Official Vote Tally on Ohio’s Pot Issue Deemed "Statistically Impossible"

The “stolen election” controversy over this month’s officially defeated Ohio pot legalization referendum has gone to a new level.

“The results are not only impossible but unfathomable,” stated Ron Baiman, Assistant Professor of Graduate Business Administration at Benedictine University, where he teaches economics and statistics.

The Columbus Free Press asked Baiman to calculate the odds of the official vote count of Ohio’s Issue 3, to legalize marijuana, being correct – compared to the tracking polls charting voter preference leading up to this year’s November election. The Free Press supplied Baiman with poll results taken prior to the election by noted pollster Jon Zogby.

The polls leading into the November 3 vote showed the referendum passing. But the official results claim it lost by 2:1.

BEX ALERT - Obama calls GOP rhetoric on Syrian refugees a ‘potent recruitment tool for ISIL’

President Obama on Wednesday angrily accused Republicans of feeding into the Islamic State's strategy of casting the United States as waging war on Muslims, saying the GOP's rhetoric has become the most "potent recruitment tool" for the militant group.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Obama is flooding the nation with "instant Democrats" who, although not legally allowed to vote, will do so everywhere that proof of citizenship is not required to vote. The refugees and illegals, grateful to the President who let them in, will be a potent force to swing the election to Hillary next year.

Trump: Obama sending refugees to Republican states

The Obama administration is deliberately sending Syrian refugees to states led by Republican governors, Donald Trump alleged Tuesday.

Trump, who was speaking to conservative radio host Laura Ingraham, said of the refugees, “They send them to the Republicans, not to the Democrats, you know because they know the problem … why would we want to bother the Democrats?”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Donald is missing the big picture here. Even though they are not legally allowed to vote, all these refugees and illegal immigrants will vote in next year's elections (nobody is allowed to check for citizenship because it is un-politically correct) and out of gratitude to Obama who let them into the US they will vote Democrat, meaning they will all be voting for Hillary!

Accused Illegal Voter Was “Confused” Says Attorney

The Tarrant County District Attorney and the Texas Attorney General say the indictment of a Grand Prairie woman proves there are non-citizens voting in U-S elections. However, it appears the woman is a member of their own party.

The attorney for Rosa Ortega says she has legally been in the country for more than a dozen years.

Domingo Garcia says when Ortega had a child she applied for assistance under the Women Infants and Children program. That’s when Garcia says she was handed a voter registration form and told to fill it out. Garcia says Ortega was confused by it all and if she had known better, she would never have voted.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Why was she handed a voter registration card in the first place?

Voting machine memory stick drama in Georgia sparks scandal, probe

The US state of Georgia is delving into a claim that a misplaced electronic ballot box may have swung a key vote.

On November 3, in the county of DeKalb just east of Atlanta, LaVista Hills held a vote on whether to become a city. In a closely run race, the motion was defeated by 136 votes – less than one per cent of the electorate.

Leonard Piazza, who works in the county's office of voter registration and elections, claims a mislaid memory stick is proof the count was bungled – or worse, rigged.

Democratic Party rescinds support for democracy, claims Hillary must be president because that's what the people in charge want

It's official: the Democratic Party has shed any political reference to its very name. The party might as well rename itself the "Dictator Party."

As reported by the Daily Mail Online, the party's female hierarchy has decided that regardless of who is running for the party's 2016 presidential nomination, it is Hillary Clinton's for the taking.

The paper noted:

The Democratic National Committee is "clearing a path" for Hillary Clinton to be its presidential nominee because its upper power echelons are populated with women, according to a female committee member who was in Las Vegas for [the first Democratic] primary debate.

Democracy, it seems, is dead in the democracy party.

