Snapchat just reserved the rights to store and use all selfies taken with the device

The beauty of Snapchat is that the photos only last for a few seconds, unless your friend decides to screenshot them.

Even then, you get a notification, so can know exactly which photos of you are owned by someone else.

However, now, the app has changed its terms and conditions so it owns every single photo taken using the app.

Not only this, but if you use it, you're consenting to the app doing whatever it likes with your photographs.

Belated admission of a war crime: When would “misrepresenting the truth" actually be called an outright lie?

“Dr Blix told me that Tony Blair’s claims about Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction were simply not an accurate reflection of the intelligence provided to the British government.
"The big difference in the British dossier,” Dr Blix told me, “was that they simply asserted that these items are there. But when Mr Blair asserts that there were weapons, well that's an assertion and it was not supported by evidence. Both the UK and the US replaced question marks by exclamation marks. I certainly think it was a misrepresentation.

US Sending Special Forces to Aid ISIS in Syria

US forces who obey these illegal orders are giving aid and comfort to the enemies of America! Treason doth prosper when none dare call it treason. This is TREASON most foul!

Washington is desperate to find ways of countering Russia’s effective Middle East agenda - combining formidable military might against terrorism with trustworthy diplomacy, proving Moscow is a valued partner, polar opposite Washington, a rogue bully.

Obama’s pledge about no “American combat troops fighting on foreign soil” proved another of his many Big Lies.
US Special Forces will be deployed to northern areas - illegally without Damascus or Security Council authorization.

Unannounced greater numbers may join them. Their mission: aiding ISIS and other takfiri terrorists, putting them in harm’s way.

Putin: Anthropogenic Climate Change is a Geostrategic Weapon

Russian President Vladimir Putin says global warming is being used as an economic weapon against his country.

He characterized climate change as a “fraud” used to prevent Russia from tapping its vast oil and natural gas reserves.

Greenpeace claims 85 percent of CO2 equivalent emissions in Russia come from its energy industry.

According to a political analyst Stanislav Belkovsky, Putin believes “there is no global warming, that this is a fraud to restrain the industrial development of several countries, including Russia.”

‘Self-Righteous Liberal Busybodies': Maher Begs PC Police to Stop Trying to Ruin Halloween

Bill Maher ended his show tonight with a rant against “self-righteous liberal busybodies” trying to scold everyone for politically incorrect Halloween costumes. “Stop lecturing us,” he said, “on what Halloween costumes are insensitive and inappropriate.”

Maher argued that the PC police have 364 days out of the year to be scolds and decide what is “problematic,” but Halloween “is supposed to be politically incorrect.”

White House Declines to Release Emails Between Hillary and Obama

The White House blocked the release of emails between former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Obama, an administration official said today. The move comes as over 7,000 pages of emails from Clinton’s private servers were released this afternoon.

The State Department released thousands of emails today as part of an ongoing discovery process from dozens of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuits filed against the department.

According to The New York Times, officials at the White House decided against disclosing correspondence between Obama and Clinton, citing “a long history of presidential records being kept confidential while the president is in office.”

Untangling America from the American Empire

The Status Quo would have us believe that America and its Empire are one entity. This is handy for those with Imperial designs but it is false: America could be untangled from its Empire, and many of us believe it is essential that America untangles itself from its Imperial structures and ideologies.

What I call The Imperial Project was cobbled together in the aftermath of World War II, when the Soviet Union and America posed an existential threat to each other's ideologies and systems. It may be hard to believe, but the U.S. did not have a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) or other espionage/intelligence gathering agency prior to World War II.

America had no spy agency and no Black Operations/Special Forces capabilities. The National Security State as we know it today did not exist.

An internet row between the father of a fatally shot TV reporter and a Virginia lawmaker escalated all the way to the governor’s office and capitol police.

Throughout October, gun control advocate Andy Parker, father of slain WDBJ reporter Alison Parker, was a frequent heckler on a Facebook page maintained by pro-gun state Sen. William M. Stanley Jr., R-Franklin County, commenting critically on virtually every post. This escalated until Tuesday when Parker wrote, “I’m going to be your worst nightmare you little bastard,” and another that read, “When you see me again, you best walk the other way lest I beat your little ass with my bare hands.”

US On Road To Third World — Paul Craig Roberts

snip: The departure of well-paid US manufacturing jobs was soon followed by the departure of software engineering, IT, and other professional service jobs.
In articles and books I challenged this absurd conclusion, and all of the economic evidence proves that I am correct. The promised better jobs that the “New Economy” would create to replace the jobs gifted to foreigners have never appeared. Instead, the economy creates lowly-paid part-time jobs, such as waitresses, bartenders, retail clerks, and ambulatory health care services, while full-time jobs with benefits continue to shrink as a percentage of total jobs.

These part-time jobs do not provide enough income to form a household. Consequently, as a Federal Reserve study reports, “Nationally, nearly half of 25-year-olds lived with their parents in 2012-2013, up from just over 25% in 1999.”

Everything You Needed to Know About Syria in 8 Minutes

snip: First of all there has not been a vote in Congress to authorize the use of force to authorize a war to overthrow a sovereign government … For as long as I have been there that has not happened. It didn’t happen before I got there. So the American people have not had a choice to speak their voice to approve or disapprove such a war. Therefore, its illegal.

Secondly it is counterproductive because right now US arms are getting into the hands of our enemies, al Qaeda, al-Nusra, these other groups, these Islamist extremist groups who are our sworn enemies. These are the groups who attacked us on 9-11 and are those we are supposedly trying to defeat, yet at the same time we are supporting them with these arms to overthrow the Syrian government.

Murder victim's mother injured when St. Louis officer fires gunshot at her dog, sources say

A woman whose son was killed in a double homicide Wednesday was shot in the leg when police fired at her dog during an incident at a home near the homicide scene Thursday afternoon.

