"It is fair to say there are individuals in the United States who ascribe to al-Qaeda-type beliefs," [Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet] Napolitano said in an interview with Bloomberg Television today. "And so it makes information-sharing, it makes effective law enforcement and it makes the shared responsibility of law enforcement ever so important."
"The financial institutions of this country are part of our bedrock infrastructure," she said. "They need to be protected. We need to be able to protect them."
The threat of attack "is always with us," Napolitano said today. Benchmark stock indexes trimmed gains after her comments.
So the next time the dollar and/or the stock market does the "grand plungee" DHS is going to try to pin it on.......Al Qaeda?!?!?!?!?!?
Janet, you couldn't possibly make any less sense if had you tried.
The people of this country are not stupid, and understand what has befallen this country, courtesy of the Fed printing and printing dollars, with absolutely nothing to back them up.
When and if the dollar takes a nosedive, people will know that it has nothing to do with "Al Qaeda", and everything to do with irresponsible monetary and financial decisions made by the government and the Fed.