Some people can really only take so much of the political process before they give up on the system entirely. This is especially true in modern times, where every candidate is pro-war and pro-establishment. FLASHBACK - Bachmann Rigged Iowa Poll by Buying “At Least” 4000 Votes

AFP reported that “It has been criticized as playing too heavily in favor of candidates that are well financed, since their campaigns can buy the $30 tickets for their supporters to attend and presumably vote in their favor.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

A reminder that Iowa polls are easy to rig, calling into doubt the claim that Trump is sliding. Just as happened with Ron Paul in 2011, we may be seeing cheating in action. One more reason to doubt the accuracy and fairness of the Iowa poll is ...

Alabama Makes Photo IDs Mandatory for Voting, Then Shutters DMV Offices in Black Counties

Some observers say that Alabama’s move to close dozens of drivers license offices is a discriminatory move that could trigger a civil rights probe.

Here’s why: in 2011 lawmakers approved a voter ID law requiring a government-issued ID to vote, and the 31 offices the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency set for closing—which the agency said was due to the $11 million cut in the new General Fund appropriation—will take a disproportionate hit on counties that are majority African-American.

Columnist John Archibald writes that “Alabama just took a giant step backward.”

“Every single county in which blacks make up more than 75 percent of registered voters will see their driver license office closed. Every one,” he continues, writing that the state “might as well just send an invitation to the Justice Department.”

How AmericanElections Became a Criminal Enterprise

We have grown complacent about our elections. We like to think that someone is in charge of the orderly ritual of designing, allotting, and counting the ballots. There are officials whose job it is to keep the roll of voters and supervise the count. There are bound to be a few errors and a few lost votes, but on the whole, our elections are well-conducted and honest.

In this essay, I hope to convince you that the entire electoral process is in grave danger, has been insidiously subverted, and will continue to erode unless we intervene. We can hope, but hope is not enough.

This is a call to action!

Undercover video: Clinton campaign worker caught breaking election law by registering Nevada Hispanics to vote with 'meme' photo of Trump that reads: 'THIS IS MY RESTING B**CH FACE'

A Hillary Clinton campaign worker has been caught on film apparently committing a felony by advising Las Vegas Hispanics how to vote while he is helping them register.

Hidden camera footage shows Henry Engelstein, identified as a campaign 'fellow,' reeling in Spanish-speaking Nevadans on a Las Vegas street with a comical picture of Donald Trump on his smartphone.

'THIS IS MY RESTING B**CH FACE,' the photo's caption reads, meme-style.

'Un payaso muy grande, si!' Engelstein tells passers-by. ('Yes! A giant clown!') In the video, shown to exclusively by the conservative group Project Veritas Action, he boasts that Latinos' anger against the billionaire Republican front-runner is ample motivation for them to register as voters.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In the Blueprint for the New America, we propose a rule that if any campaign laws are broken, the candidate is immediately disqualified to hold public office, on the theory that if he or she cannot get their own staff to comply with the law, they are by default incompetent to run a city, county, state, or nation.

Presidential Elections Used to Be More Colorful

Looking over the historical results of U.S. presidential elections, I keep coming back to the same conclusion: the political landscape we’ve been living in for the past few decades is really not normal. -- The last time a third party won an electoral vote was in 1968. For the almost 200 years prior to that, 3-way elections occurred regularly, about once every five election cycles. Here are the election maps laid out side-by-side. Notice how close the last six elections have been by historical standards. Hard to imagine how any candidate today could flip enough voters from the other party to have a victory like Reagan in 1984.

Thumpathumpthump, Here Come Trump: Pols Have Knickers in Knot

Posted on September 24, 2015 by Fred Reed

What is it that puzzles New York about Trump’s enormous appeal? . He does what so many of us desperately want. He takes no guff from the loathsome talking heads who have never baited a hook or worried about a mortgage payment or been bankrupted by the confluence of Wall Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. He doesn’t whimper and wriggle and apologize like a puppy who has wet the rug after saying something that upsets the priss spigots. He says, perhaps in different words, what so many want to say. “Stick it where the sun don’t shine.”

It’s wonderful. The Beltway bastards just don’t know what to do about it.