St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson told reporters that at least three officers responded to a home in the 4400 block of Taft Avenue at the request of the Children’s Division of the Missouri Department of Social Services, as social workers tried to remove a 1-year-old from the home. Officers also were in the area investigating a double homicide that occurred in front of the home about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, he said.

When the social workers and at least one officer made their way into the home, a pit bull jumped a waist-high barricade that was keeping it confined to the kitchen and ran toward the officer and the social workers, Dotson told reporters.

Citing federal immunity, judge tosses manslaughter charge for Texas detective who shot unarmed black man in 2013

On Thursday night, just four days before the former Austin police officer was set to stand trial, a federal judge in Texas dismissed a manslaughter charge against Charles Kleinert in the 2013 shooting death of Larry Jackson Jr., an unarmed black man.

The ruling by U.S. District Judge Lee Yeakel cites a little known 1889 case that determined federal agents can be granted immunity from state criminal charges and undoes one of a handful of indictments handed down to police officers out of the thousands of fatal police shootings that have occurred in recent years.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Apparently, young, unarmed minorities are expendable in this country,as demonstrated by the "school to prison" program, so horrifically present in so many poor communities.

Apparently, there is no accountability for police in the city of Austin, who can do what they want with impunity, kill, and walk away scott free.

Please, never, EVER call 911, because it may be you yourself who gets arrested and killed.

Budget buster: Senate passes debt and spending hike in dead of night

Senate Republicans managed to wrangle enough of their troops to overcome a filibuster early Friday morning and pass the new budget deal, granting President Obama yet another debt holiday, busting the budget caps and boosting spending some $80 billion over the next two years.

Democrats, who are far more thrilled with the deal, did the heavy lifting, providing most of the votes as they won some $40 billion in new domestic spending in 2016 and 2017. They also forced the GOP to retreat on the hard-fought 2011 budget agreement that had helped bring deficits back under control.

Conservative Republicans were irate at their leaders and at defense hawks within the GOP who forced the deal by saying it was worth busting the caps in order to get the Pentagon more money at a time when the U.S. is fighting the war on terror.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A plague on both their houses!

And the reason I say that is the the Constitution enables Congress to create money as a public utility, rather than a loan at interest, the moment US currency is printed.

Why is NO ONE in Congress even daring to breathe one word about it?!?

The Federal Reserve is no more "Federal" than is Federal Express.

And this alleged "war on terror" is actually a "war on people" who have the singularly lousy fortune to live over, or adjacent to, resources that the US government wants to become captive American corporate resources, sold only in US dollars.

I am ashamed and disgusted with all "alleged" congressional representatives, because, at the end of the day, they only represent the large corporations, and their own financial interests.

We the People have become completely irrelevant, except to pay those taxes they so lavishly place upon us, and many future generations of our families.

We have stopped to matter to them, and that has to change.

And when that day of reckoning comes, I pray that it is peaceful; the anger, at so many levels of American life, is palpable.

I would counsel, that any demonstration of that anger be without violence, because violence is something this government is more than ready to put down with extreme prejudice.

Verizon Routing blocking certain sites? Anyone else having this problem?

I'm off from work this month. Since Thursday of last week (July 12th), my work website (through which our email and all of our other web portals are accessed) has been coming up as a "Website Not Available". Same message came up on my laptop, my wife's laptop, and on my tablet. At the time, I thought perhaps the techies at work were doing some type of server updating and that was the cause of it.

Same thing happened Friday. That was odd.

Then Saturday.

Monday rolled around the same message came up. No way it would be down for this long. I called my boss and he said: Nope, nothing was wrong on his end. I contacted our tech services. Nope, they hadn't been doing anything.

On a lark, I disconnected my smartphone from my WiFi and used my 4G to connect, and voila!, the website worked! Back on the WiFi, and no dough: Website Not Available. It was something on my router's end.

Talmud Cited By Defence at Topham Hate Crime Trial

After confirming that Wilson hadn't done anything but read the online text and then concluded that the book was anti-semitic and hateful he then established the fact that Wilson wasn't an "expert" in determining what "hate" was; only that he relied upon the definition used in the Keegstra Case as a guideline.

This opened up the door for my lawyer to select some of the more gross and controversial instances contained in the Talmud which related to sexual issues, and children, etc. He carefully read them out to the jury and had Wilson acknowledge that each selection conformed to the book. The jury of 8 women and 4 men sat there and listened to the an assortment of rather perverse and loathsome behaviours. When my counsel finished reading them, the day's proceedings ended.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Religious texts are not above criticism. We see people comment about many of the absurdities in the Bible and the Quran is constantly attacked. Yet Canada does not prosecute people critical of the Bible or the Quran under the hate crime laws. In a fair trial Topham would be free under the defense of selective prosecution. In the current case, the Topham's lawyer maneuvered the court into allowing the Jury to consider is some writings in the Talmud are worthy of criticism, and if they are,k then such criticism is legally protected free speech right alongside critics of the Bible and the Quran!

Criminalization of Anti-Israel Activism Escalates, This Time in the Land of the Charlie Hebdo “Free Speech” March

The absurdity of France’s celebrating itself for free expression was vividly highlighted by this week’s decision from that nation’s highest court, one that is a direct assault on basic free speech rights. The French high court upheld the criminal conviction of 12 political activists for the “crime” of advocating sanctions and a boycott against Israel as a means of ending the decades-long military occupation of Palestine. What did these French criminals do? This:

The individuals arrived at the supermarket wearing shirts emblazoned with the words: “Long live Palestine, boycott Israel.” They also handed out fliers that said that “buying Israeli products means legitimizing crimes in Gaza.”

In France — self-proclaimed Land of Liberté — doing that makes you a criminal.

Two more boys charged with 'insulting' Erdogan

Turkish prosecutors have charged two schoolboys aged 12 and 13 with insulting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after they tore down a poster of him, local media reports said Wednesday.

