American voters say US elections are rigged to favor incumbents

A majority of Americans believe that incumbents almost always get re-elected “because the election rules are rigged to benefit Members of Congress,” according to a survey released Sunday.

Some 68 percent of respondents in the new Rasmussen survey say the high retention rate in Congress is because lawmakers are able to exploit favorable election rules, not because they do a good job representing their constituents.

And 48 percent of likely voters believe that American elections are not fair to voters — the highest percentage since 2004. By contrast, 39 percent of voters say elections are fair. Of the likely voters surveyed, 14 percent say they’re not sure.

In 2012, 90 percent of House members and 91 percent of senators who sought reelection were successful. During the Tea Party wave in 2010, 85 percent of House members and 84 percent of senators seeking reelection still won their seats.

McDaniel challenges Harrison County, others that won't disclose poll books

Defeated U.S. Senate candidate Chris McDaniel is forging ahead with plans to examine every poll book in Mississippi for evidence that would overturn his loss to Sen. Thad Cochran.

Several counties, including Harrison, have refused to hand over poll books because they contain voters' personal information. McDaniel's camp is legally challenging them to have circuit clerks comply with the law.

Harrison County attorney Tim Holleman said the law is contradictory, with different statutes requiring both full disclosure of poll books and protection of personal data.

At a hearing Friday morning, Harrison County Judge Roger R. Clark ruled Harrison County Circuit Clerk Gayle Parker must hand over the books and McDaniel must pay for the personal information to be redacted.

Withdrawing Political Legitimacy

We hear these words today: tipping point. We hear a similar phrase: inflection point. These are two names for the same process.

There are two versions of this process. One points to a lift-off. The other points to a crash.

I am no fan of revolution. I understand Engels' point: nothing is more centralizing than a revolution.

You want bumper sticker slogans? I've got them. "Reform, not revolution." "De-fund, don't capture." "Withdraw Washington's legitimacy."

This is why we are not headed for a revolution. We are headed toward secession.

The heart of this decentralized, unorganized secession movement is this: the withdrawal of political legitimacy, voter by voter.

It is Time to Nullify the ‘Motor Voter’ Laws on Local and State Levels to Block Non Citizens from Voting..

Securing our Elections is just as important as securing our national borders. Both are important to preserving our sovereignty as a nation. This is why the people must take back our elections from the political machine that corrupts the vote.

Dick Cheney Has His First Good Idea

You might know Dick Cheney as the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks and the disinformation about Weapons of Mass Destruction in the lead up to the Iraq War. But those weren't his only ideas... Other ideas include shooting that guy while duck hunting and Haliburton's selling nuclear technology to Iran. In fact Haliburton does not care whatsoever about which countries the US bans trades with. They'll trade anyway with them. But Dick Cheney has only just recently had his best idea yet..and he's only on his second heart:

Hillary Clinton is a Terrorist

During a CNN town hall on June 17, Hillary Clinton made some controversial remarks about opponents of gun control. “We cannot let a minority of people, and that’s what it is, it is a minority of people,” she said, “hold a viewpoint that terrorizes the majority of people.”

The fact is that Hillary Clinton is not for gun control. She is for gun centralization. She wants to limit possession of guns to the government and people the government approves of. To enforce this policy of gun centralization, she is perfectly willing to resort to violence of her own.

After all, how do gun “control” supporters plan to prevent certain people from getting guns? Those laws will be enforced by police with their own guns.

The only minority terrorizing the majority is the government.

Rand Paul slams ‘fat cats’ as hedge fund ranks among top donors

Sen. Rand Paul has preached the political peril of being too close to financiers as he gears up for a likely 2016 presidential bid. -- “We cannot be the party of fat cats, rich people, and Wall Street,” the Kentucky Republican told the audience at the Freedom Summit in New Hampshire in April. “Corporate welfare should once and for all be ended.”

Cochran Campaign Busted in Illegal Vote Buying Operation and Election Fraud

It's not just a smoking gun in Mississippi – it's an exploding gun, blowing up right in the face of the Thad Cochran campaign and the Haley Barbour PAC that was behind this blatantly unethical and patently illegal scheme.

Voter Fraud Scott Walker Style

According to the complaint: Monroe cast two ballots in the April 2011 Supreme Court election, two in the August 2011 Alberta Darling recall election, five in the Scott Walker-Tom Barrett recall, one illegal ballot in an August 2012 primary, and two ballots in the November 2012 presidential election. In the presidential election, Monroe cast an in-person absentee ballot in Shorewood on Nov. 1 and drove a rental car to Lebanon, Ind., where he showed his Indiana driver's license to vote in person on election day, Nov. 6, the complaint charges. Monroe owns a house there, according to the complaint. The 26-page criminal complaint was filed Friday in Milwaukee County Circuit Court and is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Bruce Landgraf, one of the prosecutors involved in the John Doe investigations of Gov. Scott Walker's staff when he was county executive and the now-halted probe into fundraising by Walker's gubernatorial campaign.

South Dakota Candidate Charged in Election Case

South Dakota authorities on Wednesday arrested defeated U.S. Senate candidate Annette Bosworth and charged her with multiple counts of perjury and filing false election documents, saying she fraudulently attested to gathering voter signatures when she was really on a Christian mission trip to the Philippines.

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley charged Bosworth with six counts of perjury and six counts of filing false documents related to election campaign laws. The arrest warrant was served a day after Bosworth lost the Republican primary with just 6 percent of the vote.

Romney Declines To Enroll In Medicare

Mitt Romney Declines To Enroll In Medicare So He Can Destroy It

Monday was Mitt Romney's 65th birthday. Happy birthday, Mittens. In honor of his 65th birthday he announced that he would not be enrolling in Social Security or Medicare. How noble. Except, it's not.

In deference to the conservative dogs nipping his heels, Romney has endorsed the Paul Ryan Medicare plan which would voucherize Medicare and leave senior citizens floundering on their own with private insurance companies. Of course, if you asked Mitt Romney about it, what you'd get is a bunch of lies. Really awful, cynical, blatant lies.

Bain Capital Owns Clear Channel (Romney Supported by Talk Show sphere)

Wouldn’t it be great if a Republican presidential candidate could just buy the support of just about every major conservative talk show host in America? Well, it may not be as far-fetched as you may think.

Clear Channel owns more radio stations (850) than anyone else in the United States. They also own Premiere Radio Networks, the company that syndicates the radio shows of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck, among others.

Needless to say, Clear Channel basically owns conservative talk radio in the United States. So who owns Clear Channel?

Webmaster's Commentary:

Of course all these conservative propagandists, in addition to their radio shows on Clear Channel, also have programs on TV as well, into which they carry their agenda. after all, they cannot be pro-Romney on their radio shows, then be pro-anyone else on TV! So, Bain not only controls the pro-Romney bias of Clear Channel but indirectly the content of TV political reporting as well!
