Final Vote Set on Silverstein’s Towers at Ground Zero

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is expected to convene Thursday to formally ratify a plan that would allow the developer Larry A. Silverstein to build two office towers at ground zero with up to $1.6 billion in public financing and subsidies, according to Port Authority and real estate executives.

Webmaster's Commentary:

(Reader comment) While there is too much noise has been made over the Islamic Center in NY,nothing has been said about the real Ground Zero, where Silversein is ready to put his new buildings right where these noise makers called a ' ' hallowed place '.

Silverstein collected his insurance money on the buildings, after a short time lease before 9/11, but again no coverage of him trying to use over a billion dollar of State's public funds to rebuild his towers.

Now where is Silverstein sensitivity to victims of 9/11..?