It is the latest case in which youngsters have been hauled before the courts in Turkey on similar charges, fuelling concerns about freedom of speech under Erdogan.

The prosecutor in the main Kurdish city of Diyarbakir is seeking jail terms of between 14 months and four years and eight months for the pair, according to the Hurriyet newspaper.

It said the two were caught in May ripping down the Erdogan poster on a Diyarbakir street but defended themselves saying they just wanted to sell the paper.

The Great American Military Rip-Off (and why Russia and China are gaining in defense)

Last week, Russian leader Vladimir Putin gave a public rebuttal to an open media challenge leveled by BBC veteran correspondent John Simpson, after Simpson accused Russia of being an ‘international aggressor’ in the both Europe and the Middle East.

Putin responded sharply by pointing that while Washington’s annual defense and military budget totals well over $600 billion, Russia’s annual budget is a meager $70 – $80 billion in comparison, and while the US operates well over 1,000 military bases and outposts globally, Russia has only two.

In light of Russia’s recent effectiveness in striking terrorist targets in Syria, this raises another very important question: is Russia getting more “bang for its buck” in terms of defense than the US?

A more apt question from American taxpayers might be: is the US military so over-bloated that it’s no longer competitive in real terms? That said, just how badly is the federal government ripping off the American taxpayer?

The Corporate Media State Has Deformed American Culture -- Time to Fight Back

The ability of the corporate state to pacify the country by extending credit and providing cheap manufactured goods to the masses is gone. The pernicious idea that democracy lies in the choice between competing brands and the freedom to accumulate vast sums of personal wealth at the expense of others has collapsed. The conflation of freedom with the free market has been exposed as a sham. The travails of the poor are rapidly becoming the travails of the middle class, especially as unemployment insurance runs out and people get a taste of Bill Clinton's draconian welfare reform. Refugee crisis: Brought to you by Western imperialism

Wherever a socially oriented government gets into power, the West immediately begins to manufacture and sponsor so-called “opposition movements.” Civil wars are triggered, sometimes followed by direct invasions.

The result is easy to predict: when progressive governments are forced to leave and the extreme, pro-business and pro-Western regimes are installed, the social fabric quickly collapses, brutality begins to reign and millions of desperate people are forced to flee. The same goes for when some horrific civil war is triggered from outside and divides the country.

Internally displaced, people begin to move all around their countries, aimlessly and in deep confusion. In the past it happened in such places as Cambodia, during and after the savage US carpet-bombing of the countryside, and it is now happening in Syria.

Turkey Election: Could Bitterly Divided Nation be Only a Few Steps Away from a Dictatorship?

Turkey goes to the polls on Sunday in a parliamentary election that threatens to increase polarisation in a country that is already deeply divided.

At stake is the extent to which President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Justice and Development Party (AKP), which has ruled Turkey since 2002, can establish one-party rule and near monopoly of political power.

The election is still in the balance, but inside Turkey the campaign has widened the fault lines between Kurds and Turks, secular and Islamic, Sunni majority and Alevi minority. Abroad, the results may determine the degree to which Turkey becomes further embroiled in the civil war in Syria and Iraq.

Webmaster's Commentary:

All the people of Turkey, including every member of every minority trying to seek political resolution to the many internal problems here, deserve far better than Edrogan's government has given them.

I would not be surprised if there was some kind of "false flag" happening in this country before the elections as an excuse to suspend them indefinitely, as Edrogan is eminently capable of such a thing, as his party hasn't been polling all that well.

The Southern Poverty Law Center blasted the thousands of parents with legitimate concerns over Common Core as “conspiracy theorists,” even though most criticism against Common Core is directed at its poor teaching methodologies.

The controversial group claimed criticism of the federal public school program is based on “outlandish conspiracy theories” and “wildly untrue claims,” but parents are generally upset with Common Core because it penalizes students for correctly answering questions.

“The latest and most virulent example of [Common Core criticism] is the rapidly spreading idea that the Common Core State Standards, an ambitious effort to lift student achievement across the country, is actually a dangerous conspiracy to indoctrinate young people into ‘the homosexual lifestyle,’ communism and globalist ideology, all the while collecting detailed and highly personal information about millions of citizens,” the SPLC asserted.

The common core standards outline the English and math skills students need to learn to be career and college ready. They were voluntarily adopted by 45 states including Michigan in 2010.

However, what is going on in Detroit public schools at the moment is nothing short of a damned shame for kids with the rotten luck to have to go to school there.

As reported yesterday by cnsnews.com:

In the Detroit public school district, 96 percent of eighth graders are not proficient in mathematics and 93 percent are not proficient in reading. That is according to the results of the 2015 National Assessment of Educational Progress tests published by the Department of Education’s National Center for Educational Statistics. Only 4 percent of Detroit public school eighth graders are proficient or better in math and only 7 percent in reading. This is despite the fact that in the 2011-2012 school year—the latest for which the Department of Education has reported the financial data—the Detroit public schools had “total expenditures” of $18,361 per student and “current expenditures” of $13,330 per student.

IF, in fact, the Common Core Curriculum was actually working, why are these results so horrifically abysmal?

There is a simple answer here; Common Core is not working, and is making proficiency worse, rather than better, for these kids.

It's all there in the numbers, folks.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is the latest federal agency known to use electronic cellphone surveillance equipment, according to a new report.

Invoices obtained under the Freedom of Information Act by The Guardian show that the IRS purchased cellphone tracking technology in 2009 and 2012. The equipment, manufactured by Harris Corporation and known as a Stingray, mimics a cell tower and can collect metadata about a call and sometimes even content from calls connected through them.

“The info showing that they are using Stingrays is generally consistent with the kinds of investigative tactics that they are engaging in, and it shows the wide proliferation of this very invasive surveillance technology,” Nate Wessler, a staff attorney with the speech, privacy and technology project at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) told The Guardian.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Welcome to Amerika, where every aspect of your life is surveilled, and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it...except to leave, as quickly as possible, to a place where this doesn't happen.