Study Warns of Disastrous 2016 US Election ‘Meltdown’

A new report by the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU Law School says that dozens of states face the prospects of voter machine breakdowns similar to the ones that happened in Florida during the 2000 election.

“The problem of aging and outdated voting equipment is national and widespread,” the Brennan Center report concluded in a comprehensive look that found the vast majority of voting machines used across America predate the first iPhone. Most machines bought between ten or 15 years ago “were designed and engineered in the 1990s,” wrote Dana Chisnell, director of the Center for Civic Design and MIT scientist. “We ignore it at our collective peril. A majority of jurisdictions in 2016 will be using machines at or near the end of their projected lifespans.”

Hillary Clinton Staffer in Hiding as Authorities Investigate Her Work on the Campaign

Where is Christina Gupana?

The Nevada immigration attorney and Hillary Clinton campaign fellow has gone into hiding since she was captured in a James O’Keefe video apparently conspiring to violate election laws. Gupana told who she thought were Hillary Clinton campaign staffers and volunteers to “Do whatever you can. Whatever you can get away with, just do it, until you get kicked out, like, totally.” Gupana seemed to know that none of these volunteers were licensed to register voters by a county clerk, as required by law in Nevada.

Breitbart News reported Friday that Nevada election officials are now investigating the Hillary Clinton campaign to determine if Gupana or other campaign staffers broke the law.

So what has Gupana been up to?

During every election cycle, politicians, the media, and citizens alike sing the praises of democracy and the power of the “vote.” The ritual is often lauded as the pinnacle of human achievement — assurance that politicians carry out the people’s wishes. In Kansas, however, a statistician from Wichita State University has filed an open records lawsuit to investigate what she worries may be evidence of voter fraud. Tellingly, since she initially filed the suit in April, authorities have attempted to block her request for voter records.

Virginia Finally Drops America's 'Worst Voting Machines'

IF YOU VOTED in a Virginia election any time between 2003 and April of this year, your vote was at serious risk of being compromised by hackers.

That’s the assessment reached by Virginia’s board of elections, which recently decertified some 3,000 WINVote touchscreen voting machines after learning about security problems with the systems, including a poorly secured Wi-Fi feature for tallying votes.

The problems with the machines are so severe that Jeremy Epstein, a computer scientist with SRI International who tried for years to get them banned, called them the worst voting machines in the country. If the WINVote systems weren’t hacked in a past election, he noted in a recent blog post and during a presentation last week at the USENIX security conference, “it was only because no one tried.”

Flashback: Voting Machines Can Be Hacked With $26 and an 8th Grade Education

Did you know that for just $26 and an 8th-grade education you can hack a voting machine? This has actually been common knowledge for years, since a study at the Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois developed a hack to manipulate voting machines just before the 2012 elections.

The researchers who developed the hack were actually able to hijack a Diebold Accuvote TS electronic voting machine, one of the most popular voting systems at the time.

Two of the lead researchers in the study were able to demonstrate a number of different ways that voting machines could be hacked. They used a $1.29 microprocessor and a circuit board that costs about $8, along with a $15 remote control.

They demonstrated that the cheap hack worked from over a half-mile away.

Internet search engines may be influencing elections

Biased search results increased the number of undecided voters choosing the favored candidate by 48% compared with a control group that saw an equal mix of both candidates throughout the list. Very few subjects noticed they were being manipulated, but those who did were actually more likely to vote in line with the biased results. “We expect the search engine to be making wise choices,” Epstein says. “What they’re saying is, ‘Well yes, I see the bias and that’s telling me … the search engine is doing its job.’”

“In a two-person race, a candidate can only count on getting half of the uncommitted votes, which is worthless. With the help of biased search rankings, a candidate might be able to get 90% of the uncommitted votes [in select demographics],” Epstein explains.

Presumably Google isn’t intentionally tweaking its algorithms to favor certain presidential candidates, but Epstein says it would extremely difficult to tell if it were.

