time. Successes include Iran in 1953 and Chile in 1973. Failures include Iran in 2009 and arguably, Ukraine in 2014.

US general says raiding Syria is key to halting ISIS

"This is an organization that has an apocalyptic end-of-days strategic vision that will eventually have to be defeated," said the chairman, General Martin E Dempsey, in his most expansive public remarks on the crisis since American airstrikes began in Iraq. "Can they be defeated without addressing that part of the organization that resides in Syria? The answer is no."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Okay, Marty, if you really feel that way, here's your rifle! Here's your parachute. Watch your head climbing into that transport plane, and we will call Assad and tell him you are on your way to kick his gluteus maximus all by yourself.

US Operating on Both Sides of Syrian-Iraqi Border – Providing Cover for Terrorists in Syria; Fighting ISIS in Iraq

US may attempt to arm and provide air cover for terrorists in Syria after claiming success in fighting ISIS in Iraq using Kurds.
As predicted, the “sudden” appearance of the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq (ISIS) in northern Iraq weeks ago, has created the rhetorical framework within which the United States and its regional partners will attempt to militarily intervene in both Iraq and Syria.

Some Commanders of Insurgency in Iraq Retreat to Syria

U.S. airstrikes have driven some ground commanders of the Sunni radical group Islamic State from northern Iraq across the border into Syria, Iraqi officials say.

The retreat into eastern Syria, where Islamic State has built up an operational base amid the chaos of civil war over the past few years, doesn't reflect a broader exodus by the group, which continues to solidify its grip on Iraqi territory under its control,...