People with skills and kids, please get out of the country while you can.

After rejecting all the good privacy amendments to CISA, the Senate has now officially passed the legislation by a 74 to 21 vote. About the only “good” news is that the vote is lower than the 83 Senators who voted for cloture on it last week. Either way, the Senate basically just passed a bill that will almost certainly be used mainly for warrantless domestic surveillance, rather than any actual cybersecurity concern.
If you’d like to know which Senators voted for greater domestic surveillance, here’s your list:??

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder just WHAT kind of dirt the NSA, CIA, and the FBI had on those senators who voted for this abomination.

Police use terror powers to seize BBC Newsnight journalist's laptop

Police have used powers under the Terrorism Act to seize the laptop of a young Newsnight journalist in a case that has shocked BBC colleagues and alarmed freedom of speech campaigners, The Independent can disclose.

Officers obtained an order from a judge that was served on the BBC and Secunder Kermani, who joined the flagship BBC2 news show early last year and has produced a series of reports on British-born jihadis.

The development has caused alarm among BBC journalists. The editor of Newsnight, Ian Katz said: “While we would not seek to obstruct any police investigation we are concerned that the use of the Terrorism Act to obtain communication between journalists and sources will make it very difficult for reporters to cover this issue of critical public interest.”

I am not kidding he actually has said all of those things. He just changed his party affiliation to Republican six months prior to running for president.

Who Is Going To Be In Your Bunker? “What’s In Their Soul? Are They Empathetic?”

Will you survive with the kind of people you would actually want to live your life around? Can you really trust them?

Sad as it is, many neighbors and even family members will not be reliable partners in survival, and may not be trustworthy in a crisis either. At the same time, finding the right core group of people that can build a trusted community may be the only way to cover all the ground that must be covered in an aftermath or underground economy. The balance is very delicate indeed.

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson said Wednesday he would use the U.S. Department of Education to police speech on college campuses.

During an interview, Glenn Beck asked Carson if he would shut down the Education Department as president.

"I actually have something I would use the Department of Education to do," Carson responded. "It would be to monitor our institutions of higher education for extreme political bias and deny federal funding if it exists."

Massive Debt, Budget Deal Introduced In Dead of Night, Vote Violates Another Boehner Pledge

The giant debt ceiling increase rolled together with a budget deal was introduced at 11:36 p.m. Monday, in the dead of night, several congressional sources confirm to Breitbart News.

The text is 144 pages long and increases the debt ceiling beyond when President Barack Obama leaves office, all the way until March 2017. It also, according to Politico, increases spending by $50 billion this year and $30 billion more the following year.

As AP reports, House Speaker Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) is pushing for a Wednesday vote, this would be yet another instance in which he has broken his promise to give members and the public three full days—72 hours—to read legislation before voting on it.

Two recent legislative efforts have been mounted to add police to the rolls of "disadvantaged" citizens in need of the additional shelter of "hate crime" laws. Hate crime laws are immediately problematic. They add additional punishments to criminal acts already punishable under existing laws. It's exactly the sort of thing justice isn't meant to be: vindictive. A murder is a murder, whether or not it was propelled by someone's underlying biases. A threat is a threat, no matter the threatener's personal views on race, marriage or human sexuality. Adding additional punishments solely because of a perceived motive serves no purpose other than to make those who support these laws feel like past racial/sexual wrongs are slowly being righted. The sinners of the present pay for the sins of the past sinners.

SWAT operators were among the estimated 70 officers deployed to Denver’s Sustainability Park on October 24 to tear down “tiny homes” erected the group Denver Homeless Out Loud (DHOL). Protest organizers explained that the park had been selected because the Denver Housing Authority, which owns the property, has demolished hundreds of low-income housing units, exacerbating an already critical shortage of affordable homes. Zoning and building code restraints have frustrated efforts to build the “tiny homes” elsewhere in the city. Had the demonstration proceeded as planned, activists would have erected a makeshift community called Resurrection Village modeled after the 3,000-person tent city built in Washington, D.C. by Martin Luther King, Jr..’s Poor People’s Human Rights Campaign nearly fifty years ago. Ten activists were arrested during the Denver crack-down.

WATCH: NYC cop puts skateboarder in banned chokehold and blasts him with pepper spray

New York City police officer has been accused of using a banned chokehold to take down a skateboarder during an arrest captured on video.

Yibin Mu, of Queens, posted the video Monday on YouTube showing the officer grab and throw him to the ground during the incident about 5 p.m. Sunday in Columbus Circle, where skateboarding is prohibited, reported Gothamist.

“Without warning, the police officer used one hand to grab my forearm and the other hand to grab the back of my neck,” Mu explained in the YouTube post. “He then put me in a chokehold and this is what happened next. I was non-aggressive the entire time.”

Mu posted video of the arrest on his Facebook page, captioned: “When police brutality finally happens to you.”

Police confirmed that the 22-year-old Mu had been arrested for skateboarding despite six signs warning that the activity was not allowed — although Mu claims he never saw those.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I get that this young man was doing something illegal by skateboarding in a restricted area. But really, was a choke hold, and throwing him him to the ground actually necessary?!?

I live my life relatively quietly, so don't really have confrontations with police officers, so I cannot begin to imagine what happens in confrontations between cops and American minorities, where things can turn completely nasty in a heartbeat.

But I do understand that something has gone horribly wrong with a culture of police brutality which can overwhelm a completely innocent suspect, even to the point of death.

Total Number of People Fatally Shot by British Police in Last 3 Years: 2

Average Number of People Fatally Shot by U.S. Police Per Day So Far in 2015: 2.6

Of all the alarming statistics, stories, and, increasingly, videos that indicate a rising tide of police brutality – or, as the government more euphemistically terms it, “excessive force” – the above numbers should be the most concerning for every citizen of the United States. Not simply because of the astronomical disproportion at hand, but because of the object of that disproportion. To whom do we compare with so unfavorably?