For presidential candidates, 'tis the season of the oppo dump. Inevitably, the candidates wind up having to defend things they said or did in years past that from today's standpoint seem anachronistic or even appalling.

So it was with Jeb Bush, who turns out to have written a 1995 book called Profiles In Character that lamented the decline of public shaming as a tool of policymaking.

Hillary's plans to stuff the ballot box

Since Hillary won’t have the youthful exuberance that propelled Obama to his unlikely double victory, she plans to build a whole new electorate out of people who didn’t vote for Obama. That’s the gist of her speech in Houston last week, which her friends at MSNBC called a “far-reaching vision for expanding access to the ballot box.”

Who are the new voters to whom Hillary wants to give “access to the ballot box”? They include felons and non-citizens, along with anyone who can’t prove identity, citizenship, or residence within the voting precinct.

She also plans to harvest millions of new votes by expanding the dangerous practices of same-day registration and early voting, which enable Democrats to badger, berate, bribe, or bamboozle reluctant low-information voters to the polls. Democratic Party and union workers can identify reluctant voters and harass them until the party worker verifies that they have actually cast their ballot.

It was a thwacking, name-checking jeremiad that took for granted the obvious fact that the Republican party, and the conservative movement that is its only real energizing force, has embarked on a systematic campaign to disenfranchise those voters unlikely to vote for Republican candidates, and that the campaign has been abetted at the highest levels of conservative politics which, in this case, happen to include the Supreme Court of the United States. She talked about how Rick Perry had worked to restrict the franchise in Texas, and how Scott Walker had done so in Wisconsin. Then, she said this.

"And in Florida, when Jeb Bush was governor, state officials conducted a deeply flawed purge of voters before the presidential election of 2000."

Yeah, she went there.

Hillary Clinton Calls for Automatic Voter Registration

Hillary Clinton proposed Thursday that Americans be automatically registered to vote when they turn 18, unless they opt out, and that states expand opportunities for early voting—saying these moves will make it easier for young people and minorities to cast ballots.

Why the Right to Vote in the United States is a Fraud

Next year, many Americans will be preparing themselves to go vote at the next presidential election, which is scheduled for November 8, 2016. If you are planning to go vote during that time, you should read this article before doing so.

The right to vote is not what you think it is. When you vote, you are voting for a foreign candidate that represents a foreign corporation called the United States of America, Incorporated. Do you need proof of this? Read further and I will show you all the proof you need.

Proof That the United States of America (Minor) is a Foreign Corporation

If you want proof that the United States of America is a corporation, look at line 15 and 15(A) in title 28 U.S. Code § 3002 and you should see this sentence, ““United States” means— (A) a Federal corporation.”

If Hillary Clinton was running a real campaign, today would be a fascinating moment for the presumptive nominee. She’s in South Carolina where she needs to make amends with black voters who not only rejected her in 2008 but rebuked her and her husband for their presumptuous approach. On the question of whether Clinton can run and win a return to the White House as an unabashed liberal, enthusiasm of black voters is a paramount consideration. But alas, she is not running a real campaign. She is instead running something more akin to a legal defense or corporate PR after an oil spill.

The Scottish National party would be prepared to push ahead with a second independence referendum without David Cameron’s permission if the prime minister refuses any future demand to hold one, a senior party source in Westminster has indicated.

The party would be prepared to try to bypass the prime minister and hold an indicative ballot of the Scottish people if it believes it has a political mandate for a referendum but Westminster refuses to allow one.

The Hegelian Dialectic is a philosophical approach that in principle explains how human beings progress toward a better and more egalitarian condition but in practice provides the power elite with a strategy for controlling society.

Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (August 27, 1770 -- November 14, 1831) was among the most consequential philosophers of the Age of Enlightenment. His was heavily influenced by Plato, whose social ideal was rule by an elite composed of philosopher-kings. Though Hegel may not have intended to provide a Platonic methodology for the modern-day control of the many by the few, that is how his insights have been used.

