The 6 stages of a government's life

I'm probably the only WRH reader who lived several years under Capitalism, Fascism, Socialism and Communism alike. I gained an insight I decided to share with you so that you don't have to gain it again. Here's the life cycle of ANY government, regardless of its 'ism':

1. Government is created by a group; beyond a consensus, gov't has 10% power
2. Government grows, economy sags under its increasing cost: 40% power
3. Government starts wars (murder + plunder abroad) to "fix" the sag: 70% power
4. Due to wars, government's power grows beyond citizen's to 100% power
5. Government starts genocide (murder + plunder at home), still trying to fix the sag
6. End.

Government improvement in 2 easy steps

Are you fed up by the daily reports of government abuses? Here's a possible solution: let's add to the laws that from now only dead people may hold public office. (No living representants of any kind allowed, either.)

It's a bottom line initiative. Dead politicians don't take campaign bribes, they don't send your kids to wars, they don't cost much in taxes nor they enact laws like the Patriot Act. A 400% improvement on the main issues over any living representative. Try this with the Political Reform Act! If a politico is unable to quit his cushy DC post, he might try to outsmart the citizenry by shooting himself dead. If he shoots as well as he governed, he will miss anyway. If he shoots better - well, I guess we'll have to put up with him not working for us again.

To end piracy and the Depression: make intellectual property a global currency

"Define intellectual content as a global currency, joining the dollar, the euro, etc. Anyone can create intellectual content on Earth in some function or other. That's billions of new jobs with income! As long as anyone's intellectual creation has demand, it has a value, and its creator/s have a business. Imagine letting billions of flowers bloom... makes Mao look like a beginner."