That’s right. The very tyrannical entity from which we originally escaped, then rebelled. We’ve become our own worst nightmare.

Why did we rebel? State overreach that included an invasive, aggressive, and overly hostile standing militia – then the equivalent a police force.

The Next Tool of Tyranny and Enslavement Is Coming From Your Pastor and FEMA

Many who have followed the writings on this site are all too familiar with how the Department of Homeland Security and FEMA have turned your pastor into an agent of the state. And as such, your pastor has been trained to invoke Romans 13 in order to enforce compliance with government edicts, no mater how draconian, in a time of national emergency.

Many of the nation’s pastors have been trained how to bring calm to incarcerated Americans being held in the proverbial FEMA camps in which the pastors are forbidden to quote the Bible and speak of Jesus. Democratic Party rescinds support for democracy, claims Hillary must be president because that's what the people in charge want

It's official: the Democratic Party has shed any political reference to its very name. The party might as well rename itself the "Dictator Party."

As reported by the Daily Mail Online, the party's female hierarchy has decided that regardless of who is running for the party's 2016 presidential nomination, it is Hillary Clinton's for the taking.

The paper noted:

The Democratic National Committee is "clearing a path" for Hillary Clinton to be its presidential nominee because its upper power echelons are populated with women, according to a female committee member who was in Las Vegas for [the first Democratic] primary debate.

Democracy, it seems, is dead in the democracy party.

In a bitter twist, by making these accusations directed against Moscow, the Obama Administration candidly acknowledges what has been known from the outset: the presence of Western forces inside Syria in support of Al Qaeda affiliated terrorists. Lest we forget, this constitutes an undeclared act of war against a sovereign country in violation of international law (Nuremberg). Amply documented, from the outset of the Syrian insurgency, Western special forces and covert intelligence agents including British SAS, French Parachutistes, CIA, MI6 and Mossad have integrated rebel ranks. Their activities are not limited to training.

Universities Face Another Push to Criminalize Speech Criticizing Israel

A revived effort at the University of California system to criminalize speech critical of the state of Israel by deeming it "anti-Semitic" is being met with considerable push-back from students and social justice campaigners, who say there is nothing intolerant about human rights advocacy.

A Monday night forum at the University of California Los Angeles campus was framed by the state system as a public hearing on an initiative—undertaken by an eight-member working group of university regents, faculty, and administrators—to redraft a statement of principles against intolerance.

But the hearing itself was denounced as the product of efforts by Israel advocates to press the system to brand criticism of Israel as "anti-Semitic" and "intolerant."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Claiming that criticism of Israel is just anti-Semitism is like claiming criticism of the Nazis is just anti-Germanism!

US Senate approves CISA cyber-spy-law, axes privacy safeguards

The bill encourages tech giants and other companies to disregard existing privacy agreements and share citizens' personal information with the federal government in exchange for immunity from prosecution by angry customers.

This will allow agents to pick out signs of criminality from the volunteered data, and use it to catch online crooks. In return, companies will get some advance intelligence on security vulnerabilities and upcoming cyberattacks.

Opponents of the bill fear CISA will give the government a license to snoop on citizens under the broad umbrella of cybersecurity, and the immunity provisions will encourage companies to hand over people's private records. There are concerns that the bill would make it much harder to reach a data sharing agreement with Europe after the collapse of the safe harbor agreement.

Pentagon funding bill on Obama’s desk: $600 mln to Syrian rebels, $300 mln to Kiev

The defense funding bill for 2016 includes some lavish support to rebels in Syria and lethal aid to the current Ukrainian government. Although President Barack Obama is at loggerheads with lawmakers over some of the provisions, they are likely to remain.

Obama has threatened to veto the $612 billion National Defense Authorization Act – also known as House Resolution 1735, or the NDAA – because it contains provisions blocking the plans to shut down the detention camp at the US base in Guantanamo Bay, and because it avoids a cap on defense spending by padding a special account reserved for bankrolling wars. The Senate passed the NDAA on Wednesday with a veto-proof majority.

Turkish police raid opposition TV station ahead of election

Offices of Turkish opposition media group Koza Ipek are being stormed by Turkish police. Tear gas and water cannon are being used to quell the protest after an earlier assault on the building.

Media workers have told RT they are being prevented from entering or exiting the building, and broadcasting has been stopped by the police.

"They don't let me go outside my office," Emrah Ulker, a journalist from Koza Ipek's subsidiary Bugun TV told RT by phone from inside the besieged building. "They cut our broadcast, and now we have a black screen, because we are open to all different political views of Turkish society."

The incident took place outside the offices of Kanalturk and Bugun TV in Istanbul, while footage was broadcast live on Bugun’s website.

It comes days before the country goes to the polls. The media outlet is linked to an Islamic preacher opposed to President Tayyip Recep Erdogan.

Ron Paul on CIA Drug Trafficking

Webmaster's Commentary:

This seems like a good moment to recommend a movie that is currently on cable, "Kill The Messenger", which tells the story of San Jose Mercury News reporter Gary Webb, who blew the lid off of US Government drug running in his story "Dark Alliance." The film ends with his death from two gunshots to the head (declared a suicide). The really disgusting part was how Webb's co-workers and friends all acted like subjects in Stanley Milgram's obedience experiment; willing to destroy the career and life of their friend and co-worker because an authority figure told them to. Needless to say, everything Gary Webb reported has since been confirmed many times over by others, such as Eugene Hassenfuss, Terry Reed, Sally Denton, Roger Morris and the photos of US forces guarding the Afghanistan opium poppy fields and shipping sacks of raw opium!