Scott Walker Targets Jeb Bush

Scott Walker Targets Jeb Bush in South Carolina Speech
“From our family, we didn’t inherit fame or fortune, what we inherited was the belief that if you work hard and you play by the rules you can do and be anything you want,” he said.
...In South Carolina, he offered a subtle corrective, noting that he is headed to Israel later today and assuring the audience — which was full of military service-members and their families — that he cares about national security as much as anyone.

Walker said he prefers to use the term “safety,” rather than national security.
“National security is something you read about in the newspaper; safety is something you feel,” he said. “It’s something that — even though as a governor I don’t deal with it day in and day out — it has increasingly become one of the most important things for me to focus in on, because when I think about safety, I think about my own children and I think about yours as well.”

New Missouri Mayor Barred from Entering Office; Voter Fraud Alleged

McCray is in trouble with the Board because of allegations that her election was marred by voter fraud. The new mayor won the April 7 election with 38 votes to her main opponent’s 18. The city of Kinloch has fewer than 300 residents and, as the Post-Dispatch noted, it is “marked by pilfered coffers, shady land deals and increasingly bitter fights over the last remnants of political power.”

More details on the alleged fraud, via the Post-Dispatch:

According to documents obtained… the city has raised concerns to the St. Louis County Board of Elections and the Missouri Secretary of State about people being registered to vote in Kinloch who no longer live there. On April 2, the city gave the Election Board a list of 27 names of people who it claimed were illegally registered; many of those individual addresses were listed at city-owned apartments.

Jeb Bush’s Team Plots Vast Effort to Win Florida

The plan, code-named “Homeland Security,” seeks to try to neutralize two potentially grave but homegrown threats to Mr. Bush’s long-anticipated run for president: the likely challenge from a charismatic young Republican senator from Miami, Marco Rubio, who is expected to seek the Republican nomination himself, and a demographic drift within Florida that could doom Mr. Bush there in a fall campaign against a Democrat.

Republicans crow over Benjamin Netanyahu’s victory

Israeli Prime minister and Republicans will continue drumbeat of criticism of nuclear talks with Iran

Congressional Republicans are confident Benjamin Netanyahu’s return as Israeli prime minister will help them ratchet up pressure on President Barack Obama to abandon his current round of nuclear weapons talks with Iran.

Netanyahu has been an outspoken critic of Obama’s plans to deal with Tehran, including in a controversial address to Congress earlier this month. For Republicans hoping to influence the deal, or scuttle it entirely, renewed opposition from the leader of the U.S.’s closest ally in the Middle East is exactly the kind of ideological support they’re looking for.

Mar 19 01:06

As Netanyahu no longer talks peace, Israel is set for paralysis

On Monday – the day before his election victory - he abandoned his conciliatory words and went back to being against a Palestinian state. “Anyone who is going to establish a Palestinian state, anyone who is going to evacuate territories today, is simply giving a base for attacks to the radical Islam against Israel,” he said. “This is the true reality that was created here in the last few years.”

So Mr Netanyahu has jumped from being against the two-state solution, to being in favour, to being against it once again. His current position forces him once again to bang his head against stubborn demographic reality: if there is one state west of the Jordan, it must eventually be an Arab state.
Moreover, ordinary Israelis can never forget that whenever they have relinquished territory in the past – by leaving south Lebanon in 2000, for example, or evacuating settlers from the Gaza Strip in 2005 – nothing has been gained save for barrages of rockets launched by Hizbollah and Hamas.

Obama calls for mandatory voting in U.S.

President Obama, whose party was trounced in last year’s midterm election due to poor turnout among Democrats, endorsed the idea of mandatory voting Wednesday.

“It would be transformative if everybody voted,” Mr. Obama said during a town-hall event in Cleveland. “That would counteract [campaign] money more than anything. If everybody voted, then it would completely change the political map in this country.”

Mr. Obama raised the subject during a discussion of curbing the influence of campaign donations in U.S. elections. The president said he had never discussed the idea publicly before, but said Australia and some other countries have compulsory voting.