How Do Presidential Candidates Weigh in on the Issue of GMOs?

While these aren’t all the 2016 presidential candidates, the front runners have definitely weighed in on the issue. Who do you trust to govern food safety in 2016? After Obama’s empty promise to label GMO foods, maybe the answer is none of them.

Oct 27 12:40

When analyzing geopolitics it’s important to try and skate ahead of the puck, so to speak. That is, while it’s useful to understand what’s going on now, it’s even more imperative to analyze the situation in an attempt to understand how the situation is likely to evolve going forward. As it relates to the Mid-East, that means looking past Syria and on to Iraq. As we’ve outlined in great detail of late, there’s every reason to suspect that Russia will expand its airstrikes across the Syrian border and indeed, Baghdad has reportedly given Moscow the go-ahead to hit ISIS convoys fleeing Syria into Iraqi territory. This is in direct contradiction to what PM Haider al-Abadi told Gen. Joseph Dunford last week and suggests that Baghdad is about to pivot East, after becoming frustrated with a lack of results stemming from more than a year of US airstrikes against Islamic State targets.

How the Globalists Are Dividing, Conquering and Destroying America by Turning American Citizens against Each Other

The robber baron bankster himself J.P. Morgan commented after the Great Depression:

When through a process of law the common people have lost their homes, they will be more tractable and more easily governed by the strong arm of the law applied by the central power of leading financiers. People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders. This is well known among our principle men now engaged in forming an imperialism of [crony] capitalism to govern the world. By dividing the people we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us.

More news continues to pour in about Officer Ben Fields.

And as you might have guessed, it’s quite disturbing.

Officer Fields is the subject of nationwide outrage right now, after two videos surfaced showing him attack a schoolgirl. (Watch the original unedited videos.)

Officer Fields is currently on “administrative leave” for the attack.

Like a true coward, he deleted his social media accounts to avoid all the backlash he was getting from Americans.

It turns out that he has a troublesome past, and this would not be his first time initiating violent action on innocent people.

In 2005, Officer Fields attacked an Army medic.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What messages, I have to wonder, did this officer get from his CO, or city or state officials, to the effect that this kind of behaviour against a kid was absolutely, perfectly OK, and routine?!?

I would suggest to people who can, like those in Grass Valley, South Carolina, and are living in areas where police brutality is common, to move.

Take the money away from the local tax base; rob schools of students, so those schools no longer get matching funds from the Federal and State governments, and take your business transactions outside the community.

It is a peaceful, and completely non-violent way, of demonstrating to city, county, and police executives that because you will not tolerate this kind of behaviour, you are moving to a part of the country where this behaviour is not tolerated on the part of the police.

If financial circumstances prevent you from moving, now is the time to establish a police/community relations board, even if it is not officially sanctioned. Invite leaders of the local police department; if they chose not to show, make that public, not in a nasty way, but in such a way that it becomes thoroughly public through social media.

Organise your community; petition; make all such acts so public that every member of your community will put the highest form of legal pressure against the local educational board and mayor until such behaviour stops, completely.

And to add insult to actual injury, the young woman who filmed the incident was arrested, and held on 1,000.00 bail. As reported by WLTX:

outh Carolina high school student who witnessed her classmate being physically abused by a school resource officer was arrested and held on $1,000 for filming the incident. Niya Kenny, 18, told WLTX she was shocked and disturbed when she saw Officer Ben Fields flipping her female classmate out of her desk and pinning her to the ground for refusing to leave class. “I was screaming ‘What the f, what the f is this really happening?’ I was praying out loud for the girl,” Kenny told WLTX. “I just couldn’t believe this was happening I was just crying and he said, since you have so much to say you are coming too. I just put my hands behind my back.”

Welcome to Amerika, my friends.

A federal district court yesterday dismissed Wikimedia v. NSA, a lawsuit brought by the ACLU on behalf of a broad group of educational, legal, human rights, and media organizations whose communications are swept up by the NSA’s unprecedented Internet dragnet.

Our lawsuit concerns the NSA’s “upstream” surveillance, which involves the mass interception and searching of Americans’ international Internet communications. The court held that our clients lacked “standing” to bring suit, because they had not plausibly alleged that their communications were being monitored by the NSA. That’s just plain wrong.

The court’s opinion relies heavily on the Supreme Court’s decision in a previous ACLU lawsuit, Amnesty v. Clapper, a challenge to warrantless surveillance under the FISA Amendments Act of 2008. In February 2013, the Supreme Court dismissed that case on the grounds that the plaintiffs could not prove that they had communicated with the NSA’s targets.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One has to wonder just what the NSA has on the members of this court to force them to dismiss the lawsuit.

A federal court on Monday ruled that a Michigan man can challenge his inclusion on the government's "No Fly List," in a move that is being celebrated as a victory for the hundreds of U.S. citizens assigned to that secretive list, as well as the countless Arab-Americans routinely subjected to similar racial profiling.

Reversing a previous district court ruling, Circuit Judge Julia Smith Gibbons ordered (pdf) "further proceedings" in the case of Saeb Mokdad, a Lebanese-American who since September 2012 has been prohibited three times from boarding a plane to visit his family in Lebanon.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Judge Gibbons, congratulations for doing the right thing here; you have, in my eyes, become a heroine of the Constitution.

It doesn't mean that this decision won't get slammed down by a higher court; but that this judge had the courage to do the right thing demonstrates to me that there are still good, moral, people in this country.

And it is those people who are worth (peacefully) fighting for, to get this country's government back on the track of following the Constitution and Bill of Rights in all aspects of its functioning.

On July 26, Seneca Police Lt. Mark Tiller ran towards 19-year-old Zachary Hammond’s car with his gun drawn as Hammond’s date, Tori Morton, allegedly sold a few grams of marijuana to an undercover cop.

According to Seneca Police Chief John Covington, Hammond drove toward Lt. Tiller in an attempt to murder him. Fearing for his life, Tiller shot Hammond twice at point-blank range killing him. But according to witness statements and Hammond’s autopsy, the teenager was not attempting to run down Tiller in the moments before his death.

Hammond’s autopsy revealed that the teen was shot in the back of his left shoulder and his side.

In a letter from Hammond’s attorney to the FBI, a witness has recently come forward describing officers planting evidenceunder Hammond’s body and high-fiving his dead hand after the shooting. Although police found no weapon or drugs on Hammond, Chief Covington claims that a white powdery substance was found at the scene.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Apparently, murder, and lying about having committed it, have become standard operating procedure to police departments around the country.

People with skills and kids, please get the hell out of Amerika, because any engagement with the police, even if you are completely innocent, can result in an assassination.

Many hold a touchingly naive faith that the Status Quo will save them even as the current system unravels. Why is this faith naive? Let's start with this key question: does the Status Quo strike you as being even remotely competent?

Cops Just Raided This Innocent Family’s Home Because a Stolen Car Was “Parked Nearby”

At this point the family members knew nothing about why they were being ill treated.

Erin Broussard, the girlfriend of one of the boys, says she thought the house had been broken into by burglars.

“At first I thought we were getting robbed, then I saw it was cops,” she commented.

The neighbors stepped out of their houses to enquire was going on.

At around the 45 minute mark they left the family go.

This is when the Landrys learnt that a car had been stolen from the dollar store nearby and it was found unattended and running in front of their home.

Nancy says the officers wasted time on a confused family while missing out on the opportunity of catching the real perpetrators.

Criminalization of Anti-Israel Activism Escalates, This Time in the Land of the Charlie Hebdo “Free Speech” March

The post-Charlie Hebdo “free speech” march in Paris was a fraud for multiple reasons, as I wrote at the time. It was led by dozens of world leaders, many of whom imprison or even kill people for expressing prohibited views. It was cheered by many westerners who feign upset only when free speech abridgments are perpetrated by Muslims, but not – as is far more common – by their own governments against Muslims.

Worst of all, the march took place in a country which is one of the most hostile to free speech rights in the west, as France quickly demonstrated in the days after the march by rounding up and prosecuting Muslims and other anti-Israel activists for the political views they expressed. A great best-selling book by French philosopher Emmanuel Todd released this year argues that these “free speech” marches were a “sham,” driven by many political sentiments – nativism, nationalism, anti-Muslim bigotry – that had nothing to do with free speech.

Organized Jewry Tries to Silence Old Hippie

In essence this isn't just the trial of Arthur Topham based upon a politically motivated and spurious Sec. 319(2) Criminal Code of Canada "Hate Propaganda" charge initiated by one of Canada's largest Zionist Jew lobby organization, B'nai Brith Canada.

It's far more than that. What will be on trial from October 26th to November 6th is the legal entitlement of all Canadians to exercise their Constitutionally guaranteed right to freedom of expression, both on and off the Internet - as written in Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms, Sec. 2b which states that "Everyone has the following fundamental freedoms: (b) freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication".

Death of Sarasota man in police custody ruled an accident

On May 6th, John Kaafi was arrested during a traffic stop. While trying to escape from police, Kaafi was hit with a flashlight, and tasered. Kaafi then reported he was not feeling well, and became visibly ill.

He was taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, where he died 36 hours later.

According to reports from the District Twelve Medical Examiner, Kaafi had cocaine and cannabinoids in his system at the time of his arrest and died of complications from acute cocaine intoxication.

Ben Carson's Closest Confidant, Business Partner, & 'Brother-Like' Adviser is Armstrong Williams, Rabid Zionist & Disgraced Paid Propagandist for Bush Administration

Armstrong Williams, the black man posing as a 'conservative commentator,' is notorious for being exposed as a phony who took money from the Bush Administration to push the globalist 'No Child Left Behind,' garbage. Williams is presidential hopeful Ben Carson's 'right hand man'- and much more than that. The two are intimately close, Williams has a room in Carson's home, their families vacation together, Armstrong employs Ben Carson's sons, and is Carson's financial adviser and 'business partner.' The rabidly anti-Palestinian Williams recently accompanied Ben Carson to Israel. Despite pretending to be conservative while shilling for 'No child left behind,' Armstrong also admittedly used his blackness and 'minority status,' as opposed to his merit, to convince the FCC to let him buy up more TV stations. This is admitted in official FCC filings and papers. Armstrong recently tweeted "Here we go again.

I chanced across an article documenting how the Zionists had been using the theme of "Six Million Jews" long before World War 2. This article was hosted on scribd and no sooner did I link to that article from whatreallyhappened.com than it was pulled from the scribd server.

The reason for the panic reaction is obvious. As doubts continue to surface regarding the claim of Six Million Jews intentionally exterminated by Germany in the 1940s, evidence that the Six Million "brand" has been used prior to that time undermines its credibility even further.

So where did the Six Million come from, if not in actual fact from the crimes of the Nazis? It actually originates in a prophecy from the Talmud, which states that after Six Million Jews are sacrificed, Israel will be restored to the survivors.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Netanyahu's lie that the Holocaust was started by the Palestinians (who don't exist and you are a filthy Jew-hating anti-Semite who wants Hitler to come back and gas Jewish babies in the ovens if you say they do) has made the questioning of orthodox history socially acceptable (except for the people hammering my server today) and to nobody's surprise, articles and videos are pouring onto the internet pointing out the obvious flaws in the official story of WW2. Now that Americans are well aware that the US Government tells them some huge whoppers, such as Saddam's nuclear weapons, Assad's gas and so forth, they are far more receptive to the idea that most if not all that they have been shown by TV and movies or taught in the state-controlled schools is total fiction.

And one more interesting tidbit.

Remembver that newspaper from 1933 with the banner headline "Judea declares war on Germany", announcing the global boycott on Germany for rejecting the private central bank imposed on them at the end of WW1?

Thousands March against US-NATO War Games in Italy and Spain

Thousands of anti-war protesters in Italy and Spain have taken to streets to express opposition to war games conducted in their respective countries by the US-led NATO military alliance.

The demonstrators carried banners and chanted anti-NATO and anti-US slogans during their protest in the southern Italian city of Naples and Spain’s capital Madrid, insisting that the aim of ongoing military drills – dubbed ‘Trident Juncture 2015’ — is to prepare for new aggression on the horizon.

According to press reports, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization embarked on a major military exercise on September 28 in bases in Spain, southern Italy, as well as Portugal involving 36,000 air, land, and marine troops from over 40 countries and organizations. The war games – the NATO’s largest in the past 13 years — is set to continue until November 6.

Just when you thought Wall Street’s heist of the U.S. financial system couldn’t get any crazier, along comes a regulator’s report on FDIC-insured banks exposure to derivatives. According to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), one of the regulators of national banks, as of June 30 of this year, Goldman Sachs Bank USA had $78 billion in deposits, and – wait for it – $45.7 trillion in notional amount of derivatives. (Notional means face amount of derivatives.) According to the OCC report, Goldman Sachs Bank USA’s notional derivatives are an eye-popping 563 percent of its risk-based capital. You and every other little guy in America is backstopping this bank because it’s, amazingly, FDIC insured.

State police in Michigan have been secretly using hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of cell site simulator equipment to locate and track cell phones since at least 2006, according to records obtained by the ACLU and ACLU of Michigan. And although the agency justified its initial purchase of the surveillance gear as "vital to the war on terrorism," the records show that the department used its cell site simulators in 128 run-of-the-mill investigations last year--not a single one of which was for terrorism. The records also highlight the continuing problem of excessive secrecy about use of this invasive tracking equipment.

Cell site simulators, commonly known as Stingrays, can precisely locate and track phones by mimicking cell phone towers and forcing phones in the area to transmit their unique identifying information. Because these devices raise serious privacy concerns, the ACLU has been tracking their purchase and use by law enforcement agencies across the country.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The BEST possible way of avoiding terrorists doing something awful in this country is to stop mucking about in other peoples' countries, and laying claim to resources to which the US has absolutely no moral right.

Of course, such an approach by the US government would be....logical.

And unfortunately, logical and US foreign policy in this country haven't been close in decades.

The Red Wing (MN) City Council passed a resolution last week calling for crimes against law enforcement to be prosecutable as hate crimes.

The picturesque town on the banks of the Mississippi River is believed to be the second place in the nation — and the first city — to pass such a resolution.

First off, cops aren’t being targeted with any more regularity than they’ve ever been. In fact, the last time cops were “targeted” at a level anyone rational would consider to be a problem was during Prohibition, nearly 100 years ago. (The second spike is due to another round of prohibition — the declaration of the “War on Drugs” by President Richard Nixon.)

Webmaster's Commentary:

We do not need more laws with which to protect police officers; we need police offices obeying the law in all of their encounters with We the People.

FLASHBACK - 72 Types Of Americans That Are Considered “Potential Terrorists” In Official Government Documents

Are you a conservative, a libertarian, a Christian or a gun owner? Are you opposed to abortion, globalism, Communism, illegal immigration, the United Nations or the New World Order? Do you believe in conspiracy theories, do you believe that we are living in the “end times” or do you ever visit alternative news websites (such as this one)?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, you are a “potential terrorist” according to official U.S. government documents.

At one time, the term “terrorist” was used very narrowly. The government applied that label to people like Osama bin Laden and other Islamic jihadists. But now the Obama administration is removing all references to Islam from terror training materials, and instead the term “terrorist” is being applied to large groups of American citizens.

Detroit Billboard Denounced as “anti-Semitic” for Putting America First

The organized Jewish community, led by the Anti-Defamation League, has condemned a billboard in Detroit, Michigan which simply reads, “America First, Not Israel,” denouncing the advertisement as “anti-Semitic.”

Considering the dominating and tyrannical influence of organized Jewry in America, where any criticism of Jews or the Jewish state of Israel is strictly forbidden and hysterically decried as “anti-Semitic,” it’s amazing a billboard of this nature would even be allowed to go up in the first place.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Apparently Israel has redefined "anti-Semitism" as putting ones country ahead of a foreign government, and if that is the new definition of "anti-Semitism", then ... guilty as charged!

The Palestine Exception to Free Speech: A Movement Under Attack in the US

This report, released by the Center for Constitutional Rights and Palestine Legal in September 2015, documents for the first time the widespread and growing suppression of Palestinian human rights advocacy in the United States. Between January 2014 and June 2015, Palestine Legal responded to nearly 300 incidents of suppression; 85% of those incidents targeted students and professors, on a total of more than 65 US college campuses. This trend has significant implications for both the First Amendment and democratic principles like academic freedom, not to mention the mission of higher education to help develop critical thinking. The report outlines the tactics – including event cancellations, baseless legal complaints, administrative disciplinary actions, firings, and false and inflammatory accusations of terrorism and antisemitism – that Israel advocacy organizations, universities, government actors, and other institutions have used against activists.

The Importance of the Official 9/11 Myth

The people who actually committed the crimes of September 11th didn’t intend to just hijack planes and take down the buildings—they intended to blame others. To accomplish that plan the real criminals needed to create a false account of what happened and undoubtedly that need was considered well in advance. In this light, the official reports can be seen to provide a link between the “blaming others” part of the crimes and the physical parts.

Pushing the concept of “Islamic Terrorism” was the beginning of the effort to blame others, although the exact 9/11 plan might not have been worked out at the time. This concept was largely a conversion of the existing Soviet threat, which by 1989 was rapidly losing its ability to frighten the public, into something that would serve more current policy needs.
